Spring season 2020

The new season has started and it seems to be a good one. I had way too many anime I wanted to watch and had to narrow it down quite a bit. So here’s what I’ll be watching this season.

Kitsutsuki Tantei-Dokoro: I’m really looking forward to this one and how it’ll be. The cover looks really nice and it seems like a artstyle I could enjoy. The first episode will air later this day so I’ll see how it is. The story sounds like it has potential but it could also be kinda confusing.

Fugou Keiji Balance:Unlimited: Man this one got some catchy music in it. I watched the first episode and thought ‘wow thats a friggin nice opening’ and then the ending came on and I was like ‘woa this is even better than the opening’. So yeah that’s a plus point, also it seems like it’ll be an entertaining story. Smells a bit of queerbaiting but that could just be my imagination.

Yesterday wo Utatte: I’m curious in which direction this will go. The first episode was good, it felt atmospheric and kinda relatable to me. I also love that this girl is just running around with a crow on her shoulder. Some good old slice of live is never a bad thing.

Zashiki Warashi no Tatami-chan: I was a bit disapointed that this one only has 4 minutes episodes. Also they didn’t do a very good job to use this short time. It would probably count as comedy but honestly to me it wasn’t very funny, also I would have expected better animation judging by the cover but well I’ll see how this continues.

Arte: Man I really, really like this. I mean it’s kinda unrealistic (what did I expect...?) but still I love it. Especially because of the whole ‘a girl get’s told she can’t do it but still she does it’ theme going on, that’s the stuff I crave. The main character is lovable and cute even though I would’ve wished for her to be a bit less ‘clueless’  but we’re only at episode two and there’s still room for character development. Anyway this is complaining on a high level, actually I love her already.

Kakushigoto: I only started watching this because I knew Kamiya is voicing the main character and I wasn’t disapointed. Lot’s of his beautiful voice and a very good anime. The characters are great and I love the animation an artstyle so much, also it’s hilarious and so heartwarming at the same time. The whole things vibe kinda reminds me of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, is it just me or does anyone else have that feeling?

Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru. Kan: Yas another season of Oregairu! I binge watched the first two seasons so I’m happy that there’s another one airing. I can’t even complain why I enjoy it so much, maybe because the main character is relatable in a painfully funny way.

Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen 2nd Season: Wow what a long ass title. I laughed so much already during the first episode and I’m so happy that this one got a second season. I hope these two dorks will finally get their shit together and confess but that probably won’t happen, which is also okay because it’s hilarious to see them be so oblivious.

Shokugeki no Souma: Go no Sara: It was clear when the last season ended that there would be another one, but still I hoped there wouldn’t come one. My prayers weren’t heard so here it is again, the food porn goes on. I feel like the story is getting more dumb with every season but let’s be honest I’ll still watch it. Also antagonist boi looks hot.
