U guys know I Enjoy Rocky Horror but also if I have 2 see one more person claim that to criticize it even slightly is Literally Destroying Queer History I will explode the earth. Like yes Not All Representation Has To Be Perfect or whatever but also I don't think lightly critiquing a very popular to this day film's portrayal of trans people is going to Destroy Queer History With Woke Cancel Culture I think Rocky Horror, the movie, the inanimate object, can deal with it

Talking a little bit about 'boycotting Eurovision' under Keep Reading, feel free to scroll down if is not what you want to see.
The most used argument on the matter of banning Israel from Eurovision is the fact that Russia got banned from Eurovision, which is the worst argument anyone could bring.
Kindly reminder that Russia didn't get banned because of the war with Ukraine. Russia got banned because many countries has threatened to withdraw from the competition. Sadly, that's a big difference.
Yes, the countries has threatened to withdraw because they support Ukraine and see Russia as the party in the wrong. That was their reason. EBU's reason for banning Russian was because those countries threatened to withdraw, not because the war was bad and Russia must be stopped.
This situation isn't the same. Why? Because many countries support Israel in their genocide. Because this time around Palestine is the party in the wrong. Because we're taught to believe that Israel isn't in the wrong here.**
Boycotting Eurovision won't work. There are people out there who don't know the truth and want to watch Eurovision. There are people out there who don't care and will watch Eurovision regardless of the situation. There are people out there who, despite having the facts, still don't see Israel as the bad guy in this situation and will watch Eurovision. Sadly, boycotting won't work unless everyone does it.
The only way Israel will get banned, in my opinion, is by going through the same thing as Russia. If other countries threatened to withdraw- and not any countries, but the ones investing the most in Eurovision, then yes. That will get Israel banned.
Otherwise? The only thing we do is hurt artists that don't deserve it. Artists who use Eurovision as a way to get more exposure and experience. Artists who deserve to be heard.
Don't vote for Israel's entry. Don't stream their song either. Heck, turn off the TV when is their turn to perform.
**This whole situation (the war, not Eurovision) isn't only black and white. Civilians die daily because of this, all of them from both sides. Innocent people who has no fault. Let's not forget that

Okay, so the Professor Birthday cast list is Jaime, both Brians, Dylan, Joey, Lauren, and Jamie. We know who Jaime, Brolden, and Dylan are playing.
So who do we think everyone else is gonna be? I'm guessing we're going to get the Easter Bunny and Cupid, and even though she's not really "holiday" themed I'm gonna say the Tooth Fairy as well after her initial name-drop in Episode 1. My main guess for the fourth character is St. Patrick, though I could also see Punxsutawney Phil.
(Or alternatively, maybe one of them will end up playing a student at Professor Birthday's University? That's the part of the world-building that doesn't really make sense to me yet--how can she have a functioning university and still be that unknown--so it would be cool to see that explored.
Dylan as Santa was pretty obvious, but other than that it's kinda' hard to guess casting since we don't know what Eric's take on these different characters is going to be. But on the whole my vaguely educated guess is:
Brosenthal--St. Patrick (not gonna lie, this is purely based off of the Irish FBI boss in SiS)
Joey--Cupid (UNHINGED)
Lauren--The Easter Bunny
Jamie--The Tooth Fairy
(I'm also vaguely suspicious of a surprise Meredith cameo in some sort of small-but-ultimately-pivotal role.)
Can't wait to watch this post age incredibly poorly!

Oohhh god. I feel the fatigue in my body already. I had forgotten just how much garbage comes forth whenever you move houses. So many old notes and small receipts and broken hair ties and old leaflets and stuff. I've gone downstairs to throw out trash about four times today, and there's a little more gathered now but it's too little to justify putting on a bra again to go out. I wore my bra all day long today cause it was out of the question doing packing with my Ds unsupported, and about an hour ago I went like "I'm done for today", took it off and had dinner, so it's not coming back on for today XD
I think I'm more than halfway done - that's not counting my electric piano. I need one more person to help with packing that one cause that damn keyboard is big and heavy. The big appliances are just going to go in the car as they are. I'm probably going to get a furnished apartment so all the appliances will have to fit somewhere in my parents' place, so they won't go far, so no need to pack and bubble-wrap those.
My main problem is the dishes and cutlery. I can't pack them yet cause I need to eat tomorrow and on Monday. I'll never get over my fear of packing fragile plates cause what if I drop the box. I mean they barely cost 3 euros each but still. Who deals with that.
I may actually have to go buy some bubble wrap for those on Monday. Oof. So much stuff to do on Monday and only Monday as it's probably going to be my last day in this apartment. My mother offered to help arrange the final stuff, like cut off water and electricity, give back the keys to my landlady, and pick up the appliances I won't take in the new place, so I have a lot of help in that department, but I pretty much have to have everything settled from my side by Monday evening.
It really is that the stress of whether I'd get a job left and the stress of moving out set in. At least it's a little more hopeful this time. If I get a cheap apartment, I can put some money aside all year long so next time I'll have to move I can just rent a van and not worry about trunk space.
Oof. It will be a few intense days until I'm settled and get accustomed to the new place and job. But it's for a good change. I'm so happy the temperature has dropped cause boy I don't know what I would have otherwise XD
Anyway just an update, mostly for me to feel validated for today and encourage myself for tomorrow. Still lots of stuff to put away and decide which box they're going in. Tomorrow I'm continuing the packing, then resting and ordering my favourite pasta dish which I'll probably take TOO LONG to eat again cause it's only from a specific restaurant here and I don't know when I'll be back to taste it again T_T
I'm actually going to miss this town. I didn't love it enough to be like "This should be my forever home!" but I did grow accustomed to it pretty quick. There are lots of things I'll think about it fondly... but the great part about the new place is that it's a twenty-minute (and cheap!) bus ride from the sea. And I've missed walking down a beach or seaside town. That'll definitely fill some of my weekends XD
