My Trolls 4 concept

I posted this somewhere as a comment or a reblog, but I think I still wanna put it out there anyway

I firmly believe that Trolls 4 should explore the relationships between Viva, Peppy, Poppy, and Branch in regards to Peppy’s sketchiness and who “deserves” to be on the throne.

The actual plot line might be similar in nature to that of Shrek the Third (Justin Timberlake as a candidate for king doesn’t help), but the general concept is something like Branch and Poppy are finally getting married but Branch doesn’t actually want to be king (let’s be real, he’s made strides, but that boy would be so uncomfortable as king), meanwhile Viva pipes up and is like “well…shouldn’t I actually be queen anyway?” and Poppy is like “ok but…I’ve actually already been sworn in?? So…” Then some other semi-catastrophic probably world-building event happens that sends them all on a tangentially related mission (could be anything, but I think it should be something that exists within the pre-established world, I’d love to see something go wrong with a troll tribe or like, a need to prevent a war or something) while they’re still in the midst of figuring out the whole royalty issue and the movie ends with a lesson along the lines of “the titles don’t matter, what really matters is how you treat your family and your community.” The movie ends with the wedding and Viva and Poppy becoming co-queens and Branch becoming either Poppy’s consort or like, the royal safety consultant or something. There’s a million different endings so long as they’re executed properly (dismantle the monarchy, Branch becomes king, Viva marries Clay, Peppy dies, I don’t know), but regardless the story is a character-building opportunity for our main bunch, it provides opportunities for Branch to have heart-to-hearts with his funk trolls buds and his bros, it allows a chance to bring all the leaders of the genres back, and it gives the focus back to Poppy and Peppy and lets them develop through some real and much-needed conversations with Viva. A secondary lesson about trust mayhaps? A reminder that every good relationship takes work, be it friends, significant others, or even familial ones?

Just miscellaneous thoughts of course, I just think there’s so much to be done within the already established world of Trolls and I really just want to see them explore it and develop their characters properly.

I love your trolls headcanons and lore! So interesting! Do you have any more headcanons about pop royalty? Any strict rules and traditions for royals? How it was for branch to be royal and king? Was poppy still superior when they married?

Pop Trolls don't really have strict rules at all. I don't think Pop Trolls do anything strictly.

Poppy was unofficially supposed to be the one to propose to Branch because she is the one who's royal. Poppy was like "Pffffttt, we'll get married when we're both ready." (They both end up proposing at the same time anyway.)

Branch was technically supposed to be titled 'Prince Consort' but Poppy was like "Oh no nonononono, with all the stuff Branch has done for this village? His title will be King!"

Branch has always been worried about one day marrying Poppy and becoming King.

So he does what he does best, overly-prepare.

He comes up with 100 'Kingy' scenarios. E.g. what to do if there's a drought, what to do if there is a disaster with one of the other tribes, what if Poppy invites too many Trolls to a party? And he plans and plans and plans! He decided that once he has finished all 100 he will feel more prepared, and he can propose to Poppy.

Picture like a giant bookcase built into the bunker with 100 scrapbooks. Some empty, some half filled, some stuffed full.

He finishes number 100... dusts off his hands... steps back to look at his work and just goes.... "Oh sugar..." 😳

Anyway, once he becomes King, Poppy still has the final say but she will give Branch the reins if she believes he has a better handle on it than she does.

Sometimes his duties are project-by-project. E.g. his plans to build a Pop Village Castle, establishing a mail system with the other tribes, hooking the village up with electricity. Other times it's something little like leading the morning song. 🎶

Poppy and Branch have a great understanding of what the other can handle and their strengths and weaknesses, so they're both never overwhelmed and they can help each other when they need it.

Which is what make them a great team. 💕

Hé sweat and release the flies,but they felt his nervousity and Hide.

Hé gulp and swam whit dolphin hoping they wont feel his nervousity.of corse bad luck strike him as he got caugh whit them swimming and jumping evrywere.

The couple saw him flew in the air and into the sand.they ran to him and check over if he was all right.

They realize and look at each other nervously.

Poppy and branch :i can explan

Trollex:ok im giving up,Poppy ,Branch asked me to help to propose to you since he was scared,Branch,Poppy told me to help her since she was stressed

Branch :so u were on both

Poppy:wait,u wanted to propose too

They both walked away leaving the beach.trollex watched them happy for his besties,that went he saw dash....

I was going to add more panels of a synchronized strangle attack by team broppy, but decided that enough was enough...

Anyhow here's how I think the battle at Mount Rageous should've gone, with the lovely happy trolls using the hair as weapons of destruction </3 I know that Branch is in his healing era but I still think he would've resorted to his more violent methods somehow (this time with Poppy's full support).

Also, the reason why Viva's still using the sticky hands is because of this one hc I saw that the Putt-Putt trolls lost the ability to stretch their hair due to malnutrition :D
