 1.) What did you want to do with your life when you were younger? What would the child version of yourself think about the path you paved for yourself?

My younger self wanted to be a ballerina or a singer. Even at a young age, I knew that I wanted to be a star. That looks a lot different and depends on the person. I’d like to think that my younger self is very proud of me. Why wouldn’t I be?

2.) What is your proudest accomplishment? Don’t be afraid to  talk about what it took to achieve it and how you feel about it as well.

My proudest accomplishment is moving to New York when I did. I have Brittany to thank for that, she had to push me. Kentucky just wasn’t for me. The next best accomplishment would be marrying Britt of course. I’m living the dream. Let’s be real out of anyone, she and I deserve it the most.

3.) If you could do anything you wanted for one whole day, what would it be and why?

If I could be around tasteless people for a full 24 hours, that would be the ultimate dream. But in all seriousness… Probably lay down a few good tracks and then spend the rest of the day with Britt. We’d probably go out and then spend the rest of the day in.

 Where are they Now:

Santana married Brittany and the two are currently residing in New York, New York. (Can talk specifics with the Brittany player of course!) She is 27 and is working at a recording studio as a receptionist. However, Santana recently got a record deal with an independent label at the studio she works at. After marrying Brittany, she decided upon studying Music Business at NYU. Even though, Santana always had dreams of performing, she knew that she needed something to settle on in case it didn’t work. For a few years, she managed several artists in NYC. She was able to help them accomplish their dreams, so it left her feeling a bit empty. Within the last year, Santana worked diligently to make her own dreams come true and took a lower paying job at the recording studio so she could get her foot in the door. When one of the producers heard her sing, they offered her a record deal one week later. Since then, Santana hasn’t looked back. She has been recording her music an working on planning a tour.

Life with Brittany has been a dream come true. She is happily married to her soulmate. Santana’s snark has calmed down slightly, but she is still the same HBIC we all know and love. Given the opportunity, she will put someone in their place as needed. Santana knows that Brittany wants children, but she is delaying the full conversation on that because she wants to be a bit more established in her career before bringing children into the world. (Possible source of contention to play around with perhaps?)

Santana used to be the cheerleading stereotype. Quick to pass judgment, and insult and even bully other people. She views her bitchy behavior as honesty. Santana seemed to find no issue flaunting her spot on the social ladder that was High School l or to be promiscuous to remain on top. Santana also used to demonstrate occasional signs of kindness, usually with the Glee Club after a good performance or with Brittany. Deep down Santana is less conceited than she appears to be. She admitted that she loved being in Glee Club and that it is the best part of her day, Glee Club was her real family. But whenever someone asked if she loved it, she would say she hates it, showing that she cared a lot about her image.

Santana has grown to be a better person through Glee, she actively admitted to hating the people in the club before joining, but then started to see them as her equals, closest friends, and even considers them her family (whom she was and still is highly protective of). Now she is more caring and compassionate toward others, still, she can be seen as a mean girl because of her mean streak.

Santana described herself as a “closeted lesbian” when she was still in high school. She was seen to be something of a nymphet in her first years of high school. She dated and slept with many guys although she did not have any deep feelings for them. Most of the time she was involved with them only in exchange for popularity/status, but she also had sex with Brittany on what was implied to have been multiple occasions. She was either afraid or embarrassed by her same-sex attractions, and even told Brittany that she wasn’t making out with her because she was in love with her.

Santana acts confident, but she is actually insecure, she even got a breast augmentation over the summer so people would notice her more. She gets incredibly hostile when her weaknesses are exposed. While she has no problem insulting and putting down others, she can “dish it out, but can’t take it,” and gets upset when her friends turn on her, showing she cares a lot about what people think of her.
