Warrior Cats Human AU

I am aware that some of these images are racially incorrect for genetics - for example, I pictured Crowfeather and Leafpool as caucasian, but they have Hollyleaf, who is African American and Jayfeather is tan, and Lionblaze has golden hair and eyes. Just for safety, I mean no offense, this was just how I pictured the characters.

Warrior Cats Human Headcannons - Through The Generations

- Bluestar thinks of Fireheart as the son she never got to raise - she would constantly give him advice on warrior and personal life

- When she found out Oakheart died, she locked herself in her room for days and cried. The entire clan was worried and thought she was grieving over Redtail - which she was. It broke her heart when she found out how 2 people she loved died in the same day

- Whenever she would meet with Crookedstar during a Gathring he would quietly whisper how her children were doing. Bluestar could never convey how grateful she was for that.

- She and Yellowfang would often hang out together - first out of courtesy, then as genuine friends. Bluestar appreciated her scathing honesty

- She and Whitestorm use to pass time by looking over the clan and telling each other who would end up with who. Bluestar could already tell when Graystripe was meeting up with Silverstream - after all, she fell in love with a Riverclan person as well. Whitestorm and her automatically agreed that Sandstorm would fall for Fireheart first, and facepalmed at how oblivious he was.

- Firestar sometimes has PTSD nightmares about Tigerstar and the only thing that can calm him down is Graystripe

- Fireheart and Graystripe patiently listened to Ravenpaw as he would ramble on and on about Barley when they visited him. They were the ones to help him come out and encouraged him to confess

- Him and Sandstorm have the Hiccstrid vibe. She is the only one who has the brain cell between him and Graystripe

- When Firestar and Sandstorm got together, Graystripe pulled her aside and tried to give her the “you break his heart and I’ll break your neck” speech. She couldn't hold in her laugh and he was humiliated. Still, she promised to take care of him

- Firestar cried when Cloudtail and Brightheart got married - so did Couldtail as his future wife walked down the aisle like a beautiful warrior princess. He couldn’t stop himself from telling her how beautiful she was over and over again. When they were pronounced husband and wife the whole Thunderclan was crying.

- Leafpool and Squirrelflight are twins. Squirrelflight is a daddy’s girl and Leafpool is a mommy’s girl. Sandstorm and Firestar were so proud when Leafpool said she wanted to be a medicine person. Squirrelflight had rolled her eyes while having a gazillion twigs and leaves in her hair

- Squirrelflight was that hyperactive little kid you could never take your eyes off of or else she'd kill herself. Loved giving Firestar heart attacks and gave Sandstorm her first grey hairs. Leafpool was an angel sent from Starclan

- Squirrelflight was 17 when she ran away to go on the journey. Brambleclaw had just become 19, Tawneypelt was 19, Crowfeather was 17, and Feathertail and Stormfur were 18.

- All of them have the friendship of the Breakfast Club - you wouldn’t expect it, but they have that bond for life.

- Brambleclaw was Squirrelflight’s first kiss. It was in the heat of the moment where Brambleclaw had nearly died, and it was like fireworks had gone off

- Everyone was heartbroken when Feathertail was killed. Stormfur lost his sister. Crowfeather lost his first love. Tawneypelt, Brambleclaw, and Squirrelflight lost a friend

- Leafpool and Crowfeather began growing close on the journey to the lake. She wanted to get closer to him out of sympathy, he resisted (naturally), but soon he was opening up to her. He would tell her his deepest feelings and she would confess things she hadn't even told her own sister. By the time they reached the lake, Leafpool realized she had feelings for him and Crowfeather was already in denial.

- Squirrelflight had no idea what Leafpool saw in Crowfeather, but they brought out something beautiful in each of them. Feathertail had softened Crowfeather’s heart, but Leafpool opened it. And Leafpool … Squirrelflight didn’t know what Crowfeather did, but she saw something new in her sister that made her heart swell and ache.

- Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw decided they didn’t want to get married. Leafpool had just rejoined the clan after running away, and was considered a disgrace to the clan. Having her sister get married right after was … Squirrelflight didn’t want to go there. Instead, she and Brambleclaw got matching tattoos.

- When Leafpool found out she was pregnant, her whole world came crashing down. The clan was finally starting to trust her again, Firestar and Sandstorm had stopped looking at her with pitying looks, and the clan had stopped looking suspicious when she said she was going to collect herbs.

- Squirrelflight immediately sensed something wrong and got the truth out of Leafpool. She offered to help and told Firestar that they would be gone on a journey because Leafpool had a vision. They both hesitated at the idea of telling Crowfeather, but ultimately went to the Windclan border to see him. Leafpool was heartbroken and Squirrelflight was outraged when they found out that he was with Nightcloud.

- "HOW IN THE NAME OF STARCLAN DID CROWFEATHER GET 3 GIRLS?!" – Squirrelflight

- Jayfeather, Lionblaze, and Hollyleaf are triplets and grow up under the assumption of Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw as their parents.

- (You know how the rest goes)

- For a long time Jayfeather refused to have a cane to help him walk because he thought it would make others think he is weak because he is blind. It was only when he found “The Stick!” when he decided that that would be his cane. No exceptions.

- When Jayfeather officially became a medicine person his grandpa Firestar constantly came by to ask him if there were any herbs to cure his wrinkles. He even got Graystripe and the elders in on it to ask him if there are any herbs to cure their oldness. Jayfeather hates them a little more each time.

- Jayfeather learned to swear from Squirrelflight. She would curse, he would repeat it, and Brambleclaw would just be like, “Why?” Jayfeather gets immense joy whenever he makes Hollyleaf swear, she thinks she’s so much better than that.

- When Jayfeather was an apprentice he would be sent to the elder’s den to “think about what he’s done.” Jayfeather would seethe, but he eventually he actually liked being with the elders. He would sit and complain, and the elders would back him up 110%. Firestar regrets everything.

- Before, Jayfeather hated how he was defined by his blindness. Growing up, it made him bitter and desperate to prove himself. Now, he just wants the clan to remember he’s blind. He’s contantly asked if he can check something out, if he can read this writing, ect. The whole clan forgot he’s blind and he’s irritated at their stupidity.

- After Jayfeather got his full name Hollyleaf took the opportunity to gift him the feathers of a blue jay and spent time braiding them into his hair. Hollyleaf also has a holly tied into her ponytail. Lionblaze was feeling left out so they made him a bracelet.

- Lionblaze and Hollyleaf fought like cats and dogs when they were apprentices, and made it the whole clan’s problem. Sandstorm had to break up the fights because she was the only one they listened too.

- As much as they hate to admit it, the three of them feel a connection to Windclan. It happens with all half-clan, where they feel the longing towards one Clan while the other is drawn into the one they’re born in. Hollyleaf always felt this need to run, as fast and hard as she can. Jayfeather likes the open space, the vastness of the land and moor. Lionblaze likes the feeling of wind, how it can be gentle or harsh against his skin.

- Dovewing and Ivypool are twins and the younger cousins of Lionblaze, Hollyleaf, and Jayfeather (idk, maybe 2nd cousins or something). Lionblaze and Dovewing are best friends, Ivypool is Hollyleaf’s favorite cousin, and Jayfeather, well … it’s been 0 days since they last sassed Jayfeather

- They are heartbroken when they find out Hollyleaf is “dead” because they were just about to become apprentices and Hollyleaf promised to be there.

- Dovewing has always had enhanced hearing, so she always assumed that everyone can hear what she did but never talked about it. When she was younger, she would talk about faraway things she’d heard but everyone thought she was just imagining.

- Dovewing doesn’t get overwhelmed by the noises she can hear because she’s had her powers since she was born. She’s learned how to tune it out/in. However, she hates loud noises. They take her by surprise and makes her feel like her eardrums split open.

- When that happens she sometimes goes to Jayfeather to help her out. He has a calming presence and the quiet and gentle brushes of herbs soothe her. He doesn’t say anything and neither does she. There’s no need.

- Part of the reason that Ivypool became so jealous of Dovewing was that all of the sudden her cousins would have secret discussions with Dovewing and exclude her. Hollyleaf would never have done that if she was still alive.

- Ivypool used to have hair past her shoulders, but had it cut in a pixie style after a Dark Forest warrior pulled on it to expose her throat. After the Clans defeated the Dark Forest, she grew it out to her chin as a sign of healing and moving on.

- After they became warriors, Dovewing, Ivypool, Briarlight, and Blossomfall became roommates. After Briarlight’s accident she moved in with Jayfeather, but sometimes she comes in to have a girls night.

- Briarlight and Jayfeather are opposites but compliment each other in the best way. She is bright and happy and he’s calm and collected. Jayfeather is a pessimist and she’s an optimist.

- All of the medicine people from the Clans always ask about Briarlight, she has them wrapped around her finger. They always sneak extra sweets for her whenever they visit Jayfeather

- Briarlight considered it a personal win when she finally got Jayfeather admit that they were friends. Jayfeather was overwhelmed by the swell of happiness that radiated from her the rest of the day.

- They have a saying that they use when no one is around. Whenever one of them is having a bad day, they go and cheer each other up by saying, “I’ll be your legs.” “And I’ll be your eyes.” They help each other and its beautiful.

- Briarlight used to love singing and dancing when she had her legs, so when she lost them she was depressed. After Jayfeather helped her out of it, she began humming and singing again

- The first time Jayfeather heard her sing his head whipped around because it was the most beautiful sound he’s ever heard. And for the first time in forever, Briarlight was happy as she restocked herbs while singing.

- Jayfeather grumbles about the noise but still encourages her to sing because it’ll help clear her lungs. Secretly, he likes hearing her voice. Briarlight knows he likes it.

- Jayfeather has too much pride to actually confess his feelings and Briarlight is afraid to ruin their relationship. Both are so awkward with their feeling but they don’t even realize they act like a couple until Lionblaze or Dovewing points it out. Sometimes when Leafpool watches them she’s reminded of her and Crowfeather

I'm assuming you meant hypokits and not an addition to my rewrite... While my hypokit requests aren't open at the moment, I'll make an exception here because my announcement of that got buried under my other recent posts so you might not have seen it. I have since made that announcement my new pinned post to hopefully prevent any accidents in the future. I'll do the other one in my inbox as well soon after this one and then stop because it's not fair to only make an exception for one person imo.

Warrior Ships Hypokits: JayBriar Edition

In this AU, Medicine Cats are allowed to have a mate and kits, just as long as they have a mentor or fully-trained apprentice able to take on their workload while they raise their kits. Leafpool still gives her kits to Squirrelflight because of Cinderpelt's death meaning she no longer has a cat to help her pick up the slack. The ruse is discovered pretty quickly here, however, both because Jaykit and Hollykit have distinctly WindClan builds and because let's be honest, none of them look like either Squirrelflight or Brambleclaw (even in canon) either. She and Crowfeather still get in a lot of trouble for this, but Crowfeather joins ThunderClan to help care for his kits and stay with Leafpool and the other MedCats chip in to help her out. Everything else proceeds pretty much the same and when Briarlight gets paralyzed and confined to the Medicine Den, she and Jayfeather both bond over not really wanting to be there. They eventually fall in love despite their very different personalities and Briarlight has his kits while happy grandma Leafpool runs the Medicine Den by herself temporarily.

They have two kits together:

Batears- tiny black tom with large ears and blind amber eyes. Trans tom, aromantic demi-bisexual. Batears inherited his father's vision issues, but has few major problems getting around despite that. His hearing is incredibly good and he has an excellent memory, so he makes a wonderful camp guard despite his small stature. Batears takes after his mother Briarlight in terms of personality and always tries to stay optimistic. He enjoys helping others whenever he can, and tries to see the best in everyone he meets. While this and his sunny personality makes Batears easy to get along with, he can be annoying at times as well. He is a Warden.

Buzzardswoop- large smoky gray and black tolly with amber eyes. AMAB agender, asexual toric (nblm). It uses it/its pronouns. Buzzardswoop is the polar opposite to its brother personality-wise, taking after its father's pessimism and sarcastic nature. It has few friends because of this and many cats (even some in ThunderClan) fear it for its frightening appearance and cold personality. While its size and threatening demeanor might seem like it would be a fighter and would enjoy battles, Buzzardswoop is actually very soft deep, deep, deep down and prefers to stay close to camp and help gather herbs and other peaceful tasks. It curates an herb garden of its own design for ThunderClan to use but secretly shares the herbs with other Clans if asked. It is a Hunter officially, but has taken the unofficial role of Gardener

Jayfeather couldn’t be angry at his mother and aunt.

He knew what falling in love felt like.

Twice over he’d fallen, once for the kind tortoiseshell molly whose mate loved her sister, and again for the molly in the past, forever intwined with his former life, but never this one.

But to have kits, as a healer, with a tom from another clan? Jayfeather didn’t know how to feel. He was only really angry he was related to Breezestrike, that bastard of a cat.

“Jayfeather?”

The tom lifted his head from his herbs, his ears twitching. He almost jumped at his friends voice, flicking his tail in annoyance.

“Yes, Poppyfrost?” He muttered. She was one of few he enjoyed the presence of.

“I was just wondering if you’re alright.” She mewed. “After, y’know…”

“I’m fine, Poppy.” He muttered. “Just…I’m not angry, if that’s what you meant. Or depressed.”

“I didn’t say you were.” She said softly.

“I know. But that’s usually what everyone thinks.”

“Well, I know you can care for yourself. Just don’t get too caught up in your work, ok? Besides, I’m your friend for a reason. You can talk to me.”

Jayfeather felt his pelt burn. He’d gotten over this. She had a family. He was a healer.

“..yeah. I know.”

With that, she slipped out of the healers den.

“Personally, I think healers not being allowed mates because one cat couldn’t handle it hundreds of years ago is silly.” Briarlight commented. He’d almost forgotten she was there. “Why do we have to listen to rules that are old?”

“It’s the way things have always been.” Jayfeather muttered. He didn’t want to have this conversation, but it was better than everyone treating he and his brother like glass.

“Well, maybe things should change. I don’t mean just because of your mother. In general.”

Jayfeather didn’t respond. He didn’t want to. He knew what she was referring to, unfortunately.

I think all of these are not canon but honestly in Warriors the best ships are the ones that aren’t real. (Also side note, I have multiple ships with a same character, that’s because I don’t ever really have a ‘favorite’ ship and I often like multiple ships)

My Top 10 Favorite Warrior Cats.

Cinderpelt was the main source of entertainment and enthusiasm in book 2, and 3 and I love that! She would have made it higher is the authors (don't remember the name, and too lazy to look it up) didn't kill her off so soon. Twilight was so annoying, the entire book was terrible, and I was so sad when she died. And her disability was very terribly written. She broke her leg by a car, and she can't be a warrior anymore. I would discuss about it all day long, but I need to move on to #9.

I love our little fruit loop! I mainly love Tallstar's character because of his Super Edition. Tallstar's Revenge is my favorite Euper Edition of all of warrior cats. The characters in the book got stuff done for once. (I don't remember all of the super editions, it has been a long time since I read them). And his little relationship with Jake is super cute! I met someone at a library and she doesn't like Tallstar x Jake. She was a homophobic, and I hate homophobes. She just make me angry, so I never talked to her again. Anyway, I just thought the bowtie idea was cute, and I decided to put that in.

I really love frostpaw because I can relate to her issues, but I think she was like a reboot of Shadowsight. Which Shadowsight was fine, no problem with him. I think frostpaw is just a cute name in general. I have never drawn her before, so i had to some up with grays on the spot. Anyway the next one!

Now we got some of the best kitties in my eyes! Ravenpaw was my favorite characters in the books before someone else came along that will be in #1. But he was basically the start of the series besides Firestar. Think about it, he tells him what happened with the Tigerstar situation. Firestar would have never known if Ravenpaw didn't spill the truth. And I think him moving to the farm was probably the best thing that has happened to him. Barley is not my favorite, it is just that I wanted to draw them. Next one!

Honestly Lightleap is probably the best character in arc 8 because she is so entertaining and snarky. The best type of character. And she caused a lot of drama which I love. It sucks that she has not been there much in book 3 and 4 of A Starless Clan.

She was supposed to be #4, but I forgot I didn't do 5, so instead of thinking more, I just put her there. Briarlight is the only good cat in her family. Mille is very mental, Blossomfall is very bad, and is very.... dramatic? I don't know how to describe it. Graystripe who i don't know what is going on in his head, and Bumblestripe who obsessed with a girl who doesn't want him. Briarlight is the sweetest cat and her death in the fourth or fifth book in AVOS was very sad. I love her friendship with her best friend, Jayfeather. (Yes, best friend! Jayfeather is gay in my head! I don't care if he loved Half Moon). Briarlight is just great! Love her!

Don't really have a reason to put her up here. Maybe I am just obsessed with the name i gave her. I was gonna switch her and Briarlight out, but oh well. I mainly like first arc Bluestar not her super edition (I mean, who does like her super edition)? I just like calling her Queen of the double wide.

Here's Dovewing! My baby! I am happy to put her here on this list! I really don't understand why some people hate Dovewing. She is a great protagonist, and a good mom as well. And also I feel bad for her because she was forced to be with him (Bumblestripe) for a while because of peer pressure. But I am glad she made to choice to get out of the pain.

AAAHHH! SQUIRRELSTAR!!! SHE'S HERE! I have been waiting for 4 years for this. She is basically just like me. (Except the shortness! I am not short). I do what is right, but I don't need approval from anyone. Honestly her husband is a dickhead, so I am glad he stepped down. I wished he would have died though.

JAYFEATHER! HE IS MY FAVORITE KITTY EVER! Does anyone need to explain why he is some people's favorite? Well I do. I can relate to him because everyone is an idiot! The books make them really dumb sometimes, and points out Jay's blindness. And guess who points this out? Jayfeather! He is my favorite for that reason. He is grumpy, but has a valid reason for it. And I can't get myself started on his boyfriend. He is not that interesting, but seeing fanart of Jayfeather and Kestrelflight just makes a smile on my face. (Dusklight for example, go follow them! One of the remaining kestreljay fans, and their work is flawless)! Honestly the sunglasses idea was random. Intro Post!!

Hello!! I am Type1DragonWolf, and welcome to my page!! I am a Wings of Fire, Warrior cats, Mystreet, Sun and Moon Show/Lunar and Earth Show fan, but I will mostly focus on SaMS/LaES!! Questions you might have:

This is my main oc Emiko Schwartz. (Her eyes are brown in case you’re wondering) She is a Wolf/Human hybrid. (Or a furry, I guess) Her power is that her ears and tail change color to reflect her emotions, and this is her default colors. She used to be orange and yellow, which mean happiness and contentment, however, over the years they have changed to Magenta(Hurt/Anger) and Mint(Envy). Also, beware of when her eyes turn magenta. That means she will turn into a wolf and probably attack!

working on my briarlight design and figuring out how to pose her. i think she might be one of my favs at this point she is SO COOL.

i wish her role in the clan could be explored more. she has a role in the medicine den, and she seems to really enjoy it, but i think there could be so much more done with her doing things around camp. she isn't a full medicine cat and she doesn't want to be. she's such a caring, loving cat and i would have loved to see more of her as sort of a camp-keeper? checking in on everyone, helping dustpelt and thornclaw build dens (she's ripped), playing with kits and apprentices, distributing fresh-kill, decorating camp, etc. it'd be interesting to see her coaching apprentices about the ways they can help their clan that aren't hunting and fighting. if briarlight demonstrated her importance, apprentices would have more appreciation for the work that they don't like to do (elders and ticks, moss gathering, etc). all of that work is seen as basically scut work, but briarlight showing how these things are integral to how a clan runs would be fantastic. maybe there would be more warriors who wanted to work on camp and clan upkeep with her coaching. i feel like there isn't much thought put into how camp is kept in warriors besides the occasional den building and moss gathering. there is so much more to being a warrior than patrolling and fighting.

i also love her relationship with jayfeather. i have never been much of a "shipper" but tbh i think jay x briar is adorable.

our aim was to get 132 characters narrowed down to 64, we narrowed them down to 67, because of an amazing three polls where the difference was made by literally a single vote, and i think as far as preliminaries go, that's not preference that's chance (one vote may make the difference when it comes to the final rounds, bc then it's exciting, but here that's a tie)

Sure, lemmie blitz through everything off the top of my head--

(I might miss something because my actual computer is broken, I don't have my whole blog loaded up in another tab like I usually do)

Pre-TPB stuff:

AdderSwift and FuzzyRobin NERF. Most of their children are split up to other cats.

AdderSwift's only kids are Leopardfoot and Patchpelt

FuzzyRobin's only (surviving) kids are Dustpelt and Ravenpaw

One-eye is a lot older and has Halftail in the oldest litter and Brindleface in a younger; Mousefur and Runningwind are her grandchildren. She is very old.

Dappletail and Thrushpelt are the children of Rainfur and Tawnyspots

Frostfur was raised by gay grandpaws, Weedwhisker and Stonepelt. She is the secret child of Featherwhisker.

Rosetail is the mother of Spottedleaf and Redtail

THERE WAS A BIG PLAGUE SIX MONTHS BEFORE TPB. A LOT OF CATS DIED.

TPB Shuffles:

Redtail and Runningwind are the parents of Sandstorm and Longtail

Willowpelt is the daughter of Patchpelt, she only has one litter and it's with Whitestorm; Sorreltail, Sootfur, Rainwhisker.

Brindleface has Ferncloud and Elderberry in the oldest litter; Ashfur in a second just before she is murdered. Fern, Elder, and One-eye raise him.

Cloudtail is considered Firestar's son by Clan society. Cloudtail sees him more like an uncle/mentor.

Cinderpelt and Brackenfur are older than their siblings, Thornclaw and Brightheart.

Dappletail is the mother of Darkstripe and Cricketclaw in the first litter, Graystripe and Featherkit in the second.

Swiftpaw was the oldest son of Tigerclaw and Goldenflower, and first cousins with the Frostfour

Firestar and Sandstorm are queerplatonic, the twins are an honor-siring with coparenting. Firestar is aromantic.

Post-TPB:

THE FOLLOWING CATS ARE AXXED: Snowbush, Ambermoon, Leafshade, Honeyfur, Eaglewing. If these cats appear in the Bonefall Rewrite they will be shuffled elsewhere.

Firestar's lineage is tracked through The Three; Fully Clanborn Firekin.

Dovewing and Ivypool were born of Jayfeather and Poppyfrost, adopted by Cinderheart and Lionblaze

Spotfur and Duststripe (Prev. Sorrelstripe) are Birchfall x Whitewing kits as a trade.

Duststripe is not mates with Dewnose; Bayshine and Myrtlebloom are honor sired.

Cinderheart later becomes mates with Hollyleaf, now called Fallenleaf after Time Travel Shennanigans, and has a litter of Hollylark, Snaptooth, and Flywhisker.

They go wandering together after their kits are grown just before TBC

Fernsong is not Firekin, he is a kittypet who joins with Jessy and Stormcloud. His name was Fiddles, which he insisted was a type of fern.

Ferncloud, who did not die, thinks this is cute. Dustpelt died. Sorreltail is also here.

Jessy is the mother of Alderheart and Sparkpelt; Squirrelflight does not get back with Bramblestar after his behavior in OotS. He disowned the Three and they have never forgiven him for it.

Jessy leaves just before AVoS after improving Briarlight's mobility device to the point of independence.

Thornclaw has no children and he also dies in the Great Battle; Blossomfall's kittens were honor-sired.

Seedpaw and Lilyheart were FerncloudxDustpelt children; Brackenfur dies in Po3.

Toadstep died in the Great Battle; Spiderleg does not die of Offscreen Greencough.

Hazeltail does not die of Offscreen Greencough. She is both alive and transgender.

Rosepetal does not die in TBC. Cherryfall does instead.

Nightheart is the child of Hollylark and Sparkpelt. He is Firekin through his dead parent.

Do you have any LGBTQ+ headcanons for pride month? :)

I do, so many! Let's see how many I can list! As we all know, gender and sexuality is a spectrum, and there's no one way to classify just everyone into little bubbles. That's what makes us as humans so amazing. I made "groups" below for those interested in certain "categories", but if anyone has particular asks, I can try and assist.

I mostly stuck to notable cats people would recognize rather than getting a bit more obscure, so do ask if you want specifics. If I have mistakenly used wrong pronouns in the past for certain characters, I apologize as it may either be old, or I sometimes slip because no nonbinary cats are really in the books using said pronouns, but I get used to them nonetheless.
