The Promised Neverland singing contest

Gotta admit I took inspiration from this video, but like... with The Promised Neverland

In a "no-tragedy universe", all the characters from TPN are hosting a friendly singing-competition

The winner won't win anything special besides, well... being the announced winner

Isabella is hosting the competition and our favorite trio will be the judges (all of them will participates in this, but they won't be classified for obvious reasons)

...

Everyone is waiting outside the building where the competion is hosted.

Suddenly Isabella comes out and announce "Everybody, come in! The competition is about to start! And don't argue. It won't be over until every person who wants participating is over"

...

Gilda, at first a bit shy but then she relaxes: "Got me looking so crazy right now! Your love's got me looking so crazy right now!"

The trio: *smiles at her*

Queen levagralima, chaotically dancing throught the rhytm: "Rah Rah ah ah aaaah! Roma Romamaaaa! Gaga, oh lallaaaa! WANT YOUR BAD ROMANCE!"

Everyone: *feeling a little incomfortable and imbarassed at the scenes for some reason*

Ray: *facepalming, annoyed and embarassed*

Norman: *astonished and embarassed*

Norman: *More than happy, but holding his chest for the vibrations incoming*

Some of the relationship sections in the TPN wiki are crazy to me like "Don views Ray as a brotherly figure" ummmm no he doesn't what are you blabbering about??? he literally has a crush on him lol (proof: I said so and I'm right) they say the same thing with Norman and Ray like ok yeah he's totally not in love with Ray haha (ok I'll stop being crazy)

"Gilda views Emma as one of her closest friends and a sisterly figure" GILDA IS FRUITY AS FUCK. Don't get me started on that one entry that says that Anna is Nat's sister figure SHE'S LITERALLY HEAD OVER HEELS FOR ANNA??? CANONICALLY??? It's proper crazy man

thank god they didn't call Emma and Ray siblings or I would've actually blown up (I just don't feel like they have a sibling dynamic at all ok best friends can exist)

man i really really love exploring ray's relationship with singing. it's obviously something very personal to him because we only ever see him do it as a sort of coping mechanism in extremely stressful situations, and i love thinking about him eventually feeling comfortable enough to share such a vulnerable part of him with his family y'know?

idk if he would continue to sing isabella's lullaby specifically with how much. emotional baggage the song carries, and i definitely think he might want to distance himself from it as he processes the abuse he experienced, and i also love the idea of ray making new songs to share with his family as he grows and heals. yeah i think about ray singing a lot
