i get the whole ignoring tkkrs to be at peace but i hope ppl won't stop calling them out for their mistranslations, misinformation, misleading things cause it's been yrs and there are still so many lies and theories that are harmful has came from them and yet the whole fandom uses it without asking for the credibility of it.

The whole "jk hates jm" has came from tkkrs only and now is widely spread in the whole fandom, the "jm sleeps with bangppd and bangppd wants to push jkk to hide tkk" narrative is their #1 theory that they still use and the whole kpop uses that bangpd and jm shit to drags jm. The jikook does fanservice narrative has came from them which everyone easily associates with jkk cause that's what they have been told by the majority of the fandom which is tkkrs.

It's been two yrs and they still say the atomix ot7 dinner was tk date when there's proof of ppl who work at atomix saying it was ot7 dinner after their white house speech. Yep, I’m going there. Because while I haven’t gotten an ask of this type (hopefully never) I’ve been on Tumblr and Twitter spaces in the Jikook community enough to see this recycled phrasing enough to address it.

You’ll never see me perpetuate stereotypes like:

“You must never get laid if you can’t see the intimacy of Jikook. They definitely fuck so you are either young or a virgin” or “you’ve never been in a serious relationship to not see their bond as one that is romantic”

I’ve seen this type of commentary from both anons and bloggers as some kind of “gotcha” moment.

If you have stopped by my blog before and read my pinned about me section, you’ll see that I stated that I’m asexual.

These rhetorics are not only insulting to someone who is ace like me but also bogus. I haven’t been in an intimate relationship in ten years (shock and awe because that’s by choice) but I’m still a jikooker. I can read body language cues and notice patterns in behavior that suggest intimacy even if that is something I don’t want for myself.

I think the rampant heteronormative society and engrained homophobia are much more to blame as the reason people deny the possibility of Jikook constantly.

I’d be remiss to admit that I still follow some of these bloggers that say this type of rhetoric or post asks that say things similar and don’t call them out. Not that any of those bloggers follow me back probably, but I’m putting it out there in case they see this post. Can we stop with this? It’s not even true and it’s demeaning. I’ve thought many times about commenting and saying my thoughts on it, but I’m generally a non confrontational person (mommy issues) so I just keep it moving.

No one literally thinks about asexuals existing. People forget that people exist who could care less about having sex, so they use it as some sort of insult which is gross. Let’s stop making these assumptions. My ability to perceive Jikook’s special bond as what I think is a very romantic and yes, sexual relationship has nothing to do with my own sexual experiences. That’s not a barrier for getting someone to notice their intimacy. Let’s stick to what we know are. Heteronormativity and Homophobia. All my fellow ace people, this is a safe space. Anyway, to succinctly answer your question: I have no idea.

I don't know if jikook are fucking, monogamously or otherwise, I don't know if they're in a situationship, etc, and I don't care to put any effort towards trying to find out. I'm very comfortable with not knowing what exactly they are and just taking their jikooking as a given.

It's sometimes fun to read the various theories people have about them, but my opinions are formed by watching them for years till now, loving their dynamic while I recognize many of my own queer expressions in their behaviour, and enjoying their relationship which only appears to deepen with time. I don't care who, when, or how they fuck, whether they're committed or not. The particulars of their relationship don't interest me in that way. I'm more curious about Jimin as a person, Jungkook as a person, on their own and also because it helps me further understand their relationship, and better appreciate it.

What makes you believe that Jikook aren’t just friend? Aside from the damn hickey. We know Jimin the most sensitive, feminine in the group. His love language, what he likes to receive is acts of service and words of admiration. It’s been said Hobi gives love and support to his members the way they prefer. So what makes it different if that’s how Jungkook treats Jimin? They do things with each other than y’all call romantic until they do it with another member. They’re just friends and none of you are willing to admit that because you have romanticized them being together for so long. Jimin is definitely bi and has softly came out without announcing it. Jungkook has given no reason for people to believe he’s gay or bi. Men in Korea are more touchy and loving to their male friends. Just because they’re idols doesn’t mean it’s romantic.

I have posts over probably most questions you could think to ask me as someone who thinks Jikook might be more than friends.

And you'll also notice that I state in so many of those posts that it's just my opinion, I might be wrong and being wrong wouldn't bother me nor affect my love for the two of them as individuals. Because their relationship, whatever it is, has no affect on me personally other than that I enjoy it immensely. And that wouldn't change even if it's all just them being best friends with questionable boundaries 😂
