A young woman in her twenties stands by the side of the road. Lips pulled into a taut grimace as she looks over the smoking engine of her small van.

Her red hair is frayed even more than usual and she lets out a defeated sigh. There's nobody around the long stretch of empty road where her vehicle sits, currently useless. "Just one thing after another." She massages her temples and hops inside the back of her van. Her equipment is fine, nothing's broken.

She hops back out and silently prays she can flag someone down to help her.

In the distance, the roar of an engine begins to grow louder and louder. Then, a man in a leather jacket hurtling down the highway on a red motorcycle comes into view, inspiring some hope that she might be able to get help from him.

Luckily Max notices her at the side of the road and his head swivels in place, frowning to himself as he pulls over on the side of the road.

Yeah… He knows what a broken down vehicle looks like. He whips off his helmet to reveal long, messy blond hair and blue eyes shining with concern.

“Hey!” He greets cordially, hoping not to spook her; he’s aware a male stranger approaching so suddenly might be considered dangerous. Max gestures to the smoking van. “Broke down?”

Fighting and bickering like children we went

On and on. Tearing each other down until we realized, we both hold the same goal.

Like we had long ago.

But even further still, we two draw closer into each others embrace instead.

Could this really be love?

Finally finished chipping away at this Moodboard for Archie and Max. These two hated eachother at first but, Archie found himself falling for who he thought was his enemy. Max's first male love, Archie.

Suzanne L is the diva film star (making her fifth Saint appearance!) opposite a dreadful #accented Leon Greene (perhaps why he was consistently dubbed by Hammer?). Greene's cowardly hunk star was purportedly based on Victor #Mature who'd starred in Samson and Delilah in 1949. Radd makes his second appearance‚ having guested back in 2.2 where like here he'd #played a movie studio exec (tho he's going more for laughs here than his repulsive blackmailer in the earlier ep). it's all quite slight #and quite frothy and there's no real danger for anyone at any point. oh also Lois Maxwell reappears‚ having played a wicked step mother at #the start of this season‚ here playing a glamorous Saint girl. that's range darling! and ofc she'd be Moore's Bond costar later on

Uh oh.

Well I can definitely see these three arguing, Izzy not saying anything and Archie making sly comments at Max. I figure after their first big monster fight with maybe a Manticore where Archie almost gets killed, the three would put aside their squabbles and help. After that when they're out camping they'd start understanding each other. Archie even lets Izzy rant about how alone she feels because of her Dad. How all the other kids get some trinket or sign that they're loved but Izzy hasn't gotten anything.

Max and Archie hug her and let her cry, comforting her.
