Anthony Bourdain was born on June 25, 1956, in New York City.

Bourdain Day

The life, legacy, and birthday of world-traveling culinarian and storyteller Anthony Bourdain is celebrated today. Created by José Andrés and Eric Ripert, fellow chefs and friends of Bourdain, who announced it with a video, Bourdain Day is celebrated with the sharing of tributes and memories of Anthony Bourdain.

Bourdain achieved rockstar status—a rare feat for a cook—and his suicide in 2018 devastated his fans, who felt a strong connection to him. He traveled the world and ate food in just about any location possible. In the process, he demonstrated the power of a shared meal to bring people together, the diversity of cuisines and cultures, and also, in contrast, that no matter where people are from, they very much are alike. He was a storyteller and explorer of the human condition who used food as his landscape. His ethos, which drew so many to him, can be summed up with his own words: "If I'm an advocate for anything, it's to move. As far as you can, as much as you can. Across the ocean, or simply across the river. Walk in someone else's shoes or at least eat their food. It's a plus for everybody."

Anthony Bourdain grew up in Leonia, New Jersey, and began working in kitchens at the age of 13. He later said he learned the most important lessons of his life as a dishwasher. But addiction took hold of him when he was in his twenties, and he became hooked on heroin for a time. He went to Vassar College in New York State for two years before dropping out and enrolling in culinary school. He then worked as a line cook and sous chef at a number of restaurants in the Northeast, before becoming the executive chef at Brasserie Les Halles in Manhattan.

In 1999, after publishing two suspense novels, Bourdain's article "Don't Eat Before Reading This" appeared in The New Yorker, garnering him some attention. In it he captured kitchen life and the characters of the underbelly he came across while working there, saying, "In America, the professional kitchen is the last refuge of the misfit. It's a place for people with bad pasts to find a new family." The article set the groundwork for and led to the book Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly, released the following year, which was a best-seller and brought Bourdain widespread fame. Bourdain followed it up with A Cook's Tour: In Search of a Perfect Meal.

Then came television. Four shows over sixteen years brought viewers to the far corners of the world, where food and conversation underpinned an exploration of culture. Bourdain's first show, A Cook's Tour, was adapted from his book and aired on the Food Network in 2002 and 2003. Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations debuted on the Travel Channel in 2005. It received over a dozen Emmy Award nominations and had two wins over its nine seasons. The Layover, also on the Travel Channel, aired from 2011 to 2013.

In 2013, Bourdain moved to CNN with Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown. It won five Emmy Awards and a Peabody Award for "expanding our palates and horizons in equal measure." Tragically, Bourdain died of suicide on June 8, 2018, while in France working on an upcoming episode of Parts Unknown. He was 61. Although he is no longer with us, his life and legacy live on in his robust body of work and with Bourdain Day.

And of course, we have some mistakes in the links and in the cc content we are currently correcting ... What is a good Sims 3 World without a little headache ? :D And because we love difficulties, we are currently updating our own website ( which is a mess ) ... What else ? Nothing, everything is fine under the sun of this hot summer :D

The General Hospital is a Maxis one, but from Riverview. @nornities ( thanks A LOT for his/her patience to check Champignac ) pointed to us different things : missing mostly. so, somes of you may not see the Hospital ( Hopital des Bleuets ) in their game.

saga: SOUMISSION / DOMINATION 124

Nous sommes descendus à La Palmyre en moto. Trajet que nous commençons à bien connaître, surtout les aires de repos où l'on peut s'isoler pour que Marc m'encule discrètement. Bagages minimum, mais de toute façon nous passons le plus clair de notre temps à poil ou en maillot de bain. Cette année ayant fait les frais de maillots Aussiebum, nous n'auront que les serviettes à acquérir à la boutique de Jérôme.

Quand nous arrivons, nous tombons direct sur Manu et Théo les serveurs que nous connaissons bien ! Une bise vite fait et il assure passer nous voir dès ce soir à la fin de leur service. Miam, cela faisait longtemps que nous les avions vu.

Motos au parking vidéo-surveill��, bagages défaits, nous descendons direct à la piscine. Nous sommes déjà tout bronzés et ne nous attirons pas de regard de commisération (pov blanchets) mais nous en attirons quand même. J'avais insisté pour acheter les maillots wonderjock. Ça a l'effet escompté, bien que nous soyons déjà correctement équipés, nous paraissons avoir deux Kg de bite en plus !! Nous visons un espace libre et plongeons de concert. Longueur sous l'eau, nous remontons auprès d'un groupe de jambes légèrement velues. Trois ados châtain clair en train de causer sexe accoudés à la margelle. Notre arrivée doit les gêner car ils changent de sujet. ;Je les mates direct, ils s'en aperçoivent et deux d'entre eux rougissent. Je leur fais un grand sourire et m'éloigne avec Marc en crawl lent. Il va falloir mettre Manu sur le coup pour en savoir plus ! Nous sortons de l'eau et allons à la terrasse du bar. Manu vient nous servir et je lui demande aussitôt qui est ces trois jeunes gens. Il rigole car il les avait déjà remarqué et pensait bien que je flasherai dessus. Il me dit que son enquête donne que : ce sont 3 cousins de 18ans tout juste, qui sont en vacances seuls en récompense de BAC réussit. D'après ce qu'il a pu voir, ils sont dans la même résidence que nous mais restent entre eux. Manu n'est pas sur mais il a cru voir quelques gestes tendre entre eux. Sous toutes réserves ! Quand on cherche on finit par trouver le sens que l'on veut au moindre geste !

Le trajet en moto + la piscine dès l'arrivé, j'ai faim. Il nous sert en carte brasserie. Je ne quitte pas des yeux le trio. Soit je les intéresse et intrigue soit mon regard est si lourd qu'il pèse sur leurs épaules. Toujours est-il que régulièrement l'un d'eux vérifie que je les mate toujours. Marc n'est pas contre, après tout les vacances c'est pour changer de la routine (quoi que chez nous il n'y en a pas). De plus je connais mon homme ce type de ptit mec ça lui va bien !

Je décide d'attaquer vite avant qu'on me les prenne. Je laisse Marc remonter à l'appart et plonge dans la piscine. J'émerge entre eux non sans avoir regarder les maillots en passant. Excuses, présentations, de près ils sont pas mal du tout, deux cheveux courts et un longueur à la mode, musclés correct mais pas énorme sauf un plus " physique ", imberbes hors une ligne de poil qui sort de maillot pour remonter au nombril.

Le courant passe tout de suite, ils pensent que j'ai le même âge qu'eux. Quand l'un d'eux me demande si le type avec qui j'étais tout à l'heure c'était mon père, un des autres lui donne un coup de coude et rectifie en mon grand frère. Je ne les détrompe pas, après tout, cela pourra peut être nous servir plus tard. Je leur demande où ils crèchent et précise que nous sommes de l'immeuble. Ils me disent tous ensemble qu'eux aussi sont dans l'immeuble. Je leur demande comment est la mer cette année, car nous venons d'arriver. A ma stupéfaction, j'apprends qu'ils sont là depuis 15 jours mais qu'ils sont restés près de la piscine tout le temps. Je leur parle de la plage au dessus de La Palmyre où on peut bronzer comme on veut. Cela les intéresse, il me demande comment y aller. Je leur dit que nous irons demain et qu'ils n'auront qu'à nous suivre en voiture. Rendez vous pris pour 15h dans le hall.

Ce soir comme d'habitude, nous nous faisons monter le diner à la fin du service par Manu et Théo. Nous les gardons avec nous pour le reste de la nuit ! Nous les avons retrouvés comme nous les avions quittés, chauds, avides de sexe. Malgré la route, ils ont su nous redonner une vigueur qui nous a entrainé jusque tard dans la nuit. Leurs langues se sont attaquées à nos bites pendant que les nôtres mouillaient leurs trous, les enduisant de salive pour la phase suivante. Avant que leurs gorges aient eu raison de notre résistance et qu'elles aient tiré nos jus, nous les avons retournés et enculés l'un à coté de l'autre. Je me suis fait Théo pendant que Marc enculait assez virilement Manu. Marc a attiré ma tête pour que nous nous roulions un patin, nos petits amis faisaient de même plus bas. Pour plus de pratique, et pour changer un peu, Marc les a mis en 69 et nous avons repris nos enculades. Du coup c'était beaucoup plus pratique pour se rouler une pelle. On leur a rempli grave leurs culs de salopes (enfin la kpote au fond de leur culs !).

Dès le lendemain matin, j'étais en mode drague auprès de mes trois cibles. Avec Marc, nous avions défini un mode opératoire destiné à les faire tomber sous trois jours. Ils m'ont retrouvé vers 10 heures à la piscine. Cela faisait déjà une bonne demi-heure que j'alignais les longueurs avec un mec d'une quarantaine d'année. Ils se sont installés de mon coté, les jambes dans l'eau. Je les ai sciemment ignorés, continuant mon entrainement. Deux minutes plus tard le plus musclé des trois glissait dans l'eau et me rejoignait. Quand il m'eut cogné deux trois fois, je cessais mes allers et retour pour m'occuper d'eux. " Ha ! Bonjour ", les civilités plus tard, ils me demandaient si nous allions à la plage dont je leur avais parlé la veille. Ils m'ont l'air bien impatient de venir sur cette plage ! Je leur confirme l'heure de rendez vous dans le hall.

A 15 h nous descendons en tenu moto légère serviettes et huiles. Manu que nous croisons nous informe que les trois jeunes mecs nous attendent depuis au moins 1/2 heure déjà. Contact, description de la route et nous allons au parking. Sifflements devant nos motos, ils ont des scooters 125cm3 et casqués nous suivent. Arrivés au parking nous mettons nos engins nez à nez et cadenassons le tout ensemble (c'est Marc qui garde la clef !). Serviettes sur l'épaule et casque en main, nous crapahutons les presque 2km qui nous séparent de l'océan. Discussion à bâtons rompus sur ce que chacun fait, nous apprenons ainsi que ce sont bien trois copains, et non trois cousins, qu'ils viennent de décrocher le BAC avec mention bien et que du coup un des parents leur avait laissé la jouissance du T2 qu'il avait dans la résidence pour tout le reste du mois. Je tilte, T2 = 1 séjour + 1 chambre ! Innocemment je fais " oui nous aussi nous avons un T2, ça me fait coucher avec Marc mais étant donné la largeur du lit, ça ne pose pas de problème " et celui avec qui je discute me répond qu'il est tellement grand que eux y couchent à trois. Nous escaladons la dune qui sépare la forêt de la plage. Heureusement nous n'avons pas rencontré de mecs un peu chauds ! Du haut de la dune, nous apercevons quelques mecs nus étalés sur leurs draps de bains et quelques mecs dans l'eau. Marc prend sur la droite pour trouver un coin éloignés des autres. Les fringues volent, Marc se met nus et je reste en maillot (pour garder mes fesses blanches). Un des mecs me demande si la plage est naturiste ou non. Je lui explique que cette année je voulais rester le cul blanc car je trouvais cela hyper sexy. Les autres ont maté Marc et les commentaires élogieux sont sortis. Belle musculature, au fait t'as quel âge ? ... Yen a surtout un qui n'arrivait pas à quitter la bite de Marc des yeux. Sans bander ce dernier l'avait quand même un peu excité et elle avait pris une taille molle déjà conséquente au dessus de ses grosses couilles glabres. Après hésitation, les trois ont décidé de tenter le nudisme. Là derrière mes lunettes de soleil, j'ai pu voir distinctement leurs matériels. Correct, couilles rasées pour le plus balaise, les deux autres couilles rasées et les poils au dessus de la bite coupés courts. J'entraine tout le monde à l'eau. Plongeons, éclaboussures, les trois mecs ont vite fait de se bagarrer entre eux. Je les rejoints, passant sous l'eau et les faisant chuter sous les vagues. Marc nous rejoint et nous nous bousculons tous ensemble.

Essoufflés, nous revenons vers la plage. Quand l'eau nous arrive sous les fesses, je remarque que nous bandons tous. Les deux plus frêles hésitent à sortir de l'eau contrairement au plus balaise qui arbore fièrement ses 19/20 cm raides. Je comprends mieux quand je vois qu'ils ne développent qu'un simple 16 x 4 environ. Nous courons à nos draps de plage et les deux " coincés " se mettent sur le ventre. Leurs petits culs blancs sont à croquer ! Je me propose de les enduire de protection solaire pour leur éviter les coups de soleil. Sans attendre la réponse je leur étale la crème. Epaules, dos, mollets, cuisses et je termine par les fesses. Là je masse et n'oublie aucun cm². Je passe même entre les fesses, un doigt négligent glisse sur la rosette qui ne me semble plus vierge. Le balaise ayant fait pareil à son autre copain, je me mettais debout et lui proposais mes services. Il les accepta avec empressement et me dit qu'il commencerait par bronzer devant. J'étalais consciencieusement la crème sur ses pecs, ses abdos et jambes puis d'une main négligente enduisait ses couilles et la hampe de sa bite. Cette dernière repris aussitôt de la raideur. Avec un sourire, le me tourne et lui passe le tube. Il me couvre le dos de protection. Ses gestes sont doux caressants, très d=caressants même ! Il s'accroupi et badigeonne mes jambes. Marc sur le dos réclame son du et le balaise m'aide spontanément à le couvrir d'huile. Je traine volontairement sur sa jambe pour que l'autre finisse la sienne plus tôt que moi et qu'il lui reste els couilles et la bite. Sans se démonter, il recouvre le tout branlant deux / trois fois la queue de Marc. Comme il se met à bander, il lui demande si elle sert pour les meufs. Direct le ptit jeune ! Marc en profite et lui dit que non, chez nous nos queues ne servent que pour les mecs. Il se rembrunit et désignant ses deux compères, nous annonce que c'est comme cela qu'il utilise la sienne sur ces deux culs. Au moins maintenant les choses sont claires. Marc lui demande si ce soir ils avaient prévus quelque chose et à la réponse négative lui propose de venir prendre l'apéro chez nous.

Nous passons l'après midi à bronzer. Je commence à avoir une belle démarcation entre la peau protégée et le reste. Même si je suis le seul habillé sur la plage je vais le rester tout le séjour. Retour en début de soirée et nos nouveaux amis sont arrivés aussitôt après leurs douches. J'avais laissé Marc passer en premier et je sortais juste de la salle de bain comme ils passaient la porte. Nu, je passais devant eu sentant leur regards rivés sur mon anatomie (enfin celle qui jusque là leur avait échappée). Passé dans la chambre j'enfilais vite un Aussiebum wonder jock sous vêtement et dans ce simple appareil les ai rejoint. Marc en short flottant sans slip, laissait apparaitre son sexe au travers du tissu fin. Nos trois invités nous ont vite semblés à l'étroit dans leur short de surf. Le temps que je serve les apéros (fortement dosés), Marc les avait enjoints à se mettre à l'aise délaçant les cordelettes de celui qui était à sa droite. Celui de gauche s'est alors levé pour le faire lui-même. Debout il m'a rejoint pour voir de près mon slip. Je lui proposais de toucher le tissus et ses doigts sont venus le pincer sur ma hanche tout en reluquant mon sexe qui donne l'air d'être à l'étroit grâce au système wonder jock. Je profite qu'il soit " hypnotisé " pour appuyer sur sa nuque et lui mettre le visage à la bonne hauteur. Je n'attends pas et fais glisser mon sexe hors du slip. Comme je bande, mon gland se propulse sur sa joue. Il ouvre la bouche pour dire quelque chose mais mon gland la pénètre et d'instinct il se met à téter. Je regarde les autres et je vois que Marc se trouve avec les deux autres à ses pieds en train de lui bouffer couilles et bite. Le miens est tellement docile que je ne peux m'empêcher de lui prendre la tête et de lui saillir la gorge. Il ne bronche pas et accepte ma domination. Je me penche et pousse son short sous les fesses. Du coté du trio, Marc a déjà les doigts dans la raie du costaud. Ce dernier laisse faire. Telle que je connais mon Marc, il va sauter le plus mâle en premier histoire de poser dés le début l'ordre hiérarchique.

Je mouille deux doigts et les enfonce dans le fondement de mon suceur. Il gigote un peu, pas pour m'écarter mais plutôt pour les faire entrer plus facilement, belle salope ! Marc en est au même point avec le musclé, l'autre suce consciencieusement les 22cm qui ne vont pas tarder à envahir celui qui d'habitude les encule.

Le musclé semble subjugué par Marc et le laisse faire. Marc demande alors à son suceur d'aller bouffer le cul de son pote, laissant ce dernier reprendre son taf sur sa bite. Je me kpote et graisse ma teub et le cul de ma salope. Je le plaque sur la table basse et l'encule. Ça rentre facile, c'est vrai que la bite du balise est du même diamètre que la mienne ! C'est chaud, doux, glissant. Je lui demande de serrer l'anus. Il s'exécute et c'est meilleur ! Marc lui a mis son mec dans la même position mais sur le canapé la tête enfoui dans les coussins. Quand il pousse sur l'anus, un gémissement sort du canapé, il a l'air de morfler un peu le gus ! Marc ne cesse pas, de toute façon faut bien que ça rentre ! Quand ses couilles butent à la porte il reste un moment sans bouger puis commence lentement un va et vient. Les gémissements de douleur laissent place à ceux de plaisir. Faut dire que son pote inutilisé a pris l'initiative de pousser sa tête dessous et de lui bouffer la tige. De mon coté mon petit mec se tortille pour se rappeler à mon bon souvenir, j'avais cessé mes mouvements à mater mon Marc entreprendre le Mâle du trio. Je le laisse s'enculer tout seul un moment sur ma bite puis le prend par les hanches et impose mon rythme. J'active un peu mais pas trop, le spectacle est trop bandant et je risquerais de jouir trop vite. Mon enculé mate aussi son pote se faire saillir. Le troisième cesse de téter son pote et vient bouffer les couilles de Marc. Je connais mon mec, ça va accélérer sa montée de jus. Ça ne manque pas et bientôt la cadence augmente et il se cale au fond du trou, jutanat dans sa kpote. Le pote du dessous a juste le temps d'emboucher l'enculé et de recevoir sa semence. De mon coté je remplis aussi ma kpote et recueille je jus de mon enculé dans ma main pour le lui faire laper. Nous nous déboitons et je les accuse d'être de vraies salopes ! Building the image of the dish as one that was out of the reach of the masses only increased its popularity, and it soon became the most wanted item on the dinner table of the wealthy and the royals. While the dish is consumed today by millions of individuals yearly and is no longer ‘unaffordable,’ it is still an undercut that is pricier than the usual meat items.

Forever souvenirs

This Saturday I was faced with the hardest part of my entire trip: saying goodbye. So many memories were made in Paris, and it was difficult to leave all that behind. It only felt right to say goodbye by making as many last-minute memories as possible.

Of course, with finals on the way, my last week was some happy medium between preparing for those and checking off any remaining bucket list items. Monday after class, this meant a quick trip to le Quartier Latin prior to doing some studying. Situated between Paris’ 5th and 6th arrondissements, this vibrant neighborhood has been a long-term goal of mine to visit. The quarter is known to house a large student population due to the numerous universities located within. We found that we fit right in with the local age group and walked around a bit to find a cute and homey Mexican restaurant to try for the night.

Tuesday morning, we finally decided to take advantage of our morning time by heading to Shakespeare and Company, a bookstore popular among tourists for containing a majority of English works. The store had a great book selection and a cozy reading area upstairs. There is also the option to get any books you buy stamped with the shop location, which, in my case, made a great souvenir! That same morning, we decided to check out another coffee shop on my bucket list, République of Coffee, located by the République metro stop. I found them due to their renowned vanilla charcoal latte, which was too intriguing not to try!

Wednesday was another busy day filled with both morning and evening activities. Before class, we visited one of the local (and partially outdoor?!) malls, Westfield Forum des Halles, to grab some souvenirs for friends and family. I really loved their Lego store, which contained Lego models of several of Paris’ famous monuments!

Wednesday was also special because it was La Fête de la Musique, an international music celebration that takes place annually on June 21st. This is an especially important celebration in Paris, where you can find plenty of free concerts and other music events. To celebrate this, my friends and I headed towards the Seine and found some live music as well as people DJing. We had lots of fun dancing and celebrating this event in the true Parisian style!

After taking both my final exams that afternoon, Thursday marked the end of classes, meaning that we were free through the end of our trip. Thursday night, my roommate and I attended a program-sponsored viewing of Le Roi Lion (Lion King!) musical currently touring in Paris. The show was, of course, en français, but screens were placed on both sides of the theater with English translations. As someone who knows quite a bit of French, I enjoyed trying to process the plot in another language from what I had previously known it in. Just look how cool these costumes are!

Friday was our last full day in Paris and one we fully booked as to make the very most of. We started off the day by getting arguably my favorite souvenir, tattoos. My roommate and I had been thinking about getting tattoos from Paris our entire trip, and it seemed fitting to finally accomplish this our last full day. Following that, we enjoyed a final lunch at Petit Palais, taking in the lovely weather and architecture one last time. We then made a final trip to Montmartre, this time to purchase one of Paris’ notorious love locks and initial it before hanging it on the fence in front of the lookout to the entire city. Hopefully in the future I can come back and find my old lock! While in Montmartre we also stopped at their vintage photobooth popular among tourists to get a cute picture as a souvenir.

Friday night we had a final program dinner at le Brasserie Mollard, a beautiful art nouveau Paris brasserie. This is hands-down the nicest and most beautiful restaurant we visited our entire trip and made for a wonderful last group meal. There, I had the opportunity to try canard, or duck. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I actually really enjoyed it and was glad to be trying another distinctly European dinner after 6 weeks’ worth of mainly trying lunch foods.

Finally, to end off the night, we visited both the Seine and Eiffel Tower one last time, complete with a last beautiful sunset!

Saturday, it was finally time to say goodbye to the city that was my home for 6 weeks. After one final breakfast, we made our way (via Uber, I did NOT plan on bringing 2 suitcases on the metro) to the airport filled with memories from a wonderful trip.

After all my time spent here, I have nothing but gratitude for my time in Paris and know that this trip has helped to shape me as a person and broaden my worldview. Despite its challenges, adjusting to and then thriving in life in a new country will be an experience I always look back on fondly. It’s been a pleasure to be one of the bloggers for the trip and to share my experiences with all of you. I encourage anyone thinking about studying abroad to find a way to squash all the excuses and reasons not to and make it happen—you’ll be making forever memories!
