Prompt 247
Danny grumbles, going limp as the Spirit plucked him up, holding him out like some sort of stray cat. Their golden eyes stared across him, white hair shimmering and bloodied feathers rustling as they tilted their head.
“You sure he’s not somehow ours?” Bludhaven asks again, setting him down once more to circle. Amity laughs, wild hair the color of wheat fluttering in a non-existent breeze and portal pulsing like a heart as she rests a hand on his head.
“Well darlin’, I am asking if you would be open to adopting,” the Spirit laughs, the sound as familiar as the birds outside his window in the mornings. “Well, I suppose I could always ask your dear sister Arkham-”
“No no, I would be honored,” Bludhaven smiled a literally sharp grin, something mischievous and violent about it in a way Danny was slowly growing used to. “I’m just- look at the little ghostling! He looks like he could be from ours! My hair, your eyes… he’s just missing markings…”
“Markings he’ll get once you give me an answer darlin’...”
“OH- Yes, of course! Sorry, I got whelmed there.”
“You have been stalking your vigilante a bit too much there Blud.”

ichiro and kuukou’s conversation about akira and satoru this episode briefly confused me so i decided to compile what we know about our primary rhyme anima antagonists lol
a group of four by the names of kaibyakumon kikoku, chiaro, scuro and tbh
we know chiaro and scuro are aliases for kasago akira and wakasagi satoru, but they themselves have no recollection of their true names
tbh is implied to know their real identities however. he and very likely kikoku are concealing their identities for a number of reasons
tbh is the only one of the four whose real name we don’t know yet, if he has one lol
kikoku created, simply put, a sister company, called beginning gate that the four of them worked for. the parent company to beginning gate was called bg group. at some point tho, it all vanished without a trace
ramuda for some reason or another seems to be familiar with beginning gate given he reacted to the name during the tdd rundown
our antagonists purposefully targeted the chuuoku director of corrections, and maybe during that attack, all files related to akira and satoru were wiped
kikoku is an engineering genius and hitoya and jakurai’s old college classmate
presumably because of his genius, they can float, open portals to teleport and mind hack to some degree with the hypmics
bc of this they keep getting compared to ghosts; we even got jakurai and kuukou supplanting the idea of the second death, where the person dies and all memory of the person also dies
rei said the mics were untampered with, so we’re to assume all mics involved are normal
there is still the pointed existence of the tbh truck that drives around playing their music
kikoku has been shown hooked up to several IVs as he watches his plans come together, seated beside whatever tf this is. i’m not a biology chick but it kinda gave, to me at least, binucleated cells that’s typical of cancer
he’s also been shown in conjunction with jellyfish. immortality symbolism maybe???
akira and satoru seemed to have been under the bg group/beginning gate’s protection based on kuukou and ichiro’s conversation. tho they seemed to occasionally get into fights anyway (i personally suspect bc of said protection lol) presumably once beginning gate fell, they lost said protection

imagine: hi-fi rush 2, which introduces the middle Vandelay child - Skonez, and his dog, Biscuit (or.. Bizkuit?) (and obviously, he’s emo)
ANYWAY! character concept/OC (for a romantic interest for chai) i’ve been thinking about in my brain for a whole WEEK
info sheet under cut
yeah. i have the next game mapped out in my head- HI-FI RUSH 2: BATTLE OF THE BANDS!
ambassadors for different rival tech companies come together to battle & show off who has the better tech (via.. music battles, naturally). except its all a ploy to steal all that tech so that a certain somebody can restart his tech empire.
i want the concept of skonez to be the perfect rival/future partner for chai; perfectly matching some things opposite of chai, while also having the same interests (aka, puns). y’know?
if anybody has any thoughts/questions/criticism/opinions, definitely down to hear them!!

the night tadashi met @flossinspector
“Sleep tight my Tadashi.” A kiss to his forehead.
“You wouldn’t want to be missing out on a nice buck from her buddy-”
“Tameo, shh!-”
The giggle and chuckle from a set of parents become white noise to a young child named Tadashi Hamada. His mind has room for one voice, and that was his own. Tonight was special. It would be for any other child who has experienced the same; Tadashi’s first tooth came out. And his parents tucked him in bed with the most riveting tale. The tooth fairy is coming!
It’s supposed to convince him to sleep quicker, yet it’s doing the opposite; Tadashi’s shut eyes feign sleep to his parents, but when they embark with a baby Hiro to their room and flick the lights off, Tadashi’s eyes open. His wide, white eyes contrasting the dark of his room. Nothing haunted his mind, he was just eager. What should he do to prepare? Should he unlock his windows? Should he sleep at the opposite side of his bed to make it easier for the tooth fairy to retrieve his tooth under the pillow? Should he-
*:・゚✧
Before him, fluttered a far more creative iteration of the tooth fairy, a version that not even his youthful mind could imagine. A lithe figure that shares her presence with her array of wings, a human with feathers so lustrous, that it almost made her body look like if it was made up of scales, a woman with lips that were born to smile. And all that he could do was take it all in with a grin of his own. Not even his missing front tooth could make his smile incomplete.
“The tooth fairy!”
It is an excited whisper, the special kind that only a child can conjure. He is, thankfully, not stretching his voice into a full-blown scream. Fear didn’t exist, no, only wonder.
Tadashi escapes his blanket and gets his knees to eagerly crawl to the end of his bed. When he makes it, his chest heaves. In it, contained his fast-paced heart. But no matter how ferociously it drummed at his ribcage, all that he could do was breathe. Tadashi Hamada, a young, ordinary boy of 6, was sharing an orbit of a revered friend. He was going to be knowing the tooth fairy. Would she be taking his tooth in her hands? Is she going to manifest a new one for him? What will happen to his tooth? Do teeth gain consciousness upon her touch? There was so much to know! Instead of asking, his throat stirs a girlish squeal as he clutches the blanket in front of him into a hug.
“I’m … I’m Tadashi! Are you taking my little tooth? Here-”
His knees scurry back to the start as he flips the pillow upward like opening a treasure chest with a sacred item inside; on his mattress, untouched, was a piece of him that belonged to him no more. The child honors it by staring at it seconds longer before his enthusiasm --enthusiasm that wants to know what happens next-- makes the gaze short-lived. He comes back to her the same way he did earlier.
“You’re so pretty! … I want you to meet my parents and my little brother! Oh, can I bring them? Can I?”
Tadashi giggles at his own excitement. He makes no sense in being uncoordinated, but when does anybody make sense when they’re so full of love?
