High School! Zukaang - Valentine's Day

Zuko decided to give him chocolates for the day, he's just coming to terms with his feelings for him, but... Aang's locker is full of candy and gifts.

Every time he gets a chance to give him the chocolates, someone interrupts them with a bigger and flashier gift for Aang. This makes him more and more upset.

At the end of the day, he hasn't given him the chocolates and Aang has bags full of gifts. Zuko no longer wants to give Aang the chocolates because he accidentally ruined them because he was upset.

When Zuko wants to go on his way, Aang stops him and hands him some homemade chocolates, he too has wanted to deliver him chocolates all this time. Surprised and excited, he also hands the chocolates to Aang and he eats them, realizing that they are the first chocolates Aang has eaten even though he has many.

After that, both of them promise what gift they will give to the other on the White Day.

that's to assume that saria isn't loaded with money, and i think that she would buy them the day before or during valentines directly without much thought of how she much she spent. silence however would wait but also saria doesn't seem to be a very chocolate person so a good bunch of those will go to ifrit

this is a great question, so here is my Very Overconsidered answer.

if it were up to roman to greenlight a project abt eds there's definitely a world where he would just blurt out uh.... nope! no. bad idea. don't like it. and refuse to elaborate (and then think abt it all the time and steal a copy of the script and read over it and imagine himself in it etc etc etc)

but assuming it gets greenlit at, like, a waystar subsidiary* and roman becomes aware of it (presumably through accidentally reading a work email) i think outwardly he'd be like wow another story abt a sad girl whos also fuckable,,, when do we get our peabody,,, and making the shittiest possible jokes abt it, but i also dont think roman would be able to stop himself from showing up on set all the time and like tracking all the revisions in the script and making impromptu visits to the makeup trailer to the point where people are like is he going to fire us all?? is this some roy mind game?? is he fucking someone in the cast?? and he would be paranoid it looked suspicious but wouldnt be able to stay away. maybe he blurts out something super incriminating in a notes session (then avoids eye contact with everyone who heard him say it for the rest of forever.)

*insofar as there are three types of ed movies: shitty tv, docu, and offbeat sad indie, i'd assume waystar is making the latter kind bc iirc shiv mentions that they have an indie production company

okay so BASICALLY my theory is that there was originally a trio of goddesses - the sun, the moon, and the stars. as aster and lunadeyis are to the land and sea, the third had taken the sky.

(this is, in part, why the sun city is suspended in the sky - it used to be a community dedicated to the star goddess, and a nearby island was aster's, but the community was decimated and the island was flooded. this is a thought for another time though.)

there's also the fact that the prophecy is a hero born of moonlight, storm, and sea - two elements pretty clearly attributed to lunadeyis, and the third sort of... toeing the line of aster's. however, in the sun temple's interpretation of the prophecy, this champion is first chosen by aster, then basically approved by lunadeyis.

storm feels very out of place here. aster and her followers are known for being very rigid about rules and specific rituals, following certain practices. closer to black and white. contrasting that, luna and her followers are Much more relaxed, and are far more forgiving. neither really align with the storm element of the prophecy .. blinks slowly

it's also minorly important to remember this is first and foremost a conflict between lunadeyis and aster, one between sea and land. so. clearly this third goddess won't need too much sway in its outcome.

now. why would a third goddess exist in the first place? she has no stake in the happenings of mana - none of the people living there have anything to Do with the sky.

but. the black.. ooze. the egg.

what would anyone else have to gain from a corruption sweeping over land and sea?

i don't think lunadeyis would have anything to do with some other force taking over part of her precious ocean. i doubt that after the establishment of the prophecy aster would be so bold as to make a direct attack, either - and very much not one that doesn't do anything to convert it from sea to land.

you wish on shooting stars for luck. that place they ended up during the final voyage asked what their desires were. it's darkness, the kind that corrupts.

and a third goddess may be vying for power.

Kelbrey Week - Day 6 - Valentine's Day

"Happy Valentine's Day guys!!!" Kel says cheerfully as he starts pulling out small boxes of chocolate and hands it to his friends. Each of them tied with a ribbon, with a color that he associated with them. "I got one for each of you, and for your favorite kinds of chocolate too!!" Kel said, as he hands one to Basil. "Awww, Kel, you shouldn't have!" Basil smiles, as Sunny takes his box from Kel. Kel grinned proudly, but then glanced over at Aubrey. "Oh, and Aubrey! As for youu-" Aubrey had been only half paying attention to what was happening, trying not to think too hard about today and what Kel was doing. She looked over at him and sighed. "Kel, you know I'm not supposed t-" "I know!" Kel responded, still with a smile, as he rummaged through his bag again, "I know you're not supposed to have too many sweets! Sooo!" He pulled out a single Valentine's themed chocolate bar, with a small pink heart stickered on it. "I got you a smaller chocolate bar! I saw this at Othermart and thought it'd be perfect! It's dark chocolate, too! Your favorite!" Kel exclaimed, grinning widely at Aubrey as he hands it to her.

Aubrey was completely in shock at this. Her face was flushed pink, and she struggled to find words to say; even as she tried to think of a witty comment, she drew a blank. She then simply huffed and took the chocolate bar. "...Thanks, Kel." Kel put his hands in his pockets and smiled proudly, "No problem!" Aubrey stared at the bar for a moment. "...You do know I don't have anything to give right now, right?" Kel shrugged, "Didn't expect ya to! None of you have to give me anything, I just wanted to give you all a little treat on this special day!" He chuckled lightly. "Thank you, Kel. That's so sweet of you!" Hero said gratefully. Aubrey stared at the candy bar once again, thinking deeply. "Yeah... Sure is."

@kelbreyweek Okay soooo I might've gone a LITTLE overboard with this one– I had an entire scene in my head!!! I had to write it down!! And then I had this fun idea with the drawing where I separate it the way I did! With the silly borders and everything!!! Makes sense, since this is gonna be my last installment, I have no more ideas and my inspiration juice has run dry :[ But it was SO FUN while it lasted :D

After this moment, Aubrey opens the chocolate bar and finds that it's engraved with the words "I LOVE YOU" into the chocolate itself. Aubrey is flustered as all hell, but of course Kel was not aware of this (he quite literally just saw it on the shelf, read that it was dark chocolate, and nabbed it-)

After a little bit, Aubrey stops by Othermart to find something to give Kel, cuz she feels he deserves to get something back regardless what he said! Then she saw this little brown and orange teddy bear and just immediately thought, "...That's Kel." and got it <3333

Just an FYI, you can be allergic to lactose/dairy which is different to intolerant. Intolerant is just one body system reacting. Like stomach issues with dairy is an intolerance. If you're having more than one body system reaction, stomach issues and respiratory (throat tightening) or other swelling or itching like you're describing you're likely having a "true" allergy. I highly recommend being seen just to be safe, but if all else avoid dairy just to be safe.

nono you see, when i was little i had like. An actual severe allergic reaction to stuff w dairy so i did get checked up for that

and as time passed it got less severe i guess? cause now while i do get symptoms theyre definitely just milk like my stomach hurts a bit, my throat gets a little closed up, and my lips itch. Like. I CAN have stuff with dairy on it. Just, most of the time those symptoms happen but im fine after a day.

Ive just always thought being allergic to dairy and being lactose intolerant was the same thing
