Hi! It's me again :3, I don't know (and remember) if anyone has asked this before but I would like to know:

How did OG!MK feel when he found out that SW is his father in another dimension (I feel like Mei would say something like "See? I told you he was your dad" or something)

If it happens before S4, I feel like Mk would be a little jealous of his other self seeing that he doesn't have the problem of not knowing who his biological parents.

(The idea occurred to me when I remembered a tiktok that said MK used any type of editing app to get an idea of what his parents would look like 🥲)

Think i did do a post like that ages ago, but only with an earlier draft of TMKATI and canon. Now I have like three more verses to torment MK with >:)

When the Canon verse and the other verses collide, the quickest thing the MKs would notice is their appearances.

OG!MK: "Whoa!! These me's are monkey demons!" TMKATI!MK: "And you guys are... human???" SlowBoiled!MK: "Yeah, why wouldn't him- I mean me be?" CenturyEgg!MK: "I don't know about you guys - but my parents are monkey demons. Then again my gūtā [dad's gender neutral older sibling] is human, I think???" JTTWEgg!MK: "My parents are monkey demons! The coolest monkey demons ever I may brag." TMKATI!MK: "Oh no way! My parents are monkey demons too! i have a bunch of adopted siblings though. Does your dad work with Bóbo[dad's older brother] Pigsy too?" CenturyEgg!MK: "No cus Uncle Pigsy and Tang lives in the city. We all live on Flower Fruit Mountain - but we visit as often as possible! Uncle Sandy ferries us across all the time." :3 OG!MK: "Wow!! You two live on the mountain!? What's it like?" JTTWEgg!MK, shrugging: "It's cool." CenturyEgg!MK: "Sometimes feel pressured by my role as Heir to the Stone Throne - but I wouldn't trade it for the world. I really don't like having to visit the Celestial Realm though. The nobles are kinda mean about my dad cus he caused a bunch of havoc a long time ago." The Other MKs: "wut" OG!MK: "Uh... Please explain who your parents are?" CenturyEgg!MK, confused by their confusion: "Sun Wukong the Monkey King, and Liu'er Mihou the Sage of Wind??? I thought you guys were too???" JTTWEgg!MK: "Yeah, mine are too. I thought you guys knew??" SlowBoiled!MK: "No- well kind- it's complicated! Ok!?" TMKATI!MK: "Not me. My parents are normal monkey demons, dude." OG!MK: "Oh my gods the Monkey King *is* our dad in another universe! Mei is never gonna let me forget this!" CenturyEgg!MK: "Well techinically he's my mom too so..." The Other MKs: "lol wat?" JTTWEgg!MK: "lol same."

The different MKs collaborate to tell stories about themselves (and get a solid PSA on Stone Eggs) while their respective Meis are snapping photos with eachother.

The different monkeys watch on nervously. The different monkey kings are sitting politely as their Macaques hiss at eachother from across the room.

OG!SWK: "So uh... did you tell him yet?" Other Monkeys: "Tell him what?" SlowBoiled!SWK: "About him being made by Nuwa, or the fact that we were forced to abandon him?" The CenturyEgg and TMKATI monkeys: "What." TMKATI!SWK, laughing nervously: "What? Oh gods no. I thought you guys meant telling him who we are!" The Other Monkeys: "Wut" CenturyEgg!SWK: "Your MK doesn't know that you guys are... Us?" TMKATI!LEM: "Nah, we've sorta been off-the-grid ever since genius here [thumb-points at his SWK] got me pregnant with our MK." The Stone Egg au SWKs: "Hah!" "Uno reverse card, plums!" Stone Egg LEMs: *all three have varying looks of horror, indignance, and bashfulness* SlowBoiled!LEM: "I said I was sorry!" OG!LEM: "Wait... what do you mean by sorry?" SlowBoiled!LEM, looking uncomfortable: "Cus of our uh... fight under the Mountain, and me not returning to feed him, I sorta caused Wukong's body to create a Stone Egg... and then I sorta died before I found out so..." JTTWEgg!LEM: "Ooof. Glad I learned early then." CenturyEgg!SWK, to his SlowBoiled counterpart: "Oh bummer, you got left with Stone Egg all the way back then? I started up the process willingly after I had to seal away DBK. When was the little guy born?" SlowBoiled!SWK: "Little lady actually. Yuebei was born about six months ago. Our MK was crafted by Nuwa - then again I did raise him the first year until I became too weak to care for him..." *looks sad* TMKATI and CenturyEgg monkeys: "Oh no..." :( "Stone eggs are super dangerous to the people around them. I don't blame you." JTTWEgg!SWK: "Odd. I got an Egg from the mountain too - but mine was born shortly after I completed the Journey. And mine was our MK. Did losing Mihou make the process longer??" OG Monkeys: "What?" "How many of you have MK as your kid!?" (*Cue them having to make a Venn Diagram of Whos' MK is What to Whom*) OG!SWK: "Ok so! Mine and the guy with the super-adorbs baby got our MKs dumped on us." SlowBoiled Monkeys: *proudly showing photos of their Yuebei* OG!LEM: "The me in sweatpants had him cus of a comet /slash/ stone egg soul mishap." TMKATI!LEM: "Oh, my Wukong was still responsible there. He sealed the Harbringer's soul inside me after using a sealing spell. TMKATI!SWK: "I panicked, ok!" OG!SWK, pointing at the remaining universes: "Annnd you two literally birthed him yourselves." CenturyEgg and JttwEgg SWKs: "Yup." "Stone shell and all." OG!SWK: "...is there anything else I'm missing?" The other universes: (*scratching their chins in thought*) SlowBoiled!LEM, slyly: "So are you guys back together yet, or what?" OG Monkeys: "What!?" "As if!"

Laughter just erupts around the room as the canon shadowpeach pairing realises that they're the odd ones out as *not* being together.

Complete and utter chaos reigns when the parent and MK groups reunite, and they recognise some sort of connection...

Thank you for your concern! My carpal tunnel has been approving somewhat these last few weeks! Hopefully I'll be able to find some free time this weekend while I'm off to knock down some of this list.

Also if you do happen to send in an idea similar to someone else's; don't worry too much about it because I don't mind, I like the challenge~ Duplicates give me the opportunity to try out different ideas that I may have for a single plot/theme.

Btw sorry about not really posting anything these last few weeks... I kinda forgot to pay my wifi bill so I didn't really have internet for awhile until I got paid again... Anyways—

Macaque 💜

First..confusion. where the heck did this child come from and why is it staring at him- someone get it away please-

Definitely would deny the idea of having a little sibling. Is he ashamed of them? No way. But he can't have anyone thinking he's soft now can he?

Might also deny it because he refuses to acknowledge that he is role model worthy enough for you to consider him your big brother

Protective? How many scoops of that do you want cause we've got a fuck ton. More casual about it though tbh. What? No he wasn't making sure they didn't fall off the ledge or anything- he was just bored and curious if this "random" dumb kid was gonna get hurt-

If you call him big brother to his face he might freeze a bit, trying to process everything you've just said-

But if you repeat it to clarify he wasn't imagining that, and you really did call him big brother..he might grab you and start inspecting you. "Where did your brains go kid-...did you...lose a portion of it?"

Really he's extremely flattered just also confused

All in all, is he a perfect role model brother? No...far from it. But Is he a good brother? He's definitely trying that's for sure.

The older brother who scolds you for damaging someone's property with toilet paper and gives you an egg carton instead

Wants to hide you from things or people that may hurt you ofc so get used to randomly being dragged into shadow portals or hidden behind a wall while he waits for someone to leave

If you dressed up like him- his heart- wtf how dare you do this- (definitely refers to you as mini him if asked about this in public)

All in all, is he the perfect role model brother? No. But is he a good brother? He doesn't think so but it's clear he's really trying

Wukong🧡

Honestly it was probably the baby monkeys or just the monkeys of FFM that caused him to find you.

Immediately panicked because he does NOT know how to care for human children. Monkey kids? Easy peasy. But humans? Different story.

Had to come clean to MK because...THIS MAN NEEDS HELP. Did it deflate his giant ego? A little bit. But it definitely stung more to know his Attempts to care for you had been..not great?

He could have asked you, which you tried to point out several times that you needed something or that he was doing something wrong, but this sturrbon monkey refused to listen

Not great at scolding you. I mean..have you seen the hijinks this man got up to?

Only time he will shut down a prank..is hardly ever. More likely tells you how to improve your prank. (By making it worse for everyone involved)

When you called him big brother he may have shed a few tears, he was stunned but at the same time thought it was the cutest thing ever

Definitely bragged about it to the hero crew, and ignored every eye roll or comment he received about it that wasn't praise.

HE! THE MONKEY KING! IS THIS CUTE CHILD'S BIG BROTHER! AND HE WILL BE THE BEST ONE EVER DO YOU HEAR ME!?!

Might be accidentally clingy when concerned how dare you worry him like that-

Only probably tells the main crew about you since he may need them to watch you when he's training MK-

If a demon lays their mitts on you so help him-

Probably gets chided by pigsy or even MK about a few things he shouldn't influence you to do-...not happy about it..but he takes their advice......sometimes.

Hello, saw your oc Jiāng Bái, and was wondering what is his story ?

You have no idea how happy this ask made me when I first saw it in the notifs.

He's from Flower Fruit Mountain. His parents, however, left the island with him when he was 2 years old. (Though he never really felt at home anywhere else and always wanted to go back to FFM)

His parents traveled across the continent, and even when Jiāng Bái was all grown up (jokes aside, Bái is still a child), did he still stick with them. He learned during this time the spell of invisibility and how to use glamours from a kind old goat demon lady.

Bái would always sneak into small towns to steal some fruits from markets for his family. Usually, he used his invisibility spell, but during night, he thought the darkness would keep him hidden enough.

Little did he know that his white fur really stood out, and words about a long tailed monkey being seen got around.

But one day, a few years before DBK was freed, Jiāng Bái sneaked into a small town to grab some food from a market. His parents waited in a nearby old house, like always. When he returned, his parents were gone, only patches of fur and scratch marks were scattered all over the floor. The "young" demon dropped the food and used his invisibility spell to flee the scene immediately. Confused and shocked.

After a few weeks, he decided to go back to FFM. But he didn't know where to go since he was too young when his parents left the island with him. He only was able to find it when he heard of the Monkie Kid. He was able to find the city, and traveled around in it using his glamours until he found the shop called Pigsy's Noodles.

So he went to the shop, glamour on, and ordered some dumplings. Pigsy found it to be suspicious that a child alone would be there but say or do anything. Bái, in the meantime, sits on the table for hours and plays with his ball, his stim toy.

That is, until it's closing time for the shop and all customers left.

The demon walks up to the Monkie Kid and drops his glamours and explains his situation. MK contacts Wukong. But since Wukong doesn't really trust this, Jiāng Bái is supposed to stick to MK and prove he's trustworthy. They become friends and after a month, Jiāng Bái is allowed to go to FFM. He immediately feels at home, a feeling he was missing. Every now and then he watches the training between Wukong and MK and joins in. He also spends lots of time with Wukong, and especially lots of time with MK.

At this point, MK became something like an older sibling to Bái.

Do you think that Mei got nervous at first about turning into a dragon around Mk? Like the illusion she summons and actually turning into it are two different things.

Now imagine Mk at the same time worrying that Mei will be scared of him if he accidentally goes war-form. Both kids are awkwardly trying to protect the other from their true forms while Mac and Wukong try and figure out what’s wrong without asking directly

Bonus points if Nezha knows since both siblings went to confide in him

First of all: I don’t mind answering your asks!!! I love reading them and they definitely help with world building + characterization!! I love’em

Mei was pretty nervous when she started showing signs of turning into a dragon, actually. She was well aware that it’d eventually happen, after all her family made it quite clear that their family history revolved around dragons and it was supposed to be a very important part of her life but—things changed when she moved out and started living with MK. Less expectations and more freedom and it helped so much when Wukong and Nezha finally let her in, helping her through the steps from what they could remember of their travels.

But there’s some fear, yes. Not that Mk would think it’s freaky—he’s sparred against her and witnessed her dragon aura several times in their life, it even activates when she rides her bike! It’s more… “what if I hurt him?” Because although she’d never try to hurt her best friend, MK’s still human at some extent, and she knows how much Wukong and Nezha hold back when fighting against him. So it’s a fear—more so I imagine it’s a situation where she tries and forces her body to remain the same, no fangs nor horns nor dragon eyes to be seen—just human. That’s perfect, isn’t it?

Now MK—upon learning of Wukong’s war form, the lad had different reactions: excitement and fear. Excitement because it meant that he’d be capable of doing more to protect his fiends! The fact that he could live up to Wukong’s nonexistent expectations! He was going to be better and; fear because oh Gods What If I Lose Control (spoilers: he does)

Now Nezha learning of these two’s worries is a little.. funny to him. He’s sitting in bed and Xiaojiao knocks and she blurts out her concerns and he just, blinks at her and says, “We’ll figure it out, somehow.” And then when MK says his own struggles, he just repeats himself. He reassures them both but be mindful that this is Nezha’s first time being an older brother to two young adults and he just s w e a t s at the idea of giving proper advice.

That’s Wukong’s job!

Now for Macaque and Wukong… well they’re both aware that something’s off with the two of them.

But they’re quite bad at approaching them about it. Because they don’t know what the fuck’s wrong with the mortals.

School struggle? Financial issues? Body questions? Macaque refuses to think about the last one and Wukong’s so damn sure that they were both passing their classes but, h, you know?

It comes to bite them all back, though. Sad.

Summary: Coraline AU: Xiaotian meets his stalker's bestie.

The minute the door to Pigsy and Tang’s apartment closed, Xiaotian whispered “Danger?”

Yeah, right. The only danger here was dying of boredom. He headed up the stairs, finding that the surrounding landscape had been blanketed in mist. Xiaotian made a face at the added greyness but started to walk.

He pretended to not see the figure sulking through the mist around him. Xiaotian kept an even pace and waited until they were right next to each other. Then he lunged out and grabbed, yanking them up and pushing that ridiculous helmet up. “Great, the village-”

He froze when he was eye to eye with a boy.

“You aren’t Xiaojiao.” he couldn’t help but say numbly.

“No, I’m not.” The boy pushed him away. “I’m Red and I was just here looking for my toolbox.” He straightened, brushing off his coat and crossing his arms when he was done. “You must be MK, Xiaojiao’s new friend.”

“More like the guy she stalked through the woods,” Xiaotian said, following Red. He wasn’t sure why. Maybe because he had nothing better to do. “And the one she gave a creepy doll to.”

Red hummed before a grin spread across his face. He reached into the mist and pulled out nothing. His smile faded to be replaced by disappointment. “Oh, yeah. She mentioned the whole well thing. My apologies for that.” He paused, looking nervous. “She can be a bit...much at times, but she is quite genuine when she said she wanted to be friends.”

“Is giving people creepy mini-thems part of that?”

“That...I have no idea what that was about.” Red frowned. “We were going through her attic when we found it and she said she knew who would love it and ran off before I could say anything.” Xiaotian opened his mouth. “And before you ask, no, we didn’t make it look like-”

Neither of them noticed another figure creep up to them.

“HEY, BESTIES!” The two boys screamed, nearly jumping a foot in the air. Xiaojiao pushed up her mask and revealed her grin. “What are we talking about?”

“You.”

“Great.”

“How fun!” Xiaojiao stood up straight, revealing she held the weird blue cat. “So, MK-”

“Xiaotian.”

“Did you like your present?” She looked so happy and that, for a moment, he felt bad for complaining about her. “We found it and it looked just like you! So I figured it would make a nice ‘welcome to the neighborhood’ present!” The cat scrambled out of her hold and onto her shoulder, jumping over to Red. Xiaotian scoffed.

“That cat’s not wild.”

“He hates getting his feet wet!” Red defended, crossing his arms and ignoring how the cat had started to groom his wild red hair. “Anyway, we found the doll like that. It’s older than Xiaojiao’s grandfather.”

“Probably as old as this house.”

Xiaotian blinked at the clear lie. “Come on. Brown hair in a red headband, orange raincoat, and my shoes?” Xiaojiao shrugged as Red let out a happy cry. He reached into the mist, the cat hopping onto the car to avoid the mist, to pull out a small red toolbox. He blinked as he popped it open. “Uh…”

“He left it behind when we were exploring.”

“...the house?” Okay, that meant that their apartment probably wasn’t secure if these two could break-in. It was something he should bring up to his dad. If Wukong would even give him more than a minute of attention...

Then she shook her head. “No. We aren’t allowed inside the house.”

Xiaotian blinked again. “Your family owns it and you’re not allowed inside?”

The two shook their heads. “Some old rule from Xiaojiao’s grandfather,” Red explained as he shut the toolbox, clearly satisfied with whatever was inside. “Kids aren’t allowed. I’m honestly surprised your family was allowed to rent the apartment at all. If we went inside, my parents would kill us.”

“Why?”

Xiaojiao shrugged. “Something about his sibling disappearing back when they lived in the house and he got convinced it was dangerous.” There it was again, the danger word. Xiaotian didn’t have a moment to puzzle over that before she continued. “Something about them being...stolen.”

They didn’t notice the cat watching before his ears pricked up. Glancing over his shoulder, he made eye contact with the doll watching from the window.

“Stolen?”

“Yeah, he was convinced that they were stolen even though all the evidence pointed to them just running away.” Xiaojiao looked non-plussed at the admittance even though Red looked nervous again. “Anyway, we should get going. Like Red said, his parents would kill us if they knew we were this close to the house. See ya around, bestie!”

Before he could stop them, she had grabbed her friend’s hand and was dragging them away.

They disappeared into the mist, leaving Xiaotian confused and worse…

Scared.
