"We may all be in the same storm but we are all in different boats."
I became conscious of this saying during the first year of the Covid-19 pandemic, but I think it's still applicable with the current economic issues.
I heard a similar saying while recovering from cancer treatment: we may all have a cup of coffee but the cups we hold may be very different.
Some might have a lovely bone-china mug with a handle. Others might even have a saucer to catch drips. And then there's those with a flimsy plastic cup getting their fingers burnt from the heat of the coffee...
We don't know what others have, and they might not know what we're having to keep a hold of. So, it's best not to assume, but just to be kind instead.
I've found an article on this theme that you might find interesting: https://www.steve-judge.co.uk/we-may-all-be-in-the-same-storm-but-we-are-all-in-different-boats/

Please sail as safely as you can.
Thanks!

“THE ICON”
THE ICON is a new kind of flag bearer for sustainable water mobility. 13.15 meters long and with a maximum speed of 30 knots (55 km/h), THE ICON is the pioneer of a new type of watercraft with battery electric propulsion.
The vessel is equipped with a pair of 100 kW electric motors that convert 240 kWh of energy, supplied by six batteries from the BMW i3, into an impressive range of more than 50 nautical miles (about 100 km).

was sitting at a table in a store and noticed a stack of post-it notes on it surrounded by three tiny origami cranes, which delighted me. i made a paper boat to keep them company. it sounds silly but it genuinely helped me feel connected to other people, even though whoever made the cranes was gone.

Progress report on Origami King Retold
Here's an in-progress look at a location/vehicle I remade for scenes in Mario Story: The Origami King Retold, a fantopic retelling of the Switch game with the Paper Mario name. A notable number of newly added scenes will take place on this vessel.
There are some things still to be added and/or corrected. * Altering the blue stripe on the middle cabin to a lighter shade * The middle cabin interior * T Ode's Super Marino and lift for it * Some nonspecific islands in the background
