Re: Female led tokusatsu - I remember a short series called Rosetta the Masked Angel that might have been made to flesh out the backstory of a female Japanese pro wrestler, sort of like Tiger Mask or Jushin Thunder Liger. Whether it’s any good, I can’t say because I’ve yet to watch it. But it did end up on Laser Disc format, so that has to count for something about the popularity, considering how pricey those things are. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I've heard of this one but I don't know much about it. I feel like I remember someone I know watching it and disliking it? but I can't remember why that was so it might have been a matter of taste

re: writing characters who use AAC devices
so, I'm writing a yakuza thing where everyone is a pro wrestler and most of them are queer and/or disabled and/or neurodivergent, and at some point my brain went like "what if we made So Amon nonverbal who uses AAC device" (there's something about the Amons not being voiced (with the exception of Jo in 6, so he's semi-verbal) that made me go like "!!!!!!"). The first time So spoke I used something along the lines of "They hear a voice coming out of So's device", followed by what So's saying. And then in next segments I'm planning to refer to it as just "So said". That felt like most appropriate, because while I could have *characters* characterize the voice as "robotic", doing so in author speech felt wrong, and not everyone know what AAC device is (characters AND readers alike) so it felt best to leave it at "device" and elaborate later
(for context: I'm disabled and neurodivergent, but not nonverbal)
i love you--
HEHEHE yeah that's!! exactly how i think it should be done :) i think if you would describe, say for example, the way someone's voice is wavering, or how they pause to think - then it's fair to do the same with AAC, like describing the process of typing, if they're tapping angrily, slowly, etc. but for the actual dialogue tags, yeah, i prefer seeing/using just the same as everyone else gets, unless there's a narrative reason like highlighting the character's own feelings.
i think one important thing to establish about the device itself is whether it's word-based or picture-based; picture-based is what i use, since it supports my kind of difficulties best - on a day i've had a seizure or something i can't remember even basic words, so i can't just type them out. word-based is basically the same as typing on any regular device, but (often) with features specifically designed for retrieval of words and phrases and of course, reading them aloud
an example of picture-based in japanese is something like this:
Tumblr media
where i'd... assume? each of these is a folder leading into other buttons, rather than buttons on their own, because... well, 8 buttons communicates almost nothing. picture-based AAC should be able to communicate as much as any speaking person can with their voice - that includes vulgarity if they so choose, and especially includes anatomical words like penis. (there are actually people who think this is controversial. i hate those people!)
here on the other hand is a japanese word-based AAC device:
Tumblr media
i couldn't tell you what all of these buttons do LMAO but it looks like you spell your words out by kana, you have the dakuten and handakuten to modify, and i'm assuming the 小 allows for the typing of small kana for combinations like ぴょ
customisability between AAC devices can really differ with the program - the one i use has a collection of like... maybe 40 or 50 different english voices, in a variety of accents and ages, both male and female, and i can change the colour palettes and pictures for pretty much everything, but some will have more limits; especially the word-based above, i'm not really sure how that would be customisable. still, that can add some fun character too, in that a man could choose to use a female voice, or they might use cute character images in place of the default for words like "eat" and "happy".
...i went on a whole ramble hehehe.

Now for the first time in its nearly 50 year history some members of the voting committee decided to vote a women’s match as a MOTYC, Stardom’s house style has been purposely changed to emulate more the “epic matches” that have been a staple of NJPW main events and the last year of NOAH especially. Over the last two years, talk about Stardom has increased with popular wrestling critics and wrestlers, and it has quickly become seen as one of the top promotions in the world. But did Stardom suddenly become a top-tier promotion, or did Bushiroad create a Pick Me Girl that has successfully pandered to groups of adult men that think so highly of this singular “epic match” style that it’s the only way they view wrestling as being great?
This entry also touches on how being a female athlete is qualified by how unattractive or attractive you are. Stardom has recognition because it toes the line of acceptable female behavior. Not being as threatening as the men, not stepping out of line with gendered expectations of women.

Seisan Matchi - Yoshiko vs Act Yasakawa
In 2015, Joshi Wrestling was experiencing something of a renaissance thanks to a wealth of both experienced and up and coming wrestlers under various promotions across Japan. Stardom is consistently recognised as one of the premier Joshi Puroresu companies in Japan and has had established the careers of wrestlers such as Io Shirai, Kairi Hojo (Kairi Sane in WWE) and Mayu Iwatani to name but a few. Since its inception in 2010. They were always known for high quality matches that would outshine the US companies at the time who were still establishing their women’s wrestling as they moved away from the era of the Diva.
Throughout the 80’s and 90’s, Joshi Puroresu was always well respected, not just in Japan but across the world as talents would travel into the US and perform for WWF and WCW, most notably Bull Nakano who won the then WWF women’s title in 1994. And in reverse, there was a wealth of US talent that would travel to Japan to ply their trade with their Japanese peers, learning the style that was much more than the glamour of the American counterparts. Women such as Madusa (Alundra Blayze), Monster Ripper and Amazing Kong (later Awesome Kong) would establish themselves within the Joshi system despite being Gaijin (foreigners).
World Wonder Ring Stardom – known more commonly as Stardom – was founded in 2010 by former All Japan Women producer Rossy Ogawa, retired wrestler Fuka Kakimoto (known as Fuka) and professional wrestler Nanae Takahashi (known as Nanae). Although Stardom prides itself in hard hitting matches and work rate, it has previous come under fire for its unfair approach to pushing its female stars, placing a huge emphasis on the attractiveness of its stars to promote the company. This would be considered common within the Joshi system as the majority of the people that are attending the shows are male. Usually around 70% of the fanbase at shows are male, but in counter to that New Japan shows, which have Male only talent, the fan base is around 60% female.
This emphasis on attractiveness and professional jealousy is what is believed to be the main reason for what happened on February 22nd, 2015 at Tokyo’s Korakuen Hall at a Stardom event which was contested for the World of Stardom Championship.
Yoshiko Hirano was born July 26th, 1993. At the time of the incident, she was 21 years old. She was trained by Stardom founders Nanae and Fuka, as well as her tag team partner Natsuki Taiyo and Yuu Yamagata. She was a part of Stardom’s first trainees alongside Mayu Iwatani and Yoko Bito. She was given a heel persona which followed the style of the Yankii culture, which is considered to be brash, non-conforming and disrespectful.
Yusa Yasakawa was born November 13th, 1986. She made her Pro Wrestling debut in 2012 for Stardom, for whom she wrestled exclusively during her career. She was trained by Stardom founder Fuka. She has won the World of Stardom championship twice and was forced to vacate the title on both occasions due to injuries and illness. In 2014, after several defences of her belt, she relinquishes due to complications with her thyroid which was linked to Graves Disease. She went away for cataract surgery and returned to wrestle again 12 months later.
Yoshiko was considered to be protégé of Nanae, a true monster wrestler who was moulded in the old-fashioned Joshi style that was more in place with that of the cotemporaries of All Japan women. At the time of the match, she was the World of Stardom champion. Act Yasakawa was more of a style for the newer generation of Joshi puroresu. She was smaller in stature that Yoshiko and also, from the view of those higher up in the company, considered to be more attractive and marketable than her counterpart. Both women were part of the same stable in Stardom at one point named Kawasaki Katsushika Saikyou Densetsu Plus One.
As the match begins, both women stare across the ring from each other before they eventually begin trading blows with elbows and punches connecting wildly. Yoshiko, as the bigger of the two, managed to drag Yasakawa to the ground after throwing lots of punches at her face in the corner. The referee intervenes at this point and forces a break by Yoshiko as he can see that Yasakawa is bleeding heavily from her nose and mouth. Yasakawa crawls to the corner where she is checked on by the referee and Kyoko Kimura who was at ringside. The referee goes across to Yoshiko and you can sim him making a closed fist gesture, warning her that she must not punch with a closed fist which is traditional in wrestling to protect your opponent. As Yasakawa gets treatment from her corner, the camera zooms in to Yoshiko’s welted hands. The match was barely 1 minute in from the start bell and her hands showed signs of the closed fist punches that she’s was warned of by the referee.
The match restarts and Yasakawa is still getting to her feet when Yoshiko makes her way to the centre of the ring. Yoshiko makes a grab for Yasakawa’s hair which forces her into the ropes. She manages to fight back hitting her with some punches of her own, but Yoshiko is much larger and stronger than the smaller Yasakawa and hits her with a few more punches to the head and body before taking her to the ground again. Yoshiko then continues the use palm strikes to the side of Yasakawa’s head and face before standing up and moving away for a brief moment. The clearly frustrated Act stands up, still blood running from her nose and staggered from the assault.
Act approaches Yoshiko, looking as if she tries to engage with her to cooperate but Yoshiko stands stoic, hands on hips to signify her disrespect towards her opponent. Act throws a kick towards Yoshiko’s left side, but she grabs her leg and swings another palm strike towards Yasakawa’s face which narrowly misses, and they grapple into the centre of the ring, where Yoshiko again has gained the top control. Act’s head is in between Yoshiko’s legs and unable to attack, so Yoshiko powers Act over onto her back and struggles to manoeuvre into a position to attack again before Yasakawa gets her foot onto the ropes to force a break. As the referee asks for the break, Yoshiko places herself into a push-up pose, using Yasakawa’s face and abdomen as her balance points. She is pushing down on Act’s face the majority of this and eventually gets up, which then allows her to hit a heavy kick onto Yasakawa’s back as she attempts to stand up.
In a momentary change of pace, Yoshiko whips Yasakawa off the ropes and hits a heavy shoulder block/push which sends Yasakawa flying backwards to the floor. This happens a second time but while Yasakawa is grounded, Yoshiko stomps to the back of Act’s head 3 times, 2 which connected, one which was avoided by Act in a last-ditch effort.
Yoshiko then picks up Yasakawa, driving her face into the turnbuckle pad. Act turns around but is met quickly by Yoshiko who grabs her hair and throws her into the opposite corner, following up the more strikes to the head and then applying a guillotine choke. Yoshiko tries to drag the flailing Act into the centre of the ring but Yasakawa grabs the rope and then wraps her foot around the bottom rope, forcing the referee to start a 5 count for a break.
As Yoshiko walks back to the centre of the ring, the referee seems to motion towards Act to see if she is able to continue. Yasakawa nods and tried to regain some composure before returning to the centre of the ring herself. She circles Yoshiko before swinging out at her, which Yoshiko anticipates and throws a few strikes before again getting Act onto the ground by her hair. While on the ground, Yoshiko mounts her back and begins closed fist punching to Act’s face and head again. Act spins onto her front and with Yoshiko sitting atop of her, the referee calls for another break. While getting up, Yoshiko stands her full body weight onto Yasakawa’s stomach. As she moves away, Yasakawa rolls out of the ring where she is immediately met by Kris Wolf and other ringside wrestlers.
Yasakawa’s face is heavily swollen and visible, evident from the closed fist punches and palm strikes by Yoshiko. The referee begins a count but is called to check on Act and see that she is unfit to continue the match. The Referee re-enters the ring but at this point has not drawn a conclusion to the match. Yasakawa tried to climb back into the ring to maintain her dignity but is stopped by the other ringside players and as Yasakawa screams towards Yoshiko, a towel is thrown in to signify that the fight is over. The referee refers to the bell keeper and the bell rings around the arena.
With Yasakawa still screaming at ringside angrily, Kyoko Kimura lauched herself at Yoshiko before being dragged away from her by other present players. Yasakawa was taken away to hospital where they diagnosed fractured cheek nasal and orbital bones which required surgery, with doctors being very concerned with the damage to her eyes due to her surgery the previous year.
3 days later, a press conference was held where the World of Stardom championship was vacated, and Yoshiko was suspended indefinitely. The founders took a 30% pay cut for several months and Nanae ended up leaving the company as tensions between the foundrs over the incident continued.
Although Yoshiko apologised for the incident, many questioned her motives as 3 months later she decided to retire. During the customary 10 bell salute of a retiring player, she turned her back and walked out of the ceremony.
Though the reason for the fight is still contested and speculated, the fact this this match was given the name Seisan Matchi (Ghastly Match) shows how difficult it is to watch.
Act Yasakawa retired from In-ring competition on December 23rd, 2015 as a result of her injuries but continues to work with Stardom, most recently as a manager for the Oedo Tai stable.
Yoshiko had a 5-year exodus from Stardom, working with Nanae’s company Seadlinnng since its inception in 2016. She also tried her hand at MMA with Korean company Road FC. In March 3rd, 2021 both she and Nanae returned to Stardom competing at their 10th year anniversary show, All Star Dream Cinderella. Nanae fought against Momo Watanabe coming out with a victory and Yoshiko took on Mayu Iwatani in a losing effort.
I have put a link below so you can watch the match at your discretion.

Online bullying takes another life: Hana Kimura, japanese pro wrestler dies at 22
*warning suicide triggering*
I'm sorry to have to inform you about the passing of Hana Kimura.
Hana Kimura (22) was a japanese pro wrestler who appeared in the reality tv show Terrace House. She had been severely harassed by anti fans and critics for months. Concerns about her health, started on Friday when she tweeted several photographs of injuries she had done to herself with the message: "I no longer want to live. All I ever wanted was to be loved. Thank you all. Goodbye."
Earlier today (may 23rd), We Are Stardom Agency confirmed her death. Kyoko Kimura, her mother and also a well-known Japanese pro-wrestler, has asked the public to be respectful during this difficult time.
Entertainment figures, sports reporters and fans around the world have been speaking about online harassment, bullying and the impact it has on mental health, including Tessa Blachard -first female pro wrestler World Champion- who wrote on her twitter:
It absolutely breaks my heart how cruel people can be on social media. It was an amazing honor to know Hana Kimura. She was an amazing girl with the kindest soul and immense passion and work ethic. I’m at a loss of words over this tragedy. Rest In Peace my friend.

Hana Kimura, Terrace House, and Japan
I can’t sleep with all this thinking and crying and thinking about this needless tragedy. Time to break it down and rest for the day. Trigger warning for cyberbullying, self-harm, suicidality.
1. Who was Hana Kimura?
Official intro: A 22-year old, half-Cambodian half-Japanese female pro wrestler who joins Terrace House in episode 30 of the 2019/2020 Tokyo season. Her mother is also a pro wrestler.
What happened: She passed away on 5/23/2020, official cause is not announced but suicide is strongly suspected based on her final 24 hours of social media posts, which respond to the torrent of criticism on social media directed towards her after recently aired drama.
Impressions:
Cute, bubbly, super smiley
Innocent, naive, inexperienced at relationships
Bold, straightforward, ambitious, proactive
On the grapevine: :
She recently was self harming
Minimal social contact as her work life was on hold due to coronavirus (wrestling, terrace house)
A lawsuit is underway
2. What is Terrace House?
Premise: An “unscripted” Japanese reality TV show following 6 young cohabitating housemates, typically 3 males and 3 females.
Content: The camera crew comes to film a few times a week, pull out juicy clips, get commentary from their 6-person (now 5-person) host panel, then air select segments in the official episode. Some off-camera events are potentially reenacted on filming days. Some of the unused clips are published on the internet.
Host panel: They play out imaginative scenarios, coo over cute scenes, or skewer the cringey ones. In several instances they have tried to temper excessive social media criticism against certain housemates, such as Hana.
History: 11 seasons currently out, the latest 2019/2020 in partnership with Netflix. Followed and commented on very closely in Japan, with rising popularity abroad.
3. What were the cyberbullies saying??
I don’t follow Japanese Twitter and Instagram, and reportedly people have been deleting their posts out of fear for legal action.
At the end of the day she was just a girl who wanted to be liked -- and the antis attack anything in sight (short, well-built, dark-skinned, mixed race, wrestler, bold, outspoken, KY/kuuki yomenai)
4. What’s next at Terrace House?
They’ve suspended unaired episodes starring Hana -- these were supposed to start airing on 5/25/2020 on Japanese Netflix. This is out of respect for the family, and perhaps to protect against legal action.
A select few comments on Japanese Twitter say that the episodes should be aired anyways -- these types of people exist no matter where you are in the world.
5. Personal Rant: take with salt
Negligence: Despite intentions, management of Terrace House appears to be dangerously negligent, outdated, and insufficient when it comes to the health and perceptions of the housemates. It was only a matter of time before something happened, and it would be unwise to continue the show as is. I’ll be following the legal developments.
Inclusion: I can’t help but wonder if Netflix or the TH producers were pushing too hard for a diverse, boundary-breaking cast that mainstream Japan simply wasn’t ready for
Cyberbullying: occuring in a virtual and ethereal space where sticks, stones, and words can’t hurt the assailant and apparently there are no consequences for your actions. It needs to be criminalized if not penalized.
Misconceptions on suicidality: not specific to Terrace House commentators or Japan, but people may assume that those at risk for suicide are all sad, depressive, or even lethargic. There’s this glorified image of someone sinking into a bed of despair until they inevitably fall asleep, which is incomplete in practice. Suicide attempts seem to occur at a lowered threshold for suicidal ideation, combined with a catalytic event or excessive energy that prompts action -- someone like Hana could have red flags CONCURRENTLY with her smiley, bubbly impression. For another crude metaphor, it’s like a rubberband snapping.
6. Last Rant: Japan is a real, live country.
You can love the country/culture WITHOUT keeping it on a pedestal. Not here to nitpick on Japan, just to list a few weaknesses to balance out the strengths (which seem to be exclusively reported on abroad)
Racism: They’re relatively insular but not as homogenous as some people think, and there is certainly an element of ethnic pride. Ie) Being mixed-race in Japan is associated with childhood bullying.
Feminism: Arising from traditional culture and language, female equality in Japan is currently not a role model to follow. Won’t say more, there’s also a ton to unpack here.
Politeness: Compliance with social standards doesn’t mean there aren’t any poisonous thoughts, ready to manifest in places like social media.
Science: Especially in light of the recession, many are concerned that torch of innovation has long been passed to neighbors like South Korea or China.
Another fun fact that I came across in my work: Japan only allowed live-organ donation as of 2010 (with many restrictions, despite severe organ shortage). Not a pick for world-class.

"In April 1962, a match pitting Japanese pro wrestling superstar Rikidozan and tag-team partners Toyonobori and Great Togo against American challengers Freddie Blassie, Lou Thesz, and Mike Sharpe aired nationally on Japanese television. During the bout, Blassie bit Great Togo on the forehead, opening a horrible bloody gash. Two elderly viewers, shocked by the gory sight, collapsed and died, casualties of a media war that saw networks and sponsors producing outrageous programs and stunts to grab the audience. Released later that year, Honda's King Kong vs. Godzilla is pop art imitating life, with two gargantuan wrestlers of Japanese and American pedigree tussling on live TV, raising ratings while razing cities. It's monster-movie-as-satire, a biting critique of the banal programming that dominated television, prompting widespread debate over the ascendant medium's effect on Japanese culture. The social critic Soichi Oya warned that TV was creating "a nation of 100 million idiots."
"People were making a big deal out of ratings," said Honda. "But my own view of TV shows was that they did not take the viewer seriously, that they took the audience for granted...so I decided to show that through my movie."
King Kong vs. Godzilla was one of five banner releases for 1962 to commemorate Toho's thirtieth anniversary, along with [Akira] Kurosawa's Sanjuro (Tsubaki Sanjuro), Hiroshi Inagaki's 47 Samurai (Chu-shingura), Mikio Naruse's Lonely Lane (Hourou-ki), and Yasuki Chiba's Born in Sin (Kawa no hotori de). By far Honda's most commercially successful film, King Kong vs. Godzilla was a runaway hit and the bedrock of the long-running Godzilla franchise that followed. Though Godzilla was a household word, this was the monster's first appearance in seven years. Only after Godzilla battled "the eighth wonder of the world" - Kong, the more popular monster, received top billing - did Toho truly begin producing its long and legendary series of monster-versus-monster sequels.
This is also perhaps Honda's most infamous effort, thanks to a poor imitation of the great King Kong and an inept, reworked American version that, as with Godzilla [1954], was distributed to many more territories than Honda's cut. Most troubling for Honda, though, was how Godzilla, in only its third film - and the first in color and scope - transformed from nuclear protest monster into outsized Rikidozan, engaging in comic wrestling antics. "[The studio] thought it would be interesting to make these two monsters fight," Honda later reflected. "That was all there was to it. Still, when you are the director, it is your film, so you still have to do your best. So I sucked it up and worked as hard as possible."
The project originated in Hollywood several years earlier, when stop-motion animator Willis O'Brien developed a proposed project titled King Kong vs. Frankenstein (later King Kong vs. Prometheus). O'Brien envisioned a battle in the streets of San Francisco between Kong and a monster created by Victor Frankenstein's grandson; the creatures would be animated via O'Brien's signature effects work. O'Brien partnered with independent producer John Beck, who failed to attract a Hollywood studio but eventually hit paydirt in Japan. Beck brokered a deal wherein Toho purchased the right to use King Kong in a film; however, O'Brien's ideas were jettisoned and he would have no involvement in the production. Toho made King Kong vs. Godzilla instead, with Beck retaining the lucrative overseas distribution rights.
RKO's fee for King Kong was reportedly 80 million Yen (about $220,000), inflating the budget and forcing Honda to cut costs. At the last minute, he canceled plans to film scenes set on Faro Island, Kong's home, on location in Sri Lanka. Instead, the crew shot at Oshima Island near Tokyo and on studio sets. "King Kong took all the money!" said actor Yu Fujiki.
Shinichi Sekizawa's script is light and quickly paced. Tako (Ichiro Arishima), the excitable advertising chief for Pacific Pharmaceutical Co., is desperate to shake up the low-rated TV science program that his company sponsors. He sends a cameraman, Sakurai (Tadao Takashima), and a sound man, Furue (Fujiki), to the Solomon Islands archipelago to investigate reports of a majin (demon god) worshipped by natives of tiny Faro Island. They return with King Kong literally in tow, but Kong breaks free in route and runs wild in Japan. Meanwhile, Godzilla bursts out of an iceberg in the Arctic and instinctively heads south toward its Tokyo stomping grounds. The Japanese military can't stop either creature, so a plan is hatched to pit them against one another, a monster matchup tailormade for the TV cameras.
King Kong vs. Godzilla takes a page from the keizai shosetsu (business novels) and films of the late 1950s and early 1960s that spoofed ruthless Japanese business practices. There are also similarities to Yasuzo Masumura's excellent Giants and Toys (Kedamono no yado, 1958), a satire about two candy companies engaged in an over-the-top media war, though where Masumura is cynical and heavy-handed, Honda is lighthearted. "The reason I showed the monster battle through the prism of a ratings war was to depict the reality of the times," said Honda. "When you think of King Kong just plain fighting Godzilla, it is stupid. But how you stage it, the times in which it takes place, that's the thought process of the filmmaker. Back then, Sekizawa was working on pop song lyrics and TV series, so he had a clear insight into television."
[Section omitted]
"This is neither the Kong of 1933 nor the Godzilla of 1954, and the monsters inspire little of their original pathos. Instead of moody monochrome, they are photographed in bright, revealing Eastmancolor and often framed at waist level, betraying any illusion of size. Godzilla has an improved design and blue-hot radiation breath; but Kong, played by stuntman Shoichi Hirose, is too obviously a man in a furry costume with lumpy facial features. Curiously, RKO reportedly required Toho not only to distinguish its Kong with a different face, but also to depict the ape snatching a female and scaling a building, recalling the original. Mie Hama does an excellent job shrieking in Kong's clutches, though one wishes Honda had borrowed even just a bit of the tragic romance of Merian C. Cooper's film. Godzilla mocks its opponent, Kong beats his chest and scratches his noggin, and both monsters employ slapstick fighting moves - Godzilla kicking boulders, Kong swinging its foe by the tail, and so on. Kong appears outmatched, but the odds are evened in the final battle via a deus ex machina, a thunderstorm that gives Kong a jolt of strength-inducing electricity."
[Section omitted]
"Because it was made not long after the AMPO protests, King Kong vs. Godzilla is sometimes interpreted as a critique of the Japan-US alliance, the monsters representing their respective countries. Studies such as Cynthia Erb's excellent Tracking King Kong make this analogy, but Honda had no such intent and, in fact, he portrays Kong as something of a proxy Japanese monster, with no apparent American origins. Unlike The Mysterians, Battle in Outer Space, Mothra, or Gorath, there is no involvement by the West in averting the crisis, and unlike Honda's 1950s dramas, the trappings of imported American culture (steaks and fries eaten with a fork and knife, jazz albums decorating Fumiko's apartment) are benign. Kong unintentionally helps expel Godzilla from Japan, playing the hero-by-default role that Godzilla would adopt a few years later. The fight ends in an apparent draw, then the monsters swim away - an ending to be repeated often, with variation."
- Ishiro Honda: A Life in Film, From Godzilla to Kurosawa, by Steve Ryfle and Ed Godziszewski

What’s around Riho career in AEW?
Tumblr media
The Entertainment purposes only.
1. Riho position in AEW currently?
The Hangman means that Riho is stuck on her position as AEW women champions. However, She is trying to figure out what to do with her position as AEW women champions. Riho want to show Americans what Joshi wrestling is. Since becoming first AEW women champions. Riho want to change women wrestling in America but there is some backstage politics on American wrestling Circuit. She see that America wrestling is a pretty different from Japanese women wrestling.
2. Riho situation with AEW currently?
The 4 of Wand means that Riho is trying to help other women wrestlers training in the rings with her. She want to improve with their in-ring abilities.
I see Riho is working with Bae Priestley in a storyline angle but there is schedule problems between them. However, She is trying her best to help other women wrestlers in AEW with their matches.
3. What Riho feel as the AEW women champions?
The King of Wand means that Riho feelings as AEW women champions are powerful and grateful in a wonderful mix. She is very passionate about women wrestling and her goal as champions. Riho want to be the best woman wrestler in history.
4. What Riho must do to make AEW women division interesting?
The Knight of Cup means that Riho will have to do a love/romance storyline with Kenny Omega. I know it sound cliché but fans want her to be in a romantic storyline with Kenny Omega.
Female wrestling fans and gay men wrestling fans love a good romantic storyline involves women wrestlers.
It’s like WWE trying to make Becky Lynch and Seth Rollin as a romantic storyline but it failed because of their real romantic relationships. WWE is forcing them as this power couple relationships.
5. What Riho problem with AEW women division?
The Ace of Pentacle means Riho is dealing with lack of direction in the women division. She see that Kenny Omega is trying to help out with the women division in AEW. There is so much confusion about the women division in AEW. Riho is trying to help Kenny Omega best way she can but backstage politics is causing so much drama. So, She stay away from the drama. Riho get along with people backstage but there is so much confusing within the women division.
6. What Riho solutions with AEW women division?
The 3 of Wand means that Riho going to do a lot of traveling with her AEW women title and prove she is the best woman wrestler in the world. However, I see her in Stardom trying to make a name for herself there. So, AEW name should be heard there. But I can see her wrestling in AAA Lucha Libre. She’ll probably be a star there. Nevertheless, Kenny Omega is extremely overprotective of Riho.
7. How Riho gonna do to make AEW women division interesting?
The 7 of Wand means that Riho gonna fight to make AEW women division better than any other pro wrestling business out there. However, She has to stand up against AEW officials for better women division in AEW. Riho need to let the people know that she is a woman wrestler demanding respect as women champions and equal talents with the men backstage.
8. What Riho planned for AEW women division in the year of 2020?
The 6 of Pentacle means that Riho gonna making money moves next year.
I see Riho main event in a first ever something gimmick match that will history in stardom or AEW.
