IT'S BARRICADE DAY
this is my first tumblr post and i'm so glad it's to celebrate barricade day, so for the occasion i'd like to post my "The Barricade at Tesco" images.
Have a happy barricade day from Britain! (the land of mushy peas and room temperature water)

Enjoltaire at the barricade to these lyrics:
Enjolras is the chief, the leader, of course everybody wants him, his motivation, his instructions, his fervour; they all look at him, follow him, continue to kindle the flame he lights. And grantaire, grantaire knows he is not worthy, he doesn't belong there, the cynic amongst believers, yet they are his friends so with them he will stay. But enjolras isn't his friend, is he, grantaire doesn't deserve to stand and fall by his side. Grantaire stays with his friends, and of course he will die when and where they die, there is no other choice for him. He doesn't belong next to enjolras, he's usurping the place of the right hand and the center, but the moment has come, so he walks up to enjolras

Quote
For these, to advance was to die, and no one thought of retreating. For those, to stay was to die, and no one thought of fleeing.
Victor Hugo, Les Misérables (transl. C. Donougher)

Ok, I know we all love Enjoltaire, and I just noticed that whenever a confession is made, there is a pattern. Usually, when it’s Enjolras, he will use his words and make a sort of speech, something he is very used to. For contrast, Grantaire, if he confesses, usually uses actions, i.e. pulling Enj into a kiss, and he normally doesn’t think things through as much.
Just think that’s adorable and very in character

See if I were a smarter person I'd draw comparisons to C! Sam and Javert, or I'd talk about how L'manburg was more of The Barricade than it was the American Revolution, or talk about C! Quackity and Eponine - Patton

Love the way Enjolras and Combeferre look at Javert here after Jehan’s death like: YOUR SO DEAD NOW
