House Speaker "MAGA Mike" Johnson is making a pilgrimage to Mar-a-Lago to ceremonially kiss Donald Trump's butt. This is another example of how the Republican Party is now nothing more than a cult which worships the Orange One.
Johnson is hoping that his record on election denial will impress Trump and will encourage the latter to support Johnson against Marjorie Taylor Greene's challenge to his leadership.
Of course Trump demands total loyalty from everybody but gives it to nobody. Ask Kevin McCarthy if you don't believe me.

Raw Story
June 25, 2022
On CNN Saturday afternoon, conservative commentator S.E. Cupp insisted the Supreme Court ruling dismantling Roe v Wade after 50 years of allowing women to make choices about their reproductive freedom no matter where they live, will come back the haunt the Republican Party in the 2022 midterms.
As Cupp explained, combined with the battle over gun laws, the unpopular 6-3 decision by the conservative court could be a defining issue that increases voter turnout that will, in turn, cripple GOP efforts to reclaim both chambers of Congress.
Speaking with CNN hosts Christ Paul and Boris Sanchez, Cupp insisted the past week's news has benefitted Democrats as they make their case for November 2022 and beyond.
RELATED: 'This is a losing issue': GOP campaign consultants panicked about upcoming midterms after Roe decision
"Yeah, I think the Roe ruling was a huge -- they [Republicans] might like the outcome, but politically I can't imagine a better turnout engine than this ruling for democrats," Cupp claimed. "And you can make the argument that the Republicans' legislative victories and the Supreme Court victory by a conservative court are regressive, they're taking us backwards. Whether you like them or not, you can't deny the fact that they're going backwards, right? They're taking us back to a different time when these weren't rights."
"Republicans are banning books," she continued. "I mean, it really does feel anachronistic where the country is, so I think that's a good message for Democrats."
"You know, look, the economy is still going to be a huge driver for the election but I absolutely think the Democrats got a big boost from both of these rulings, I feel like, and they needed it, politically," she added.

New York Daily News: S.E. Cupp: 'State of The Union a Window Into Obama's Mind'
Source:New York Daily News What I don’t think that S.E. Cupp gets that is of course President Obama was taking a victory lap last night. Which is his right, because the economy is finally moving and moving well. No longer are we talking about one-percent economic growth and creating somewhere around a hundred-thousand jobs per month, with unemployment still well over seven-percent. We are seeing…

I'm not linking to it. It's stupid, don't watch it.
She is grumpy because Musk and Zuck, "two of our nation's leading technology innovators and billionaires, both" are doing a wrestling instead of fighting climate change, so the movie Idiocracy is real.
Whew. Okay.
1) Martial arts matches aren't inherently stupid things for stupid people, you bitch. Would we have this whining if they were doing an opera-off? Of course not. So fuck her on that.
2) If you start any piece concerning SNL's Wario and the King of the Metaverse by unironically calling them leading cultural lights who ought not behave this way, you know absolutely nothing about either one of them OR our "culture." Both of these turds are unethical and sociopathic and only got where they are by luck and exploiting the work of actual engineers and programmers, who they underpaid. Elon Musk was ALREADY RICH FROM AN INHERITANCE. These guys were the absolute exemplars of everything that is embarrassing and wrong with our "culture" BEFORE they decided to hit each-other, because the real knock against us is that we ever allowed men like this to climb to the top of anything. And then be praised for it by a bluecheck dipshit.
Elon Musk magnifies medical misinformation and racist conspiracy theories on a platform he bought to do specifically that! What innovation! And such class as well!
Fucking unbelievable.
3) Lady, I don't know what movie you saw, but it doesn't sound like the Idiocracy I remember. Maybe it was intended as a warning about what happens if we all like wresting too much, but what it actually was was a satire using a wacky potential future to highlight the stupidity of our own behavior in the present. And it ended with the supremely dumb people realizing that they could be and should be a little smarter, to make the world a better place.
They fixed the damn crops. Elon Musk spent $43 billion on something he then ruined and broke, and Mark Zuckerberg bet everything on a shitty video game no one wants, based on a platform only confused old people still use to complain about politics to no one. The Idiocracy universe is less idiotic and doing better than we are.
Musk and Zuck wanting to do cage fighting for attention is embarrassingly stupid. No one who isn't a dickhead is defending it. But it is just another blip of idiocy from two supreme idiots. It has nothing whatsoever to do with a movie from 2006 that you clearly didn't understand.
Don't drag President Comacho. The Idiocracy was inside YOU the entire time, S.E. Cupp!

Any thoughts on media trying to place blame on Tucker Carlson for the mass shooting? Another Conservative hit piece or do you think they have a point?
Haven't seen anything about that, but from what I've seen the dude was hard left wing so listening to Carlson wouldn't be something I'd think he'd do.
Being a white supremacist isn't exclusive to conservatives, it's just generally ignored or glossed over when it's leftists doing it which would be why I think we're seeing a lot of dancing around his political affiliation and focusing on the different hateful things he's been involved in or preached.
With their usual swiftness, leftists on Twitter quickly launched a seemingly coordinated effort to blame Fox News and Tucker Carlson for allegedly radicalizing the suspect.
As word of the shooting quickly spread on social media, so did reports that the shooter had posted a 180-page manifesto online, explaining his racist and anti-Semitic motives and detailing how he planned to carry out the attack. PJ Media obtained a copy of the manifesto, and while we cannot independently verify its authenticity, it is widely believed to be genuine, and some left-wing operatives are intent on claiming that the manifesto proves the shooter was radicalized by Fox News and right-wing politics. I’ll show you want the manifesto actually says (though I will not link to it).
First, despite the coordinated effort to blame Fox News, the manifesto attacks a number of news networks, including Fox, for hiring Jews.
Tumblr media
A search of the entire manifesto also yields no mentions of Tucker Carlson and specifically mentions “the internet” as where he got his beliefs.
Others have tried to link the shooter in a more general way to right-wing politics. For example, the so-called conservative S.E. Cupp of CNN tried to blame “right-wing extremism” for the shooting.
But here’s what the manifesto says about the shooter’s politics:
Did you always hold these views? When I was 12 I was deep into communist ideology, talk to anyone from my old highschool and ask about me and you will hear that. From age 15 to 18 however, I consistently moved farther to the right. On the political compass I fall in the mild-moderate authoritarian left category, and I would prefer to be called a populist.
Later in the manifest, the shooter insists, “I would prefer to call myself a populist. But you can call me an ethno-nationalist eco-fascist national socialist if you want, I wouldn’t disagree with you.” He also repeatedly attacks capitalists, and rejected the conservative label because, he wrote, “conservativism is corporatism in disguise, I want no part of it.”
But let’s not pretend that, assuming the manifesto is legitimate, the rhetoric espoused in its pages means the shooter cannot be legitimately aligned with either major political party or political movement. While I would argue that the views expressed in the manifesto echo rhetoric of radical leftism, the manifesto is full of nonsense and garbage that is at times inconsistent. The people who were quick to exploit the situation to attack Fox News and conservatives were wrong and should be ashamed of themselves. ____________________
That's their analysis, guy doesn't fit into any actual mold.
I'm not a fan of Tucker and I pretty much just ignore him in general, but this guy you're not going to be able to at least exclusively blame Carlson for he's gathered his insanity from the extreme 4 corners of the political spectrum and mushed them into something that likely only makes any sense to him.

God's Whistleblower
The eyes of the LORD are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good. Proverbs 15:3 (ESV)
This is what the LORD says: “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the LORD." Jeremiah 17:5 (NIV)
What are worthless and wicked people like? They are constant liars. Proverbs 6:12 (NLT)
A wicked person listens to deceitful lips; a liar pays attention to a destructive tongue. Proverbs 17:4 (NIV)
With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness. James 3:9 (NIV)
So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? Luke 16:11 (NIV)
“And now, you priests, this warning is for you. If you do not listen, and if you do not resolve to honor my name,” says the LORD Almighty, “I will send a curse on you, and I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have already cursed them, because you have not resolved to honor me." Malachi 2:1-2 (NIV)

And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne. And there were open books, and one of them was the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their deeds, as recorded in the books. Apocalypse 20:12 (BSB)

CNN’s S.E. Cupp pointed out what the former president didn’t publish that’s probably more important.

Hello.
Allow me to introduce myself.
I go by the name KIKI Fulton.
I self-publish novels.
I hate querying, but desire publishing in a traditional sense…meaning, I have to get back to it. 😩
I enjoy the freedom of self-publishing, but I hate all the responsibility and working on my own—esp. since at the moment I ain’t making much money from my labor—like pretty much zero sales on a monthly basis. 🥲
I’m struggling to write the follow-ups to my two YA series (Souls, Ghostly), and think I need to palette cleanse by working on a stand-alone that contains no paranormal elements. I’ll never not write romance.
I used to write political commentaries under my gov name, like obsessively, but later I’ve been uninspired. (Sidebar: for those that want to go into that lane, reach out to S.E. Cupp and Donna Brazille)…I might get back to politics soon, while still doing my creative writing.
I’ll turning 42 in August. Family is getting older, some are dealing with illness, others have passed away. Time is slipping away, and I have no legacy to leave—but I want to change this, and baldy. (This has nothing to do with a being children or getting married). I want to make a mark (a good one).
Here I go.
