came home from work exhausted and starving all I wanted was my jjajang ramen and I lost all of my noodles draining the water they all fell in the sink this is the end for me

But anyway.

Ken, Phayu & Hin and Chayeon & Sai arrive at a flower garden. This is where Lue's map led them to. But instead of Lue they meet... Maengpong.

You know what, I don't even have a picture of Maengpong. He's one of Phayu's men in black. If I tell you he's Safe's boyfriend you won't know, either. It's complicated, ok (I really need to get on to that relationship/actor chart). Just know that Maengpong is one of the (many, many) boyfriends. He's the same age as Ken and Phayu. I think he's from the south and/or beach, and he knows how to fight. His name means 'scorpion'.

Anyway, Maengpong doesn't even seem surprised. He's holding another cloth bag that Lue gave him not 15 minutes ago (and during the flashback he seemed really unsurprised and calm about it all. He even called Lue "Ai Lue"). As for what he's doing in a flower garden/in Uttaradit in general? Apparently he's here for holiday snaps.

Inside the bag there's another map and a puzzle piece. There's also another message: ชีวิตก็เช่นกัน - which translates to "Life's also like this." So basically "That's life", I guess.

Lue, why are you doing this? Seek therapy. Consult a monk. Touch some trees. Stop this.

Ken is understandably upset, but he now wants to meet Lue more than ever (to punch him in the face, right? Right?). Everyone's sympathising. Hin is still hungry. Phayu is still annoyed with him.

#thanks to the doctor making me go to the nurse this summer and putting me on a 'diet' #WHEN THE NURSE HERSELF SAID I SHOULDNT BE TOO CONCERNED ABT MY WEIGHT bc im young and i shouldnt worry about this #and now my mom wont. stop. making. comments. on what i eat and the excercise i dont do #and the way i eat and when i eat #and its finally eaten at my brain. and now i think about it constantly #and i wanna make it stop bc i cant fucking believe that i didnt listen to her at all when i was at my most vulnerable (a teenager) #but her words have had their effect when i am/should be more ok w myself (not a teenager anymore) #like genuinely how do i stop making myself feel like this and think about this all the time i feel disgusting. i dont enjoy eating anymore #bc im constantly thinking about /not/ eating. or how i shouldnt be eating. or that i shouldnt be hungry #z xarre #AAAAAAANNDDDD i have to go to the n*rse next month to get weighed. and i already know that ill have gained weight. bc at the dorms #i cant like. follow the diet they gave me or whatever. and i eat more and im also hungrier. its so hard to think of eating #as something enjoyable now. literally wanna kms ive never been like this. we've always enjoyed food in my family #bc its the main way we connect and i can connect w my family and my ancestors and my culture. #and i dont wanna stop enjoying food. but the nurse and doctor AND MY MOTHER are making this so hard. #ed mention #weight mention

So after my first dose of Fentanyl (given for my surgery), there was a mix up and I didn't have orders for Anything. The nurses were able to give my Tylenol and said they'd contact my doc abt the situation, but???? never managed to get ahold of him????? So I waited.

Eventually (after 4 hours) I started really hurting, so I called in a nurse, and was told I could have more Tylenol in two hours. I couldn't draw a deep breath and could barely move, but sure, I could wait, probably.

I lasted like 20 more minutes before I cried (which made it WORSE) lmao, I got an icepack to try to get me by for another hour and 40 minutes so I'd get Tylenol, nurses tried contacting my doctor again, nurse shift ended so I got a new nurse, I straight up stopped existing for a while bc hooooly fuck.

My tube leaked all over the place at one point and a nurse changed my bedding, I remember that! That was fun

Eventually ???? a nurse came in, gave me smth through my iv, and VWOOP surprise, it was Fentanyl again, thank fuck. She apologized a ton, and gifted me a cute pill crusher bc she heard I can't swallow pills and usually have to crush them 😭

Unfortunately, I tried to adjust my bed afterwards, and apparently hospital beds are actually stupid as shit and suddenly lurch into motion when you click the button. The movement yanked on my tube and I was right back to a 10 on the scale, couldn't talk at all, had to wait 45 minutes for fentanyl again. sigh

I still can't really talk tbh and I'm stuck in like, a permanent muscle spasm after the bed wrecked my shit, but I'm a human person again so that's nice

tldr; I've spent like ~5 hours at a 9 or 10 on the pain scale and I am EXHAUSTEDD but too uncomfy to sleep. I'm gonna have to get out of bed to use the bathroom at some point too but that sucks so much, I'd kind of rather hit myself in the face with a cactus.

Four horsemen

I was reminded today that the four horsemen of the apocalypse are a thing. And my brain is always in fluff around and find out mode, so I introduce to you:

The four horsemen of the anti-apocalypse.

First of we have Nurture. Nurture is a person that always has a smile for everyone, along with some freshly baked cookies. They are the person that wears an apron for fun, the one that cooks for the party, the one that always carries snacks and chocolate and tells you it will be ok.

We have Healing. Healing is the one that always carries bandaids and bandages and has taken more first aid classes than reasonable. They can fix you up easy peasy, they will make you tea and chicken soup when you are sick and they will do so happily.

We have Peace. Peace is the mediator, they calm people down, listen to both sides, negotiate what could be done better, Peace does anything to keep the calm and to make sure that no one does anything too rash. They have books with them often, and are the chillest person of the group.

And last we have Life. Life is the one that checks up on everyone, makes sure they're doing ok and still kicking. They make sure your mental health is a-ok, they wanna look out for you and for everyone else. They save small wounded animals and know more about poison and murder than would be normal if they didn't learn it for forensic psych, or out of boredom.

These can work both as primordial concepts, or as people of a friend group, and if you wanna make it extra cute, have the horsemen of the apocalypse fall for their counterparts.

Now that I'm hydrated and took one (1) Tylenol (so I don't have to skip a dose for 6 hours again to avoid potential Tylenol overdose symptoms) I feel honestly very slightly better than before I got my wisdom teeth out?? Like now I feel better with Tylenol than impacted wisdom teeth without Tylenol (impacted wisdom teeth with two Tylenol is better than either of those options, but I couldn't take Tylenol for six+ months straight)
