Forsyth #3 is #30, But We Only Know About 29.

So, so many of you sent this in. Thank you! I am so happy to finally have an updated GrandDuggar count. Thank you, Jim Bob! Thank you, loyal readers!

Up until Joy's video, we know about 27 GrandDuggars—25 Already Born (Mackynzie to Charlie), and 2 In Utero (Duggar–Wissmann #1 and Forsyth #3). It was also widely–speculated that Siah + Lauren and Joe + Kendra quietly added to their broods this year. Knowing that there's 30 GrandDuggars, and three unaccounted–for, Duggar Data now considers Duggar–Swanson #2 and Duggar–Caldwell #4 to be "confirmed" births. (See This Post for more information.)

Note—We don't know when Hannah is due; however, we can be all–but certain that her Due Date is before Joy's. Joy is due on May 23, 2023, and she announced on October 5, 2022. Hannah announced before Joy, on August 30th. Theoretically, the very earliest one can announce a pregnancy is Day 29. (That's the day the woman would be expecting her period, but it didn't start.) It's highly unlikely Jer + Hannah announced that early... But, even if they did, Hannah's Due Date would be May 8, 2023, which is earlier than Joy's.

If Forsyth #3 is #30, there's 1 Unaccounted–For GrandDuggar—so, let's go over the possibilities for whose child it is or how this can be explained.

Could Joy Be Expecting Twins?

No. Per Joy's YouTube video, her OB confirmed via ultrasound that her current pregnancy isn't twins. Also, if she was expecting twins, Jim Bob wouldn't have described her baby as #30. He would have said #29 and 30, if he knew it was twins, or just #29, if he didn't.

Could Hannah Be Expecting Twins?

No. Jer + Hannah haven't shared much about their pregnancy, but they've shared enough to know it's not multiples. In the Pregnancy Announcement, Jer referenced a "precious little baby"—not babies. And in the Sex Reveal, Hannah wrote: "We cannot wait to meet our sweet baby girl"—not girls, or a boy and a girl, or whatever.

Could Lauren or Kendra Have Had Twins?

Probably Not, though we can't definitively rule it out. The Car Seat Photo featured one car seat, not two; and the Baby On Lap, Stroller, and Nursing Photos featured one baby, not two. That said, we don't have any evidence that proves they didn't have twins.

Could Some Else Be Pregnant?

Yes. And, if they are, they must be due before Joy—otherwise, her baby wouldn't be #30, theirs would. Joy is due May 23, 2023. So, the Unaccounted–For GrandDuggar is due on or before May 22.

Who is the other pregnant Duggar? Well, let's start by determining who is isn't...

Joy and Hannah's Pregnancies are known, so it's not them.

It's not Anna. Josh is in prison, and has been since December 9, 2021. She had Madyson on October 23. Even if she'd somehow managed to get pregnant between October 23 and December 9, she would've delivered by now.

It's not Abbie. She'll be <40 Weeks Post–Partum in May 2023.

It's almost certainly not Jill, since she would've had to conceive again within 8 Weeks of Freddy's Birth.

Irish Twins are rare, even for Predictor Families, so it's unlikely to be Katey or Kendra, who both gave birth in May 2022.

That just leaves Jessa, Jinger, Lauren, and Claire. Out of that group, Lauren is probably the least likely to be pregnant now, since she just had Baby C in or around March 2022. If she gave birth again in May 2023, that would be a very, very short—unusually short, even among Predictor Families—child spacing, which seems unlikely. (Especially in light of the longer gap between Bella and Baby C.)

Jessa, Jinger, and Claire remain. Of those three, Claire is definitely the likeliest candidate, as she's very overdue (~4 SDs) for Pregnancy #1. Jinger is also currently overdue, but less overdue than Claire (~1 SD)—plus, she seems to have jumped off the quiverfull bandwagon. That just leaves Jessa. If it's her, she's early—but, only by 3 Months. (Seewald #5 is currently forecast for August 2023.)

Whoever it is, they probably aren't that far ahead of Joy. Currently, it's Duggar–typical to announce a pregnancy at ~94 Days Along. If there was an announcement today, that would correspond to a May 6, 2023 Due Date. And if they were due on the latest possible date, May 22nd, they won't be "late" to announce until November 18th.

Could Someone Else Have Secretly Given Birth?

(Note—I'm talking about another "secret birth" on top of the now–known secret births of Baby C and Duggar–Caldwell #4.)

Probably Not. This would imply that the Unaccounted–For Grand has been born as of today, November 1, 2022. Right away, we can rule out a number of Duggars—

It's not Hannah. She hasn't been married long enough to be on Baby #2. (She and Jer tied the knot on March 26, 2022.)

It's not Joy. She said that this is Baby #3. If she'd had a secret birth, she'd be on Baby #4, not #3.

It's not Abbie, Jill, or Katey, since they are all <40 Weeks Post–Partum, and we're sure that their latest baby was their 2nd, 3rd, and 1st, respectively. (No chance they snuck in a secret one.)

It's not Kendra. She had Brooklyn in February of 2021 and she's believed to have given birth again in Late May 2022. There's no way that she's given birth again since May, 5 Months Ago. And, likewise, there's no way that she squeezed another pregnancy in between Brooklyn and the May 2022 Baby. There simply aren't enough days. It's not possible.

It's probably not Anna. While it's not impossible, it's a really tight timeline... Like, really tight. She would have had to get pregnant within <7 Weeks of Madyson's Birth, which is completely at odds with her typical spacing. If it did happen, M8 probably arrived in August, maybe Early September.

It's probably not Jessa. She is still active on social media, so it's pretty unlikely that she wouldn't have announced a pregnancy.

That leaves Lauren, Jinger, and Claire. Out of the group, Jinger is probably the least likely suspect. While she doesn't share her girls' faces on social media anymore, she just shared a Halloween photo that shows two toddlers with no infant in sight. As for Lauren, it is possible she's had 2 Children since Bella; however, it would require two really close spacings, since that's 2 Children in 28 Months. As for Claire, it's definitely possible she's had a baby by now. (She got married in February of 2021.) But, is she the type to not announce anything? I'm not so sure about that.

Could Jim Bob's Count Include Annabell?

Probably Not. Jim Bob + Michelle lost their 20th Child, Jubilee, at ~20 Weeks, but don't include her in counting their own 19 Children. Annabell was also an ~20 Week Loss. It doesn't make much sense that they'd count Annabell and not Jubilee, but we also can't rule it out. It's possible, but unlikely, that that's what's going on.

TL;DR—

Ultimately, the most likely answer is that there's another Duggar on the way, due shortly before Forsyth #3, and it’s Claire’s, Jinger’s, or Jessa’s. However, we can't rule out the possibility of Lauren or Kendra having twins, or of Anna, Jessa, Lauren, Jinger, or Claire having a "secret birth," or of J.B. including Annabell in the list of GrandDuggars. Also, maybe Jim Bob just can’t count… But, probably not. He seemed sure.

Eddie Redmayne to Lead ‘The Day of the Jackal’ at Peacock, Sky

Eddie Redmayne has been cast in “The Day of the Jackal,” Peacock and Sky’s upcoming reimagining of Frederick Forsyth’s novel and Universal’s film of the same name. He will also executive produce the thriller series.

Redmayne will play the Jackal, who is hired by the OAS, a French dissident organization, to kill then-president of France Charles de Gaulle.

Redmayne recently starred opposite Jessica Chastain in Netflix’s “The Good Nurse.” He is also known for playing Stephen Hawking in James Marsh’s 2014 biopic “The Theory of Everything,” which earned him the Oscar for best actor. Redmayne’s other prominent credits include “The Trial of The Chicago Seven,” “The Danish Girl,” “Les Miserables” and the “Fantastic Beasts” films.

He is repped by CAA, United Agents and Jackoway Tyerman Wertheimer Austen Mandelbaum Morris & Klein.

Ronan Bennett serves as showrunner of “The Day of the Jackal,” which hails from Universal International’s Carnival Films and was commissioned by Sky Studios and Peacock. Brian Kirk directs. Executive producers include Carnival CEO Gareth Neame alongside Nigel Marchant, as well as Sam Hoyle for Sky. Marianne Buckland serves as co-executive producer, Forsyth serves as consulting producer and Christopher Hall serves as producer. Production begins this year. The series will stream on Peacock in the U.S. and Sky in the U.K., Ireland, Italy, Germany, Switzerland and Austria. NBCUniversal Global Distribution will handle international sales of the series.

A "rogue nurse" in North Carolina has been arrested on murder charges after two patients died after he allegedly administered lethal doses of insulin, state officials announced Tuesday.

Johnathan Hayes, 47, worked as a nurse at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Centerand allegedly administered the doses in late 2021 into early 2022, Forsyth County District Attorney Jim O’Neill said in a press conference Tuesday. 

The prosecutor said that Hayes was arrested earlier in the day on arrest warrants charging him with two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder. 

Hayes allegedly administered a lethal dose of insulin to patient Gwen Crawford on Jan. 5, 2022. She died three days later on Jan. 8, according to O’Neill. 

The second fatal patient was Vickie Lingerfelt, who was allegedly administered a lethal dose of insulin on Jan. 22, 2022. She passed away on Jan. 27. 

Hayes was further charged with administrating a near-fatal dose of insulin to a third patient on Dec. 1, 2021, but she survived the dose, according to the district attorney.

Denise Potter, the vice president of communications at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist stressed Hayes' actions is not in accordance with the hospital's standards.

“As soon as we identified a deviation in patient care … we took immediate action to remove the employee from the patient care environment and terminated his employment," she said.

Hayes worked for Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist at various times over the last 15 years as a registered nurse and was terminated March 18, 2022, a spokesperson for the hospital said. 

O'Neill said the hospital conducted its own internal investigation and contacted the Winston-Salem Police Department and state officials in March to look into the issue. 

The investigation led by the Winston-Salem Police Department stretched for months including interviews, evidence collection and discussions with family members of the victims.

I was stumped on some Jeronica headcanons so I just decided to fill out a questionnaire. From @Imaginative OTP Imagines and I was so happy with how easily it all came to me. Thought I'd share.

1: Who spends almost all their money on the other?

Both there both pretentious ass holes who spoil each other.

2: Who sleeps in the other’s lap?

Veronica loves stroking Jugs hair while he's asleep. It's so soft and warm. And Veronica will curl up in his lap when they're watching shows and fall asleep.

3: Who walks around the house half-naked and who yells at them to put on some clothes?

Surprisingly it's Jughead who starts stripping out of his suits and dress shoes the moment he enters his home.

4: Which one tells the other not to stay up all night and which one stays up all night anyway?

Veronica Jughead is a complete night owl and will wake her up in the middle of the night. It drives her nuts. She can also tell when he hasn't gotten enough sleep and makes coffee for him in the morning.

5: Which one tries to make food for the other but burns it all by accident and which one tells them that it’s okay and makes them both cookies?

Veronica can not cook she is just to privileged (but if it's cold she's got a chance.) Jug doesn't make cookies but he will make them coffee or if it to late for caffeine (Veronicas opinion NOT his) hell make tea

7: Which one constantly wears the other’s clothes?

Veronica. She will wear his shirts, his flannels and even buys skirts or outfits that will compliment them.

8: Which one spends all day running errands and which one says “You remembered [thing], right?”

Jughead Jones gets. shit. done. Rent? It's paid in advance. Groceries? Veronica get random text asking her to pick up whatever organic or whole food thing she wants. Random things that come up he's got "rainy day money' and 'end of days' accounts locked and loaded.

9: Which one drives the car and which one gives them directions?

Neither it's New York Ubers, taxies, or personal driving is their mode of transportation. Sure Jug owns a motorcycle but he'll be damned if he ride it around the crowded streets of new york

10: Which one does the posing while the other one draws?

Jughead sees Veronica as a muse for his writing if that counts

11: If they were about to rob a museum, which one does backflips through lasers and which one is strolling behind with a bag of chips?

12: Which one of your OTP overdoes it on the alcohol and which one makes the other stop drinking?

Veronica will 100 percent get smashed when she's out on a girls night while jughead will nurse a glass of aged scotch for about 20 minutes

13: Which one likes to surprise the other with a lot of small random gifts?

With the new found cash he has laying around Jughead will leave little things here and there. A meal showing up at Veronica 's office. A new book laying on her nightstand. A new toothbrush in the holder. Veronica loves them all

14: Which one keeps accidentally using the other’s last name instead of their own?

Jughead, it started out as a joke when they first got together since Veronica changed her last name to Luna when she started college he suggested he change his too. It sounded weird but he will find himself introducing himself as Jughead Luna or Forsyth Luna. (Veronica's Abuelita absolutely adores it)

15: Which one screams about the spider and which one brings the spider outside?

100 percent neither Veronica will demand it die for it's crimes of simply entering her house while Jughead will place it outside claiming she can't play 'judge jury and executioner'

16: Which one gives the other their jacket?

Veronica Luna in Jughead's serpent jacket is 100 the most common sight on a chilly morning/day/ night. Jughead himself actually loves her capes he says it's like a 'portable blanket'

17: Who keeps getting threatened by the other’s overprotective older sibling?

Sure Toni topaz Sweet Pea and Cheryl aren't older or siblings but they sure as hell don't mind throwing out threats on behalf of keeping their family safe. Which one they protect you decide.

18: Who’s the first one to admit they have feelings for the other?

It was admittedly a waiting game… and a long drawn out domesticating process. Oh Veronica left her reading glasses on the night stand again. I'll bring them up to her with some lunch if she doesn't ask for them sooner.

19: How good would your OTP be at parenting?

Childhood trauma and promises of being better make them strive to be the best parents while also being the best partners.

20: Which one types with perfect grammar and which one types using numbers as letters?

Both they will only use 'got 2 go' to get on the others nerves.

21: Who gets attacked by a bully and who protects them?

Both can be slandered and the other just sits back and watches the verbal smackdown that's coming the bully's way.

22: Who makes the bad puns and who makes a pained smile every time the other makes a pun?

Jughead/ Veronica people are pretty sure it's a contest

23: Who comes home from work to see that the other one bought a puppy?

Veronica though Jughead's not that impulsive it probably happened once

24: Which one gives the other a piggyback ride when they’re tired?

Jughead 100. Being a night owl dating a early bird she will fall asleep before him and he's carried her to bed more times then he can count before and after they got together.

25: Which one competes in some sort of activity and which one does the overzealous cheering?

This is a perfect description of the couple when Jughead makes a breakthrough from a bout of writer's block. Veronica will literally stare at him with big heart eyes when he starts tapping away at a rapid pace because she knows.

26: Who takes a selfie when the other one falls asleep on their shoulder?

Veronica! And she will send it to the family with the caption 'see he does sleep'.

27: Which one would give the other a makeover if they asked?

Veronica will be painting Jughead's nails while on the phone or watching a show. She loves putting little touches of 'subtle but dramatic' makeup on him. He's actually pretty good at doing her make up routine.

29: Who will hold the umbrella?

Jughead cause he's taller

28: Which one owns a pet that the other is absolutely terrified of?

Jughead was horrified of Velvet (V cat) who haunted the poor man's dreams for a good amount of years. He still was devastated when he died.

30: If your OTP went on vacation, where would they go and what would they do? Who would take the pictures?

Paris because it's the place of romance and Veronica loves to speak French and have people understand her. Not many picture usually done by Polaroid

Traditionalism vs. Assimilation Among Indigenous Peoples of Siberia.

As is the case for many indigenous groups around the world, native peoples of Siberia struggle to fit into the modern global village while retaining their ethnic identity and cultural distinctiveness. Since the end of World War II, the indigenous peoples of Siberia have had a special legal status which allows for certain “affirmative action”-like quotas and benefits. However, the main aim of these policies was to integrate ethnic minorities into the all-Soviet people and to inculcate the “new Soviet man” mentality. Compulsory boarding schools, where children from different ethnic groups were brought together from the age of seven in a collectivist environment, often served as the hotbed of such Sovietization. The effect on native culture was disastrous. But, as James Forsyth in his A History of the Peoples of Siberia points out, “Russification began even before this, in kindergartens, where most nurses and teachers were Russian speakers. Even where some of them were natives, however, there were cases when children or the nurses themselves were reprimanded for using their native language” (here the parallels with Native North American languages are obvious). In the Soviet Union, it was believed that minority languages and cultures would die out under communism, and that “nationalism can only be bourgeois”. Since the fall of the Soviet Union, a number of new laws have been adopted whose goal is to preserve ethnic distinctiveness of indigenous peoples. But can the tables be turned?

“Here, let me *tend* to your wounds.” Zelkov approached Forsyth, bandages and clean rags in hand along with a couple of bottles for dressing wounds. “Magic can *inflict* cuts as gruesome as a blade. You may have *juice* as I heal you.”

The *juice* was handed over, Valentian orange.

Forsyth's spirits are not particularly high, after that showing. The updated standings show Python has moved on; perhaps this is his punishment, for choosing the Eagles over his partner's Deer.

He's almost too engrossed in his thoughts (not moping! Okay, maybe a little moping) when the...nurse, approaches him? A tall, dark man who offers Forsyth a cup of juice--something he does crave, but has a hard time allowing himself to accept. He's hardly earned it.

"Thank you." It would be ruder to turn it down, and Forsyth would rather not allow this man to see that he is feeling so down, so he takes it. It's just like the oranges back home, sweet and full with a distinct tang. Garreg Mach is an incredibly thoughtful place to work; or perhaps this man specifically made this decision.

He feels a little better, at least. And he's going to cheer on Python in the stands, whether he likes it or not.

[More–or–Less] Confirmed: Lauren and Kendra Both Gave Birth in 2022

On October 30, 2022, Joy (Duggar) + Austin Forsyth posted a video on their YouTube, which documented them telling their families that they were expecting Baby #3. About 5½ Minutes in, Joy Facetimes Jim Bob and tells him the news. She asks what 'number' grandchild this one is, and Jim Bob says: "Number 30."

Up until Joy's video, Duggar Data had 27 GrandDuggars on the list— 25 Already Born, and 2 In Utero (Duggar–Wissmann #1, Forsyth #3). For months, it has also been widely speculated—but annoyingly, not confirmed—that Lauren and Kendra had had their 2nd and 4th Child, respectively, earlier this year.

Now that we know Forsyth #3 is GrandDuggar #30—and thus, that our list is missing not one, not two, but 3 Grands—it is clear that we were on to something with our speculation... From now on, Duggar Data considers Duggar–Swanson 2 (Baby C) and Duggar–Caldwell #4 to be "confirmed" births.

When did they give birth, exactly? Good question! We don't know, and the data is very limited, but here's my best attempt to estimate with what we've got...

Baby C Was Probably Born In March.

Let's start with Josiah + Lauren. Here are the three major facts we have to work with...

Josiah + Lauren didn't attend Jer + Hannah's Wedding on March 26, 2022. They weren't in any of the photos or video, plus Josiah was conspicuously absent from the wedding party. (The Duggar Boys closest to Jed's age, from Joe to James, were groomsmen, but Si was inexplicably skipped.)

While at church on April 3, 2022, Josiah + Lauren were seen with an infant car seat at their feet. We'll call this the Car Seat Photo.

During church on September 26, 2022, Lauren was seen with an unknown baby on her lap. The baby wasn't wearing a bow. We'll call it the Baby On Lap Photo.

Additionally, many of y'all suspected that Lauren was expecting at Truett's Sex Reveal (October 4, 2021).

With the lack of a bow, the Baby On Lap Photo suggests Baby C is a boy. (This isn't confirmed.) Regardless, we know from the Car Seat Photo that he had arrived by April 3, 2022. Duggar Data thinks that he was born fairly close to then, and that that explains Si + Lauren's absence from Jer + Hannah's Wedding. (If Lauren was full–term, or had very recently given birth, they might've been reasonably unable or unwilling to travel so far, even for a wedding.) Given this, Duggar Data estimates that Lauren gave birth in March of 2022. The Sex Reveal photo also fits w/ a March arrival. Lauren would've been 4.5 Months Along—and very possibly "showing"—at the time.

So, we'll estimate that Lauren gave birth in March. Given my usual rule for estimating vague data like this, Duggar Data will use March 16, 2022—i.e., the midpoint of the month—as an Approximate DOB for Baby C, until and unless we get better data.

Duggar–Caldwell #4 Was Probably Born In May.

Moving on to Joe + Kendra... Here's the evidence that Baby #4 has arrived—

On or around June 16, 2022, Reddit discovered a photo of Joe + Kendra at a restaurant with their 3 Children, plus an unidentified infant (~3 Weeks Old) in a stroller. We'll call it the Stroller Photo.

On or around October 15, 2022, Christina Caldwell posted to FB and referenced having "grandbabies"—not just one grandbaby—born since February 2021.

Christina's October 15th Post also included photos, including one where you can see a woman in the background nursing. While her face isn't visible, her feet are and Reddit believes they're Kendra's feet. We'll call this the Nursing Photo.

Additionally, many of y'all thought Kendra looked pregnant at Jer + Hannah's Wedding on March 26, 2022.

Christina's October 15th Facebook Post references "grandbabies"—plural, rather than "grandbaby," singular—that have been born since February 2021. Honestly, this makes no sense unless Kendra + Joe have had a 4th Child. Brooklyn was born in February 2021, so she's the first "grandbaby" born in or after February 2021. And, we know she is not the only one, because Christina said "grandbabies." And, there's no one else who could've produced the other grandchild, as Kendra is the only Caldwell Sibling who is married. Barring an out–of–wedlock birth, which is so unlikely, it must be Kendra + Joe's.

As for when Baby #4 arrived... Assuming s/he is the baby from the Stroller Photo, it must've been some time before June 16, 2022. In the photo, the baby was said to be 3ish Weeks Old. Since we don't have anything else to go on, let's just assume the baby was 21 Days Old on June 16, 2022... That gives us an Approximate DOB of May 26, 2022.

None of the other evidence is overly helpful as far at the DOB goes; however, all of the evidence could be consistent with a birth in May. At Jer + Hannah's Wedding in Late March, Kendra looked pregnant. If she had the baby in Late May, she would've been 7 Months Along and obviously showing. The Nursing Photo could also be consistent with a May birth. We don't know when that photo is from, but there is a good chance Kendra is still nursing if she gave birth in May—so, there's no reason to think it can't be her in that photo.

TL;DR We don't know exactly when Lauren and Kendra gave birth, but Duggar Data is using the following Approximate DOBs—

Duggar–Swanson #2 March 16, 2022

Duggar–Caldwell #4 May 26, 2022

Both of these are rough estimates; however, I'm fairly sure the birth order was Lauren, then Kendra.

Screenplay: Bill Forsyth. Cinematography: Chris Menges. Production design: Roger Murray-Leach. Film editing: Michael Bradsell. Music: Mark Knopfler. Local Hero is one of those small charmers that pop up occasionally, get rave reviews, and then sort of fade into the background. It's worth rediscovering, principally for Bill Forsyth's affectionately whimsical take on human beings. Another writer-director would have played the subject -- an American oil company's plans to exploit a small Scottish fishing village -- for more blatant satire and social commentary. But Forsyth is more interested in the people than the issues, so he keeps sending the film off into little eddies of contingency and irrelevance. On the way to the village, for example, the representatives of the oil company, Mac (Peter Riegert) and Oldsen (a startlingly young Peter Capaldi, years away from Doctor Who), accidentally hit a rabbit with their car and decide to bring it with them and nurse it back to health. The rabbit is doomed for the dinner table, but its presence in the story speaks more about the characters than it does to any larger theme the film might be concerned with. Forsyth keeps us cheerfully off guard throughout the film, with features the larger-than-life Burt Lancaster in one of his most humanizing roles.

Well, there's a disinterested face if she's ever seen one. He didn't mix into the glitz and glam like the rest of the nobles, but unlike a lot of the commonfolk, wasn't taken by the extravagance of it all, either. Lene's curiosity is piqued to say the very least, and with arms linked behind her back, she curiously approaches the man.

"Not a fan of parties?" She clicks her tongue, "And here I was, hoping to poke you for a stamp. Maybe even a dance!"

Python's eyebrows raise at the sight of a young woman unmistakably making her way over to him. He thought he'd been projecting a pretty lukewarm atmosphere at best: quietly nestled by the wall in his loosened cravat and just-fancy-enough vest, nursing a goblet of wine while Forsyth went on his little stamp quest. And yet here comes this verdant little thing dressed up in soft pink and florals approaching him like he's got something worthwhile to give. He swallows another mouthful of drink and places the cup down on the white-clothed table beside him. "Parties can be great, I'm just not one for all the, y'know—" he slips his hand under his cravat and flips it upward, then gestures helplessly to the tapestries and jeweled décor. Finally, he settles for wiggling his fingers in a vague 'sparkly' type of gesture. "—Fussiness of it all." Still, far be it from him to deny her a chance for a point in the game of the night. He lifts his hand bearing his signet ring, emblazoned with a lone P in a gaudy looping font. "I can stamp whatever ya want, but I dunno how much more you wanna bother me for. The goal's for all the bluebloods to make nice with each other, right? Well, I'm a simple militiaman. Don't even got a last name for 'em to stick on my ring." He shrugs. "You could save your dances for folks who deal with estates and treaties and the like, s'all I'm saying." A hint of habitual mockery drips off of his description of her other potential partners.
