Hai,
It's not an issue I wasn't sure if Tumblr ate the message or not lol!
I wasn't sure about what all anime style/genre you like,
So I just asked if you have seen Kyoukai no Kanata (beyond the boundary) cause it's one of my favorite "go back to watch" animes!
I also asked if you watched Promare back when everyone was hyped about it in theaters, or if it even came to the UK in theaters? It wasn't in a theater near me so I just waited for it to come out online to watch, I saw a random Promare post the other day and it reminded me that I wanted to ask you!!!
Ooooh!! I actually like all sorts! There isn’t a particular genre or style, although I suppose there are certain ones I can’t get into because of the art style?
I’ve never seen Beyond the Boundary! But I’ll look it up/check it out. If it’s one of your go back tos, it must be good!!
And Promere I watched online on one of those dodgy websites, I love the colours and general vibe of it but I wouldn’t really say it’s one of my faves or anything!💕

Hydrus’ Inktober (but with writing) 2019
so I’ve had this idea for awhile and I decided to execute it! since I’m absolutely horrible at art, I’ve decided to do Inktober with writing! basically, I take the prompts from Inktober and I write short one-shots based off of them. here’s my list for this year:
series focus: Boku no Hero Academia

1. Ring | Mineta Minoru

notes: I completely forgot that Inktober started yesterday and thus had to finish this list last minute. I'll finish the layout later at some point.
I personally find some of these prompts to be a bit harder to writer, but I'm sure I'll pull through!
Be sure to follow the tags #Søren writetober 2019 for updates!
warning(s): many of these one-shots will contain slightly graphic descriptions as well as any of these possible triggers:
• toxic/controlling relationships
• yandere characters
• death
• slight graphic violence
• (possibly) mentions of alcohol/drug use
• mentions/flashbacks to domestic abuse
if you are uncomfortable with any of these, please do not continue further or skip the chapters containing such content. I personally dislike writing graphic scenes and will keep it to a minimum. there will be a warning placed in front of every chapter, as well as a graphic rating (if you read my Haikyū!! yandere book, "Pretty Killer Squad", you know what I mean), so you'll know what triggers may or may not be in said chapter.
Please note that I may not be updating these on the exact day of each prompt! Inktober clashes with midterms this year and I have my part-time job to deal with too.
You can also find all of these on Wattpad @-HYDRUS- under my book Promere and soon on Archive of Our Own (AO3) @Zhufuren!

Word of the Day
impromptu (adjective) im-PROMP-too 1 : made, done, or formed on or as if on the spur of the moment : improvised 2 : composed or uttered without previous preparation : extemporaneous
If you think that impromptu looks like a relative of the adjective prompt, you’re right; both are ultimately derived from the Latin promere, meaning “to bring forth, take out.” Impromptu was borrowed from French, where it meant “extemporaneously,” but French speakers picked it up from the Latin phrase in promptu, a promere descendant meaning “in readiness” or “at hand.” Something that is impromptu is generally “prompted” (that English verb is from Latin promptus, of the same meaning) by an occasion that generates a response in the form of, for example, a party or a speech that has not been planned. There is also another, much rarer descendant of promere in English: the noun promptuary, meaning “a book of ready reference.”
Example: When we got word of Caitlin’s good news, we threw an impromptu party to celebrate.

Another challenge from bro.
Today, its nervracking day of my life again. Well I'm sure that atleast not just me but few more of my fellow promer co-worker. Everyone has their own offense, we dont know how serious. All I wish is too be heard and to have our chance.
In my part, I probably took it easy and look forward to the job itself while I oversees the internal aspect of it, that are as important as representing the job itself. This just prove if this was my chance of a lifetime.
God be with me.

Rise of the Word Girl - #6
Welcome back. Fortunately for me it's just a wee bit warmer than it was the last time. Don't tell the cat that, though. She still thinks curling up next to me is the best thing since a bag of catnip. I should probably feel honored.
Last time I was talking about mindset, specifically from the point of how it helps or hinders in the process of creativity for me.  I had something else in mind for this time, though it's now slipped through the proverbial cracks in my head thanks to a book I just listened to recently.
That book is called You, Unstuck by Seth Adam Smith. It was a short audiobook, about an hour and fifteen minutes, but it was jam packed with motivation and inspiration. The man certainly knows how to engage his audience. If you happen to have Hoopla installed on any devices, I highly recommend checking this gem out and giving it a listen.
Again, the biggest message of the book was mindset. Specifically the mindset that we're victims of our own circumstances and can't change. Mr. Smith provides several examples proving how much bullshit that is and, how when we change our mindset away from the victim mindset, we can find a way to achieve anything we set out to do.
What's all this have to do with writing though? Easy. Not word one will get written - much less edited, revised, published - if I'm sitting there thinking "why bother? What do I have to say that anyone wants to read? Aaah, my writing's crap." Etc. etc. You get the picture. How many of you have felt the same way, thought very similar things?
*waits for the hands to raise*
Exactly. And it's a self-defeating mindset. A victim mindset. One that makes us believe our worth as writers is only in who reads our words, or if those words are perfect and polished.
Granted, there's some spit and polish involved before publishing anything. An unpolished book thrown out on the Kindle store will net 1-star reviews fast as a blink. But those words don't have to start out being shiny and perfect.
In fact, I can attest to the truth that anytime you try to force that type of writing on the first draft you're going to get exactly NO WHERE with your writing. Creativity and editing do not belong in the same space together during the initial process.
Let me repeat that (mostly to sink it into my hard skull). Creativity and editing don't get along during the initial process of writing. They never have. They never will. You may as well take two wet cats and throw them in a small room together. Claws come out, there's a lot of hissing and posturing. Probably some blood drawn if you leave them together too long.
Not to mention, have you smelled a wet cat?
I digress.
And ... I remembered what I was going to talk about. Amazing how getting one thought out of the way leads to a completely different thought.
Prompts.
I went to a workshop this past Saturday - Writing with Prompts. One of the first things the presenter did was explain the meaning of the word prompt. Prompt comes from the latin pro - forth and emere - take. These words became promere - to produce, which became promptus - brought to light.
So a prompt is something that helps us take forth, in this case an idea or thought, and bring it to light.
What are prompts good for?
Well, prompts are a springboard to writing. They provide a sense of immediacy - here's an idea, what can I do with it? They can be used by any level of writer, in any style of writing, and can be personalized in a myriad of different ways.
They are not a shortcut to writing, as some might think, rather they're a push to get us thinking in ways we wouldn't have otherwise.
They're also incredibly easy to come up with on our own.  And while, sure there's dozens of websites out there dedicated to prompts, and about ten times that many books on the topic (glances at her Kindle) it can be a good creative exercise in itself to come up with a few prompts of your own.
No? Well, let me give you a few examples.
A woman, sitting in a fancy restaurant, witnesses a strange transaction between two businessmen. What does she see and does she get caught watching?
A cat gets out of the house and lost in the backyard. What sort of adventures does s/he go on?
A man has to go home and tell his wife he's lost his job, but on the way there he sees a billboard announcing an amateur fight. The prize would surely soften the blow of his new unemployment, but he's not boxed in over a decade. What does he do?
An alien species comes to earth looking to steal all the salt.
There, that took me all of a minute or so. Prompts don't have to be great. They don't even have to be particularly good. The point of the exercise is to get the mind thinking about writing, to signal to it that "Hey! It's time for us to be creative."
I would challenge you to try it for a week. Each day, spend 5 minutes coming up with as many random prompts as you can. Don't censor yourself. Don't think about them. Just write. And who knows? Maybe you'll find your next idea in those words.
At the very least, you'll get your brain moving in the right direction.
Until next time
Love, Bella
