Kurusu Kazuki

28 years old, assassin

Lives with his colleague and buddy Rei, and looks after his daily needs. When working with Rei, his responsibilities are mostly arranging the contract, gathering intel in advance, and setting up the plan for execution. Excellent communication skills. Fond of women and gambling. Good at cooking and cleaning, and periodically chides Rei for his sloppy lifestyle. Was married in the past, and his wife was pregnant, but she died as a result of some shady business dealings.

Suwa Rei

25 years old, assassin

A man of few words. Usually doesn't even bat an eye when Kazuki comes staggering home. Outstanding physical ability; at the top of the field in hand-to-hand combat and marksmanship. There is a drastic contrast between his ON (professional) and OFF (private) modes - at home, he just shuts himself in and plays games. Born into a large mob family, he received special assassin training from his parents ever since his childhood. Unable to escape the conflicts in his family, he has no understanding of normal parent-child relationships.

Unasaka Miri

4 years old

A truly lively, innocent girl with absolutely no fear. Her father is a prominent human trafficker and a mafia boss. Her mother is the boss's lover. She showed up at a hotel in search of her father, and got caught up in a gunfight, but was rescued by Kazuki. An affectionate child, she calls Kazuki "Kazuki-papa", and Rei "Rei-papa".

Kugi Kyutaro

32 years old, cafe owner

A go-between who coordinates jobs for Kazuki and Rei. Usually puts on a friendly demeanour as the owner of the cafe “Mistletoe”. Keenly perceptive, and remarkably well-informed. Knows a lot about Kazuki and Rei's pasts, but for some reason, has never intervened, and keeps their relationship squarely within the limits of a business transaction. Generally acts like a kind older brother, but when a job goes wrong, will also readily discard all that to be completely businesslike. A reliable partner to Kazuki and Rei, but keeps them on their toes.

Audrey goes on a date and the Ink Demon gets super jealous and tries to scare them off. Sees Audrey in a dress and gets heart eyes

Audrey living a double life in the ink world and the real world, which I feel will eventually seep into the real world as a "Toon Town," would be interesting.

Ink Demon would play off as Bendy to the date. Very charming. Very sweet. Very cute. And when Audrey isn't looking, he'd traumatize the poor fella. Why? Because he's a freakin' demon.

Ink Demon sees Audrey talking about her prospective date and feels her excitement that it makes her glow somehow. He likes it. He makes no note of it. It shouldn't matter to him.

But he is a demon, so seeing her in an flattering dress does make him go...a little googly, heart eyed.

Also I know I’m looking too much into this and it could honestly be nothing. However if you do analyze the entire situation and Ryan’s behavior, that caption does not really make sense. New life in regards to his own personal life? What’s happening? Is his wife pregnant again, are they moving somewhere, what’s going on for him to randomly make that post and caption it “new life.” If you consider the previous ones where he mentions “turning points”, it just doesn’t really add up to his own life unless he’s just being weird. And even if he is being weird, why establish a specific pattern where it’s easy to uncover it as that and not coincidental? He could’ve posted those photos anytime of the week but he chose a specific day right before an episode is set to air. So like idk but if you consider the turning point photos and how his character’s storyline is developing, it makes more sense for him to be referring to the show than his own personal life. Again idk but just me making some observations.

This somehow came out while I was answering/sending birthday asks, but I guess Naoto knows a bit of French. There are a number of French crime/detective fiction novels and of course, Mr. Arsène Lupin, who Naoto enjoys reading about. Her grandfather has copies of these books in French and English, possibly Japanese if a translation was made.

She either referenced the French and English or Japanese versions side by side, or used a French-to-English/Japanese dictionary to help her. When she was a bit older, she owned a basic book on learning French.

Since she doesn't use it as frequently as Mandarin or Korean, she's not the most fluent when it comes to speaking—and she might use outdated words since these books are all old—but she can understand when someone speaks to her in French. Her reading skills are pretty good, too.

(Her grandfather can absolutely speak it, though. And no, she is not half French.)

I dreamt I was trying to befriend (or create a story about befriending) Dream of the Endless, and the gift I made for him was a full face Venetian Carnivale style mask, with white crackle base and golden filigree details.

I know I went to sleep thinking about finding him on the park when he's feeding pigeons, brooding, and offering him a to-go cup of chamomile tea. When he looks up, bewildered that I've noticed him, and that I'm trying to hand him a cup of tea, I offer him the alternative of the chai with milk and honey I got for myself, if he'd rather. He remains bewildered.

I have not written this fanfic out (self-insert or otherwise), but I was not expecting it would turn into a whole ass dream about crafting drama masks for the Prince of Stories.

Now I'm poking around Google looking for DIY crackle finish recipes. (Turns out, Elmers basic glue does it. Huh.)
