If prom was awesome, the afterparty was even awesomer. We all went to Arun's place and hung out in the basement. I learned how to play beer pong, and I'm really bad at it. I also learned how to do a line - I'd never done coke before but Arun had some and everyone else was trying it, so I thought, why not, right? It was crazy. I can't even describe it. But it gave me the courage to go and kiss Ava, right in front of everyone. And she kissed me back! We even made out in a closet.

What an awesome night.

I overshot my curfew a bit and didn't get back until the sun was up. My moms were PISSED. I'm grounded for like a month. WORTH IT!

finally got around to reading the Gigantomachia bc of Reasons and it's been… a wild trip tbh. My impressions so far (beware cringe):

The concept of Shun going to a Greek play is funny. The concept of Shun going to a Greek play and watching someone die… is still funny. Ironically.

idk if i'm too paranoid or whatever, but Altar Nicole being unable to help during the Greek theater fiasco is a little suspicious.

I love Mei's concept! He's got that big brother (heh) energy. And the fact that he didn't graduate bc his master (Deathmask) died is so funny to me. I'm sorry my sense of humor is so skewed, I blame Argentinian parodies.

Should I make a counter for every time Shun has been compared to a girl/called maiden? idr him being feminized as much in the manga. and the times where he would be "feminized" were… pretty tame tbh.

There's this part abt the history of Sicily which includes THE WHOLE Italy independency History and I'm like. Am I reading a Saint Seiya light novel or a Hetalia fanfiction? like???

like ofc the maiden in distress trope w Shun used to bother me sosososo much a couple of years ago, especially bc of the damage it did to the mainstream audience's perception of Shun's character, but at this point i learned to accept it as it is: fanservice. Man the anime team used to feed us three-course meals everytime Shun and Hyoga appeared together on camera, huh?

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom will soon make a splash on home video as the final DC Extended Universe flick looks set to become available on home video in time for the spring.

Per ComicBook.com, T he Lost Kingdom will be available on Blu-ray, DVD and 4K UHD on Mar. 12. An exclusive clip from the home release was included in the report, showing Arthur Curry (Jason Momoa) and Orm Marius (Patrick Wilson) attempting an unlikely escape. The news comes after it was confirmed the Aquaman sequel would make its digital debut earlier than anticipated as the DCEU blockbuster becomes available for streaming on Jan. 23, just over a month after it opened in theaters.

The home video edition of The Lost Kingdom boasts several bonus features, including Atlantean Blood Is Thicker Than Water, exploring the dynamic between Arthur and Orm. Along with the digital release, the home video version also includes a behind-the-scenes documentary with director James Wan exploring how The Lost Kingdom came together, a featurette chronicling the Black Manta (Yahya Abdul Mateen II) and other tidbits about key locations and sequences in the sequel.

The DCEU Ends With Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom

The Lost Kingdom marked an up-and-down end to the ill-fated DCEU, following up from the commercially successful Aquaman, which grossed over $1.15 billion worldwide. The Lost Kingdom has earned over $378 million in global ticket sales against a budget of up to $215 million, with the film reportedly needing to make more than $400 million at the box office to break even. Thanks to its overseas appeal, The Lost Kingdom easily surpassed all other DCEU films released in 2023, including Shazam! Fury of the Gods, The Flash and Blue Beetle. The sequel is closing in on Black Adam, which is next on the DCEU box-office charts at $393 million.

Also featuring Amber Heard, Dolph Lundgren and Nicole Kidman, The Lost Kingdom was panned by critics, receiving a 34% critical rating, though 81% of audience members liked the movie. The likelihood of Aquaman 3 seems low considering fan demand to see the film series has diminished. Wan insisted fan demand had to be high to ensure a potential threequel came to fruition.

The Aquaman franchise is also in jeopardy given the potential of Jason Momoa switching characters in the new DCU. Momoa has long been linked to playing a live-action Lobo in the DCU and has long been a fan of the comic book character, admitting he wants to portray the chainsmoking mercenary.

Para o ser humano aceitar as diferenças é um enorme esforço.

A natureza humana tende a ser excludente.

Nos filmes : Dogville e Boy Erased, ambos com atuações marcantes de Nicole Kidman, observamos o quanto, mas principalmente o como a sociedade trata os diferentes.

É claro que fatores culturais, históricos, sociais, econômicos, antropológicos afetam a intensidade das relações humanas.

Mas duas crenças populares que afirmam que " prego que se destaca, leva martelada."E outro, não há nada como um dia após o outro ou "deixa o prego que o martelo chama". Esse último dito popular traduz a ideia de que, de forma independente de esforços individuais, o próprio passar do tempo conduz as situações insólitas da vida às suas respectivas soluções.

Cabe perguntar, no entanto, se esses tipos de filosofias ou crenças podem ser aplicadas quando se trata de intervenções na saúde mental.

Criada pelo neurologista português António Egas Moniz, a técnica recebeu o Prêmio Nobel da Medicina em 1949 “pela descoberta do valor terapêutico da leucotomia em certas psicoses”. Leucotomia era como era chamada a lobotomia.

O problema ou solução está na chamada busca pela evolução dos tratamentos psiquiátricos.

Walter Freeman, um médico americano, tornou-se muito famoso por realizar a lobotomia em pessoas e possuía até mesmo um lobotomóvel, que usava para divulgar suas técnicas pelo país.

Seu método consistia em martelar um picador de gelo sobre o globo ocular do paciente, crânio adentro, até separar as vias que ligam os lobos frontais a outras regiões do cérebro.

Enquanto Moniz defendia que a cirurgia somente deveria ser realizada em pacientes muito violentos ou em suicidas, Freeman considerava que o método servia para tratar hiperatividade e ansiedade, sendo que mesmo crianças com problemas de comportamento foram operadas pelo médico.

Homossexuais também foram alvo da cruel prática, já que tudo na época era tratado como "defeito genético".

No entanto, um alto número de pacientes apresentava sérios problemas após o procedimento.

Muitos morriam, enquanto outros ficavam com deficiências pelo resto da vida, tais como lentidão na fala, problemas nos olhos, perda de movimento das pernas e falta de inibição social.

Estima-se que cerca de 50 mil americanos foram lobotomizados entre 1936 e os anos 1970.

Neste contexto, a eugenia e o higienismo,ambas buscavam a preservação das camadas privilegiadas da sociedade a qualquer custo da resolução do " problema".

O contexto da palavra " problema" está diretamente ligada ao processo de pensar sobre a existência humana.

O que hoje é um " problema", pode se tornar uma " solução", assim a observação, contextualização, análise e crítica dos fenômenos humanos ganha contornos que afetam a perspectiva e a percepção do espectador sobre o objeto e o processo a ser utilizado para tornar tangível e de modo utilitarista as soluções.

Mas o que parece lógico, matemático, racional pode descartar variadas hipóteses que podem vir a se tornar soluções.

Certo que errar é humano, permanecer errando é pura estupidez.

No processo de tratamento dos excluídos não há oportunidades para experimentos ou experimentações.

Isto leva a um determinismo dos excluídos pelos incluídos.

Darwin e Galton e suas teorias serviram as elites, por si já inclusas no processo de seleção das espécies.

Mas o que fazer com os negros, ciganos,

Quem define? Quem conceitua?

Para o ser humano aceitar as diferenças é um enorme esforço contra o SISTEMA e o que hoje é prego amanhã poderá se tornar martelo, com a sociedade invertida só se faz paradoxos e o ser humano não vive sem paradoxos.

É preciso viver e conviver com as diferenças dos diferentes e incluir os excluídos.

Depois do CERCADO DE BARBANTE, percebemos que precisávamos ter feito uma experimentação primeiro só com o barbante para nos familiarizarmos com ele. Sendo assim, na semana do recesso, fomos ao Parque Villa-Lobos e fizemos a experimentação com o barbante pela primeira vez.

No início, como estávamos um pouco perdidas, pedimos ajuda à duas amigas nossas, Núbia e Maria, que estavam nos acompanhavam. Começamos, então, as movimentações com uma brincadeira de contrapeso para testar a resistência do barbante.

Depois de um tempo, as meninas saíram e ficamos somente eu e a Nicole. Começamos a nos enrolar por partes, ainda um pouco perdidas. Mas, agora que sabíamos que o barbante não arrebentaria, ficamos um pouco mais tranquilas de forçá-lo. A ideia era uma enrolar a outra enquanto se desenrolava até que ficássemos tão enroladas que quase não conseguíssemos nos movimentar.

Eu fiquei totalmente perdida durante grande parte da experimentação. No começo, fiz várias vezes a mesma movimentação até que o barbante ficou tão enrolado que eu não conseguia mais passa-lo pela cabeça da Nicole e precisei achar outros caminhos.

Para mim, foi uma das experimentações mais difíceis de me concentrar e focar nela de fato, já que na maior parte do tempo eu não sabia muito bem o que estava fazendo.

¡Hola! Durante un tiempo me he dedicado a leer un libro llamado "Cuentos del encierro" y me han surgido distintos pensamientos acerca de este.

Primero me gustaría mencionarte que leyendo este libro he pensado bastante en cómo la gente vive un encierro y lo subjetivo que puede ser para cada persona, pero a profundidad llegué a la conclusión de que hay distintas maneras de vivir un encierro y no es solo estar en cuatro paredes, que es lo que solemos pensar.

Podrías perfectamente vivir encerrado en tu propio cuerpo sin poder mostrar quien verdaderamente eres, ya sea por miedo o inseguridad. Por otro lado podrías experimentar un encierro donde sientas que te encuentras en un lugar donde realmente no quieres estar. Como estos ejemplos hay muchos, es por esto que depende de lo que tú hayas vivido y lo hayas sentido como encierro a lo largo de tu existencia.

Un ejemplo de esto para mi, es el cuento llamado "La canción del hombre lobo", que sinceramente disfruté leerlo y lo interpreté de manera en la que un hombre esconde su forma de lobo, tal vez por miedo a lo que dirá y pensará su esposa. Esto es estar encerrado en sí mismo sin estar verdaderamrnte libre pudiendo mostrarse de la manera que es.

Espero que lo que te dije te haya resultado interesante o siquiera te haya puesto a pensar un poco, te recomendaría leer el libro si el tema te ha llamado la atención.
