and girl (gender neutral) thank you for humoring ME!!!! i am so normal about sdv i swear. i also happen to have the dcburger portrait mod installed (mainly because i couldn't find shie portraits for ridgeside) so now i get whiplash going from two very different art styles. also sprinkle in a bunch of dialogue mods and now everyone's more fleshed out... slippery slope to having like 60 mods in your folder and really putting your computer to work. i have the yandere dialogue installed so lovesick doesn't even scratch the surface for my game's alex lol. i get too preoccupied with foraging so i completely miss shiro most days as well (and pretty much every other villager) but him and his little brother are so sweet!!! the scar is just so unfair. i want to kiss him so bad.

i also really like jeric, fun flirty characters are just so mmm. i know the love interests are all playersexual but jeric i buy being fruity. even if he didn't have the single left earring in i would still confidently say he kisses boys. i know what he is.

i'll admit it!!!! gay panic is my Shit!!!!! and the way you described it is exactly what i love about it. games where it literally makes no difference whether you're gay or not are so cool and great but the games where the characters go "haha never been with another guy/girl before" have me in a chokehold. Knowing how to do things with people of the opposite gender but then when it's someone of the same gender suddenly they're nervous and feel vulnerable and don't know where to put their hands? oh my god Might as well just kill me at this point

What's your opinion on the DCBurger's portrait mod for Harvey (if you have any)? I just downloaded it and I love it.

Never tried it and I'll probably never will because I mainly play on the switch and can't use mods 😂

But everytime i see a portrait mod I wonder how long it must've taken the artist since the effort and time going into these is incredible

Sebastian, everyone’s favorite emo turd from Stardew Valley.

Y’all have no idea how hard this was for me to do. I haven’t drawn regularly in 5? 6? 11? months or so. Lately I’ve been more depressed than I’ve been in a while AND and and... I don’t have a decent display to do digital art on. SO I’m thankful I even completed it. Shoutout to DCBurger for the hair inspiration (I love the way they drew his hair in their portrait mod). Anyway, this started out as an expression study since I struggle with faces. Probably going to add more expressions (not gonna color them even though I need the practice, the 1366 x 768 resolution on this laptop is a PITA to do much on, not to mention this screen has a weird blue tint to it. Maybe if I get enough mojo back I’ll open up commissions to get the new case + PSU + monitor I need for my desktop computer.

Stardew - Birthday gift list

Friendship is a part of Stardew Valley. You raise the hearts by doing quests, talking and gifting. Friendship does decay over time. you can give one gift per day and two gifts per week, counter rests on sunday. 

More on gifting in the wiki: here. I really like this system.  I like the wiki but I sometimes  need an easy to check list of individual easy gifts (easy for me means: not requiring too many ingredients)  so I’ve created a list for myself.  Universal loves imho are better off used otherwise or sold, at least early in the game.

Daffodil is a very popular flower in the game. Most characters, with a few exceptions, either love it or like it. quartz also seems to be fairly popularly liked. The easiest universal love is rabbit foot  when you get a rabbit - wiki only lists Penny as exception (she hates it).  In year 1, it may not always be possible to give loved gifts,

After friendship increases, the villagers send the farmer gifts in post from time to time as well - I love that. 

The farmer somehow doesn’t get BD in this game - but as always mods come to the rescue.

 https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/520  adds in farmer’s BD and, although it doesn’t appear in the calendar, the spouse and villagers do give gifts on that day - that’s fun. I love that mod too, another of my favourites aside from Dcburger’s portrait mod and dialogue expansion mods.
