Visual Description: Sally, center stage, performs at a microphone in the now desolate club. Kost, Ernst, and the (now converted) white ensemble members sit at tables, watching vaguely, but loudly talking amongst themselves. As Sally sings, her makeup and dress become increasingly disheveled, with her dress eventually falling to reveal her slip. Sally, upon noticing the lack of attention she receives (first verse end), storms around the stage and steals a drink from a nearby table, before finally calling off the band. She sits, performing the majority of the song in a drunken stupor on the stairs leading down toward the audience. In the end, she rises, having reached her mental break, and finishes at the microphone; blowing it out audibly and chucking it to the ground as she storms out of the club.

I am several months too late in posting this publically, but everyone please enjoy Miss Thing's absolutely unhinged performance of Cabaret. Forever thinking about her Sally choices. (If you want the full audio, just message me. I went,,,, too many times).
I think we are...we all are a bit like little ships lost at sea. We've all been through a lot.Left our families, been rejected on way or another.Bunch of queers and freaks and girls who haven't grown up yet.
Happy Anniversary to the Broadway opening of DWSA. This show truly changed my life. I love this beautiful version of Spring Awakening, this community, and this cast so much. 🤟🏻

(Pease disregard the small interruption at the end as we picked up a pair of glasses and gave to an usher)
Last Sunday, I saw the touring production of Into the Woods. Into the Woods is one of my favorite musicals so I was pretty excited to see this.
It was great! I highly enjoyed it! I can’t believe I was in the same room as Stephanie J Block, Krysta Rodriguez, and Gavin Creel. They were all so good. I love what Krysta did with Cinderella. She made her pretty tough.
Stephanie was really funny. There was the scene that Jack came in with the chicken from the beanstock and the egg popped out and broke in half. Stephanie improvised by going like, “I can’t believe you have a broken golden egg!”. The audience laughed like it was the funniest thing ever.
And Gavin was a really sassy Prince. I enjoyed it a lot.
I enjoyed the rest of the cast as well. This was the first thing I ever saw Sebastian (the guy playing the baker and Stephanie’s real life husband!) in. He was pretty good.
The guy who played the narrator/mysterious old man was pretty good but he definitely looked like he would die for real at certain moments. But he was pretty spry at the same time.
My only complaint was that nobody was wearing a different outfit in the second act? Doesn’t everyone get a slightly nicer outfit? Nobody was wearing a nicer outfit except for Little Red’s new cloak.
