ooooobliiiiigaaatory sso post because new dark rider design dropped! erissa (not sure why they didnt just keep elise or change it to eris? but that's ok!), the remake of chiyo, just dropped, and... she's white! interesting. there were a lot of ways sso could've saved the dark riders fumbles. there were a LOT of those fumbles, but the one i hammered on the hardest was chiyo, because i myself am japanese, and immediately know a bad design when i see one. likewise, i'm pretty spot on with calling how that character will most likely be written, and can make a few good solid guesses. i will say, i feel lots more in common with sabine, and am against the way they designed someone i could relate to and then painted them staunchly as a villain; likewise with all the dark riders, this may be sso's most diverse group yet, and they are villains. HOWEVER. at that point, they had already put them in-game, and now all i can hope for is some good old fashioned childhood "everything ends up fine" writing that shows these characters some love and perhaps sways them from their homocidal ways.

back to erissa.

why was chiyo's design racist? well, it wasn't just her. most of the dark riders were handled poorly. to be honest, i've talked SO much on this blog about why chiyo was such a bad design that i simply don't want to rehash it. was it the worst i'd ever seen? no. but putting in those stereotypes to a game children -- WHITE children -- play is like teaching children to hit bees nests for fun. it's pointless and hurtful to everyone.

SO: what do i think of erissa? she's cute! i like this design way better than the last.

that's it. whole idea. i think the colors are more comprehensive, i like the crochet details, i think the hobby horse looks a little silly but i kinda like it. overall, i am happy.

now you're probably wondering, "what, so sso can't make non white villains!?" and the answer to that is 1. don't be stupid and 2. of course they can. but they better put just as much effort into the rest of sso. they don't, though. our only buff woman is alex, who barely counts because she's kinda small as fuck in game. that leaves Sabine, who's more buff. her character is nonwhite, visibly has arm hair, and until proven otherwise, is nonhuman. not only that, she's evil. that sends some pretty strong messages, and, side tangent, but to anyone too goofy or too stubborn to see how that's a problem, i'm excited to see how the children in YOUR family turn out, be it yours or other family member's. will YOU teach them what racism is and why it exists and the complexities of it that people scoff at that allow it to continue to exist day in and day out, or will you let them play all the other games that DONT revise their writing, where the good characters are straight and white and every other type of "normal" and the enemies are gay or nonwhite or both? anyway. i hope you see my point.

"children will experience this stuff ANYWAY!" sure. why add to it?

"oh, so you're pulling a save the children thing? so what, you want everyone to be th3 same?" no. i want them to take chiyo's design, make her clothes look better, make her default state not like a mouse, and put her in the game as sso's like. only japanese character. i'd fucking love that! do you know how little representation there is for weird japanese girls? we dont got dick or shit. it'd be so fun to have a slightly redesigned chiyo as an npc, i'd totally fucking adore that! different clothes bc i think her past design was a little. ourgh. it'd be fun and cool if they made her like, a budding emo? omg that'd resonate with so many people i'm sure, and the purple hair is already suited to it. black hair would also be cool, though. do you see what im saying here, though? context is everything. im sad sabine is a bad guy. im sad every white girl who plays this game gets someone to relate to. i guess i too really relate to and like anne, but that's where the similarities end. it's easy to say "why does race matter?" in a sea of white people if you're white, but it can get lonely playing any video game if you're not white. sso is one of the best games ive found in terms of trying to really add diversity (although im still waiting for updated fat npcs), and that's why i weighed in so heavily. it matters to me. i love this game. i think they've done so much good with it recently, i'm really just beyond impressed and in love.

i think erissa is a good design.

How Azumanga Daioh tells the difference between the "Old Web" and "Modern Internet"

a content warning for mentions of rape, pedophilia, and ableism (well, better safe than sorry!)

i had an entire thing written before this, but i decided to scrap it for when spacehey comes back online

so, the old web. we know what it is, we know how we see it, geocities, crunchy gifs, flashes and whatever. but have you ever seen the difference between its societies scattered across websites whether it be an imageboard, geocity, or forum against our discorded societies on major social media platforms?

a while back, i had begun watching azumanga daioh as a result of a sudden reinterest in the anime in this decade. this reminded me of how prevalent anime was on the internet as a whole 2 decades ago (and more or less, azumanga's iron grip on anons and lurkers alike), which led me to searching for how different this era was with memes.

memes, or a fad, wasn't very accessible as they are today, while some could be laughed at as an outsider (think awesome face, shoop da whoop, nyan cat, impact font memes), memes outside of the public conscious were mostly inside jokes spawned from forums like something awful or imageboards like 2chan or 4chan.

out of those many, azumanga was one of the more popular ones. think about it, funny teenagers do funny things and combine that with a major love from anime communities, you get things like these:

now what i've noticed about these memes from pre-2010 is their inside joke nature. ask the modern user what a sticky is or why they think osaka is pretending to be a nazi, they wouldn't know or be a bit offput. plus using kaorin's little lesbian crushing on sakaki to project their straight love for sakaki would probably be looked down upon now but that was just normal. if you couldn't handle it then it was either hit the road or deal with it.

you can probably guess that kimura was probably the most relatable character ever in those days, don't even get me started on the normalization of pedophile/rape jokes back then.

now that's fun and all, but how about nowadays? we no longer have a scattered culture, everyone is using one single site for entertainment and posting, and all of the forums and imageboards have been designated a hazard zone as their users have mutated into despicable folks that have been shunned away to the point where they seem more depraved than their past. AKA, they no longer care for relating over a character or talking about a show, they'd rather argue about their nitpicks of a specific character or show and just skulk on what used to be a thriving community. well, nowadays it seems you don't need to be part of a specific community anymore, just see a meme and laugh without any context. with azumanga's revival in interest, this has sort of spawned what i like to call "azumanga autism memes" (TO CLARIFY: I AM AUTISTIC, FEEL FREE TO MAKE UP YOUR OWN NAME IF MINE DOESN'T SOUND RIGHT!). as they've mostly just become the most nonsensical and silly images ever, you practically don't need to watch the show to understand because its so disconnected from the source material it's like a cup of coffee, just pick it up and have a taste.

some examples:

notice anything? suddenly, osaka takes the center stage! with exception to the one chiyo image, osaka has become the face of azumanga as the modern internet knows it. compare that to how every character had about the same love through different edits in the old web, and it seems that most people would think that osaka is the main character of azumanga instead of the multiple characters' stories spread through the series. this has seemed to piss off many a gatekeeper, who are mad that this series is only gaining interest because of one character and her vague memes. to which i believe gatekeeping such a building block of the internet like azumanga is like trying to defend an unstable shack, it's useless.

so, what can we tell from the differences between ye olde and the new? to cut to the chase, the old web's fad culture was built from inside jokes outside of the "webcore/y2k-integrated" memes used for aesthetics. and nowadays people have publicized memes to a point where context is thrown from the picture and anyone can enjoy a meme instead of enjoying its source.

which is better? i can't tell you, you don't see much enjoyability and genuine appreciation in editing in today's memes than you did with old fads (you have to make people laugh, lest you be banished to the "reddit" label hell) but the normalization of taboo topics like racism, rape, and ableism should definitely be left behind in the old. it's just personal preference, really.

Quick thought about old female characters in Valkyrie Connect

While playing Noel The Mortal Fate, I came across this incredible old woman character named Coffin Neris.

I love her so much that she makes me think about middle-aged+ female characters in the media.

I scratched my head and came up with the following short list of old lady characters I've known and liked.

Queen Clarisse Renaldi from The Princess Diaries

Professor Minerva McGonagall from Harry Potter

All The Golden Girls main characters

Gramma Tala from Moana

Gabai Granny from Saga no Gabai Baachan

Mamá Coco from Coco

Kaede from Inuyasha

Yubaba from Spirited Away

Witch of the Waste and Madam Suliman from Howl's Moving Castle

Mrs. Orange from Okami

Cologne from Ranma 1/2

Chiyo from Naruto Shippuden

Pinako Rockbell from Fullmetal Alchemist

Torogai from Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit

Now let's see how many old women there are in my forever obsession, Valkyrie Connect.

Despite their youthful appearance, Ipsum and Mimir appear to be the only 2 characters who, in my opinion, can fit into the category (I do not count in the collab characters, only the original characters). One claims to be "the eldest elf alive," and both are acquainted with Bor and existed before Lord Odin was born.

Some notable female characters who may be mature but have not reached the age that can be considered truly old - the criteria I'm looking for, are:

Skadi, Freya, Frigg, Vili, Lodur, Jord, Gefion, Yvette, Crimi, Melveryn...

As for Eostre, a divine beast, I'm not sure how old she is.

So, now that I think about it, I'm kind of disappointed, first because of the lack of in-game old female characters, and secondly because the game's designers lacked the courage to depict them with accurate ages, despite the male counterparts aging gracefully:

I'd like to see more depictions of older female characters in Valkyrie Connect (and in other games as well). Aging isn't a bad thing; it's a natural process. There are already far too many young attractive girls in the game. Why not spice things up a little? Not that it will affect the sales because I believe most players are only concerned with their abilities (auto skills, passive skills) to fight in the Arena and Connect Battles.

With these thoughts in mind, I'm considering submitting one or two old female characters to the Hero Creation Competition next year.

//Well, I'm up to date on the manga, and the current chapter we're on is 172, which means Usa-chan was the latest girl to get introduced. Depending on who we get after this, my opinions may change a bit.

//Currently though, I am dead certain on my favourite, and that's Ahko. She's adorable, I love her design and her personality, and every chapter she's in and everything I see of her makes me smile. Unironically, I love her lack of energy. Go girl, give us nothing!

//Second favorite is probably Karane, and I think it's really impressive that not only is she a likeable tsundere character, but she was one of the first girlfriends and to this day is still among the best the manga has to offer.

//As for my least favourite, that's INCREDIBLY tough because somehow we're on track to 100 different girlfriends, we're currently almost at 30, and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM IS LIKEABLE.

//But if I had to pick, I've narrowed it down to two. The first is Chiyo, and not because I dislike her personality or think she's annoying, in fact I think she's funny and cute. //My other pick for a potential least favorite is Kishika for basically the complete reverse reason. Every girl has a gimmick to them, and Kishika reverting into baby mode whenever she's pampered is easily my least favorite/the one I find most annoying. Even Hahari's blatant pedophilia doesn't bother me too much because 100 Girlfriends already shatters your suspension of disbelief from it's concept alone, but weirdly, Kishika being babied turning her into a proverbial baby is something that has always grossed me the hell out for no real reason.

//But even Chiyo and Kishika are such fun and likeable characters that I don't really care, and my gripes with them are minor at best. Props to Nozawa and Nakamura for making such an endlessly enthralling cast of characters, my lord.

in terms of characters I'm most excited to have compete: Kyo Sohma (Fruits Basket), Orange Blossom (Strawberry Shortcake, I will not be using the modern design dw), all the Gordon Freeman s (Half Life, etc), Flame Princess (Adventure Time), Sakura Chiyo (Monthly Girl's Nozaki-Kun), and Tepig (Pokemon)

That's a little bit of a spoiler for characters I'd like to work into the bracket(s). Whether or not I'll be able to do that remains to be seen

Spaceverse Drakul and Apex Prime sketch dump!

All older sketches here that predate the RP, some by a lot, some by a little. Most of these characters have only been referenced or haven't even appeared yet so far, but I have ideas for many of them for possible stories moving forward. Many of these will likely need a new portrait to fit their Spaceverse versions better someday.

In order, we have: Shakti (reimagined from an Amber Court vampire to instead the Prime Chieftain of Apex Prime and a lioness shifter), younger Landulf, Hettienne, current Landulf, Grenier, Gerard, his sister Rosamund, Carlos, Eligio, Kyung, Mariya, Ulrika, Aldric, Adasi, Kwabena, Tsubame, Elizabeth, some sketches of Yuuki including one where she's a bit older, Adasi, Gerard, Darius (who I'll admit is pretty much Klavier Gavin from Ace Attorney's design but as a British-inspired vampire x3), Jae, Milly (who may not appear here but I do like her design, maybe she can be adapted), Marco, Bonnie, some sketches of my snake-shifter Katsuo, Chiyo, Seo Yun, and another sketch of Kyung.

Credit to Cookie who I used to write a lot of these characters with and who helped brainstorm a lot of ideas for my vampires. These characters belong to me.

the raiden gokaden and the worship of power

or: why scaramouche targeted the raiden gokaden

(contains spoilers for his 3.1 cinematic)

inazuma's chapter left a lot of people unsatisfied with raiden ei's character (which is a whole different discussion and, if ur interested, i made a post analyzing the storyline), one of the reasons being that she didn't face much consequences for her actions. it felt like some acknowledgement was missing, especially because when the war is over everything goes back to normal. it isn't really necessary for the chapter, but it is relevant for ei's character (the same way zhongli facing the consequences of the archon war through the salt god quest and his own actions through azhdaha is).

i believe scaramouche is meant to be the vehicle that allows the writing to explore this missing part, in a way that concentrates the most important issues rather than just tackling them one by one.

and the raiden gokaden is the perfect (conceptual) target for this.

1. the gokaden as a symbol of military power

ei's method for progress (which in the context of inazuma means both accomplishments and survival) was through her blade, she herself acted as a tool/weapon for makoto's ideals (until she herself had to step into the role of head of state). among the many victories the shogunate owes to their raiden shogun there's the protection of inazuma against the cataclysm, the battle against chiyo after becoming corrupted, the sealing of kapatcir's resentment in amakumo peak, and the slaying of orobashi when he and the watatsumi warriors attacked narukami territory.

the raiden gokaden are an extension of that military power.

first betrayal: being cast aside due to weakness in design, because he couldn't host the gnosis (funny enough, a weakness in design, by tampering with the blueprint and taking away a core part of the swords, is what caused the fall of the gokaden)

2. the ingredient for swords is jade steel

jade steel is made in the mikage furnace by smelting crystal marrow, which is produced by the tatarigami radiating from orobashi's remains.

second betrayal: something related to katsuragi, which resulted in his death at the hands of a sword forged in the mikage furnace.

3. the tatarigami causes a mysterious illness

inhabitants of yashiori island succumbed to physical as well as psychological effects when they were corrupted by its energy (with exceptions such as chouji's mother, who let it "flow freely within her")

third betrayal: the death of a child scara was looking after, allegedly due to the tatarigami illness

so in order, the events that resulted in the two last betrayals are:

ei kills orobashi in yashiori and his remains produce the tatarigami

the mikage furnace is built by the tenryou commission in kannazuka to forge swords with jade steel

the tatarigami causes workers and inhabitants to fall ill

the delusion factory

you have to wonder then, if scaramouche's low value of human life truly comes from himself or from what he witnessed.

the people of tatarasuna and the miners of yashiori were manpower used to forge weapons, they were more or less human sacrifices for power. was the fatui any different when they used the members of the resistance to test delusions, which are made of the same material (dead god juice) as the blades forged by the gokaden?

the worship of power

in inazuma's act III, we find out the tenryou commission was in cahoots with the fatui and were the ones hiding the war from the puppet. the leader of the clan is exposed to have the wrong kind of worshipping for their archon, as opposed to kujou sara whose belief is genuine. paimon says he "worships her power as a warrior" instead.

since the gokaden is the symbol of the raiden shogun's power, perhaps what's being explored through scaramouche's character arc is the consequences of this mistaken worship.

I put on a knee high skirt and my f/c shirt and some white heels my favorite ones due to me being the shorter one among us I always looked tiny compared to the rest of my friends. I put my hair in a ponytail and walked to my boyfriend to see if I looked good.

“Kyojuro does this make me look pretty” I asked worrying that I didn’t look good because even if I was skinny or cubby it didn’t really matter to Kyojuro seeing he loved every part of me it didn’t matter how big or small you were as long as you where you he loved you for that. Even if he is busy all the damn time.

“My flame you look beautiful as always tho I feel you need one thing” he said looking at you with his beautiful eyes. “What is that dear?” I said feelings confused. “I think you need some jewelry to complain your beautiful hair pin” me beings me I thought he was going to say makeup or a love mark Kyojuro was never one for girls who wore a lot of makeup he doesn’t see what use it is all he sees is that it covers the natural beauty of my face he says all the time

“Maybe this necklace I got you” he said pulling out a pink and white jewelry box with a diamond necklace on it that reads ‘I love you’ with a my favorite flower on it. “Kyo you didn’t have to” I said with teary eyes this man knew how to make a women feel like she was queen of the world and everyone else was nothing. He put the necklace on and let down my hair out of the ponytail and took me to the car and we drove away from the mansion he had you specially design. You couldn’t believe you thought he didn’t love you

Soon we met the others at the place we were supposed to be an hour ago but Tengen being late as always made the rest of us wait. “Sorry for making you wait the god of festivals and his goddess has arrived!!” Tengen and my bsf coming into the room dressed like a king and queen with small glitter booms going off entirely the room which we waited for them to enter. The rest of us looking at them with pure rage and announces that they always have to enter a room with glitter booms Tengen called it flashy and he would have wanted real booms but he didn’t wanna kill anyone.

“Bow before your god and goddess” my bsf said acting just like her husband wow they really are a match made a haven “Oh shut it and let’s go” Sanemi said from the other side of the room with his girlfriend in his arms. Out of us all she was by far the clingiest and shyest and no matter what never left Sanemi’s side unless she had to like when he goes to work he had to make sure she has everything she needs in they’re bedroom including his favorite hoodie. Of course her name would be haven like not kidding her name is Haven.

Gyomei girlfriend’s was sitting on his lap talking with him hitting his nose and talking about other stuff and they were giggling Gyomei’s girlfriend name was Kria even tho her name meant killer in Japanese she was she was harmless. A fly would do more damage than Kria she and her boyfriend always did wish he could see her but that would never be enough for the both of them to leave watch other they’re love was pure as far as I know they’re never even had sex.

Giyu’s wife was a chubby girl with black hair with her tips of her hair dyed pink Giyu’s girlfriend was always the adorable cute princess type she was always the most reasonable of the group her name was Chiyo she was so gentle and careful with everyone I can see why Giyu loves her all they we’re doing is standing there and Chiyo trying to calm Giyu down because Giyu really didn’t like how Tengen got lots of glitter in his hair to be honest I always knew Giyu liked them thicker. And I found that so cute I wanted to see how they’re baby would look seeing his wife is 2 months pregnant.

I’m pretty sure you all know Tengen’s girlfriend my bsf and self proclaimed goddess herself Mia. Is just like Tengen but a more crybaby type and will not care if Tengen even kills somebody that sands to her disrespectfully which ofc he wasn’t allowed to do but it happened one time before where he didn’t kill the girl but poisoned the girl that laid a hand on his goddess he got the poison from a guy name Gyutaro and his cry baby sister Ume it worked so fast the girl was in the hospital the next day fighting for her life. Tengen made it clear he puts his lover before anyone else’s worthless life.

Finally there is me and my Kyojuro I’d say we’re a little bit of all of they’re relationship in one but better because it’s us we are so close even if we have our moments when fight.

Continuing our conversation we were talking about marriage something I wanted so bad for me and Kyojuro to plan the wedding of our dreams I’m 100% sure he would let me have anything I wanted. I was a bit jealous that Chiyo got married before me but I was also happy for me being the maid of honor. Three years ago at her wedding

After the day out Kyojuro took us home and I wanted to ask him something more sexual than I have before. “Kyo will you fuck my throat tonight?” He looked at me dumbfounded I’d never asked for this before……

Amethyst does believe in ghosts. Most people there do tbh. I mean if there's magic deerfolk for every season and also angels with tails then ghosts aren't really that much of a stretch for anyone. She has met ghosts before, but they can't help her because they don't remember their life.

Amethyst is scared of heights. Which is ironic because she can fly. Failgirl behaviour, she also hates cockroaches enough to make her fly away. It's a vicious cycle until the cockroach leaves.

Ooh Amethyst is a big physical touch person. She's the type of person who just desperately needs a hug but is way too much of a coward to actually ask.

Lmao A1-R3 will just sink. More failure behaviour, they cannot swim for crap despite being a whole military weapon. Technically they could walk underwater, but they aren't fully waterproof either, they were designed to resist rain, not being submerged. No oceans though, they will rust.

(You would think the military would use some form of metal that doesn't rust, but nooo, too expensive. We need that money for our human experiments y'know? It's cheaper to just keep replacing them.)

They like screwdrivers. A1-R3 doesn't even need them, they just think they're cool for some reason.

Oohh. People do tend to assume that A1-R3 is not conscious. (And to a fair degree they're right,) but they do have some level of self-awareness. They just lack certain human reactions.

Hey there! Chapter 4 is up!

Since last night, police and pro heros were alert around the dorms and around the school.

Villains wouldn't make a move (it was too risky with so many pro heros on the same place, and with the security systems at full alert and function), still, it wouldn't hurt to be cautious.

Thigs weren't looking good and there was tension in the air.

They had made the students stay in the dorms

This kid wasn't normal... he could be in danger... or he could be the danger... for precaution it was decided he was handcuffed to the bed, but no one expected him to wake up screaming and scratching himself to bleed, breaking the handcuffs in the process. Like, yeah, when people that don't have strength based quirks train and stuff they can be strong. But he actually broke the cuffs without problem. Those cuffs were designed to resist strength quirks.

At first Aizawa thought the hearing came with the kid's quirk somehow or maybe he just got overwhelmed, but the strength...

Could this kid be a new kind of Nomu?

Everyone got on the move when this possibility was put on the table. Some suggested handcuffing the boy once again, but Aizawa argued against it, even if he was indeed a nomu, the kid hadn't wanted to attack anyone, he had alredy enough stress with the nightmare he woke up from and if they handcuffed him, the kid would try to free himself and who knew how violently he could react.

What Aizawa felt when he saw the kid for the first time was... something.

The scars were also worrysome.

When Chiyo checked him, she found small scars here and there along his body, but the most notable were two scars, the first one was a stab wound, the second one was a scar of a big wound. It was the size of a fist if not a little bigger.

What happened to this kid?

Hisazhi had wanted to stay with him when the kid woke up, but he convinced him to stay with the kids.

They needed answers.

And soon.

Rin was confused, red flags raised inside his head.

His first though was "why would anyone bring him here when he literally set himself on fire?”. Then he remembered that Aizawa could turn off his flames, and all the weird looking people he saw on the street (well not that strange, at least for him, demons looked funny most of the time). He wouldn't stand out so much (that was what he hoped, there was a guy with skin of what looked like wood on the street for fucks sakes!) but he had to get out of here to get his sword.

Shūzenji's "quirk", as she called it, (looked like that term was the way they meant their powers, why did they call it that? and how did all these people got powers?) consisted in healing, her lips grew and stretched giving him a kiss. After that, he felt a bit more tired but the scratches healed.

He let her use her quirk on him deciding to keep quiet about his fast healing, bursting in blue fire like a damn lighter was bad enough, he didn't want to get things worse. The less they knew the better, so, when Shūzenji and Aizawa asked him how was he and if this happened often he said he just had a bad day. The nephilim honestly didn't know what would have been the best answer but he hoped this was a good one. If he said yes then they would say "oh, so you are dangerous, we can't let you go" and who knows what they would do to him, and if he said no (like he did), he wasn't really sure what would come next.

The door was knocked twice before being opened by a man with black hair along with what looked like... a huge mouse??

Okeeey??

— Principal Nezu, detective Tsukauchi, I was about to call you — said Aizawa in a neutral tone.

— Hello Aizawa, I see our guest is awake — answered the huge talking rodent

The uneasiness twisted Rin's guts and crawled under his skin, but he managed to calm himself as he reminded himself that it was more likely that these people didn't even know what demons are (unless they were exorcists or something but he didn't think so, they didn't use True Cross symbol or anything, not to mention that they would have already attacked him, they were already taking too long for that), still, the fact that they saw his flames kept him nervous. It made him remember that nightmare and it sent shivers down his spine.

— Now, kid, could you please tell us your name, your age and explain us a little about what happened to you? — asked the detective.

— My name is Rin Okumura, I'm 15 years old and I was going to the train station when my flames got out of control, I didn't know what else to do that get away from people to not hurt anyone, Mr. Aizawa knows the rest — he gestured to him. — Thanks by the way — he quickly added.

It felt kinda weird to talk about his flames as if it was something normal.

Aizawa's response was just a nod. His expression was unreadable.

Rin really hoped they'd buy it cause there's no way he could play dumb like he would have wanted to. Aizawa and some officers saw his flames, and who knows how many people too on the streets.

He was lost, Kurikara was lost, strangers saw his flames, he was now being interrogated.

How was he going to fix all this mess?.

The detective wrote somethig on his notepad. It made Rin sweat a little.

— Can you tell us a bit more about your quirk?

Rin expected that. It wasn't so surprising.

— Like you saw, I can control blue flames... sir — he said glancing to Aizawa.

Tsukauchi took a moment, then wrote another note on the notepad.

— Is that all?

— Yes

New note.

《Should I tell them that I need to contact my family?...but what if the phone numbers don't work again? How will I explain that?》

Tsukauchi sighed putting down the notepad

— Rin, we really need you to clarify us some things, please don't lie

— I'm not lying! — His claim sounded lame even for him.

— My quirk lets me tell apart truth from lies, so, again, please don't lie.

《FUCK. IT.!》

Rin not knowing what else to do, bolted. The window seemed like the best route of escape. He knew they said something but he didn't hear it.

He had to go.

The window was close, but before he understood what was happening, he found himself on the floor restrained by Aizawa's scarf

— Kid, you're making this harder than it is

Aizawa's hair was floating and his eyes were red

— Trying to run will be also pointless, officers and proheros surrounding the school, you won't get far.— Added Nezu calmly and composed

Rin was thankful the scarf wasn't made of some holy shit thing that affected demons (what was it made of then?), and now he had it clear that those hair and eyes meant he couldn't use his flames.

The scarf restringing him felt more tight for a moment. But he could break the scarf, he could feel it.

Maybe Aizawa noticed this or something cause he said

— Listen, answer our questions honestly and everything will be ok.

That made Rin stop trashing and trying to get free. He was done.

— That's bullshit and we all know it!. Let me go! — He spat at no one in particular, he just wanted to leave.

Aizawa crouched down to be more at eye level with Rin, turning off his quirk.

— We really need some answers, please, just help us with that, nothing bad is going to happen to you

— What do you want to know from me that's so important? — asked the nephilim, his voice a mix of despair and annoyance, but he had stopped trashing so Aizawa let him take a sitting position

—We just need to know if you know some people — said Nezu (seriously what was he?). It was a bit unsettling that during this whole time he was calm and still.

— Like I said, my quirk lets me tell apart truth from lies so i know you lied, at least in some things, I got that you are being honest about your name, your age, and the fact that you did not want to hurt anyone when your quirk went out of control on your way to the train station explained Tsukauchi so, can Aizawa release you so we can clear all this?

Rin weightened his options.

He didn't understand much what did Nezu meant with "proheros" but if they were with the police, that meant bad news. They could be bluffing of course, but... it made sense now, they wouldn't have brought him here without being careful.

A part of him wanted to release himself and just look for his sword. But even if he didn't like it, he had everything to lose. If Aizawa could turn off his flames who knew how many others could too. He also didn't know what powers those officers and "proheros" had.

Plus, if they were after him it would be harder to find Kurikara.

He would have to take his chance when he found himself alone.

— Fine — he reluctantly said. With that he was free once again.

— Thank you— said the detective genuinely

They let him take a sit on the bed.

— Now, what other quirks do you have? — asked Tsukauchi

— Uh... — he felt a little awkward — I'm... strong, my senses are better than the average, too.

He also could hear demons telephatically (they didn't need to know that), but now that he thought about it, at first he just assumed all he had were the flames, his strength and the physical changes of his ears, fangs and tail. Hearing Kuro was a surprise. He couldn't prevent but wonder if there was anything else he could do.

— Are you a Nomu?

That was new?. He had been called all kind of names alluding to his demon heritage but he never heard that expression before. Was it a kind of demon? He wished he had paid attention to class. No matter how hard he tried to rack his brain, nothing, it didn't ring any bells.

— No

— Do you know what a Nomu is? Or have you heard of it before?

— No, what are they? — Hey, if they suspected him for being something at least he wanted to know what it was

— Let's summary it as they are people that were experimented on, that have more than one quirk.

— ...Oh — that was the only thing Rin could say. That... sounded messed up.

— Do you know the League of villains? any relationship with any of them?

They showed him sketches of what he assumed were members of this "League".

— No, never seen or heard of them before

— And All for One?

— No

《What kind of name is that?》

Rin took note how the air in the room relieved a little after his answer. There had been tension he didn't notice before.

— What gave you the idea that I had something to do with them?

— Your blue fire quirk — Tsukauchi elaborated, gesturing to a sketch of a young man that had spiky hair, heavily scarred over his jaw, down to his neck, and under his eyes, with what looked like staples along the scars and piercings on his ears — This guy, who calls himself Dabi, is dangerous, and also has a blue fire quirk like you.

— You can understand we needed to be careful — said Nezu — But now, I think we all are really curious about two things, the first one is how do you have more that one quirk and not be a Nomu, and the second is why aren't you in the system, we couldn't find anything about you, as if you don't exist, no missing report, no registration, nothing.

Rin looked at Tsukauchi straight in the eye.

— You said you knew when someone is lying right?

— Yes?

— Then you know I'm dead serious when I tell you than I'm not from here

— What do you mean? — Tsukauchi asked. Everyone was as confused as him

— I mean this isn't my home world or something. I don't know where the fuck I am, but where I come from there aren't things as proheros, this League of whatever or Nomus, I don't even know how the fuck I got here in the first place — Rin said extending his hands and then letting them fall in his lap in despair — all I know is I have to go back home, so just let me go and I'll be out of your hair.

Please. He begged silently.

Rin sweated cold, he fucked up, he fucked up, he fucked up BIG time. He felt everyone was looking at him as if he had gone nuts, then they looked at Tsukaiuchi.

— Ok... — guess the detective was processing all this — You are being honest...

After a few minutes where everyone let the information sink in Nezu broke the silence

— If you allow me, Rin, I have a better proposal for you... what do you think about becoming a hero?

I'm so obsessed with the Naruto kunoichis.

They are impossibly good in terms of potential and designs. I'm obsessed with imagining new fight collaborations, new combined attacks and techniques, new clothing. They are so capable and professional, it drives me insane that most of them are capable of fulfilling great roles, but they are happy to play the supporting role in order to protect peace and bring safety and happines to their village— and in some cases, like Tsunade's or Chiyo's, they are even happy or willing to step into the spotlight and play the main role, ignoring how much they don't want to do it or how peaceful it was in the sidelines.

Temari could have been Kazekage. Kushina could have been Hokage. Hinata could have become the leader of the Hyugas, one of the most powerfuls if not the current most powerful clan in Konoha. They all have it in them to be amazing leaders.

Shizune, Konan and Anko are apprentices of the sannin or their own right, which is insane for me because they are talented enough for all of them to be anbu. I'm sorry but can you imagine a squad of these three ladies? Torture specialist (Anko), poison specialist (Shizune) and a lady that almost ended the entire before it happened ALONE with origami (Konan, you'll be forever famous my girl).

I can tell you right now that Ino and Sakura have some of the most important roles in any war, in any universe, in any time. You're gonna need good communication + a good medical station, okay? And these girls are like "let me heal everyone slash transmit every vital peace of information to my allies while I keep on with the fight". Do you realize how badass that is? Your medical and intelligence chiefs can explode half the warzone / mindcontrol one of the biggest enemies and continue with their support like it's nothing.

You have Kurenai whole thing of being a genjutsu specialist, Tenten being a weapon master, women from the Inuzuka clan being specialized trackers... I just think rival shinobis should absolutely hate them for how good they are. I believe Kurenai has the right to terrorize people making them believe she's an Uchiha with genjutsu. Tenten should be a trap master too, a professional in hiding weapons all around and stealing enemy weapons. I think I'd love to see the Inuzuka women using their fangs to destroy some enemies.

At this point my head can't stop spinning while thinking about them. Rude, greedy, cold women, soft, compassionate, tearful women, batshit crazy women, logical women, young and old and of any age, harsh to the eye or total beauties, women that makes you feel uncomfortable for a million reasons, women that you don't get, women that is easy to relate to, talented women, hard working women, lazy women, cheating, wicked women and heroic, loyal women. Women in it for the love, women in it for the glory, women shouldering the legacy of their clans, women making history and prejudices, ordinary women, women that want to be left alone and be happy at peace, unsettling women, weird, strange women, all types of ladies.

I love love the kunoichis from Naruto with all my beating heart 😭😭😭😭😭

Tomorrow was her birthday. not this day that was talked about so much both in this world and the living one. valentine's day. funny how he never really did anything for her on it... but then again why to show love on one single day when you can do it every day. and that was what he tried to do. show his love for her every single day. tomorrow however was her day. the day she came into this world. and even though she had forgotten his -- which really didn't matter, despite their agreement to have a tradition of letting him sleep in, he hadn't minded at all. for her however, he wouldn't dare forget. and he got her this gift that happened to arrive today, a day earlier. he thought that was a good thing. since early is always better than late. what he had chosen this year was not all that different from the year before. nighttime wear but this time a sheer robe that had caught his eye because of its colour. she did like pink and then the design also seemed like something she might like. it was flowy and feminine and fluffy. and he had found her size luckily. now that it was wrapped up and ready for her to open it in the morning, he put it away in her side of the closet so she could see it when she got ready for work in the morning. inside was also a little note he had written later and put in between the folds of the box that read:

Happy birthday, wife.

i think it's our third year together now. i hope you like this gift and don't think me boring for choosing something similar to last year. i just saw this and thought you'd like it. i'm not that great at gift-giving apparently. apologies for that. i hope to try harder next year. anyway, love you and i'll see you soon.

She is undoubtedly EXHAUSTED. Haru had been up & down all night. Each time the little one would make his way to the end of their bed, he had a new reason why he needed his mother's attention. 'Tummy hurts, mommy', 'Tsuki woke me up, mommy', 'I wanna stay with you, mommy'. She had conceded DEFEAT roughly halfway through the night & eventually settled on letting the small boy remain in bed with them. Tsuki was a daddy's girl. She always wanted Starrk when she needed tending to. Haruya, however, was a mama's boy through & through & unfortunately, far more FUSSY of a child than his sister. Chiyo didn't mind MOST of the time. It came with the territory of having young ones. Only, up until recently, she didn't have to wake up nearly as early & it wasn't such a DETRIMENT to be woken up multiple times in the night. Now? She had to be up quite early for the commute to the Seireitei. She had previously been a PROFESSIONAL when it came to working long hours on little sleep. In fact, it was the way of their division. But she had become SPOILED with sleeping in & now it wasn't as easy as it once was. She has to PEEL her son off of her when it comes time to drag herself out of bed. She tucks him back in with little protest from Haru. He must have worn himself out from his own ANTICS & would most likely rest peacefully until it came time for their father to make them breakfast. Chiyo feels the exhaustion HIT her like a ton of bricks & she groans quietly to herself. It was going to be a LONG day. She makes her way to the closet in search of her uniform (if it could even be called that anymore, given her recent modifications). Crystal optics halt in their search when SOMETHING gets her attention. A box, nicely wrapped & placed atop her dresser.

Oh right. Today was her birthday. Of course he did something for her. He wouldn't FORGET like she had. Chiyo sighs, taking the box in her hands & feeling an immense sense of GUILT. Dammit. Why did he have to be so thoughtful? Part of her was hoping they could just IGNORE her birthday & be even for the year. But he hadn't even been upset & of course he was still going to do something for her. She tries to open the box as QUIETLY as she can manage, not wanting to disturb her boys when the sun hadn't even risen yet. Inside, she is met with a note & a shock of light pink fabric. She opens the note first, reading over his words & smiling to herself. He was just so PRECIOUS. After finishing the note, she pulls the garment from the box, lifting it up to get a better look at it. It was LOVELY. A pretty, pink, fluffy robe that would certainly pair well with the other things in her recreational closet. How could she EVER think it boring? She neatly, folds it back up, setting it aside so she could wear it after work. Then the small shinigami makes her way over to her husbands side of the bed, placing a kiss on his forehead. ❝I love you SO much.❞

I didn't watch the video but i saw this

The one who saved Naruto is Obito and Hinata was not in a serious condition. Any normal medical shinobi can treat her easily because her condition is not dangerous. This does not mean that Sakura saved her life and then treating people is part of her duty as a medical ninja and not something great. And in her fight against Sasori, she used anti-venom whenever she was exposed to poison, and old Chiyo was helping her

That plus some of the facts are wrong like her early character design one is actually a cover art Kishimoto did during the manga and not her early works.

Sakura also doesn't own her own clinic she runs the Konoha hospital which has a department for children set up for those suffering from trauma.

Also Sakura doesn't actually use four elements why it does have natures she is never shown using any elemental jutsu and she only has Yin and Yang release cause that is what most medical and genjutsu come under.

Also it was not Sakura's birthday when Naruto and Hinata got married between March and May you can figure this out from Boruto's birthday and when he would have been conceived.

OKAY IF YOU WANNA BE IN NARUTO. first off let's get you started with a village. i'm assuming you'd wanna be in leaf BUT i'll tell you about the others anyways. there are technically a LOT but as they say pretty early on, we have the five main actual "ninja villages". also where you're at, most of the other villages arent really relevant yet and you havent met most of the characters from them, buuut-

hidden mist - or "kirigakure". led by the mizukage. land of water. lots of water style users. as its name implies, it is SUPER misty- but another name it was once known by? "the bloody mist". this is because the exam for genin was killing all your classmates! akatsuki is rumoured to have started here. seven ninja swordsmen ail from here (eg. zabuza and kisame), as well as haku, kimimaro, and mei!!

hidden cloud - or "kumogakure". led by the raikage. land of lightning. this village is set in the mountains, so it quite literally is in the clouds. since it's in the land of lightning, a lot of characters from here have lightning style chakra natures :O they were trying to collect other village kekkei genkai (bloodline traits etc, example the hyuga byakugan) at one point, so they're kinda hostile w the leaf for a bit. characters from here include a, killer b, c, karui, omoi, and darui!!

hidden leaf - or "konohagakure". led by the hokage. land of fire. so lot of fire style natures! this is where most of our main story takes place!! this village is very familiar with forest terrain, and has the hokage rock ofc with all the hokages carved into it :D well known for the huuge number of prestigious clans that reside here, like the uchiha, hyuga, nara, etc. characters from here... most of the main cast HKDGHGG

hidden stone - or "iwagakure". led by the tsuchikage. land of earth, lots of earth style users, you know the drill by now. this place's architecture is cool bc it literally is kind of.. carved from the surrounding rocks and stuff? all its buildings and all that? this place is interesting bc even in times of peace, the tsuchikage did a lot of things behind the other villages back, such as hire the akatsuki many times. characters from here include deidara, kurotsuchi, and onoki.

hidden sand - or "sunagakure". led by the kazekage. land of wind. this place is in the desert, yep :] the village itself is set in this sort of.. valley, i guess? surrounded by cliffs and stuff. this place has a LOT of "puppet style" shinobi, which is basically.. using strings of chakra to control puppets, which are also designed in the village. they had a whole section for it and everything. notable characters who come from this village include gaara, kankuro, temari, sasori, and chiyo :]
