Continuation of this post about a game featuring Lasko as a guide thingy

We continue on the Lasko part but I have other stuff for other characters.

(warning for long, I'm just yapping)

Recap:

I had an idea that in a dating sim Lasko could be the little mascot thingy that gives you the dumbass tutorial, he pops up whenever the game needs to let you know something of when you ask for a hint. All of this is said in the post I made before.

To newer stuff we go!

Like said prior if you are nice to him he will take a liking to you, the player, and in the second playthrough he will start giving you free stuff. If you continue to be nice and accept his gifts he will appear as a new route in the third playthrough, this won't happen if you choose Huxley in the second or first times you play.

After this if you play again the screen will show a small pop-up tell you that a new character has been added and Lasko will appear for you to romance like any other boyo.

He will accidentally break the fourth wall a couple of time but if you don't comment on it he will secretly pass you another gift, kind of like how a grandma passes you money under the table.

Another ending

If you keep disregarding him in the first playthrough and eventually turn off the guide in the settings he will grow bitter. Do this enough times and he will straight up pull a Monika and trap you in the screen scolding you for not listening to the guide and missing out on good things by being mean to him, after all, he does have feelings too.

How do you stop this ending? Close the game and reopen but making amends with the guide won't be posible anymore.

Other details

I thought that having little areas where you can find the characters would be fun, so, there's a map with different areas that the boys will be at. Of course their spots change but you could notice a pattern of their fav places to be (or you could ask Lasko if you are good pals with him), you'll find a chibi version of them chilling in a spot. (If you've met them before, if you haven't they won't appear.)

Some places are the Shaw's den thingy, there are several seven elevens, D.A.M.N. (which you can enter and navigate), two parks, the ruins of WonderWorld and other locations that have a set number of times that you are allowed to enter.

One being CloseKit, this place you can enter only when there's a public meeting or when you've befriended Blake.

hi! so.. i'm gonna try and be as honest as i can with this post. i'm gonna address some questions (that no one has asked but i feel are necessary to talk about) because i kind of just don't want to lie anymore lol

Q: first off, why has this blog been so inactive?:

A: er. a couple reasons. recently, my mental health has been going through a lot of ups and downs, along with the fact i've been trying to focus on things irl like friends, grades, etc. most of the time i just don't.. have time to write or do stuff for this blog. i wish i could, i promise. i'm just dealing with my own issues daily.

the second reason is. well. few people are interested in this anymore. few of us still even have interest in midori. i mean, maybe we do. just not as much as before. its okay, things change over the course of 6-7 ish months. i understand that and i'm not going to try to push it anymore

Q: what do i plan to do with this blog?

A: okay. i'm gonna be as honest as i can with this. i have no fucking clue. i've been thinking about like final bit of lore posts and just simple goodbye posts for a while. i've also been thinking about just completely resetting and completely disregarding the lore and starting over. as tempting as this is, others and i have (probably) poured a lot of time into thinking about and writing our characters' lore and wouldn't be the happiest to just throw it all away. idk. you tell me what you think.

i've also been thinking really hard about just making a new ask blog. or just repurposing this one. not sure yet, i want some other people's opinion first. i just want to start a new ask/rp blog. preferably with a different character. mostly because my y/ttd hpfx has been. non existant. haha..

Q: anything else i want to talk about?

A: this isn't really a question, i know. i just wanted an excuse to yap some more.

along with the apology above, i'd also like to thank you all!! i'm so happy you all stuck with me for so long. honestly, i've been.. really uncomfortable with this blog. by that i mean it's just been really stressful to think about what i'm going to do with it. i don't want to throw away the thing i love, the thing that brought me out of a bad mental state. but it can't last forever, i know.

anyway! i'm also kinda curious about something. if i were to make a new ask or rp blog would you guys be interested...

FIRST POST WOOO!!!! however, i did not expect my first ever post to be me being shocked about the internet lately...

this post is somewhat of a literary analysis (that no one asked for) on wilbur soot's "apology" that was initially posted to twitter.

WARNINGS ;; talking about abusive behaviour in a relationship , nothing else..?

first of all, wtf is going on with that wilbur soot guy? i've heard of him before since my friend watches him but recently on twitter all i've seen is messy apologies, proof of horrid behaviour, and straight up abuse. yeah yeah, twitter does have the common ground of cancelling people but this isn't even cancelling. this shit is actually straight up abuse and there's so much about wilbur's behaviour towards shelby (i think that's her name?) and his aggressive behaviour towards other streamers he is/was friends with.

i can't say much on the topic of streamers since i don't watch any and i'm just a quirked up enstarrie, but all this baffles me. also his apology... let me just whip it out because oh my gee what is this shit... correction, actually, it isn't an apology at all. it is evident in the text that he is avoiding anything to do with a proper apology. the "apology" itself seems to have been written on a whim, with no sense of direction other than to simmer down the situation and make him, wilbur, to be less of a bad guy in this situation. also wilbur, you could've picked a better font than that buddy.

his apology starts off with a sense of composure, and the writing is decent. however the hook to his apology letter starts with the time frame and the allegations made instead of starting off with accountability. his second sentence tries to give emphasis that he won't disregard anyone's feelings on this situation. let's just keep in mind that this is evidently a lie of sorts (funnily enough). next he expresses how he has taken his sweet sweet time to give us this statement from him.

he then goes on about the ending chapters of his relationship with shelby, saying that he truly was being a little maniac in the last moments. i won't go on much about this second paragraph since it's just him trying to justify himself as a changed individual when that really is not evident in clips of what he's done to other people/others discussing him.

the third paragraph is really where we take a bite from the inedible whopper he has conjured. it speaks about the main topic of this whole drama; the abuse. "Throughout our relationship, I understood from our numerous conversations and text message exchanges on the subject, that this behaviour was consensual, playful and reciprocally enjoyed.". well, wilbur, it clearly was not. also let me point out how this man has yapped this entire apology and dragged out every topic to make his points sound professionally written. the second half of the first paragraph consists of how he's oh-so respectful of privacy and oh-so sympathetic to the people who are angry at him. the two points of addressing the allegations and his one-sentence apology are in the same paragraph. he ends this mighty big mac of a paragraph with "I want to extend my sincerest apologies for any pain that I caused.". buddy, you lost me at "want to". clearly, this sounds forced. just because he wants to doesn't mean he is. if you want to apologize like a true grown ass man, you have to learn how to phrase it to sound at least a bit more genuine. all the ways he's phrased his sentences has made it seem as though he's trying very hard to convey words that can earn a shred of sympathy from others.

the fourth and final paragraph wraps this whole short letter up into an ugly bouquet with flowers on the verge of wilting. the first sentence highlights his (obviously false) willingness to understand and address the victim and anyone else's concerns. then more yapping about how he hopes people will consider his perspective useful to this whole situation. well by golly, mate, no! the last ever sentence is just him trying to paint himself as someone who's going through the most insane character development arc ever. no. just... no.

i know my perspective on wilbur's horrid apology is not as note-worthy as those who have known about this man for a while, but i am simply just highlighting things from a literature perspective. i am sorry if this isn't helpful or if anything i said has been interpreted wrong.

I’m definitely going to write her at some point, but I’m gonna hold off until I can nail her characterization. Wilbur ran over to the blonde looper who was strangely determined about whatever the fuck he abruptly agreed to during negotiations with Dream and his team. Tommy didn't answer him and instead threw the door of the van open and went straight to an enderchest.

"Tommy! Are you even hearing me???"

The blonde just rolled his eyes as he took out several absurdly floofy pink tutus out of the enderchest. Wilbur and the rest of L'manberg look onwards at the scene with wide eyes and for some, gaping maws. Tubbo speaks up with a sliver of hesitance in his language.

"Wha-"

"Yeah yeah, yap on Wilbur. We have a war to win. Wear these, bitches." He interrupted, throwing the tutus at everyone. They all looked at him incredulously as they unwillingly caught them. Wilbur's tutu managed to smack him in the face which everyone snorted at.

Tommy looked at them all annoyed. "Hurry up, we still have to go over musical numbers before shit officially starts."

Niki sputtered. "T-this is ridiculous! What do frilly tutus and musical numbers have to do with us at WAR??"

Eret scratched his chin. "Well, I don't really mind the tutus but why the musical numbers and all that?"

Tommy sagged and dramatically groaned. Fundy just looked resigned, staring off in space. "We agreed-"

"YOU agreed."

"-to his declaration of a musical ballet war. Therefore we must go by the terms and out dance AND out sing that bastard and his team."

"T-THAT! THAT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE???" Wilbur yelled confused.

"Tommy- We're at WAR! With DREAM! Theres no way in hell that fucker won't just make up some bullshit liie this to humiliate us in battle!"

"Can I have a blue one? I'm not much of a pink person..." Fundy asked, ignoring Wilbur entirely. Tommy beamed and took the tutu currently in his hand, swapping it out for a sparkly blue one with star glitter.

"I made this one in case my original one got ripped but suppose you can have it now!"

"ARE YOU LISTENING TO ME?????" Wilbur fumed.

"Though, if you're gonna wear that, I suppose you have to be my co-leader for the musical number. Blue tutu's are for main leads. Hope you don't mind."

Fundy sighed. "Tommy, if I'm being honest, you were weird before and you're even more now. Seeing as you took care of me the most as a kid, I've learned to no question much about it and go with the flow. Let's beat Dream's ass!"

"I bet he and his team can't dance either way so lets do it bossman!" Said Tubbo excitedly. He at the moment doesn't undertsand shit about what's going on at the moment but hell if he can't join the chaos!

"Atta boys Tubs! Let's get ready people! We have a Green Teletubby and his shitty dance crew to beat!" Tommy declared proudly.

Slipping his own tutu on, Tubbo and Fundy follow his lead and run out of the van. Still in shock, Wilbur just stands there befuddled before Niki and Eret shout for them to wait as they put on their tutus, running outside to follow the rambunctious blonde.
