Chapter 13 and 14 have me reeling omg ma'am! 😭 The fluff 💗 the twists😱 the smut 🥵 We been blessed! I love how Tamlin is finally getting his healing arc/found family/Lucien romance because the way you write our boy is so cuteeeee!!! The flashbacks were adorable, Lucien is so handsome and adorable and I need both of them to be happy and cherished forever. Goodbye SJM canon this is what's canon for me now!
Few questions tho, given that you've named all the other 'nameless' characters like the Vanserra family, Tamlin's family, and other secondary characters is there are a reason why you haven't named Rhysand's family? Like is it because you're looking for a fitting name or a story reason?
Also, given that the new Dusk Court is seemingly a mix of Greece and Japan do you have headcannons for the other courts? What would Spring, Autumn or Winter be?
Finally I can't wait to see more of the Njght Court rebellion. After the whole Dusk reveal I'm excited to see their reactions and maybe backstory, and them with the Valkyries because Gwyn and Lunara would be such a cute friendship. Also Grim is best boy I love this man he's had one scene and now I need a prequel we stan himbo dad warrior in this house! He's what Cassian should've been!
Speaking of, Nesta needs to come back and read everyone for filth! Book 2 might be all about her but she so fun to read here too, especially as Tam's sister (they'd be cute as a ship too but platonic siblings Nestlin is life)
Anyway so sorry for the long message, I love your fic and I'm cheering you on! 💗
Aaaaaaaaa!!!! Anon c'mere and let me hug you! You're so sweet! Thank you so much!!! 🥰🥰🥰 it's been a joy to write this fic and while I already loved Tamlin and Lucien both as individuals and as a ship before, thanks to the fic they've gone up to otp status in my heart. I'm so excited to keep bringing you my boys and their adventures be it sweet and fluffy or high stakes.
Okay so to answer your questions, the reason I haven't named Rhysand's family (or the other bat boys family) is less interesting that twist a or story and has more to do with spite. I am spiteful AF when it comes to the page hogging bats and I refuse to give them any once of development or thought other than antagosnist. So I have zero intention of naming any of those characters because I know SJM would grant them names before the Acheron parents or the Vanserras or any other more important character. So no, I'm just a petty spiteful slug in that case. Sorry to disappoint.
Glad to hear you cought the Greece/Japan mix invented for Dusk. Given that Night seems to be based on Greece along with Middle East at least from what little world building we were shown I thought it would be cool to have them have Greek influence due to Night's colonization but also retain the Japanese inspired culture and aesthetic that was theirs before their fall. I have some ideas for the other courts but these are just headcanons.
Spring- Scottland, France
Summer- Kingdom of Hawaii, Polynesian, Caribbean
Autumn- Spain, Ireland
Winter- Russia, Norway, Korea
Day- Madagascar, Kenya, Roman Empire
Dawn- India, China, Vietnam
Dusk- Japan, Greece, England (Gothic period)
Night- Greece, Middle East
You shall get more Night Court rebellion content soon, I love this group and trust me you haven't met them all yet, lots of peeps want Rhys gone. Gwyn and Lunara will be good pals don't you worry, priestess stick together and I really want more Gwyn she is a delight. Seriously considering a prequel with them at some point.
Funny you mention Grim, he's the favorite so far out of the Rebellion oc's and while I love this precious edgy himbo he is not of my creation @maplesamurai made him as an NPC for one of our D&D campaigns and I've been obsessed with him since then (that version of him and of D&D Lunara are also a couple, mates in every universe baby!) So thank him for the best boy and best himbo. Cassian's got nothing on the best dilf!
Nesta too will get more page time, I'm just keeping from adding too much before her own book, while her healing is mostly happening offscreen and she will be stable by the time of book 2 girlie will have stuff to deal with later that I need to put off for now, but do expect her to get a good moment along with the rest of the squad. Also yes platonic Nestlin for life! They'd be an awesome ship, but as siblings they're a winning combo. Eris look out Nesta now has an older brother to keep an eye on ya once you're official!
Don't ever worry about long questions anon, I live for comments and asks and any attention so I'm absolutely delighted that you sent me this and so grateful you love my silly fix it fic! Thanks so much and I hope I've answered your question! 💙

Sees Spotify playlist for Lunara: "Aw, she is a funny character. I'll give the playlist a listen!" Listens 'My happy ending' on the list: Oh no 💔 Listens to 'Beautiful Tragedy': 😨 Listens to 'Panic Room': Where did this one come form?! Wtf is this song?! 😱 Last song the playlist is 'Complicated': Wtf happened to the slutty blue elf?! This one's right after a latino pop song, how did we go back to gloomy songs?! Side note: Your Spotify recs must be wild AF 😂
Hah anon you have no idea how crazy my Spotify looks. Half of it it's in English the other half in Spanish and then there's a tiny bit of songs in French, Greman and Japanese. Plus the generes go from Metal to Latin pop to techno.
Okay so onto Luna, the reason why there are a few darker songs it's because I have two campaigns with her. One on Sundays which is the main one and one sporadically during the week with one of my friends, which takes place between her breakup and the present.
Since the new campaign has some significant moments for her and is far darker, I had to add some new songs for it and will do so in the future too, like I'm doing with the main one. I'll explain em below.
🎵 Beautiful Tragedy by In this Moment
This one's a mostly bittersweet song, on the new campaign Luna finds out her ex-fiance is getting married to the girl he cheated on her with, just mere weeks after breaking her heart. So of course she's sad, and angry and doubtful. I felt this one fit since she is second-guessing everything including relationships. Who really matters and who's better off forgotten. So that's why this one's on the list.
🎵 Panic Room by Au/Ra
I needed at least one really creepy song given all that happened last session. So picture this, you, your brother, bestie and new friend are all being chased by some religious Silver Flame nuts who want to kill your brother because he's a werewolf. They almost kill him but you managed to completely brutalize the person who was going to murder him. Which let's face it, it's not healthy. Then your new friend is taken away by a slave trader and you have to deal with that but it must be alone because your bestie must look after your injured brother. You managed to seduce to the bad guy in question, steal his keys and free everyone, but he wakes up and is out to get you, and in order to save yourself and your friend you must kill him. So if we're keeping count those are two kills in one night, an injured sibling and a traumatized friend all in the span of 3 hours. It's no wonder Luna had an in game mental breakdown.
And since the tune is a mental breakdown in song form I say it fit perfectly with the session. Plus @milady-ichy-bloodrose had it on loop during the game and let's say if you're playing on a dimly lit room with this thing on loop you'll end up feeling a little spooked.
🎵 Complicated by Miss Li
This one's for the Sunday campaign. It was mostly spent with character interactions but I still wanted to add a song to the playlist. And since Luna is sulking cuz she embarrassed herself in front of her crush, this one fit. Poor dude's clueless as to why she's grumpy 😂 It's hilarious. All jokes aside, despite being happier and confident in this session, Lunara is still a bit insecure, so having a song where the singer is jokingly masking her insecurities and defects fits really well.

Lunara Le Clair (D&D Character Profile)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hi everyone! So given that I've gotten some asks and most of you seem curious about her I thought I should properly introduce my D&D character. Her name's Lunara and she's a Cleric night elf. Here's her official profile:
Full Name: Lunara Le Clair Blackthorne
Age: 23
Species: Night Elf
Class: Cleric
Eye Color: Blue
Skin color: Pale blue
Hair color: Purple
Alligment: Chaotic Good
Status: Single
Sexuality: Pansexual
Family: Cyril Le Clair (father)
Zion Blackthorne (father)
Johan Le Clair Blackthorne (adoptive brother)
Shellby Le Clair (sister-in law)
Yara Le Clair (niece)
Amir Le Clair (nephew)
Zyrin Le Clair (nephew)
Virluna Le Clair (niece)
Argentum Le Clair (adoptive brother)
Occupation: Wandering Cleric, Doctor
Religious Affiliation: Celestian
Stats: Strength 8
           Dexterity 11
           Constitutuon 15
            Intelligence 13
            Wisdom 20
            Charisma 18
Bio: Lunara was brought into being by   a couple of retired clerics, Cyril LeClair and Zion Blackthorne, They used a spell to create a child that had the blood of them both. They raised her in a small village near a forest, As a kid she studied diligently but was prone to getting distracted. Once she was twelve her fathers took her to a temple and she decided to train as a cleric, Five years later her education was complete and she became a traveling cleric aiding those in need, Aside from a mishap where she accidentally blinded a client in one eyes. After said mishap she returned home to her fathers, who had taken in another child, a young werewolf by the name of Johan. The two became close in no time and soon more happy news came about. The duke of the village wanted to arrange a marriage between Lunara and his son, Rowan. The pair agreed to the conditions and seemed to have a fondness for one another. However on the eve of the wedding Lunara found out her fiancé wasn't thrilled about their upcoming wedding and had been cheating on her for the duration of the engagement. Heartbroken she broke off the engagement and returned home. Her family encouraged her to take up traveling and healing again, despite her previous blunder, as they all knew it made her very happy. With renewed vigor Lunara set out again and became a much more experienced cleric. However she soon discovered her first client was now looking for her, and wanted revenge. Despite this she still travels and has found joy in forming new friendships, heated flings and a talent for musical arts. Currently she's doing well as traveler, Happy to join any group that's in need of a friendly doctor.
Personality: Extroverted, friendly, and a bit of a chatterbox. Lunara can be an overwhelming person if you like silence or prefer a much more subdued companion. Nevertheless she is very loyal and kind. She's also quite forward with her intentions, particularly when flirting.
Lunara has a soft spot for children and small animals. She's not keen on liars or people who want to profit off medicine rather than help others heal. She's sensitive and will be quick to cry if pushed too far. Her anger is silent but striking and she has a huge fear of failure.
Hobbies: Dancing, singing, dessert making, botany, reading, math puzzles.
Favorite foods: chocolate, hazelnut, creampuffs, blueberries, beef, potatoes, spicy stew.
Favorite drinks: piña colada, spring water, berry juice, cherry wine
Theme Song: Best Damn Thing by Avril Lavinge

Considering all that happened today. I think Lunara's gone from 'comic relief with a side of fanservice' to someone please give this girl a hug and some sweets!' 😭 But I have a feeling you wanna rant about it so, go off!
You're the best for letting me fangirl over my elf baby 😄 But to be fair, as DM you're determined to make us all cry over our own characters. 😅
Tbh I never intended to make Lunara's story seem so tragic, she has two great dads and a little brother she loves to bits yet having to act as her and lay everything out there does make it all sound more tragic.
I mean, it's pretty sad to see someone so confident be at her lowest. Being uncertain because you made a big mistake at your job is bad enough. But after you think you're over that and will find some happiness elsewhere, only for said happiness to fall apart in just a moment it's pretty brutal. Not to mention all the things Lunara did to be a proper duchesses and yet she still got betrayed. Plus the stuff you added is also pretty sad. I'd be livid if a man that cheated on me married someone else mere weeks after stomping over my confidence, and yet Lunara's not angry she's crushed. Crushed that she wasn't good enough for the person she loved, even if none of this was her fault. It's so sad, I wanna hug her too. 😭
Tumblr media
And the battle. Oh stars, did that get to me too. It's no surprise Luna would go off on anyone that hurts her family, but this was legit murderous rage and I love that the dice worked all too well for said move. Feels like something out of on anime, the baby going berserk (although Shellby is this group's baby. Don't wanna know what a berserk mermaid would do) Like, I know clerics are badass, but a cleric legit killing someone in a rage is 😱 Heck, seems Grim's tendencies rubbed off on her and they haven't even met at this point in time. I'm hoping she goes off on Sunday campain too. At least this mess was in front of her friends, if she was to do this on the Sunday group I think it would make all her new 'friends' second guess what she's really like. But I do love the whole 'Hurt my family and I'll wreck you!' trope. Too bad Johan wasn't awake to see his older sister save him and get revenge on his behalf. I have a feeling he'll be happy howling when he wakes up.
All in all, I love stepping into Lunara's shoes. She's just fun to play as regardless of mood, and I do like adding more and more details to her as the campaigns go on. Thanks for sending this, I really wanted to squeal about her for a bit. 🤗

Bio: Argentum was born in Thrane to an ex-paladin named Cecilia. He spent his formative years in her care until she was tragically murdered by a group of Lycans. After his mother's death, Argentum spent a few months alone, until he was found by one of her old comrades, named Bastille. He explained that Cecila once used to belong to the Church of the Silver Flame and served alongside him as a paladin, and that should Argentum want it, he'd be protected and cared for by the church if he joined them. Argentum accepted and quickly began his training as a hunter.
Soon he was out in the field hunting down beings of unnatural evil. Said life came to a halt when Argentum and his comrades were sent to eliminate a family of lycanthropes and he couldn't bring himself to take down their youngest, as he saw no evil in his eyes. He secretly helped him escape, hoping no one realized what he did.
After that incident, Argentum began questioning his beliefs. The uncertainty lasted for years, still he was hesitant to leave the church, as he had nowhere else to go. Out on a mission to Thrane he again met with Johan, the werewolf whose life he spared years ago. This time he tried to fight on equal terms but not only did someone else wound the werewolf before he would face him, but the lycanthrope's friends were also fiercely protecting him. This event caused Argentum to doubt even more.
Noticing his best hunter was close to leaving the church for good, Bastille decided to give him an ultimatum, either return with that werewolf's head or be turned away from his order.
Terrified of being alone once again, Argentum chased the party down and finally battled Johan on equal footing. He lost the battle and likely would've died if his opponent didn't use a wish-granting magical item to revive him.
Upon being revived, Argentum didn't know what he was going to do, as his defeat meant he wouldn't be allowed to return home, and he didn't want to fight the man who just saved his life. The group unanimously decided to let him join them in their travels, and he soon befriended them all. He changed his patron religion and became a warlock of the Sovereign Host.
He especially grew close to the bard, Desiree Nguyen, who helped him overcome his issues regarding his fate and also offered to let him stay with her once their travels concluded.
The group began dwindling in size when one of its members, Lunara, was offered a place at a guild in Breland, and Johan's wife, Shellby discovered she was pregnant and returned to their home in Aundair to watch her health.
Johan, Desiree, and Argentum all agreed to take on one last mission before going back to Aundair to help care for Shellby and her kids. Before setting out Argentum proposed to Desiree, who happily accepted and they were wed in a chapel to the sovereign Arawai.
Sadly the last mission the group had to face was a harsh one, as they were attacked by a powerful lich. The lich paralyzed Argentum and would've likely killed him, had Desiree not taken the hit instead.
Argentum was unable to help his wife as she bled out and by the time the lich was killed Desiree was too far gone. As she passed she bid her farewell to both Johan and Argentum, proclaiming her love for the latter one last time.
Argentum was deeply depressed after her death, only getting some joy after being officially adopted by the LeClair family and helping care for Shellby and Johan's children.
Currently, he's considering joining his new sister Lunara in her travels in Sharn.
Personality: Argentum is an introvert who rarely speaks or tries to socialize. He's often kind and lends his service to those in needs but can come across as cold and aloof.
He's fond of books, and visual arts, particularly drawing. Thanks to Desiree he has a newfound appreciation of music as well.
Argentum is a professional man, always aspiring to get the job well done.
Romantically he's a shy individual and prefers it if he's the one being approached rather than the one courting. He's Demisexual and his tastes would be considered vanilla but unbeknownst to most, he's willing to try anything his partner asks of him.
