What an awful curse to be a person who theoretically loves maximalism but hates seeing stuff that has been stored outside cupboards, hates dusting, is terrified of somehow decorating The Wrong Way and being laughed at, is extremely clumsy, and has no real motivation to purchase nicknacks

#I know we often talk about the opposite problem (chaotic maximalists) but I'd say with the exception of books I'm a reluctant minimalist #Oh the life I could have if I weren't an absolute mess and therefore react badly to having more than four objects in a room to take care of #I just look at other people's pictures of cluttered cosy rooms and sigh #I love it in other people's homes and spaces but the minute I try to be decorative in my own I shrink back like a snail #I will sit comfortably in my very boring white empty walls and perish for lack of imagination and colour #But it's stressful if there are small things to get broken or need dusted all the time #And I like clear spaces #My brother keeps coming in like 'Oh your house isn't so bad you could just decorate a bit more' #I want to #But I also believe that will spell disaster and possibly some stubbed toes #I see cool little ornaments and pictures and stuff and think 'Oh yeah maybe some other time though' #And end up living in what I would in any other case describe as bland white wall grey carpet hell #I have become the Man #I feel so horrid and vanilla and BORING #What is the POINT of being an annoying opinionated aggressively passionate about niche things little horror #If that doesn't at least translate einto some interesting decor #Turns out I'm a big old suburban coward #It's so sterile in here #Earth & Stone

thinking about how buck ripped eddie's shirt open in 4x14, and thinking about how functionally (clinically) unnecessary that was because all he needed to do was put pressure on the wound right. that was the main point, he just needed to staunch the bleeding long enough to get eddie to the hospital alive.

but there's something about buck literally tearing the last barrier between him and eddie's bare skin, about him reaching for the proof that eddie's still alive under his hands, and there's something about him purposely staining his hands with eddie's blood to keep him alive, and of him making sure he's the one to do it. and there's something about seeing the raw gunshot wound, and feeling the edges of it under his palm even with gauze between them.

and then there's something about buck's other hand not even being able to touch eddie's face, even though it's completely poised as if he's about to cup the side of eddie's head. a little like feeling he doesn't deserve to touch eddie gently while he's causing him pain by pressing the wound, idk.

now an argument could be made that maybe he was trying to prevent the shirt from getting stuck in the wound, or he was using something sterile to put pressure, but this is tv, and immediately after eddie's taken into surgery, we see someone else that's been shot, putting pressure over her wound by herself, through the shirt.

anyway just thoughts about buck tearing eddie's shirt open, reaching for eddie's vitality and staining himself with it ◡̈

no and that's what i don't understand either? cause i guess, sure, on some level he's big upping himself by implying/saying that if the team hadn't caused those problems for him, he would be leading the championship. but at the same time, when this is such a team sport and there's so many things completely out of the driver's control, it feels like playing with fire to over and over again, completely unnecessarily and for weeks on end, blame them for problems that either aren't their fault at all or aren't that clear cut. and that feels doubly true for a team like red bull where, at least from the outside looking in, the team culture feels very "either you're with us or you're thrown to the wolves."

i've been thinking a LOTTTT about clockwork/natalie's dynamic within the mansion. which has surprised me because i was never like. a huge clockwork fan back in the day. but now i look at her and cannot stop thinking about the Possibilities. the Dynamics......

i've mentioned this briefly but i've taken Some creative liberties with her backstory, largely when it comes to her final transformation because i think the transformation aspects in most creepypastas are. bad. especially ones that don't deal with supernatural elements in any way and suddenly throw something in out of left field. so for my purposes, natalie always had green eyes and they do not somehow gain the ability to glow in the dark post her surgery. i'm unsure quite what i want to do with her vision, but she is half-blind due to missing her left eye. i'm debating between making her right eye have cataracts, visual snow syndrome, or be partially blind in a way, but either way her vision was left in a Pretty Bad State after the fact.

so obviously she has. pretty bad medical trauma because of the botched surgery, on Top of everything else that happened to her. which creates an interesting issue when placed in the mansion. she's super hostile and aggressive to jeff, jack, and ben specifically, overly protective towards nina and sally (esp sally), and overall just needs a lot more time to unpack and settle down compared to everyone else. it's only really with the help of tim that she even begins to start opening up (tim can sympathize with her trauma when it comes to the mental health field), but even then it still takes a Long while and multiple physical altercations. idk why i've imprinted onto natalie so much all of a sudden but she is like a scared animal 2 me now. she doesn't mean to bite she just doesn't know any other way, yknow?

this is a private headcanon i've had for awhile and i've decided to bite the bullet and finally post it ( and hopefully tag it correctly )

given the opportunity during her time in the partisans or soon after, jyn likely would have medically ensured that she wouldn't be able to have children. i'm not going to go into too much detail because this might be triggering but basically, in any verse where this is possible, she doesn't want biological children or to get pregnant, so she ensures that it won't happen. this is a consensual decision and one she doesn't regret over the course of her lifetime. despite that, in any sexual encounters, she does always use proper contraception.
