Recollections of a smashfest from my college days. It was the first one I ever went too and it was great and it was the worst night ever and we would never go all the way out to that person’s apartment again.

I was driving my stepmom's mother home from the airport when I spotted a CRT.

There was no space in the car and I gotta work at 5 AM tomorrow, so I'm gonna leave the house at like 4 AM and pray that it's still there in the morning.

I just hope it's only a 28" and not a 32".

#I have enough console setups and CRT's to run a 20-person local. #I'm also preparing to buy a house so maybe I can make it a twice-a-week smashfest #I need like 7 GameCube to GBA cables to guarantee I have enough to run two doubles matches in Colosseum/XD #and maybe 1 or 2 more N64's for Stadium 1 and 2 #however. I will be waiting until Covid is no longer a risk to start running it

Due diligence:

With that out of the way, all links in the April Fools' route are from Flash games that are 1. completely ineligible by way of being unofficial and not commercial and 2. are of some note to me, the person running this blog, which is to say that I've personally either seen or played all of the above Flash games except one. There's absolutely room to expand or adapt this (despite fully intending to, I ended up not using either Super Mario Bros. Crossover or Super Smash Flash 2), but hey, 10 is a nice number.

A little Dehya love, because she gets way too much hate. I have her on a throw-away fish/farm world (EU server) and have decided to play her and her motley crew for a bit. The goal is to unlock Inazuma and the teapot so my real EU gang can steal from there too. Dehya’s core team is level 48 now and working through the Liyue archon quest chain. Newbie build is newbie, but I have her stats on heavy EM emphasis using the Windblume event sword and I’m really liking her reaction damage output for big ol’ burgeon smashfests. She also wrecked Oceanid for Barbruh, which is nice.

Here’s hoping my main account on America server can lose the 50/50 to her sooner than later, as I have the perfect chars there for a super-scary burgeon team.
