Miscellaneous Facts about the Quartet

I have a bunch of random facts that are canon to me about my Pan, Bulla, Kuriza, and Cell Junior. A lot of them will never see the light of day in my series, so I might as well jot them down here.

Bulla likes collecting old school, 'retro' technology and toys (e.g. lollipop phones, password-locked diaries etc.)

Junior enjoys listening to Nicki Minaj (the only real-world pop star with a counterpart in the DB world)

Kuriza doesn't know the specifics of Arcosian asexual reproduction

Kuriza's favourite planet before Earth was Freeza Planet 32, a planet full of tall trees and luscious rainforest

Pan dislikes her mother's cooking even though Gohan loves it

Pan has a bigger manipulative streak than Bulla, contrary to popular belief

Junior is a prodigy at anything arts related

In terms of combat power, from weakest to strongest: Pan, Kuriza, Bulla, Junior

Junior is the fusion that resulted from all the Cell Juniors on Monster Island fusing into one (after seeing Trunks and Goten do the fusion dance during their time there) and then never unfusing due to them all being genetically identical

Since the first "Quantum" token was created on the blockchain in 2014, NFTs have come a long way. The market has grown quickly, giving investors a great place to invest where cryptocurrencies, traditional assets, and digital ownership all meet. As of May 2022, more than a million crypto users had bought or sold NFTs, and the global NFT market is expected to grow from USD 3 billion in 2022 to USD 13.6 billion in 2027. Non-fungible tokens are unique digital assets that are stored on the blockchain. This is the first time that owners of physical assets can extend their ownership into the digital world. This kind of ownership can include art, fashion, sports, and even physical objects. Since the introduction of the ERC721 token standard in 2018 and the groundbreaking sale of "Everydays: The First 5000 Days" by Beeple in 2021, which marked the entry of NFTs into mainstream culture, NFTs have given communities of developers the ability to invest, create, and self-custody their own creative financial assets. People also think that NFTs are the next step in managing digital rights. More buzz about digital ownership of these assets has also brought in art collectors, who are taking advantage of the difference between traditional art and digital art to start attracting a wide range of people, from gamers to celebrities to crypto enthusiasts. The new brands and IP franchises are NFTs. It's important to know that NFTs are not just images that you can collect. The biggest NFT collections, like Bored Ape Yacht Club, Azuki, RTFKT, and Loaded Lions, have become mainstream brands and intellectual property franchises whose ownership is split between their creators and the owners of each NFT unit. Each one shows a different worldview, brand story, and set of images. Like Marvel characters or Transformer toys, they are on branded merchandise, show up in real and virtual events, and are likely to become video game franchises. From the point of view of the people who own NFT units, shared ownership means that having an NFT in a cryptocurrency wallet doesn't just give access to special events (also called token-gated experiences). It sets up the expectation that the holder will have a say in how the brand is run and will take part in making the franchise more valuable in the long run. How does this system of leadership work? Enter DAOs (Decentralized Autonomous Organizations). DAOs and NFTs are two types of investments. DAOs replace traditional corporate hierarchies with structures owned by the community and run without a central leader. Even though they are still young, they are becoming more popular and will eventually help make Web3's goal of giving the value of a network back to its users a reality. DAOs are community-led, digital-native organizations that are powered by blockchain technology. Members vote on the direction and goals of their organization. The utility of a DAO is that it can help Web3 reach its goal of democratizing the creator economy by making connections between communities and specific projects that are more direct and clear. This is true for both crypto-curious people and natives. DAOs are replacing legacy institutions with governance models that are more flexible and adaptable than the rights given to shareholders of a large company. This is made possible by technology. Also, people think that control and ownership are more democratic, like a cooperative organization. In a DAO, each owner has voting rights through a "governance" token, which has a code that is 100% transparent. This means that no one person controls the community, so decisions can be made more quickly and efficiently. NFT creators and community members can make decisions about the future of an NFT project and change its direction by voting in a secure way that other owners can see. The people who use DAO-NFT DAOs might be able to help new NFT creators build a sense of community and bring together a group of investors to take

part in gated community events, raise money, and give smaller projects access to voting and access to the public. Users can meet, talk, and agree on a common goal for the DAO on different social networking sites. They can then use Ethereum contract development to send money to the DAO. When investors decide to take part in a project, they may be able to get discounts on products and pay less for fees if they join early. In a world with fewer and fewer borders, DAOs can also bring together people from all over the world to work together and coordinate on a common goal. A DAO lets almost anyone build the future of Web3 as long as they have an internet connection and governance tokens. Participating in a DAO also gives people a sense of ownership similar to being a cofounder of a start-up. This is because they can direct the investments of the project's treasury, which is controlled by a multi-signature crypto wallet. This can lead to more innovation and even financial rewards. What will happen with NFTs and DAOs? When it comes to NFTs and DAOs, they raise the philosophical question of what the next step is in the peer-to-peer economy and how the people who run Web3 can make it easier for the next generation to use. We will keep seeing new ways to use DAOs, including in music, art, buying high-value assets, and more. Case studies of collaboration between DAOs and NFTs are starting to come out, and we are starting to see how DAOs, by using a co-op model of organizational structure, are giving people who participate in the creator economy in their own small way new ways to get involved. Because NFTs give people ownership and real-world benefits and DAOs offer new ways in, the fit between asset and community will continue to drive innovation. As both traditional markets and cryptocurrencies face tough times ahead, more and more people are looking to Web3 to give them the power and tools they need to write their own financial histories. I redrew some of my old Danganronpa OCs from one or two years ago! With hardly any changes to their original designs!

Luka Yutashi, Ultimate Duchess: The protagonist of the project they were from (that I never started ._.). As a big plot twist she was supposed to also be the mastermind, and I have that design hidden among my many sketchbooks

Anzu Azuki, Ultimate Baker: No idea what's going on with her name or the weird arm warmers. She was gonna be the protagonist of the last chapter. She was also going to be Luka's love interest throughout the story.

Mika Komaji, Ultimate Escape Artist: She was originally supposed to be Himiko's daughter, but with how I arranged the timeline it's completely impossible. Once again, her outfit confuses me.

Amai Mitsubi, Ultimate Interpreter: I know nothing about her except for how gay my sister was when Amai was first shown to her. I think she was the chapter 1 victim, but maybe not.

Mina Yuzawa, Ultimate Weight Lifter: I took the strong, feminine girl archetype and ramped it up to eleven. Except I couldn't (and still can't) draw muscles.

Miku Yushita, Ultimate Lacrosse Player: A killer and that's all I remember.

Tsuki Sanada, Ultimate Aviator: Pretty sure she's my sister's favorite. Her hat is affected by the same force that makes Yasuhiro's coat float.

Kiku Yakume, Ultimate Babysitter: Who is she. She radiates survivor and mom friend energy.

The POCALOID Files

i've considered making posts about notable cases of vocaloid piracy related to certain vocaloids. however, since they all share that piracy in common, i decided a bonus post compiling their stories would be best.

piracy is a controversial topic in the vocaloid community. so before anything else, i want to clarify: the purpose of this post is not to condemn anyone involved in vocaloid piracy. it is simply to inform because i find these stories interesting.

most vocaloids, if not all, will inevitably get pirated. but today, we'll look at cases involving piracy of these specific vocaloids:

What is POCALOID?

Originally, POCALOID was the name of an illegal version of the VOCALOID2 editor distributed online. As it was the most well known pirated software, POCALOID became a catch-all name for any illegally downloaded editor or voicebank.

Generally, the reason someone would pirate a VOCALOID is simply to be able to use it without committing to investing their money. Over the years, people have had more specific reasons for pirating VOCALOIDs, including:

wanting to try out a voice, intending to buy it at a later date

difficulty in obtaining legally

private/exclusive release of vocals

POCALOID carries risks, both to the user and to VOCALOID as a whole. As with any pirated software, POCALOID carries the risk of having malware attached to it that can harm your computer. It may also not have the full capabilities of a legal editor, including bugs and an inability to work with legal software (e.g., trying to use a pirated copy of Hatsune Miku on a legal VOCALOID4 editor). Additionally, pirating a VOCALOID detracts from its sales. If a VOCALOID does not sell well, it is less likely to be developed any further, and it may halt VOCALOID production as a whole from its developers. This was pointed out by RUBY's developer, Prince Syo, on Twitter. He had no intention of developing any more VOCALOIDs unless RUBY sold extraordinarily well, and he was discouraged with the knowledge that people would inevitably pirate her voicebank.

The best way to learn about the cause and effects of POCALOID is to look at the most significant cases of it.

Prima

The popularity of VOCALOID skyrocketed after Hatsune Miku's release. Japanese and English speaking listeners alike frequently tuned in to her songs. This, of course, greatly improved Miku's sales, as Japanese listeners wanted to make their own songs for her. English listeners, however, didn't have as much of a use for VOCALOID. The most recent English vocal, Sweet ANN, was quite obscure due to being released before Hatsune Miku, and those who did know of her were discouraged by her box art and voice.

The more significant issue for English speakers was the interface of the VOCALOID2 editor. It was in Japanese, and the only way to change it was to install an English voicebank. Naturally, this also made it difficult for English speakers to pirate the software...until Prima was released in January of 2008.

Prima was very popular when she was released. She was the first English VOCALOID to be released after Hatsune Miku brought VOCALOID out of obscurity. Her release not only drew attention from Japanese fans and introduced them to overseas VOCALOID songs, but it also attracted English fans who now saw an opportunity to use VOCALOID effectively. However, Prima's ability to change the VOCALOID2 interface to English was likely the main attraction for English speakers.

Of course, this also attracted English speaking pirates. There was finally an English capable VOCALOID in the spotlight who was able to change the editor's interface to a language they could read, but she was also the most expensive voicebank upon release. Her high price tag, combined with her popularity with English speakers, further encouraged her piracy.

As VOCALOID grew, Prima's popularity decreased, and so did her piracy. Later VOCALOID and POCALOID editors would make it much easier to switch languages, which diminished the need to pirate Prima.

Kobayashi Matcha and Masaoka Azuki

Matcha and Azuki are the first known private VOCALOIDs. They were developed by YAMAHA and SEGA for Project 575, a multimedia series including several games and a series of 5 short anime episodes.

Matcha and Azuki are the two main characters. In the games Utayomi 575 and Uta Kumi 575, the VOCALOID2 engine is utilized to synthetisize Matcha and Azuki's voices in real time.

Utayomi 575 was an iOS app. Pirates were able to hack into the app and extract the data for Matcha and Azuki's voicebanks, then modify them to be usable by POCALOID editors.

At the time, this was the only way anyone outside of those involved with Project 575 could use these two voicebanks. People saw it as easily justifiable because of this. On the other hand, however, it was very obvious if someone had pirated them if they uploaded their POCALOID works with Matcha and Azuki online.

This was the case until July 2017, when Matcha and Azuki received VOCALOID4 upgrades and were finally commercially released. Now that it's possible to use them legally, their piracy has decreased, although now it's not immediately obvious if someone is pirating their VOCALOID4 voicebanks.

galaco

galaco was released exclusively as a contest prize for winners of a VOCALOID music contest. In total, 697 copies were awarded.

Some people who entered and won the contest were pirates! They entered with the intention of cracking galaco's voicebank and uploading it online. Like Matcha and Azuki, people justified this with the exclusivity of galaco's voicebank. Not only was it limited to the 697 winners, but even those who owned her legally could no longer use her after all her codes had expired in October 2013, and they felt they should have the right to continue using her by any means possible. Since galaco wasn't sold, people also didn't see an issue with regards to impacting her sales, as she had no sales to begin with.

Also like Matcha and Azuki, it was easy to tell if someone was using galaco illegally. The 697 winners of the contest were listed publicly on Nico Nico Douga. If the user was not listed, they were a pirate. Additionally, after she became unusable, any public works with galaco, regardless if the user was a contest winner or not, were illegal.

Fortunately, just eight months after galaco's prize version became unusable, galaco NEO was released. It is a commercially available and unexpiring update of galaco's prize voicebank for VOCALOID3, now known by the name galaco Red, as well as an additional voice acted voicebank, galaco Blue. While this made POCALOID identification more difficult, it also decreased the need many users felt they had to pirate her.

anon and kanon

anon and kanon were announced by YAMAHA on February 18, 2014, and were set to be released less than a month later on March 3, 2014.

Unreleased demo versions of anon and kanon were available on their website. Within the same month they were announced, their demo voicebanks were downloaded, cracked, and redistributed as full, illegal voicebanks. Their cracks were publicized by Planty-P, known for several controversies in the VOCALOID community including the fake VOCALOID Stella, which I may talk more about in a later post. Contrary to what some may believe, Planty-P did not discover or create the cracks, only made them better known by sharing a link to them.

anon and kanon's demos were soon removed from their website (although it's unconfirmed if this was a result of their piracy), but they were still officially released as planned. While they were not publicly deemed a failure, and no official statement was made regarding their piracy incident, it is speculated that the reason for their low sales and popularity was a result of their voicebanks being cracked before their release. During the popularity survey of VOCALOIDs in 2014 on Nico Video, they (along with YOHIOloid) were the 4th least popular Japanese vocals. The only Japanese vocals that were less popular were Ryuto, Chika, and Akikoloid-chan (who was never released commercially).

Rana

Much like galaco, Rana had a limited VOCALOID3 released and was highly pirated because of this.

Unlike galaco, Rana fortunately had an unexpiring voicebank, so those who rightfully owned her could continue to use her without resorting to piracy. However, obtianing Rana was difficult. She was promoted with the Vocalo-P ni Naritai! magazine. Every issue contained a ticket. All 30 tickets had to be collected and then exchanged for Rana's full voicebank. However, because We've Inc. could not conduct business overseas at the time, Rana could only be sent to a Japanese address. This presented a huge obstacle to overseas fans that did not exist with galaco.

A list of official Rana owners did not exist as one did for galaco. However, it was likely that if an overseas user was publishing works with Rana, they had pirated her. Some justified this if they happened to own all 30 magazines, and simply were unable to submit a Japanese mailing address. Japanese pirates were harder to identify, as there was no conclusive way to definitely prove their piracy unless they admitted it themselves.

As was the case with Matcha, Azuki and galaco, Rana later received a commercially available update that was much easier to legally obtain, especially for overseas fans.

Overview

These are not the first or last VOCALOIDs to be pirated. As stated earlier, nearly every VOCALOID (if not every single one) eventually gets illegally downloaded. This still occurs today, although the stigma against piracy seems to have lessened, at least among English speaking VOCALOID fans.

It's still apparent that piracy carries risks to a VOCALOID's sales and development. As an example, pirating Hatsune Miku, while I wouldn't recommend it, will likely not negatively impact her. She is still the most popular VOCALOID, and that is extremely unlikely to change in the near future. She still has a lot of support for future development, and many users willing to legally buy her. For contrast, pirating RUBY, who is still popular but nowhere near Miku's level, and was made mostly by one person as opposed to a corporation, will deal a harder hit to the possibility of further development.

However, it's easy to see why some might justify piracy in some cases, such as galaco's prize voicebank, where even those who won her as a prize were eventually unable to legally use her. Thankfully, she was updated and is now much more easily obtainable.

Even though this is considered a controversial topic, it's one I find interesting to discuss. If you have your own opinions on VOCALOID piracy, feel free to share! And as always, please let me know if I made any mistakes.

Azuki Nagamitsu

Azuki is, by no doubt, a very caring young man. He is a dad figure of the citadel and this extends to you as well, his dear master. Even when you have first smithed him, he is there ready to bake you something sweet to enjoy or even make you tea. The perfect husband.

It honestly begins rather simple, perhaps the relationship between you two is already borderline on marriage anyway. You tend to his wounds and help him cook, he cooks for you and is also a shoulder for you to lean on. It’s a gentle circle of love.

Perhaps everyone around you assumes that you lot are already dating so when one of the lil tantous asks if you two are really a couple…he has to stop and think about it for like fifteen seconds before flushing, turning his face away as the realization settles into his mind. Are you two dating???????

 Azuki begins to test the waters when he realizes he has a crush on you. Yes he already makes your favorite treats a lot, but he will do it more just to see that smile on your lips. Sometimes his hands will brush against yours when he’s handing the article of yumminess to you and it sends tingles down his spine. He doesn’t really avoid you, more so along the lines of trying to get closer and closer, just to gauge your reactions to see if you like him back.

At this point, you’ll never confess and it’s up to some tantou or other Osafune swords to scream, “JUST KISS ALREADY” while you two are chatting and eating on some kinda snacky. That, or lock you two into a room and not let you two out until you confess. It’s probably midare, he is an agent of chaos

To be honest, Azuki’s confession is lowkey a marriage proposal.

“I want to always see you smile, master, the way your eyes light up whenever I cook for you, it’s the most beautiful thing. I…I understand if you do not want to return my feelings, but please take your time to answer me. I will wait for you.”

 Now how could you ever turn him down?

 Azuki is a gentleman at heart, calling you his sweetheart or other delicacy related petnames. He adores hand kisses, will do so as he hands you something sweet. Along with cheek kisses, holy cow does he love them.

Speaking of PDA, I feel like Azuki does it at his own pace. If you even try to initiate it, he dies on the inside and his cheeks are this super cute pink; but then he wraps his hand around yours and squeezes it and man does it feel gOOD. If he initiates it, it’s mostly hand kisses, hand holding, or a simple peck on the cheek. The other stuff comes later, the kids are watching!

 Speaking of the said tantous, they will find it cute that you do PDA but then there’s like others who are like: “EW GROSS” or “GET A ROOM” most likely Tsurumaru who screams the latter.

 That being said, sooner or later, the tantous will start calling you whatever parental title you prefer along with calling Azuki ‘dad’. Azuki isn’t crying, he swears.

Call him your little red bean, he will die, it will be the most amazing thing.

 Breakfast in bed? Breakfast in bed. All day, every day. You are never going to go hungry with him around. Sure he’s more of a baker than a chef like Shokudaikiri or Kasen but he will learn from them without a doubt. Start making regular dentist appointments though, he’s gonna load you up with sugar and sweets.

He’s also the kind of person who has candy on his person – to either give out to the little ones or you if you need a snack! He also carries an aid-kit, he’s just super prepared.

Will love it if you two cook together! Maybe get into a little food fight? Who knows.

Azuki is somewhat of a morning person, around you when you two are sleeping together? Oh man, he turns into putty. Sometimes he won’t want to wake up because you are so warm! But he will wake up on his own in the end, he does want to make you something to eat after all!

 Matching aprons? Matching aprons.

 The relationship you two have is almost marriage material, what every couple aspires to attain. You begin the day together and end it together on your own terms. All you two have to do now is to tie the knot.

 Doudanuki Masakuni

·Doudanuki doesn’t really keep you at a distance per say? It’s respectable kind of distance, like a boss and an employee. He is a sword and he knows that he is here to be your blade, to cut down your enemies without hesitation. There is no doubt that he will protect you, and wants to be of use to you.

  In fact, he doesn’t even realize the feelings he has for you are romantic in nature. You come around to watch him train yes, but most likely he won’t even notice that you are present unless he stops or you make yourself known. Hell, sometimes he’ll train you as well! Swordplay, how to throw a punch, sparring, anything man! But as time goes on, he will look forward to your little lessons together. It brings a small smile to his face whenever you appear at the edge of the door of the sparring hall, ready to face him yet again.

   It has to be someone who has to tell him that he likes you. This will cause him to pause almost in horror at the thought, needing to go have some time to himself to think. That is when your daily lessons and training will stop for a while; he reschedules them or downright cancels them, making some kind of excuse. He doesn’t know how to deal with these emotions and the other swords had seen him pummel a punching bag until it was broken while he was in deep thought.

 It’s not that he doesn’t want the emotions; Doudanuki doesn’t know how to feel about it. He is a weapon, not a piece of art. He lives to serve and to kill, why would you want to have a relationship with him?

Again, it’s probably someone midare or tsurumaru who needs to help. The distance between you two is unbearable and thus, you two are locked in a room. Doudanuki offers to destroy the door but it’s a good time for you to talk to him. He panics on the inside as you two sit in silence for a while before trying to speak.

“Look…I don’t what to do with these…emotions. It hurts whenever I’m around you, like I never want to let you go. It’s just…how do I say it…what do the others call it? Love?”

Hug him, immediately. He will melt into your embrace.

When you two become an official couple, daily morning training sessions are still a common thing. Except this time, Doudanuki is a lil bit more affectionate than before. Yes he smiles more, and sure he does help position your body with touches – but it feels much more…hm, wholesome now that your feelings are known to each other. You almost melt into his touch and he has to jokingly remind you that you two are training, cuddles can come later.

 Doudanuki isn’t much into PDA, he feels a bit embarrassed by it. Again, he isn’t used to such affection and the least he will do in public is hold your hand in a loose grip – squeezing it every now and then – not because he doesn’t like you or anything, it’s because you two are going at a relationship at your own pace. In private? Cuddles are common. Again, loose grips in case you are uncomfy and want to move or body or something – but there are times when his bear hugs are just the thing you want and need.

He gives amazing massages and knows every inch of your muscles like the back of his hand – whether or not you two are truly intimate in a sexual sense. He knows how tense they can get so if he notices that you are hunched over your desk and your shoulders are tight, expect him to make himself known with a small, “I’m going to touch you, okay?” and then place his rough hands on your shoulders, smoothing out each and every kink you have.

If you massage him in turn, Doudanuki will turn into mush, leaning against you and almost purring.

 Big spoon? Little spoon? Who cares? As long as he can hold you, he’s happy.

 If he ever comes back all bloodied and bruised and you always take care of him with the most fond of care, there is a light blush to his cheeks as he leans into your touches. It’s super cute.

  Also super dense, cannot understand how flirting works but easy to make blush if you manage to do so!

  Over all, the relationship between you two is slow and patient, not at all in a rush to reach any kind of goal. It’s simple, awkward, full of ups and downs, but it’s a sweet one none the less.

 Yamabushi Kunihiro

 Bear hugs? Bear hugs. No matter if you two are dating or not, hugs all around. He will shout your name from across the yard and wave to you, and when he comes back from a sortie and isn’t too injured, he will find you and hug you! He’s just very affectionate!

Most often found in the mountains, probably running around and training but if you decide to come with him, he would be more than happy! He shows you around, tells you about nature and its gifts, and it’s more so of a hike than anything. Sure he may get ahead of you with his long ass legs and walk cycle, but he always waits for you to catch up. Or carry you if you ask. No hesitation there.

But when he starts falling for you, Yamabushi goes off to meditate on it a little bit. He will avoid you and ask that you do not disturb him during that time but it takes him at least a couple of hours before he settles on an answer. He meditates a lot whenever he has time to think, probably under a waterfall. In the end, he accepts those feelings of romance. He takes everything in stride after all.

After this meditation session, expect him to immediately go out to seek you and your attention. He may not confess right away, but simply become much more affectionate around you. But then again, he always is. Yamabushi’s hugs are softer, tighter, and he invites you out to the hikes much more often.

His confession will come outta nowhere, during a hike, enjoying the fresh air. Maybe it was the sunshine illuminating your form, but Yamabushi will suddenly speak.

“As gorgeous as ever, master! Kakaka! I wish I could forever capture your ethereal form!!”

 You would think that he would want a camera but no, after explaining what he meant and his confession is something oh so earnest. He spills out his love for you in such a happy nonchalant manner you would think he was joking. But the minute you share his feelings, his eyes light up like a puppy and he screams into the mountain air that he is the happiest man alive.

Yeah don’t think that the physical affection doesn’t go away. You’re gonna be drowning in it, fam. Yamabushi lives for PDA. Random hugs outta nowhere, picking you up and spinning you around when you least expect it, cheek kisses, lips kisses; all of the works!

  Cuddles are mandatory. That is it. You cannot escape cuddle time.

   Very much a morning person. If he wakes up before you, Yamabushi will do his best to keep quiet and not wake you up. Instead, he might just lay there, watching you and how the sunlight hits your face. It’s there when he just…melts. Yamabushi falls almost into a lull state, enjoying your warmth and presence.

 But if you two are indeed morning people, expect to be lying in bed for a while. Yamabushi cannot help but gaze upon your form. Then it’s time to get up and go into the mountains for training and hiking!

  He tends to laugh at his sorrows and that is all fine and dandy, but he will lean on you for troubles from time to time. He will also do the same for you, his advice is sweet and sometimes it may not help but he is trying his best!

  The relationship between you two is rather seamless, passing from friendship to romantic; the barrier between those words was already thin, and it just took a little bit to tear it down. It’s a comfortable, rambunctious, and overall, full of affection.

The 14th Department (AFTERL!FE) Meets the Demon Brothers and Undateables (Obey Me!)

Lucifer

Noah heard he has a dog.  He is staying far away from the pretentious eldest. 

Oldest big brother?  You better believe Youssef finds a kindred spirit, even if they differ wildly in personalities.  

Louis lives for the almost regal aesthetic Lucifer has got going on.  Lucifer, in turn, lives for the day Louis will stop talking.

Quincy finds this whole trip preposterous (“What the heck is the Devildom?  What happened to the Underworld?”) and does not like Lucifer’s condescending attitude (it conflicts with his own!).  

Ethan doesn’t like Lucifer—proud and arrogant people with no reason to be so are not to be respected.  Lucifer despises Ethan for the same reason.

Day!  Will!  Not!  Go!  Near!  Lucifer!  He’s so scary!  But Cerberus is his best friend now (Nine-Nine who?).

Nine and Theo together find out that the eldest demon is into classical music and spend hours discussing early compositions with him.

Ell cannot be around this demon!  He is a fallen angel!  He tries to be nice (and because Ell is kind, so is Lucifer, even if the sickly sweetness of the angel drives him up the wall), but every good wish is punctuated with a sneeze.

Lucifer is so overworked, so by way of his calm disposition and love for meditation, Jamie helps him find ways to relax.

The eldest demon’s general demeanor astonishes June.  How manly he is!

Likewise, Sian can’t go near Lucifer without feeling nervous.  The man drips dominating energy!

Verine can’t understand the eldest’s love for classical music.  Rock is infinitely better.

Mammon

Um, Mori and him are best friends.  They together cause trouble in the House of Lamentation and in the 14th Department with their many get-rich-quick schemes.

Gaudy and expensive taste?  Sign Louis up.

Ethan says ‘no’ to the demon’s general pomposity (it reeks of low self-esteem) and by God, doesn’t he own anything that depicts an iota of class?

Mammon is one speedy demon—how can Kirr not appreciate his fleetfootedness when it would bring him so much use whilst hunting?  Apart from that, Kirr has no respect for that reprehensible thief, for the very idea of stealing brings back terrible memories.

Always belittled by their peers, Day and Mammon find a kindred spirit in each other, and Day is always reminded of his past life when he sees all the gold that Mammon professes to possess possesses. 

Kati bit him twelve times because no dumb tsundere was going to steal his (cough Aitachi’s) spot as cutest in the Department!

Licht is eclipsed by Mammon’s demon form because how is he able to pull off wearing so little clothing so well?  He must take notes.  When he learns that Mammon is a model, too, he goes berserk with delight.

Cyrille finds the secondborn exceedingly stupid, although he begrudgingly gives him credit for being pretty decent at math.

Sian spots a fellow tsundere and runs away, because oh my God, it’s so obvious that Mammon likes this MC person!

Leviathan

Games?  Social awkwardness?  Extreme interest in things that no one else seems to care for?  Cyrille has found his soulmate!

Aitachi and Kirr cringe at how Leviathan spends his leisure time, but are intrigued because they have never seen such methods of gaming and media consumption before.

Leviathan is forever at Quincy’s mercy, for the fellow demon has no qualms of absolutely crushing Levi’s already non-existent self-esteem. 

Even though he loathes to admit it, Sian really likes the rhythm games Leviathan plays, and the thousands of idol posters in his room make him strangely nostalgic of his past life.

June wonders how Levi can go so long without feeling the overwhelming need to burst into a sprint now and again.

Theo almost kills the thirdborn because how is his room filled with so many Demonrito and Hell Mountain Dew containers?  What filth!

Speaking of filth, Licht finds some of Levi’s dating sims and oh my darling, some of them are quite … lewd.

Ghilley and Leviathan together construct an elaborate Lego model of a castle from the anime My Sister Is A Fairy Princess, And Her Suitor Is Secretly An Ogre From a Land Far Away And Wants to Eat Us All, And It’s Up to Me to Save My Sister’s Kingdom.

Ethan can’t even walk past Leviathan’s room without a disapproving “tut.”  Has the demon no discipline, despite being rumored to be the Grand Admiral of Hell’s Navy?

Kati spends all day poking at the cute monster and waifu figurines situated in Levi’s bedroom.  He thinks Azuki-tan is cute, but not as cute as him, and anyone who says otherwise will get bitten!

Aitachi likes to rifle through Leviathan’s anime sword replica collection and giggle because in combat, they would be of no more use than a toothpick.

Satan 

Finally!  Someone with sense! thinks Ethan.  Boy, do these two get along, right down to their educated and proper mannerisms to their mutual hatred of Lucifer.

Verine can’t go near Satan without coughing violently because the forthborn always has some manner of cat hair on him, no matter how diligently he preens.

Cats are infinitely better than dogs, so Noah sticks close to Satan.

Cyrille thought he had found a friend in Satan, who always has his nose in a book, but it turns out, Satan is more philosophically-and-intellectually-versed, while Cyrille is more scientific.

Nine likes Satan, for he is as calm as himself.  Strangely enough, they both seem to have hidden wrathful feelings and bond over this.

Kitties! :D is all Day can think when he sees the fourthborn.

Youssef enjoys Satan’s company, too, for they both are anthropological in nature—always watching, but never interfering until there is a need.

Blond and princelike are the two of them, but Louis is sorely disappointed when Satan’s royal appearance is merely a façade of darker emotions to come, where Louis enjoys life in its every aspect.  “How disappointing art thou, Satan!”  Louis throws rose petals in distress.

Kirr and Aitachi try to hunt one of Satan’s cats, thinking it was some kind of Devildom’s finest prey.  Satan does not forgive them for the attempt.

Theo sneezes the moment he enters Satan’s room.  Although everything is in its place and not truly messy by any means, he refuses to let the stacks and stacks of books sit idly by when they are begging to be put in shelves!

Quincy and Satan each add to their respective repertoire of curses in their time together.  It does not bode well for anyone in the House of Lamentation or 14th Department.

Asmodeus

They are … essentially the same person, so you can bet your ass that Licht and Asmo absolutely live for each other’s company.  They literally spend hours modeling clothes together, discussing fashion, gossiping about their romantic exploits, and praising their overall appearance.  

Louis joins in too, although he mostly stays for the latter, and the three vanquish away many nights complimenting their own and the others’ looks.

Sometimes Asmo likes to sew patches and sequins onto his clothes and mend them to his own design, and Aitachi, who likes to sew, learns many different ways of stitching from the fifthborn, although he hates the fact that Asmo, like Licht, never shuts up about what an “adorable and cute warrior” he is!

Asmo has to know Kirr’s hair care routine, which Kirr gives in one, succinct sentence: “I wash it.  Sometimes.”

Nine has to constantly flee Asmodeus’ presence because it is in his nature to compliment the Soul Reaper on how absolutely beautiful he looks.

Kati expects makeovers, all of which should emphasize his cuteness, every other day.

Don’t ask how long Mori spent calculating how much money Asmo spends on beauty products, because he wept at the end of it.

Verine refuses to step a foot into Asmodeus’ room because do you know how much his sinuses are going to bother him when he spends even a second into a room so deeply entrenched in the fragrance of flowers and perfume?

Ghilley is used to a personality so akin to his roommate, Licht, so he has no qualms in dealing with Asmo and quite likes the gossip he is quietly able to distill from the fifthborn.

Beelzebub

Brothers in their flaming orange hair, June gloms onto Beel with astounding loyalty (Theo refuses to admit jealousy, but ...), especially when he hears of his dedication to his twin.

Cyrille has to interrogate Beel on the structural integrity of his wings in his demon form because there is no way that such a flimsy apparatus could lift a demon of Beel’s stature even an inch into the air!  Also, how much does Beel exercise if he expects to gain muscle and burn off the infinite calories that he consumes?  It is a scientific mystery.

Day likes snacks, Beel likes snacks!  Everything is right in the world (even if the demon accidentally mistook Day’s hair for a mint ice cream cone).

Jamie is constantly offering fresh fruits and vegetables to the sixthborn, but even though he eats them willingly, Beel much prefers foods that will actually fill him up for a short amount of time.

Again, Ethan is appalled by the lack of discipline Beelzebub shows.  The demon is simply a slave to his appetite and deserves nothing less than scorn.

Theo cannot decide if he likes or hates the fact that Beel leaves a trail of crumbs wherever he goes.  On one hand, he gets to clean, but on the other hand, it’s so messy ... 

Even though he has many misgivings of fallen angels, even Ell cannot help but like Beel!  As long as he is fed, the demon is very sweet and kind.  

Noah likes Beel, too.  Something about his easygoing and generally cheerful personality pleases him to no end. 

Beel tried to eat Kati’s hair, thinking it was a yummy bun.  Sadly, he got bit more times than Mammon.

Youssef is a good cook and is thereby followed by Beel wherever he goes.  The kind Soul Reaper doesn’t mind, though.

Belphegor

Noah likes how Belphie takes things easily and calmly, although it probably wouldn’t hurt for him to get more exercise.

Belphegor is even more of a conundrum to June than Leviathan was.  He decides that next time he goes to the Devildom, he’s going to bring an extra pair of running shoes because the demon most certainly was wanting of physical exertion! 

Kirr is absolutely astonished at the unguarded and completely lax way Belphie sprawls out in the House of Lamentation, sleeping.  If he was an enemy tribesman, he would have no trouble in taking the demon down as he slept.

“This kind of laziness is not fit for a warrior at all!” cries Aitachi any time he seems Belphie dozing off.

Jamie likes Belphegor’s way of thinking.  Sometimes, sitting under an apple tree in the sweltering summer heat after a hard day of work just causes one to be overcome with the desire to take a nap. 

Youssef tries to brew Belphie a cup of espresso, but the caffeine just doesn’t seem to have an effect on the Avatar of Sloth. 

Although he is slightly disheartened by the fact that his quiet footsteps seem to have no effect on the seventhborn, as he is always asleep, Ghilley revels in the prospect of drawing unsavory graffiti on the demon’s face when he slumbers.

Day sometimes tries to rouse Belphie, and Belphie, in turn, tries to kill Day.

Like his observations on his twin, Cyrille cannot fathom how the demon could sleep so much.  How could one body need so much rest?

Simeon

Ell loves him.  How can he not?  He is the perfect angel!  He is also very curious as to how the Celestial Realm of Obey Me!’s world works compared to the one in AFTERL!FE.

His whole aesthetic mesmerizes Louis.  There’s something so tranquil but regal about it.  

Licht wants to know where he can get an exact copy of Simeon’s outfit because darling, it's gorgeous.

Youssef probably spends more time around Simeon than he should, but his calm demeanor is so refreshing compared to the chaos in the 14th Department and the House of Lamentation. 

Kirr and Aitachi together lament with Simeon on the struggles of working with technology.  Why is it so difficult?

Something about the angel’s holy air makes Mori very much not inclined to ask him how much the gold clasp on his cape is worth.

Quincy hates the “pretentious” and “stuck up” angel and bickers with him almost as much as he bickers with Ell.  Simeon never responds to his goading, although ... he does get a bit prickly when Quincy criticizes Luke or the Celestial Realm too harshly.

Encouraged by the prospect that he can actually breathe in the (fresh-smelling) presence of Simeon, Verine enjoys his company, but is perpetually annoyed by the fact that the angel seems to pity him for his condition.

Ethan can’t hate Simeon, either.  He is the sole honorable character he can find in the entire Devildom, even though he has to admit that it seems that the angel is hiding something.

Day really likes Simeon!  He’s so nice and is always ready to play with him.

As a man of science, Cyrille scoffs at Simeon (and Luke’s) unfaltering belief in religion. 

Luke

Kati bites him on sight.  Luke just seems irritating and how dare he think himself cuter than him!

Aitachi sympathizes with Luke, for they both lament on not being taken seriously because of their age.  

Luke reminds him a bit too much of a chihuahua for Noah to be too fond of him, but the little angel means well, so Noah suffers his incessant barking out of (Kind)ness.

Day is a human puppy ... and Luke is an angel chihuahua.  They get along great, although Luke makes it his most important goal to Christianize Day, who seems to believe in other things!

Quincy wonders when Luke will stop talking and is constantly entertaining thoughts of hastening the day when he will.  Likewise, Luke wishes the “horrible demon” would go away forever.

As a fellow angel, Ell finds Luke to be great fun.  It’s strange though, Luke seems to always be expressing the opposite of what he’s feeling in typical tsundere fashion, but he never sneezes.

Sian finds Luke to be of the utmost annoyance.  He’s so short (heh) and yappy and annoying!  

Kirr wonders if the little angel will make a good hunting dog, but after he realizes that Luke has a lot of trouble keeping his mouth closed, he thinks  better of it.

His dealings with Day cause Nine to be an excellent caretaker of Luke when Simeon is away.  You just have to deal with exuberant personalities like his carefully, is all.

Ghilley and Licht give Luke “five stars” in terms of cuteness.  The young angel does not approve!

Theo stays far away from Luke.  Children are walking crumb-and-stain-factories and he is not going to get dirty.

Solomon

Quincy and Solomon exchange many spell incantations and curses and keep the rest of the Soul Reapers, angels, and demons in an uproar with their constant shenanigans. 

When he notices that Solomon has many fortune-telling artifacts in his room, Kati rifles through them all (without permission), much to the sorcerer’s amusement, especially when Kati discovers many supposedly unpleasant things about his future.

Although Quincy and Solomon are the true troublemaking duo in terms of pranks (Satan helps, sometimes), Day and Solomon are almost equal in measure, although much of Day’s rogurey is an accident, and he never means to cause any harm!

Licht is instantly enamored by Solomon’s cape—what style!  You can see the entire Milky Way embroidered on it (Cyrille instantly assures him that that is not actually the case)!

Ghilley can’t help but wonder why anyone thinks Solomon is shady.  He seems to be a pretty upstanding, if chaotic, guy?

Youssef admires the humanity of Solomon.  In a land of angels and demons and even Soul Reapers, it’s good to have someone so normal.

Unlike Ghilley, Ethan definitely notices that something shady is afoot when Solomon is around.  Because of this, he tails the sorcerer wherever he goes, for he’d rather not a ruckus be caused.

Sian has many questions for Solomon on the status of idols in the Human World since he left it.  What are the newest trends?  The most popular groups?  The most admired dance moves?  He wants to know it all.

Barbatos

Cyrille finds the whole time-travel aspect of Barbatos’ powers intriguing and derails the butler from his duties for hours in attempts to understand the nuances of this overpowering concept.

Ethan privately thinks that he looked much better in a butler suit than the demon.  What is even going on with the front of his outfit?  A diligent and uncomplaining demon is Barbatos, and Ethan has to respect him for that, even if he is a position so beneath his own.

He’s so scary! D: thinks Day, even though Barbatos is nothing but kind to him.

Kirr likes the fine fare that Barbatos cooks, although he laments not being able to win “the mind game” against the butler, who he spends many hours staring coolly at.

Theo and Barbatos spend many an evening chatting about the best way to maintain the most perfect state of cleanliness.

The strong smell of detergent follows Barbatos sometimes, and Verine can never bring himself too close to the demon.  However, he has to begrudgingly admit that if it weren’t for the overwhelming stench of chemicals, he would be breathing in a suffocating cloud of dust particles, so he has to thank the butler for that.

Jamie gives Barbatos many good recipes for fruit pies and Youssef can’t wait to try all the (possibly) delicious recipes that Barbatos recites to him.  

Ghilley, unfortunately, finds it very difficult to sneak up on the butler, for Barbatos has seen all Ghilley’s attempts to scare him in all the timelines he has observed. 

Diavolo

This bumbling idiot is the ruler of the Devildom? thinks Ethan with great distaste.  However dignified Diavolo might be, Ethan cannot see past the blindingly cheerful mask he puts on and finds it most undignified.

A fellow royal!  How is Louis supposed to resist striking a long-winded conversation?  Diavolo entertains Louis’ pompous and overbearing self and they find each other most delightful.

Licht positively drools over Diavolo’s demon form outfit.  Just how he is pulling off that much style?

Quincy finds much enjoyment in disrespecting the Prince of the Devildom to no end and is always disappointed when Diavolo responds to his insults with a tolerating smile.

The Prince of Demons and the son of the Demon Lord are titles that are essentially the bane of Ell’s existence, but he manages to be most respectful toward him, even though he is shaking in his shoes and wondering when all their interactions will come to and end.

Day lived like a king in his past life and is not even remotely fazed by the enormous amount of finery found in the Demon Lord’s Castle.  He is, however, enamored with the Little D’s, who, when not insulting him, are great fun!

Diavolo’s lifestyle of luxury is basically Mori’s dream, so he takes every opportunity to make notes of the expensive furniture and ancient pieces.

Noah and Youssef like how down-to-Earth Diavolo is, despite his high position.  They feel as if he has something to hide, but for the most part, he is a jolly fellow and they enjoy his company.

Skul5 Information

Skul5 is an Idol Unit that was first formed before their official debut of the Dream Festival in 20XX (2020). Their main genre of music is rock (both indie and heavy), but they have experimented with other known genres such as rap, hip-hop, and even funk. The Unit comprises of 9 members. (5 official members and 4 back-up members to substitute the official members.) But let us cover only the official members.

Ryuji Sakamoto’s Skull’s first debut in music was in a series of videos he and his friends with the help of ATLUS made known as Dancing in Starlight. ATLUS and a young girl in blue claimed that these videos were made as a tribute to Dancing All Night, a segment that was made by idol Rise Kujikawa and her friends for the Love Meets Bonds Festival. This lead to Ryuji’s Skull’s honorary idol debut during a New Year’s Even celebration in Shibuya by the idol group, Kanamin Kitchen. With the help of his friend, the newly appointed CEO of Oscorp Industries, Harry Osborn, he performed with the Idol Unit, KUROFUNE. Then, he made his official Idol debut with his first written song, Treasured Hearts. Then, he participated in his first Dream Festival where he came in 3rd Place and went from Rookie Idol to True Idol with his new song, KEEP RUNNIN’ DREAM. Then, in the Dream FES the next year, Ryuji Skull had formed his own Idol Unit, Skul5, and they came in 2nd Place with their song, Hurricane.

Ichiro and Nobu Okamoto

Bio

Ichiro and Nobu Okamoto are twins who normally live with their parents and grandparents who normally live in a town not too far from Tokyo. However, due to their idol training, they moved in with a family friend to be closer to D-Four Production. They both joined the Idol Unit, Margin Horizon. However, after their first Dream FES, both twins were dropped. However, Ryuji Skull saw potential and recruited them into his Unit. Both twins are fun loving and are skilled athletes. But they do have their own individual style. Ichiro is shown to be the more cooler twin while Nobu is a little more outgoing and friendly.

Bio

Matsu Oka grew up living at a shrine owned by his grandfather with his parents, his older sister, and younger twin brothers. He, like the rest of his family, would be trained to become a priest at the shrine. However, his grandfather saw his path lead somewhere outside of the temple. Oka showed that he liked music and he went on to become an Idol. He later joined the Idol Unit, StarRescue, until they did their final performance in Destinyland. Since then he went on to join Skul5 as its forth member.

Azuki Arai does not speak mostly of himself outside of the time he was in middle school and high school. In middle school he was friends with Haruhi Fujioka, a young woman who would become the wife of Tamaki Suoh, the president of the Ouran Host Club and currently a highly successful businessman. During his summers off, he would work at his uncle’s produce store in Karuizawa. It was at Karuizawa that he was scouted and became an Idol, moving to Tokyo for training at D-Four Productions. So far, he only appeared on stage as a substitute for certain Idol until he was officially recruited into a Unit, Skul5, and made his official debut at his first Dream FES. Arai is also shown to be intelligent, industrious, thoughtful and tolerant.

Azuki seriously resents being sent out like a damn errand boy. That task is much better suited to the likes of Krillin, but she's not in the general habit of arguing with Bulma (usually turns out to be completely not worth it). That's left her with the unpalatable direction of going to retrieve Tenshinhan while Krillin picks up Yamcha, which, frankly, is fine with her, because time spent with Yamcha is more than her patience can take on an average day.

"It's been a while!" At least a few years, wasn't it? Probably since the last Budoukai. She didn't compete (Nobu insisted it wasn't fair for her to), but she's been an avid fan of martial arts exhibitions, which is about the greatest exposure to actual fighting at her level she tends to find on Earth. She does not give any notice to the waterfall surging behind him, just hovers a few feet away with her arms crossed. "You're being paged, let's go."

Kadokawa Games has announced Root Film, the next entry in its mystery adventure series for PlayStation 4 and Switch. It will launch this spring in Japan for 6,800 yen.

Here are the details:

■ About Root Film

In Root Film, the voice actor idol unit i☆Ris sings the theme song and play the roles of the main characters, while ladies’ man voice actor Wataru Komada plays the role of the male protagonist. Additionally, the game is produced by Yoshimi Yasuda, who launched the Kadokawa Games mystery adventure series; written and directed by Hifumi Kouno, who has a reputation for working on adventure games; and features character design by Taro Mino, who also worked on the previous game Root Letter. Look forward to a new mystery title set in Shimane told by two protagonists, Rintarou Yagumo and Riho.

■ Story: Murderous Intent Hidden in 29.97 Frames

Spirited young filmmaker Rintarou Yagumo is involved in a new TV project—a mystery drama production set in Shimane that also served as tourism promotion for the prefecture. It has been 10 years since the original pilot was shot, and while the project was discontinued for unknown reasons, plans for a revival seems to be in place. One of the characteristics of this project is that it is a competition between three filmmakers, and each filmmaker shoots using a different actress as the protagonist. Yagumo is excited to learn that the other two filmmakers are famous directors. Before long, Yagumo and the staff members head off to go pre-location scouting, but a murder occurs at their destination…

■ Characters

Rintarou Yagumo (voiced by Wataru Komada)

An up-and-coming young filmmaker.

Rintarou Yagumo is a poor filmmaker with a small, personal office. While he manages to make a living by occasionally making small promotional videos and sham psychic DVDs, he is not satisfied with his current situation and is always trying to improve himself. He recently won awards at the “6-Minute Film Festival,” “Asia Movie Competition,” and so on, and is garnering attention as an up-and-coming filmmaker.

Riho (voiced by Himika Akaneya)

The other protagonist.

The other protagonist, who is cheerful and often laughing. She was scouted in high school and transferred to another high school in Tokyo. She studied acting alongside her school studies and made her debut at 17 years-old. While it was a sober debut due to the fact that she signed with a small office, she is gradually gaining value within the industry for her talent as an actor.

Aine Magari (voiced by Yuu Serizawa)

The caring assistant.

A foul-mouthed assistant who works for Yagumo Pictures. She is extremely skilled in the use of editing software and equipment. While she has a bad attitude and the air of a former delinquent, she is a good girl at heart. She takes notice of the smaller details and often looks after Yagumo.

Hitoha Amakata (voiced by Kubota Miyu)

A small office idol.

An idol signed with a small office. She is one of the three actors chosen as the leads for the Shimane mystery drama project. Yagumo chooses her as a partner and together they travel around Shimane’s various locations.

Kyouichi Kanade (voiced by Azuki Shibuya)

The super beautiful cameraman.

A cameraman who often hangs out with Yagumo. While he may still be learning, he has courage and cameraman will-power, and since cameramen tend to ask for a lot of money, he is a saving grace for the poor Yagumo. He is a quiet and takes pride in his work. He always comes off as somewhat sleepy.

Tomie Ao (voiced by Yuuki Wakai)

Riho’s friend.

Riho’s friend from high shcool and a freshman at Shimane University. She is studying the work of Yakumo Koizumi. She moved to Shimane during high school. She has a deep love for her father, and can sometimes be strongly opinionated. She is cute, but does not have much of a fashion sense.

Ayane Kotoshiro (voiced by Saki Yamakita)

A friendly and strong-willed girl.

A girl from the esteemed Kotoshiro family of Shimane. She is simple-minded and friendly, but can also be strong-willed and selfish. She is dating Kazuya Makida, who works for her, and even thinks she wants to get married.

■ Game System

One of the defining systems of Root Film is “Synesthesia Mode.” During conversation, words that have been singled out as “words that should not be forgotten” in your subconscious will appear on screen. The keywords you acquire can be used as part of your hand in “Max Mode.”

Max Mode is a debate between the protagonist and other characters in the game, which occurs in the resolution chapters you switch over to as you progress through the game. While this mode is carried over from Root Letter, it has the appearance of a fighting game and the system has been completed renewed.

Another characteristic of Root Film is the stylish user interface and text design themed around film work under the supervision of Hifumi Kouno.

■ First-Print Purchase Bonus DVD: “i☆Ris x Root Film Treasured Footage Collection”

First-print copies of Root Film will include a “i☆Ris x Root Film Treasured Footage Collection,” a bonus DVD of the i☆Ris concert at Kadokawa Games Grand Festival 2019 and a behind-the-scenes look at the studio recording of the Root Film theme song.

■ Root Film Theme Song: “Utakata no Hikari”

i☆Ris, who play the roles of the main characters in Root Film, are also the singers of the game’s original theme song. The theme song “Utakata no Hikari,” which was first unveiled at Kadokawa Games Grand Festival 2019, is a mature ballad with an air of suspense. Please look forward to a mature i☆Ris that is not often seen.

On March 27, 2020, a Root Film Premiere Event will be held in Kaguraza, Tokyo ahead of the game’s spring 2020 release. Consumers who pre-order Root Film will be invited to attend by lottery. Both Yuu Serizawa and Kubota Miyu will appear.

General Appearance: Her hair is long like both her parents, that starts off brown like Osakabehime’s but slowly fades into silver like Seimei’s does. It’s very soft and silky hair. Along with that, her tail also follows this pattern a bit, with a bushy golden tail that has flakes of silver dotting it. She is overall rather thin, and petite; as well as much more athletic than both of her parents in that regard. Overall, she is a rather beautiful fox girl, befitting of her cute name of Bean Princess

Personality: She’s a bit feisty for her attitude, not willing to take crap from people. But she is rather nice and lovely, if a little lonely because of her fox nature. Loyal to a massive degree, she will fight for people she considers her friends.Also she probably really likes anime and doujins, courtesy of her Mother.

Special Talents: Taking talents from both her parents, Azuki is skilled in Magecraft like Seimei, but also really good at shapeshifting like Osakabehime. While not an expert like either of her parents, the multi-talents makes her more well-rounded. Aaaand she has a bit of an eye for art too.

Who they like better: Osakabehime gets a bit more love from her daughter, because her Mum is soft, and gives her lots of love in return.

Who they take after more: A bit of Seimei more, because she’s a little more confrontational than Osakabehime is.

Personal Head canon: She has a bit of a knack for getting along with Oni, and this results in her closest friends being Oni more than any other species.
