Fuck It Friday!

nobody tagged me but my hiatus is over and i finally have something to share so here we go baby <3

for my last fic of 2023 i'm gonna try and do what i've been wanting to do for a while now: a sequel to the backwards cap fic :3 shoutout to @bucksbackwardcap for encouraging me and fingers crossed i can get this done in time!

The second they stepped into the loft Eddie was pushing Buck up against the door. Their duffle bags fell out of their hands and to the floor, discarded. Eddie had been silent the entire ride home, had barely even looked at Buck the entire day. All because of a particular item of clothing Buck had chosen to wear today.

“I fucking told you not to wear those stupid hats at work,” Eddie growled, nipping at Buck’s pulse point. “You know what they do to me, baby. Talk about unfair.”

Buck laughed, pleased and breathless. “Maybe I wanted a reaction.”

“You always want a reaction,” Eddie murmured against Buck’s skin, grinning when Buck shivered. “You’re a goddamn brat.”

“Maybe,” Buck’s grin only lasted for a second more before Eddie was threading his fingers through his hair and bringing him down for a harsh kiss. Buck whimpered into Eddie’s mouth, pulling him closer by his shirt and grinding his hips against him. “Eddie, please,” He gasped in between kisses.

“All it took was thirty fucking seconds and you’re already begging, fuck,” Eddie groaned against Buck’s lips. “You’re a dream.”

Buck’s hips jerked at the praise and he let out a whine. “Eddie.”

- So I believe I've talked about this before but I believe his love languages are Words of Affirmation for receiving and Acts of Service giving.

- Primarily because I feel like he would be very insecure, and that really ties into both of the love languages.

- As for dates, he's hella private. Like just generally.

- So I think it would probably be like, more staying in and chilling dates.

- Like sharing a bottle of alcohol and talking about childhood trauma (so romantic).

- And thats also kinda the same thing for his physical affection.

- He's very private so he's definitely not gonna like make out with you in public.

- But he definitely likes holding your hand and kisses on the cheek/forehead.

- This is primarily because they're all short(ish) but still sweet

- In all, 7/10 boyfriend, he's still a bad hobo tho (laugh at my joke please 😭)

- So idk why but it's a little hard to pinpoint any specific love language for him. He genuinely seems like the kind of person who just likes to love people

- So in all honesty, he's chill with about anything.

- And that ties into dates too

- Wanna use your date to steal from people? Sure. Wanna have a picnic? Sure. Wanna party with everyone and then hide away at the end and just talk? Sounds great!

- He is almost completely the definition of going with the flow.

- As for pda, I again honestly don't really think he would care.

- like obviously no making out with you randomly, but holding hands and little pecks would be his definite strong suit.

- in all 9/10 boyfriend, idk what to say he's just kinda great.

- She's uhh... interesting?

- but regardless, I think her love language would be a mixture of acts of service and physical touch.

- Like it would be primarily just "oh you want that? Lemme steal it for you" *que gremlin planning stance*

- As for dates, I don't think she would really care about them?? Like just being around you is chill enough.

- But if I had to pick it would most likely be like parties.

after a literal half a year, I'm backkkkk

a brief summary of Everything That's Happened:

went to my first academic conference and got an award for my work (big yay!)

got covid on my way home from said conference and was out of commission for way too long (nay >.<)

fell even more in love with Eul and advertised it enough that my parents get concerned if i don't mention him at least once every couple of days (who knew we'd get here)

watched the untamed and had it take over my every waking thought (when wangxian said everyday i didn't think that would extend to me)

made my family watch the untamed and gave them brainrot (will be a separate post bc their reactions were too good not to share)

submitted two grad school fellowship applications (i'm SO tired)

got added to two new research projects in my lab (yay science!)

got hyped about upcoming QL shows and decided it was time to make a return to fandom

got re-obsessed with Beyond Evil (my favorite k-drama) and experienced emotions

i hope you are all doing well and i'm sending buckets of love to everyone <33333
