It is not an RSVP in the traditional sense, in which you normally reserve a table or something similar. Everyone is welcome to visit the town of Deadwood, RSVP or not. It is mostly used as a metric to gauge the amount of people going to the event so they can properly plan for it, and they are not caught by surprise.

IIRC the organizers were expecting 3000 visitors or so for Tombstone (I don't recall the exact amount), but instead close to 10K visitors attended the event, which is of course a great thing, but that added unnecessary stress on the organizers because they were not expecting that many people to show up.

Even if you attend as a group, they would like everyone in that group to RSVP.

Just finished the base game for HZD and now I’m debating against starting up the Frozen Wilds DLC, doing a new game + on a harder difficulty to get an achievement on an achievement mop up playthrough, or swapping out games to avoid completion fatigue.
