Though, this is likely just smth she made up as a result of a vivid dream she had when chowing down one too many corn nobs! Speaking of corn, she WILL talk your ear off about all the supposed ‘’proof’’ she has of alien existence, like the crop circles that show up frequently around her hometown. That being said, she IS determined to prove herself for her alien overlords, so prepare for a challenge!

A huge fan of ABBA, if that wasn’t already obvious, veteran Queen’s entire gimmick is based on that of 70’s pop and disco. She’s also by far the happiest person of perhaps the entire WVBA, despite being arguably the lowest ranking champion of all circuits. Some even theorize that she’d be happy, even if she was THE lowest ranked boxer. That’s because everytime she gets in the ring, she’s 17 again. That’s just how happy those Swedes are !

An unsuccesful artist turned boxer, Monarch Mayhem brings her frustrations into the ring, and with success! She is the crown jewel of the Major Circuit after all. That being said, she will NOT let you forget she's an artist! She will try to hypnotize you with stunning butterfly patterns on her sleeves made by herself of course, and dodge equally elegantly. At least the boxing crowd appreciates her !

You knew hate was a strong word, but that was all you could feel for your coworker, Choi Seungcheol. When Seungcheol first joined the flower shop, you didn’t mind him. You realised he was only capable of making one floral arrangement.
At first, you found it cute. You’d help him, teach him, but after a while, you realised he didn’t even pay attention, and that’s when your pettiness began, and Seungcheol matched it by being extra petty.
“Choi Seungcheol!” You exclaimed, knowing he hated being called by his full name.
“How many times do we have to go over this, Y/N? I don’t like being called by my first name?” Seungcheol complained, and you rolled your eyes at his whining. Seungcheol whined a lot. You’d never admit it, but it was adorable. A grown man who was tall and buff whined like a toddler. Only Seungcheol could be that cute, but he didn’t have to know.
“Why is there an order in the system for a wedding?” You questioned. “You know that we are short-staffed right now.”
“Look. I do, but it’s only a wedding with 80 people, and this lady and her husband waited for their wedding for five years because life kept getting in the way. You wouldn’t deny a couple of that joy, would you?” Seungcheol asked hopefully, grinning widely at you.
“Besides, I told them that the best florist in Seoul was the only choice for their special day,” Seungcheol boasted, and you scoffed.
“Of course I am, but you? You won’t even bother helping. It’ll just be me doing all the work,” you complained.
“I’m an excellent supervisor,” Seungcheol added.
“No, you’re just a pain in my ass,” you mumbled.
“Oh? You know I could help take the pain away,” Seungcheol teased, and you glared at him.
“I will break a flower vase over your pretty head if you even try,” you threatened.
“You think my head is pretty?” Seungcheol asked, and you glared at him again before storming into the back room.
“So, how do you want to get to the venue?” Seungcheol asked you later that evening as you were cleaning up your station. The shop was bustling, and all the arrangements came to you because Seungcheol was incompetent and too busy wooing more customers to buy more flowers without concern for your workload.
“What venue?” You asked, gritting your teeth.
“Ouch? What’s gotten you so huffy?” Seungcheol asked.
“You’re no help, and now you’re here trying to be chatty,” you spat.
“I got you so many orders, though!” Seungcheol protested.
“I didn’t need them. You know I’m busy,” you fired back, and Seungcheol frowned.
“Hey!” A voice interrupted, and you turned to see your manager staring at you and Seungcheol disapprovingly.
“Look, I don’t know if this is a situation of lovers who are too blind to confess, so they just verbally abuse one another? Or if you two hate each other, cut it out, at least for the weekend. This wedding would be huge for this business, and after that, we can discuss a plan or something that involves less interaction with you both, but for two days. I need you to behave. Can you do that?” Your manager asked, and you looked at Seungcheol, who avoided your gaze.
“Yes, I can. I don’t know about her,” Seungcheol said, throwing you a cunning smile.
“Seungcheol,” your manager warned, making him pout.
“You see what I have to put up with?” You complained, and your manager glared at you.
“Two days, just two days, make it work,” your manager pleaded, looking at you and Seungcheol, and you both sighed before nodding and agreeing.
For the sake of your job, you both would make it work.
Choi Seungcheol [7:58 am]: Morning, darling, I’m downstairs. On time, the flowers shall be delivered to the venue. I got you coffee, so please make your way down if you don’t want to get stuck in traffic.
You [7:59 am]: Yeah, I’ll be down.
Choi Seungcheol [8:00 am]: So cold, should have gotten you something warm to drink instead…
Choi Seungcheol [8:01 am]: See you soon, kitten, xoxo.
You let out a groan, kitten? How dare he call you that, and not just because that word had you feeling a certain way, but kitten? Who did he think he was?
You grumbled to yourself, grabbed your duffle bag, and made your way out of your apartment, triple checking to ensure you locked the door four times before heading downstairs to find Seungcheol.
“Morning, sweetheart,” Seungcheol greeted, and you shot him a look.
“Why the nicknames?” You asked.
“I’m trying to be friendly.”
“Well, it’s weird, so stop,” you mumbled.
“Fine, Y/N,” Seungcheol answered with a pout.
“Shall we? It’s a bit of a drive, and I really don’t want to get stuck in traffic,” you offered.
“Yeah, let’s go.”
“Oh, before I forget, here I put your coffee and some breakfast muffins for snacking,” Seungcheol offered as he pointed to the console.
“This is really kind of you, thank you.”
“See, I can be considerate,” Seungcheol bragged.
“Yeah, one coffee and breakfast muffin won’t change how much of a pain you are at work,” you teased, making Seungcheol pout.
“But you’re off to a good start Choi Seungcheol,” you added, making Seungcheol groan.
“I told you I don’t like my full name being used,” Seungcheol whined.
“Okay, why, though?”
“It feels distant, detached and cold. I feel like I’m being told off,” Seungcheol mumbled.
“To be fair, whenever I use your full name, I am usually telling you off,” you joked, making Seungcheol frown more.
“You can just yell at me. That’s better than full naming me,” Seungcheol offered with a grin.
“You got a degradation kink or something?” You asked.
“No, but I’ll tell you my kinks if you tell me yours,” Seungcheol teased with a grin.
“Shut up.”
You weren’t sure when you dozed off, but the next thing you knew was Seungcheol was gently shaking you awake.
“Hey, Y/N, we’re here,” Seungcheol said softly as you stirred awake.
“Fuck, I’m so sorry I fell asleep,” you apologised, knowing you broke a universal law. Do not fall asleep at the passenger seat.
“It’s okay, traffic was light and honestly it was kind of peaceful,” Seungcheol teased and you glared at him. Maybe you didn’t feel that bad.
“Come on let’s check in,” Seungcheol said as you slowly made your way out of the car, grabbed your things and headed towards the hotel.
“I can’t believe our manager gave us a room to share,” you grumbled, as you entered the hotel suite.
“Correction she gave us a suite to share with separate bedrooms, it’s really not that bad,” Seungcheol offered and you pouted.
“Fine, but don’t snore loudly and disturb me,” you mumbled.
“I do not snore!” Seungcheol protested.
“You fell asleep in the shop once and you snored so loudly that you woke yourself up,” you teased making Seungcheol sulk.
“Such a meanie,” Seungcheol pouted.
“You’re adorable when you sulk,” you said with a fond smile making Seungcheol grin at you.
“I’m always adorable,” Seungcheol corrected, and you frowned at him, but you did agree, but you’d never tell him.
“Rise and Shine. I got you breakfast. We need to be the in the ballroom to start the decorations in an hour!” Seungcheol yelled the following day as you entered the living room.
“I’m up,” you whined as you towelled your wet hair.
“Aww, kitten, it’s sunny out. Put a smile on your face otherwise, you’ll ruin the delicate flowers if you’re just angry,” Seungcheol babbled, and you glared at him.
“Hey, how do you know I like this?” You asked as you looked at the plate Seungcheol set up for you.
“Simple, I pay attention,” Seungcheol said with a smile and you felt your heart swell. You never expected him to know so much about you, but it was the same way you knew how he liked his coffee, what his favourite colour was, and his favourite author. You didn’t have to know any of it, but you paid attention too.
“You keep staring at me, quit it,” you muttered as you delicately arranged the peonies into a beautiful centrepiece.
That afternoon you and Seungcheol were busy arranging the ballroom with flowers and making intricate decorations for the reception.
“I can’t help it,” Seungcheol mumbled.
“Why?”
“Well, you look so beautiful doing what you love,” Seungcheol said, making you glare at him.
“Shut up.”
“I can, but it doesn’t take away from the fact that I meant what I said,” Seungcheol remarked with a grin.
“You see me working all the time. How come you never compliment me then?” You challenged.
“Because it’s usually in a full shop with other people around, and I don’t know. I only want you to hear the compliments, not everyone else,” Seungcheol offered, making you smile shyly at him.
“Well, thank you, and for what it’s worth, you weren’t too insufferable during this trip,” you offered with a grin.
“I call you beautiful, and you call me mildly tolerable. What does a guy have to do to win your heart?” Seungcheol said dramatically, making you grin.
Little did he know that he didn’t have to do too much.
“Cheol?” You called out from your bedroom, hoping Seungcheol could hear you. You detested cocktail gowns for their design, you could never reach the zipper and always ended up asking for help, and this dress had fancy straps that you couldn’t fasten.
“You hollered?” Seungcheol asked as he entered your bedroom.
“Seungcheol, can you please help me tie this? I promise I’m not trying to be a smartass. I’ve been at this for ten minutes, and I keep screwing up,” You asked as you held the thin strips of your halter with one hand on the back of your neck.
Seungcheol stared at you for a second and nodded, and you turned around so that your back was facing him, and Seungcheol took a deep breath when he saw that your gown was backless, placing an arm around your waist and pulling you closer.
You melted in his arms; his toned body felt like heaven against you.
“How tight?” Seungcheol asked, his words making your core throb.
“I’ll tell you when to stop,” you responded. You could do the same to him if he wanted to tease you. You bit your lip in an attempt to stop grinning when you heard him curse under his breath as he pulled on the straps.
“Right there?” he asked, and you nodded.
“Use your words,” Seungcheol whispered, his hot breath against your neck.
“Yes, right there,” you breathed out, and Seungcheol complied, tying the knot, and you felt his hands trail down your neck to your bare back, and you had to bite harder on your lip to not whimper at his touch.
“All done,” Seungcheol mumbled, and you turned around, his face mere inches away from yours.
“You look breathtaking,” Seungcheol complimented, making you smile.
“So do you. I wouldn’t be surprised if all the bridesmaids flock to you,” you teased, and Seungcheol shook his head.
“They can flock, but there’s only one girl worth my time,” Seungcheol responded, making you gulp.
“Shall we? We can’t be late,” Seungcheol offered with a grin.
“Yeah, let’s go,” you mumbled. You’d just have to curb your desire for him for now, but once the reception started, you would rile Seungcheol the way he had riled you up.
Your plans were shot to hell the minute you walked into the ballroom, several of your floral arrangements had been destroyed, and you weren’t sure who did it, but you heard the giggles and screams of children in the ballroom and knew you found your culprits.

I THOUGHT THAT THEY RELEASED ONLY ON SUNDAYS HELP? WAIT? ANYWAYS so i read this a little later than I wanted to since i thought it released tomorrow but thats okay.
Its review time!! I have a little less to say this chapter than the last two, but I still have a little word
spoilers, obviously

Tbh Im KIND OF GLAD THAT HE JUST DESTROYED HIM HE WAS BEGINNING TO GET A LITTLE ANNOYING...
Its interesting to think about it.
He could have been downright offensive to these three as all of the troupe is still processing the deaths of Shalnark and Kortopi and hes just telling them to discard all of that.
Imagine if somebody like Luini showed up after Uvogins death/during their requiem.. yea... I have a feeling Nobunaga would be even more pissed.

In the previous chapters and stuff he just looked so strange and it wasn’t bothering me or anything but yaa there he is.
Luini is the negative fanbase and This guy is the positive fanbase.

We have a Pro Gamer and a Game Centre Employee. They either get along very well or hate each other with a burning passion. Either way, I want to see if they have a dynamic bc thats interesting.

I like this guy he seems silly and i like silly people, so. He’s yet another cheery light haired guy that very vaguely resembles shalnark (the other being Giuliano, i love Giuliano by the way I really like Giuliano, anyways heres a comparison)
Nonetheless please don’t stop making this brand of guy he’s just like me.
Matovelle gets an extra point though because he is probably also insane.
I love when the characters are so short compared to the others that you can only see the very top of their heads.
I feel like this person is also going to be dangerous... they look like the Hei-Ly underboss (I think??), so im sensing a little bit of a pattern lol. (please bring back the Hei-Ly underboss lady or whoever she was i need her i anyways)

THEYRE ALIVE AND AND I LOVE THE WAY THAT ZAKURO WAS DRAWN AND AN ANYWAYS I NEED TO CALM DOWN. phew ok... I am beginning to like Lynch and Zakuroa lot theyre great.
I feel like theyre getting themselves into yet another hassle. Hopefully this time they won’t underestimate their enemy, that is if they do find them this time.
This seems like a pretty good deal, but theres got to be a catch later. I’m guessing that may be Chrollos state of mind by the time they find him... Again, given that he looks like this

PSHHH I HOPE HE NEVER STOPS PUTTING REFERENCES IN HXH. The movie theater was a perfect place to do this.
Im pretty sure that this is Alien but I cant see it very clearly.
It would be so fun to have a concept like the Thing come into play in the succession war... I think that it would be a perfect opportunity for horror. I mean we already have Prince Tserriednich’s first Nen beast. I’m so excited.
And there he is. Gah I love the framing of this panel. You can see everybody’s face but Hisoka’s, and he’s split in the middle with all the white space of the theater. It gives an ominous feeling specifically towards Hisoka.
Just an aside here, too, the way Hisokas hair is styled and the way his eyes are drawn looks similar to Chrollo’s the last time we saw him, which is interesting to me. The resemblance isn’t too strong, but It’s interesting to think about.
The way that he just sits down in this panel and immediately starts talking is so funny to me just change the text to anything.
ANYWAYS thats unrelated. I really like this scene. I get the impression that Hisoka is above it all, and just deciding to comply with what Xi-Yu and Cha-R wants without any true dedication, and I feel like Hinrigh is aware of this because he knows exactly the type of person Hisoka is, so he’s being honest.
I’m also beginning to really like Hinrigh as well because of his intuition, understanding, and efficiency. No wonder he’s the underboss. Knowing and dealing with the type of freak Hisoka is is no small feat.
Hes trying to mess with him by getting close but Hinrigh is just like ‘Ok.’
This was an awesome interaction though tbh. I want to see more conversations between them since its an interesting dynamic. Hinrigh isn’t directly against Hisoka, which is seen in his disinterest in getting in the way of his and the spiders quarrel, so they agree over that, but he has to keep him under surveillance due to the situation. Everything about Hisoka goes against this, however. He is going to defy this without question, and I am certain Hinrigh knows this, so what does he have in mind to stop him?
these must be more references. the girl choking the other one seems familiar but i dont know about the others and I dont know what that one is from.
The other part isnt super interesting to me, so I’ll leave it for me to delve back into on another read. I often understand things better on the second time anyways.

Gosh, these page layouts are great, the shading of the bed on the second one I am enjoying thoroughly, and again with the middle focus and the front and back look at the room... aaahhhhhhghhgg anyways.
WHY ARE HINRIGH AND THE OTHER GUY SO TALL (I forgot his name uh oh). It’s either that or the cabins are very small, which is probably the case.
Its funny, this page layout is a little unnerving, and then you just see how short the doorway is ...
Final thoughts on the chapter, Hinrigh is so cool, and this guy definitely is hiding something. I think he’s not a threat himself, but rather is innocent and is being forced to cover something for somebody who is a threat.
A little later than I wanted to post my review but its okay. I’m looking forward to the next one, since honestly I don’t know what it’s going to throw at me. Often times it proves my predictions wrong, but thats okay, it’s fun to think about more.
It’s nice to know people actually read these too, it’s relieving to write these down to get all of my thoughts out, and I feel happy when other people actually acknowledge them even though theyre often just rambles of things off the top of my head when I read these things lol.
I plan to read and review all of the chapters (if i can)!!

cws: pregnancy, briefly implied inconceivable human suffering, dismemberment, kinda gross but brief discussion of rotting after death
oc god's name is lothile; its the twin sibling to vinushka to represent the tranquility of death and decay (like basically it controls the death cycle. freshly deceased, bloated from gass buildup, becoming nutrients to the earth, then "dust"/skeleton time.) (for my brain's sake its just animals and obviously humans bc id throw up if i had to incorporate plants and bacterium)
lothile tends to consume the spiritual essence of everything that dies (so its often associated with gluttony but thats a different thing) and spits it back into the corporal world so it can be recycled
rher doesnt totally vibe with this bc that means Hey human souls are being reused. what if they didnt. What if nothing died lol
rher proceeded to start shit and get gro-goroth pissed at lothile (not totally sure what yet but its enough to warrant murder. So.)
gro-goroth proceeds to dismember lothile and make it unable to work its godly duties so guess what
nothing dies! this goes on for 7 years and every living thing is miserable. i could go into detail but its Rough. theres hardly anything to eat and theres hardly anything to fertilize the earth
people are vigorously and kind of aimlessly praying for lothile to return in some way. luckily, sylvian listens
she gathers the 5 severed parts of lothile and grants five ppl who are capable of pregnancy a specialized womb
these ppl kinda have to um. Eat them now which leads them to being pregnant with 5 lothile fragments

hellooo! new follower here! I was wondering if you could tell us what your stances on the The Hunger Games movies are? and thoughts on the new TBOSAS movie announcement? very curious!

my stances on the movies are..... HMMMMM
on one hand, i adore the cinematography of THG and CF. in terms of what is physically happening on screen, the first movie in particular is beautiful and poignant and there are so many scenes i love (e.g the opening scene with seneca and caesar, the cornucopia scene, katniss putting flowers around rue's body, her tracker jacker hallucinations). imo the cinematography is one of the strongest qualities the first two movies have going for them. the last two are generally a disaster and i think thats due to a bigger budget and the fact that they feel like blockbusters - they lack the intimacy of movie 1 so i generally find them more boring visually etc etc.
i also think some of the casting was good! namely josh hutcherson as peeta and elizabeth banks and effie. sam claflin was good as finnick and donald sutherland was a fab snow too imo. (stanley tucci as caesar as well! he nailed the balance between the flamboyancy of the capitol and it's more sinister side.)
movie 1 means a lot to me, and it always will so i watch it often BUT that is not to say it's not without fault.i have a lot of problems with the franchise and so it's hard for me to love the movies as much as i think i could.
i don't like the casting of jlaw, liam hemsworth or woody harrelson. and it's nothing against their acting, tbh. it's more about the fact that i have a serious problem with lionsgate saying that only white ppl could audition for the roles of katniss, gale, and haymitch (and greasy sue too which??? weird). i've said this before but by preventing non-white actors for those roles in particular, the filmmakers depoliticised the story to an extent and missed out on a chance to address the idea of "seam" being a race alongside it being a class (i'm just brushing over this topic rn bc whilst it's something im deeply passionate about, i don't want this to become another essay about THG and race bc lord knows i've bored so many people with my ramblings rip :')
beyond that, i'm not too keen on how many of the book's themes were ignored or glossed over. finnick's SA and the fact that he was forced into prostitution by snow, the capitol's hoarding of resources, the nuances of being a career, the careers in the 74th games planning to torture katniss etc etc. these are just some of the examples that im reeling off the top of my mind, and they're topics that are barely shown in the movies.
what i'm trying to say is that there was an opportunity to make such a beautiful franchise that accurately reflected the books and didn't shy away from the heavier themes or the symbolism in the books, but instead we got movies/marketing that focused on "team gale/team peeta" and "what district would you be in?". it frustrates me immensely bc an opportunity was missed!
okay phew let me catch my breath.
in terms of TBOSAS, i don't trust lionsgate to not fuck it up so i'm just very cautious about it all honestly. i want to believe they'll learn from the mistakes the last movies made and improve on them but we'll just have to wait and see! i'd love for lucy baird and sejanus to be played by non-white actors, i'd love to see a return to visuals reminiscent of the first movie and i'd love for the filmmakers not to shy away from heavier themes! but idk how likely any of these things are so i'm just keeping my fingers crossed!

JO Molly! Explain to the class how you go about designing your characters and choosing things like bodytype, markings, special things etc etc etc.
And if you have one / noticed one - what is your design quirk that can be found in a lot if not all of your OCs?
Phew, thats a tough one! Mainly because I'm horrible at designing new characters honestly. Usually there is a personality, maybe even a name before I start designing anything. I usually have rants about the new character idea and flesh them out before I first set my hands on them xD
For humans, I go with whatever my imagination sees when I think of that character. It's... right there in my head. The thing I struggle the most is hairstyles, man. I feel like there are just 5 different hairstyles that look 'normal' and everything else looks super exaggerated like in animes. So I often struggle a lot with the hairdo xD
As for furry characters, I draw a lot of inspiration by the species I chose. I am super, suuuper uninspirational when it comes to markings. I have no eye for it, and all my characters look bland and simple.
And I guess that is my trope? I like realistic looking characters, and they usually end up with very straightforward and simple designs. Though I tend to give most of my babies claws or sharp/defined fingernails. Also... long hair uwu

I think you would like it (if you haven't watched it already) since you’re into family dynamics and all. It’s just extremely long skskkssksk and takes months to finish.

I dont always skip those songs except maybe cowboy like me. I like sad songs or even slow ones, but it just feels like a slog to get through that one in particular. I dont really love the chorus of happiness so I think that might be it lol. I do like evermore, I just dont love bon iver's verse. I liked the background vocals but I didnt like the switch up between her part and his, it takes me out of the song so I think I got used to skipping it. my most listened to rn I think is no body no crime, it's just such a vibe and has that narrative element that I like and could just picture it being a movie.
yeah I was hoping for gothic romance, or dark academia vibes just based off of the name of the album so I think thats why I was a little ehhhh. I would have loved her indie style applied to those aesthetics and subject matters, especially because evermore and folklore had more interconnected storytelling aspects and you can do so much with that applied those aesthetics. Focusing on something like dead poets society or a secret history would have also been something new for her and if it veered more into gothic romance I think something crimson peak/horror like would have been interesting.
OOooh okay interesting and tbh I've heard that complaint too so I get it. I skip various ones really just depending on my mood, if I don't want something slow I definitely don't listen to "cowboy like me" but that song just hits when I'm in the mood, phew. That's all fair critique tbh and interesting. I'm realizing I don't listen to evermore all that often but most recently I've mostly been listening to "dorothea," "tis the damn season," "cowboy like me," and "coney island." omg "no body no crime" is seriously great and I've definitely had it on repeat before, it definitely has that narrative element and such an idk attitude that I love. It's very fun and clever. I also adore "right where you left me," can't remember if I mentioned it before, but that's an all-timer for me. I had it on repeat a LOT in the past it's... I love it.
Mmmm oh yes absolutely! I honestly didn't expect this toooo much because I knew it was gonna be like, well, a breakup album, but also you can have hope because I know she freaking loves Crimson Peak and Guillermo Del Toro's movies generally. So I could see her leaning into that at some point, but I also feel like there's a chance that reputation is as "intense" (or however you wanna put it lmao) she's gonna get in that sense. But you never know? But I do definitely hope she continues that type of writing style from folklore and evermore. I really wonder whether Justin Vernon (of Bon Iver) or Aarson Dessner (of The National) are involved in the production, because they were both pretty heavily involved in both folklore and evermore. its hard NOT to ship op characters. they all have such fun dynamics!! hannyabul and magellan is like.. im being silly when i say i ship them,, but also they ARE kinda real boyfriends to me.
its such a shame when ppl ignore the silly side of zoro. he has a few extremely wholesome, adorable, fun moments with luffy in wano and.. yeah ... im excited for u to see the interactions they have. add that to the list of things i am excited for!! lol. do the 3 dangly earrings signify he uses 3 swords??? i Never noticed this but if so... thats genius?? either way they r so pretty and in wano they zoom in on his earrings multiple times and show them like . waving in the wind or something idk. its so .. i love it. one more thing im excited about LOL

HELL YEAH.. i honestly am not a huge fan of the wci arc. i really disliked it the first time i read it but i think there r a lot of things that contributed to that. i couldn't remember a lot of the story from before, i started it in the anime and then switched over to manga at some point so it was a bit of a jarring difference, i have complicated feelings about sanji, and i was really sleep deprived when i was reading it. it was super difficult to get through cuz it just felt like everything dragged on and on.. so when i was rereading i was really dreading coming back to that arc and having to slog through it again. but actually it wasn't that bad. its still nowhere near being a favorite for me, but it does have a lot of good moments. anyways i think u will have a much better time than me and im looking forward to seeing ur reactions!! (as usual)

i wont kill u for liking la luffy.... because i havent watched it yet LOL. i might end up agreeing with u (although tbh i doubt i will,, i tend to be more fond of things im familiar with). i like edgelord zoro but its only when he has a healthy amount of silliness to go along with it :( im very very sad to hear he isnt nearly as goofy in the live action. ive seen a few moments of him joking around but.. i miss u silly guy... i miss u....
live action usopp seems like he has more rizz than anime/manga usopp (forgive me for using slang. i have been told it sounds really odd when i do bc it sounds like an old man using it LOL). i think that is a very interesting choice!! cuz i love usopp and i do think hes really charming and a lovely person,, but i feel like him having 0 confidence in himself is so important to his character?? but he seemed like he was an enjoyable character to watch so maybe i shouldnt get too hung up on it.

i do know a lot of the characters on there but havent actually consumed the media theyre part of to feel super attached to them. i have too many things i plan to watch/read/play and i just end up not doing any of it LOL

im pretty sure that any characters that have black eyes oda just makes them brown whenever their eye color is visible. and similarly, the anime just makes anyone with black eyes have grey or white. i dont know if oda has thought abt most of his characters eye color,, or if he actually does just plan for them all to have brown eyes. but headcanoning crazy eye colors is more fun imo!!
the anime notoriously does NOT know what colors things are. my favorite guy law has grey eyes in the anime and theyre gold in the manga.. which is devastating!? cuz gold is way more interesting and fitting and... yeah. i will forever be upset abt that. if they're gonna whiten all the characters to such a crazy level why cant they change the eye colors that are objectively WRONG (following manga canon)

I've seen too much of it.. its boring. my mom has literal baby blues tho theyre so bright and. yeah its.. its striking.. its cool. its interesting. but the rest of us just have regular blue eyes. theyre dark and kind of grey. its too boring!!! and . therefore.. brown eyed sanji.. brown eyed sanji is best .
i am so .. i miss robins early design .. they kept her blue eyes (which again.. are objectively wrong according to manga canon) but they just had to make her like. the palest member of the straw hats. i love her having blue eyes so im not complaining that they didnt fix it but its like ... why did u fix one thing and not the other... i find that very frustrating. i wish they had just kept both her skin color and her eyes LOL. also cowgirl robin was so cool 😢

dressrosa is by far my favorite arc!! and then next i think is wano, egghead (the most recent arc), and impel down
those are my absolute favorites but other ones i like are arlong park, syrup village, punk hazard, sabaody/post war/return to sabaody, marineford (this would be another absolute favorite if not for the fact its so painful), whatever arc zoro joined in, drum island, skypeia, and.. controversially i do like fishman island despite also finding it a bit boring
i also rly enjoyed the reverie (it counts as a separate arc on the wiki) this one is apparently directly after wci.. i can never remember when it takes place chronologically. theres not really any action but i dont even care... i dont read for action
people dont like post timeskip one piece as much for some reason? its confusing to me bc almost all my favorite arcs are post timeskip.. im loving the focus shifting to the whole world.. and i love reading about huge world events. and i love theorizing about things. its all very fun

i like wci but mostly for the sanji arc. i dont care much for the setting (although the alice in wonderland insp is cool!) and i actually love pudding but the fact she’s apparently 16 puts a bad taste in my mouth every time she’s on screen. it doesnt feel like its dragging on yet but as much as i do wanna continue i keep not having the motivation bc i know i still have quite a bit to go through vjbjfdkn. im glad u enjoyed it more ur second time tho!! yea the opla is so fun and a great ride but like anything it has its problems! although im still just amazed that it somehow seemed to break the live action anime curse and be the only one to do so with moderate success and yet it adapted. probably one of the hardest and longest anime to adapt ever. like how. do tell me if u watch it!!

dont even get me started on post timeskip robin. biggest downgrade. like at least franky is still himself and can change his hair and his face is still franky. someone else worded it best in saying oda took away so many features that made robin’s character design recognizable and unique that she feels like a completely different one. APPARENTLY robin was never supposed to be tan and anime assumed that too, but idc if u keep the blue then keep the skin color…its like. blatantly just colorism there

i didnt think fishman island was anywhere near as boring or badly paced as i heard. it was literally fine imo. not my favorite but not bad! except um. fishman island sanji can burn pls stop making me hate my favorite character (THOUGH I STAND BY RETURN TO SABAODY SANJI BEING WORSE THAN FISHMAN ISLAND. AT LEAST HE WASNT SNIFFIN PPL WHAT THE *FUCK* WAS THAT]
and i defintely see the post-timeskip haters points sometimes. there’s less time spent with the characters just. getting to interact and chill- partially bc the anime doesnt really do filler now but also partially bc now the crew is so large that oda never writes them all in one place. theyre always splitting up. and also the obvious things like robin getting sidelines and her design change, zoro is less silly, overall there’s less lightheartedness (although at times i can appreciate that). but the thing that bothers me most is it feels like oda got more brave with the off color jokes and sexualization and such. it was there pre timeskip (esp starting around thriller bark) but post timeskip its just like. sexualization and perv jokes are turned up to 200%. and yea im bitter bc sanji got worse in that aspect (although i actually prefer his post timeskip design! i like his stupid little goatee and his new suits/outfits are very nice! and his character development has obviously. gotten some spotlight) but damn if they couldnt give that to some of the other crew members too! though i digress. and ur right- the arcs and story HAVE improved and been super epic!
hmm..i think my favorite arcs would have to be [as of where i am currently] water 7/enies lobby, impel down, and dressrosa. whole cake will probably be up there when i finish it just bc of it being the My Guy Arc.

secret santa im sorry to break it down to u but they do not 😭 snails do enter hibernation when climate conditions are not ideal and its too dry bc they are ~moisty~ animals but it isnt possible for snails to sleep (hibernate) for three years when thats around their life expectancy 😭😭😭 they sleep a lot tho, snails will sleep for almost a day straight and then not sleep for the next 2 or 3 days, they also spend 1/3 of their life sleeping, like us!
