Romulans...YES!

Urasa:

Urasa was abandoned by his father as part of some double-cross/life lesson about being weak. He met a Klingon boy named Adokthosh and saw that he was weak and cowardly compared to the others around him. Urasa ran away from the care of his Romulan bretheren and the two of them began working together to get to the top of the Klingon empire through lying, cheating, bribing, and stealing. I'm sure that'll all go well for them! I'm also sure there won't be any complicated romantic feelings. Bartovka:

She & Asil (Tuvok's daughter) have a longrunning evil-doer vs gallant hero thing going on. Thankfully Bartovka is usually easily foiled because she loves expositing about her devious plans and also is so full of herself that she makes it kinda easy to defeat her.

She figured out she was trans because of Asil. The two of them get in a lot of …. situations. Together.

She has two kids and a wife that she's trying to avoid at all costs because she's pretty sure they'll try to kill her if they find her. Or worse, she'll have to pay child support.

Completely normal Human crewmate except one day everyone randomly finds out they were raised by adoptive parents, one of which is Vulcan and the other is Romulan

There’s way more backstory and stuff about this oc and their parents but I just really like the idea of no one having any idea because they act so Human, and they just think that crewmate is trying to be friendly when they offer their Vulcan and Romulan crewmates stuff relating to their cultures (I mean they are, but they didn’t go out of their way to get those things, like the incense to help their Vulcan crewmate meditate? that was already in their cabin)

I'm nervous to post these.. I've never made ocs before but star trek has imbedded itself so deep into my mind that I started to come up with stories

i dont have names for them yet im horrible with names and idk know how to go about that for my Romulan dude

i started thinking about them and when i got around the 4th season of ds9, so theres a lot of random story plots, and ideas written in a notebook and in my head but the basic story so far is

that this dude is a human from 2024 who lived in the sanctuaries, and due to some weird space shit and unfortunate events with a ship and its crew he ends up in the future. ( hes actually stays on a space station with its crew )

he meets the Romulan dude on a trip that was supposed to be going back to earth, but they got a distress signal from a nearby planet and when they went to check it out they found a crashed Romulan ship and a injured Romulan

i have more in-depth story but im not a writer so im nervous to talk about it lol, i have some more characters in mind but these two are the only ones who i know how they look like.
