Rushing to get the last 15 or so levels of my catalogue so I can send in my joy cons for repair

Nintendo has been fixing joycon drift for years but they don't advertise it so people still don't know.

Despite having a perfectly functional pro controller and like no multiplayer games I did just order that Tears of the Kingdom themed one because apparently I am very responsible when it comes to money and videogame related things. Also finally ordered the game itself :)

Finding my sister's 17 y/o DS Lite: finally some good fuckin food

#the past couple of months have been a SAGA #my ten+ y/o 3ds gave up the ghost #probably from the sheer amount of times its been thrown into pack backs because I used to bring it everywhere #my switch got console drift but because its a lite i can't get new joy cons #i might eventually get it repaired but honestly i don't like supporting Nintendo anymore #despite Nintendo being my childhood i now think they're low-key scummy #my partner's Xbox controller also gave up after 5+ years #he can play games with a mouse i cannot #so I just straight up haven't been able to play games since like January and its been saaaaad #i spent a good five hours just playing #style boutique #Nintendo #Nintendo DS

I know electronics don't last forever etc, but the controls on my two 3DSes from 2011 work perfectly, yet I am on my 3rd set of joy-cons on the Switch. Which I only play when a new mainline Pokemon game comes out.

I JUST FOUND OUT YOU CAN FIX THE SHOULDER BUTTONS OF A DSI BY BLOWING INTO THEM REALLY STRONGLY JUST LIKE WITH CARDRIDGES

ITS BEEN YEARS SINCE I‘VE LAST USED THEM AND NOW THEY WORK AGAIN

(It’s not a permanent solution but still. They work.)

Hey guys, do any of you know of any quality off brand joy cons?

Good enough to the point where they don't drift, unlike the normal ones from Nintendo because Nintendo apparently doesn't care if there own product is faulty.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

It finally happened.

I experienced the dreaded joycon drift, so my red joycon has been retired. Treated myself to a new pair - the pastel pink and yellow joycon set. My Switch gaming days shall live on! 🩷💛
