GUYS THE CANDY CADET STORY???///
Tumblr media
It’s gotta be about Vanessa right? Like she’s the only adult female character in the games. She escaped from Glitchtrap just barely through Princess Quest 1-3 but was left with a scar (Vanny? her trauma?). After escaping with Gregory, she builds up the courage to come back to the Pizzeria with Gregory (the young boy guiding her) to take down Glitchtrap forever. They go to the “small house” aka the FNAF 6 Pizzeria and kill the witch aka Glitchtrap. And the oven metaphor referencing how Springtrap/Scraptrap was burned with fire?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
though it does say “when she was little” so maybe there’s more to Vanessa’s past than we know? Was the past she told to the therapists in SB true?

Emotional support
Tagged by my lovely foreva honorary friend @wrestlezaynia for a WIP friday.
A/N: for @xxtremee (is not a big long story but I did something)
Tumblr media
She knew that pose, he used it even acting as the Tribal Chief, in front of cameras. Even outside, however, it didn't mean anything good and the chaos erupted from his family was enough to make her know what had happened. She had observed him while she helped tidy up, she had seen him scratch his dark beard, listen angry comments and complaints, nod a couple of times. He was sad, even though he was a big boy and he was keeping it in silence, she was not a football fan, but for him years before it had almost been his dream career and it was enough to make her a sad about that defeat too.
Finishing putting away the potato salad in another lunch box ready for who knows which member of his huge family, she saw him leave them after a while to join her
- They fought in the final, its a win anyway – she didn't know how the football business worked, but she was a visibility and marketing conoisseur, it couldn't have hurt the niners to be in the Super Bowl for sure.
- Next year maybe we'll make it – Roman agreed with a slightly too heavy breath and she felt like hugging him, showering him with kisses, anything just to take away that face from him.
Maybe was not a good idea in front of everyone, not with the racket in the living room and his cousins and uncles threatening to tear the house down, but maybe she could lighten the mood.
-You know, if you need emotional comfort, I can help in many ways... - she proposed, casting an elusive glance much lower and Roman put down the glass he had taken to look at her - I was trying to be helpful, doing my part. I thought it might help to lighten things up a bit, my bad – she cut it short, falling silent when his sister, Vanessa, stormed in the kitchen, passing them both without a glance.
Roman kept the fridge open for her, giving her time to get some juice for who knows which one of the many kids who were running around and Y/N smiled at her too, when she left in a hurry, taking advantage of things to put down the potato salad that was still in her hand.
- It can help – she heard Roman admit, shifting his attention from his sister to her with ease and Y/N widened her eyes, surprise quickly turning into a giggle at seeing him show a more contrite face than when he joined her.
- I'll do everything I can to make you feel better, I promise – she said, patting his chest playfully while he leaned down to hold her again, laughing softly.
It may not have gone as they had planned, either for the niners or for him, but she was pretty sure that one way or another they would all find something to overcome the emotional trauma.

NEW TO THE BLOG? READ ME!
Enchantée, my loves! Welcome to the blog! <3
Just to let you know that this is a story based blog, with an alternative style of story telling. The plot is revealed mostly through the lens of different types of technology. From Sinstagram posts to security camera footage, this Hellaverse AU centres around my OC Vesper:
Tumblr media
Vesper is a popular popstar and sinner operating within the Pride Ring. She is soul contracted to Vox, and was designed around the idea of a 'hypeman' for the Vees. Her outfit is loosely based around a cheerleader, and her abilities are based off a Siren.
The story is told through a bunch of different mediums - mostly images, but I do have some audio files on here along with some music! I did not expect to be writing music for this, but here we are! So if you'd like to stick around, I'd scroll right to the bottom of the blog and explore the story!  SPOILERS BELOW - If you haven't looked through the posts thus far and don't want to be spoiled, come back after!
THE PLOT THUS FAR:
(I didn't just wanna write the plot point blank, so I wrote it like POV: Your at a movie night and your best friend is telling you the plot to the prequel movie so you have *context*)
We're diving into the wild world of Vanessa LaBlanc, this mega-popstar who goes by the stage name Vesper in the Pride Ring. But here's the kicker: her climb to stardom? It's only been about seven years! Insane, right?
So, her smash hit 'The Devil You Know' rockets to the top of 'Hell's Hottest Hits'. It's like her big breakout moment, and suddenly, everyone's got their eyes on her.
But here's where it gets interesting: turns out, she's been hanging out at the Hazbin Hotel, but not just for kicks. Nope, she's on this super-secret spy mission, keeping tabs on things. And her deal with Vox? Let's just say their whole working relationship is one big question mark.
Then there's this whole issue about her being under some soul contract with Vox, so it's not all rainbows and sunshine. But Charlie, being the sweetheart she is, rallies everyone to support Vesper at this major award ceremony, and guess what? She totally wins and takes home the prize!
But after that, Vesper goes MIA, ghosting everyone's texts and calls. Finally, when she resurfaces, it's because she's been tied up shooting some ad campaign. Turns out, her and Vox had this major fallout over the ad's ethics.
And get this: the product of the ad? Love Potions! Vesper's kinda backed into a corner she doesn't think its right - but Vox makes her do it anyway! You can see the strain it puts on her and Vox's relationship. It's messy, to say the least.
Then there's this whole backstory between Vesper and Angel Dust, like they used to hate each other and Valentino admits to being the reason behind it. But now that she's staying at the Hotel, they seem to have made up! Val's flipping out, convinced Vesper's up to something, but Vox is tells Val to calm down, because 'it's not like before' that she's 'under contract now'.
Things really hit the fan when Vesper and Vox have this big blow up over some news article about her going public with staying at the Hazbin Hotel. But in the middle of all the drama, you can see there's this genuine care between them, buried beneath all the chaos.
And then there's the bombshell about Vesper's new album, 'Absolution', which Vox drops on her out of nowhere. She's not thrilled, especially when she finds out the album cover's shot in Val's flooded studio, and she has a deep-rooted fear of water.
Things get tense between Vesper and Angel, too. He's worried sick about her, but she's not having any of it. And then after the album shoot, her relationship with Vox starts unravelling big time.
And that's pretty much it thus far!

Five Nights at Freddy's | A Cinematography study
I'm Loofy, I currently have hopes to go into a Cinematography Major which I figured I could share those dreams and aspects into a small blog post about the move Five Nights at Freddy's (2023).
Word count for those interested: 3178

Study under the cut
-Introduction to the Film
The purpose of this study was driven by the fact that I've been a fan of the Five Nights at Freddy's series since 2014, I was introduced by my older sister who is still into the series and books after all these years. We've watched every gameplay, read every book and theorized everything together till she moved in 2022.
On top of that I really wanted the first ever study I posted online to be something that everyone is interested in; including myself. I wanted fans (much like myself) to find some sort of connection to this whole study with different opinions, cinema views/uses of studies that people used when filming the piece and a simple background on a movie that went on to break several records on it's release date. Let's get started, shall we?
Emma Tammi was the director of the Five Nights at Freddy's film. She has done six movies with herself directing (that's including this film in her roaster.) This is not the only horror movie she's done. She's gone onto win multiple rewards and I'm going to have to at least give her some credit for wanting to really highlight a lot of the motifs (I will point these out in a later point.) and the important steps of the FNAF lore as a whole.
She mainly was driven aside with Scott Cawthon; the creator of the game's. Wanting this film to be driven more to the actual FNAF culture and the people that had grown into the fan they are today by following a messy lore story and the start of a game that was a last ditch effort.
Five Night's at Freddy's is an American Supernatural Horror film. It's conventions are to allow the watcher to be frightened and on the edge of their seat. It's to focus on telling a story while also being scary and a tragedy.
-Visual Study (Spoiler warning, Images are used)
The lighting that is used in more of a natural lighting, they use the sun and mood lighting to add more effect to the actor that is in the shot, this causes the movie to use a lot of backlighting, natural lighting, mood lighting and soft film lighting. Soft film lighting is mostly used throughout the whole film since it wants to allow the camera lense to almost wrap around the shadows that are being made by said lighting.
Most of those effects are prominent in the scenes where Abby is laying on the floor watching TV while Mike is sitting by the kitchen table questioning if he should contact the number on the card he was given to be able to keep Abby.
The color pallet that is used in the mood lighting is reds, yellows, blues and purples. They will use it either as backlight mood lighting or definition lighting for a character's shadow or face.
Here are some examples:

(Soft Film Light Examples)
The main cinematography techniques used are: Long shots, Medium long shots, over the shoulder, Dutch angle shot and bird's eye shot. These are camera techniques that we use in most films today and in the past to tell a story from every point of view and get everything in a single picture. Let me pull some angles and shots from the film.
Long-shots are usually the ones done from afar much like the ones you see from the outside views of the pizzeria or of Abby and Mike to give definition to the surrounding area while still having the subject being on the characters.
Here are some examples:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Medium long shots are shorter versions of a long shot and are more closer to the subject that it's focused on, much like the shots used in the scenes of William and Mike's conversation about the job position and the conversations Mike has with Vanessa.
Here are some examples:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Dutch angle shot isn't one you miss in most Horror movies- It's one that is MAINLY used in horror films to date. The best way to explain it is the way the camera is tilted towards the delivering character. I was only able to really pick this shot up a couple times in my four rewatches of the film which was when Afton showed up in his Springbonnie outfit therefore I don't have any examples I can share at this point and time.
Close-ups, you guessed it! It's close ups of the actors/subjects face. We see plenty of these of Mike and Abby but they're not extremely close up. They're more just distanced close-up's but are close enough to define the emotion, skin texture, glimmer, lighting on and of the actor.
Here are some examples:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bird's eye shot is all in the name, it's a shot that's normally filmed with a flying drone and is up in the air and shot much like a bird is following or sitting up in the sky. This is used when Mike exit's the conversation with William and when he is driving towards the pizzeria.
Here are some examples:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Point of View shots are one's that use the actor's "eyes" as the shot, it can be seen from the very first scene with Foxy to William getting his cup of black coffee while speaking with Mike.
Here are some examples:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Framing is always a key when shooting a shot for cinematography, learning where to have your characters stand and how the composition of each shot laid out before filming. There's shots that go from one to six in only three seconds of footage. The film uses a lot of an editing technique called quick/fast-cutting which is where there is an angle that is touched on for a brief 3-5 seconds before switching to a different angle of the same conversation.
Much like how Matpat explained in his behind the scenes video where they spent several hours just filming one scene, it was because of this quick-cutting and having to piece together every shot to make it look like a fluid and forward conversation which allows for clean shots, visual storytelling and eye-catching camera movements.
Visual storytelling is used to tell more to the story than what is physically being explained, there is so much in this film that I'm willing to break down the most common ones.
William Afton's purple bow ties are a dead giveaway and clear visual storytelling towards the fact he ends up being Springbonnie and the murderer of Mike's younger brother when he was twelve.
The plane that Garrett plays with in the first dream and is dragged into a photo with Vanessa and her father which is later spotted by Mike when she reveals that she knew about Garrett's death and explains much more behind her story and why she knew so much about the pizzeria.
The almost halo like scene where Vanessa is standing during the confession scene with Mike. The light behind her makes her seem like she's an angel that is there to help Mike through his problems and also directs towards her downfall which is her getting hospitalized.
Abby and the drawings on the wall in one of the composition medium long shots, it's shown during the scene of the first guard which led to his murder. The drawing is immediately brought up as a 'mental issue' by Abby's aunt and Mike says often that if he dropped dead she would've still been drawing before she even noticed and it's brought up again and again throughout the story as it seems to be one of Abby's character traits as she's able to use drawing to connect with the main four later in the film and one of her drawings is used to kill Afton in the end of the film. (He always comes back.)
The impact the visual narrative had was that it was able to present the movie well and allowed the foreshadowing to be delivered PROPERLY even when from a regular viewers eyes it seemed choppy and messy, which is how the film is supposed to be. It's supposed to be for strictly FNAF fans.
The visual motifs that are commonly used in this film would be drawing and the use of a child's mind being able to use drawing, creativity and lighting to explain past trauma. It's one of the few motifs I figured was worth at least mentioning before we moved onto the next part of this study, which brings me to....
-Sound and Music
The soundtrack revolving around this film is very 8-bit sounding in the first half of the movie to be able to tie in to the relation with the 8-bit parts in the game which match with more an atari style of gameplay in the middle of nights, secrets within the game and main plot story telling.
Which is the role of the music in this film, it's driven with the use of violin and piano. It's being used for storytelling and strictly story telling. The main songs I want to point out in this one is the bright and rich piano that is used to enter Mike when he wakes up and jumps out of bed to get started with his date to the drastic change of subtle guitar/bass in his dream sequences.
It's used to express emotion with the storytelling, giving us certain noises and sounds that can trigger something familiar in the brain. The calm before the storm is what I want to call it in this study, it's the joyfulness that Mike has before Garrett is taken to the music going grim and almost threatening when he realizes that he is going and is being taken away from him while keeping that 8-bit sound almost like the music itself is glitching.
The voice acting is very different in this film compared to other horror films that focus on voices much like Scream and the tone changes that are needed to make a character come off a certain way.
Matthew Lillard and Elizabeth lail both have very awkward sounding voices/lines in the entire film, almost like they're supposed to come off suspicious. Steve Raglan has more of an unsteady voice that makes him come off uneasy and intimidating.
Vanessa is played strictly as someone who has more to bring to the table but is hiding it poorly, she speaks about how she knows so much about the past guards, why they quit and when, who and where about the pizzeria which causes Mike to become suspicious of her and drill questions into her when he gets the chance to.
Mike has shaky, not very confident in himself voice lines and his voice is mostly uneasy in all of the movie. He seems almost like he's not there or is distant from the conversation when it is held (and I don't know if this is just Josh Hutcherson acting or what Emma Tammi told Josh to do on set, but he looks so tired throughout the whole film and I wanted to specifically mention this in that study so people don't think I'm taking that the wrong way.)
Abby is the opposite, she is very bubbly and approachable which almost makes it unbelievable that Mike is the one that is raising her during the story of the film because of how drastically different they are.
Along with the voice acting there is ambient sounds that the film uses that I would like to touch on as well:
Foxy's iconic hum and the jumpscare noise from the first game is an ambient noise mainly used to connect the viewer (which hopefully is a fan) to the film that is displayed to them and the people around them in the theater.
The sound of birds being used to have Mike enter his dream sequences so he can be able to remember it fully, in theory the sound of birds will help him feel more connected to the day it happened, but that's just a theory.
Which would make this an aural motif, because it is used as a source/fact why Mike uses bird sounds to help himself sleep and needs that tape to be able to get to that dream sequence.
-Narrative and Themes
The plot of Five Nights at Freddy's consists of Mike Schmidt a man who seems to be struggling to be able to hold a job because of his rising PTSD and anger issues. He is tasked with raising his sister Abby while dealing with the accusation of being unsafe and unfit to be able to raise her and is served with a paper from his Aunt wanting to take full custody of his sister with this new found information he finds himself a job at an abandoned pizzeria where he just settles for six hours out of the night to watch over the place. He soon meets a police officer named Vanessa and she expresses more about the backstory of the pizzeria and why a series of killings led to the closure of the place back in the 80s. When Mike's babysitter for Abby randomly disappears he ends up taking Abby to his job for the night where she makes contact with the dead spirits of the animatronics that lurk the abandoned place and causes Mike, Vanessa and Abby to dig deeper into the lore of the pizzeria.
The character development that is used in this story is stuck onto Mike who is the main character of the story being told, he goes from wanting his younger brother's killer to wanting to live in a life where his brother is never taken and he is happy living his life with his family. He soon realizes his mistake and realizes that Abby is the only person he needs in his life and puts his brother's past and death behind himself to allow himself to heal from his PTSD and anger issues to just live a normal life.
The main themes of this movie is:
The American Dream.
Past Trauma.
Stepping up and becoming a new person.
Arthur Miller once explained The American Dream in a simple story after explaining the tragedy that Shakespeare often used as angst in his plays but it would only be used in a royalty and never as a common man. The American dream can simply be explained by the dreams held by someone who is financially stable enough to be living their dream in the bounds of America. Mike is shown to be failing The American Dream due to his struggles with money, the loose cases of him almost losing his sister because of his mistakes and failures where he is too wrapped in this dream that he's stuck in.
Which is why I wanted to touch on this topic, Mike does get past this dream and works on becoming a better person after a tragedy had happened. (more than once) He struggles in life but soon finds out his true answer to his troubles was family and that he had been pushing his sister out of the picture since day one. It was a recovery story with a theme of being the bigger person and learning from your mistakes.
-The Impact
As we get to the climax of this study I wanted to touch on the impact this movie had for the millions of people that decided that they wanted to watch this movie for the inner child inside of themselves. The movie has gone on to reach a 30% in critic reviews while there is an 88% audience view, (as of i'm writing this) it ended up becoming much like The Mario movie with the reviews as critics found it confusing and bland while the actual intended audience found it confusing much like the lore while their childhood dream was coming true.
Five Nights at Freddy's ended up shattering countless records on it's opening night of Friday, October 27th. Those records are:
The highest North American opening for PG-13 horror.
The second largest opening for a video game themed movie.
The biggest opening for a horror movie helmed by a female director.
The largest horror opening for 2023. (which took the throne from the Nun II)
The cultural impact this film had on the viewers and fans was overwhelmingly positive, it had people crying in the theaters, cutouts of Markiplier the titled 'King of Five nights of Freddys' in theaters, people taking in every bit of lore they could get. It impacted the inner child from 2014 that had hoped for a day that this movie would hit theaters and finally get recognized for the glory it truly is.
The movie had been rumored for more than eight years before it finally came to life around 2020 when Scott Cawthon came to light and explained the details of the film (very minor, might I add.) and confirmed it was going to be made. The same man went on to add how he went to opening nights and shared his experiences and he was happy to see how excited fans were to watch the film he spent hours and days to compact into something that was truly "made for the fans."
There were countless converseies of who would appear in the movie and the ongoing joke of the "We are FNAF" trend spreading its way through every social platform only for it to b debunked when the movie dropped. It truly will go down in its pure legacy of being a movie that took 8 years to come to limelight.
-The Conclusion
Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened. The key findings I found in this study was making the impact and techniques used to make the film as enjoyable as you could make a video game as confusing as FNAF into a movie and I have to say we definitely succeed.
The realization of failure or past trials and tribulations is what I really wanted to touch on. Mike Schmidt is welcomed as a character that is simply trying his best when it comes to taking care of his sister Abby and he is failing in every way possible but somehow makes up for it at the end of the day. This movie might've not changed lives but certainly rested the childlike excitement that we had when it was rumored all those years ago.
Finally, that inner child can come out and we can be kids again just for a smooth 2 hours. This movie was clearly life changing and will continue to be held dear in the hearts of many, it's nothing huge but something special.
I can't tell you how long I've been wanting to say this but the hype I felt in the theater the day I saw it just confirmed all my theories and doubts, this movie isn't going to be something someone is going to easily forget.
Thank you for reading my Cinematography study of the Five Nights at Freddy's movie.
And Thank You, Scott for making my childhood become a reality.

So, why do you (and any commenters) dislike Kaia? I’ll go first! 😂
I’m in the industry and not only is she maybe the worst actress I’ve seen in a long time (let alone in high profile shows and movies-yikes!) but I honestly don’t think she’s even a good model. She has model good looks- like no matter how much she bugs me I’m not going to be a hater and act like she isn’t beautiful bc she truly is. Occasionally she has some interesting photographs but this new set for Marc Jacob’s Daisy is absolute amateur hour! (Google them if you don’t know bc I don’t know how to send them in anons- she’s in a sparkly black dress, looking happy/ derpy, and doing modeling 101 poses that basic girls who think they’re models do bc it’s cliche and not what actual seasoned working models do.) It’s so cringe and I’m honestly embarrassed for her. I’ve seen her do better, but half the time the poses are “meh” and/or the eyes are totally dead. Her walk is chaotic but many ppl disagree with me there. But like, she’s the worst nepo baby in my mind bc she truly lacks talent, a personality, and an IT factor.
I don’t know her personally and sometimes she seems nice enough, but there’s a coldness to her and she feels kind of try hard (trying to be older than she is, acting like she has lived this life where she’s learned lessons but never actually gets vulnerable and shares things worth sharing, and tries to be intellectual with soft reads when it’s like…girl just go to college?). She’s just… off. Maybe at 30 she’ll be cool (I really try not to hate or root against but again, she bugs me, but I’m trying to use my words versus being emotional) but she’s beyond hard to take seriously at this moment. And I’m sorry but hers and Austin’s body language is weird AF. Her fans are so young so they don’t see any of what I’m ( or what you) talk about.
Anyway, I’m just a frustrated girlie in the industry who can’t get arrested and am fine with nepo babies if they’re talented but Kaia truly isn’t. I don’t think she’d have a career if she couldn’t afford a good publicist so it feels like double cheating to win the race (opportunities plus PR). Then I looked into her more and again, something is just…OFF.
But when and why did you not care for her? I’m curious about how similar or not similar my experience was to other people. It feels like her PR is revving up and she keeps booking roles no matter how many people call Kaia Gerber’s acting “distractingly awful” so I want some solidarity lol. 🙏🏼 When were you like, “oh hell no!” (Or anyone else brave enough to comment or reblog with an answer!) Thanks 🩷
Hi girlie! First off, your message was so good that not only do I agree with what you said but I also feel like i'd be repeating what you said if i were to go into it lol. So for the sake of not being a broken record, i appreciate you coming forward and i double down on what you said.
as for when i started noticing, she really flew under the radar for me for a little while. i became a fan back in July of last year after seeing the movie. and i didn't have a lot to think about the relationship with Austin at that time aside from shes way too young for him. I wasn't researching anything at that point and i was more concerned with learning about Austin, getting to know him and getting absorbed in that content. I think it was sometime around maybe early fall that controversies about the relationship were spreading online. most notably it was the talk of their massive cringe worthy age gap where they got together before she could legally drink AND she was cool with his ex Vanessa in the past, but also as more pap photos came out I just began to notice the obvious signs that Austin was not really "there" or present or happy to be alongside Kaia. so i researched and all of that. then around the filming of bikeriders i had solidified 100% my stance on it with the clear signs of there being rumors of a breakup and the strange PR bullshit surrounding this couple henceforth. and here i am now.
but that's kind of the short answer lol. i'm used to being used as a dartboard for these idiot shippers to throw darts at because im not afraid to be vocal. so i hope that those of us here that feel the same way can have a platform to speak up. because listen, kaia ain't it and that man looks chronically dead when seen with her. so those that don't agree with my (or our, since there are so many of us that think this way) opinion then they can stuff it.

I want to put some context behind Helen Kevric's (probably unique) achievement of defending her EYOF AA. Here is a list of previous EYOF AA winners:
2019 Viktoria Listunova RUS
2011 Larisa Iordache ROU
2009 Viktoria Komova RUS
2005 Vanessa Ferrari ITA
2001 Alina Kozich UKR
Kevric's winning score in the AA of 53.900 is not only more than 2 full points higher than the 51.765 that won this year's Jr. World Championships (Kevric was injured and unable to fully compete), but the two meets seem to have been judged relatively comparably. But here is something I want to explain particularly to gym fans that primarily focus on the United States or Russian teams. That 53.900 is a bigger score than you may think.
Last year at the 2022 US Championships Madray Johnson won the junior championship with a 53.550 on the higher of her two days. USAG does not recognize a cap on E skills for juniors which is part of FIG's attempts to limit stresses on young bodies. Helen Kevric, from all places Germany, a place and team who many fans were mocking the other week when a Republican man baby bizarrely invoked them to attack Simone Biles and Gabby Douglas, would have handily beaten the entire US junior field without any domestic bonuses and without doing a single skill rated above E.
I want Kevric to get to go to Paris because I want more than the small niche of the gymternet to fall in love with her gymnastics. I don't expect her to medal in Paris if she's there... but provided she stays healthy this is a gymnast who will be a factor through the next quad.
And if there is a single gymnastics federation that I believe knows how to guide a gymnast to a long career it's the Deutscher Turner-Bund. And I might add everything about Kevric's junior career suggests an awareness of protecting her and keeping her healthy over immediate medals. Kevric has sat out club league meets when she had upcoming elite meets... unlike say Italy who had their injured stars compete full difficulty at club meets even when they needed surgery. Kevric also routinely will withdraw from EF so that she is not over competing. I don't know what is going on in her gym but at least from the outside it looks like the right things are being done so that we will see this young lady as a medal threat for a long time to come.

first off, my self insert is basically just me, but some stuff is drastically different, and more of like, where i was 5 years ago mentally, so keep that in mind lol
sooo basics: their name is Kris Tycho, they're in their early 20s, they're 4'10, they're mexican, nonbinary, and aromantic
they are just a little guy who likes silly colorful fun things, as seen from the lil googly eye ring on their hand, the way they dress, and the fact that they might be the only person who wasn't scared of the dca when first meeting! they're also a fan of slightly unsettling and weird/misunderstood things, so, perfect match!
they are autistic and have adhd (like me!) so they tend to swing from being highly alert and focused to brain foggy and oblivious to what's going on around them. they do have bad sensory issues, mainly with sound and lights, which is why they decided to work night shift at the pizzaplex. also because they're reeeaallly socially awkward and get too stressed and exhausted working in customer service
they have a monotonous way of speaking, and can be taken too seriously due to having a resting bitch face, which tends to intimidate people. they're also a huge introvert, and don't make friends easily, which is partially due to how off-putting people find them. but! when they get comfortable with someone they're able to unmask and be overly expressive.
they also aren't exactly the most professional person, so people (vanessa) can be bothered by how casual they are at work (because they literally do not have the energy to act serious when its unnecessary). vanessa, exasperated by the animatronic shenanigans one night says "fuck robots" kris jokingly says "im trying" and vanessa is just like shut the fuck up. seriously.
they have spotify playlists of all the animatronics! (sun and moons have the most songs teehee)
is more than okay with the animatronics carrying them and being overly touchy. anyone else? immediately on their shit list
they're really good at sewing, and have fixed sun and moons clothes when management ignored their requests to repair them.
their favorite animatronic from the main band is glam chica (dont tell roxy)
their favorite movie is wall-e :] (they've always had a thing for robots)
their relationship with the dca kinda blurs the lines between platonic and....other, lol. they're unable to feel romantic feelings for them but they still do stuff like kiss and cuddle maybe other stuff too, but they basically act like besties and are each others comfort person. fuck labels! >:D
their entire thought process when deciding to work at the pizzaplex was, "i'll either work here long enough to pay off my student loans, or ill die. win win situation" (yikes, the pay there isn't even that good)
they're also huge fan of fazbear ent. because of all the rumors surrounding it, and because they were obsessed with the games when they were younger (which are canonically real in the fnaf universe). they are very aware of the alleged murders surrounding faz ent. and the very real danger of working at their establishments. but they're curious! sue them!
the reason vanessa and them are the only human workers in the entire building is because there needs to be at least 2 (human) people in an establishment during work hours (my source is i used to work at chuck e cheese, and that's my reference for the majority of these kinds of things)
their job title is security guard, but vanessa regularly gives them random tasks, things that staff bots aren't programmed or are unable to do, or things that dayshift workers forgot to do before closing. because between her, the staff bots, and moon, kris isn't exactly necessary when it comes to security.
kris doesn't meet the daycare attendant until like a month into their job, and when they do meet sun they immediately get kicked out of the daycare for not being a child lol. after going down the slide enough times to irritate sun he gives in, and they get to know each other. they spend at least an hour hanging out with sun each shift, and they even hang out outside of the daycare when they get too busy to visit!
moon has been stalking them the entire time though, when the lights go off every hour. they officially meet when kris has to do monthly maintenance on them and the lights go out while they're working. moon scares them by threatening and manhandling them, but they don't try to run. both because they're curious and because their flight or fight is just freeze. but after recovering from the shock the autism makes them go "holy shit your design is so cool how did your pants change color where did your hat come from?" and moon is completely silent, then he just laughs and leaves without letting kris finish maintenence.
ummm okay so they're actually a bit more willing to die than how i previously made it seem, their plan was essentially to try to explore as much of the pizzaplex as they can out of curiosity and if they die they die (they are not mentally well) so when they meet moon and he's slightly violent and grabby with them, they're like !!! an opportunity! so for selfish reasons (and because they vibe with the celestial jester theme), they try to get closer to moon. (secret reason: they like getting scared)
In this story there is no virus, its just vanny/vanessa being able to control the animatronics, but due to that they've become very anxious and stressed. this is why chica starts to overeat, why monty starts to have anger issues, why moon starts to act scary towards the children, and why sun starts to become an anxious mess.
at first kris didn't think the animatronics were sentient, and they were perfectly fine with the thought of possibly dying to one of them. but when they realized just how sentient they were (due to spending a lot of time around sun and moon), and how the animatronics were aware of what happened at previous locations, they felt sooo incredibly guilty.
despite not thinking the animatronics were sentient they still treated them like people, partly due to their autism that made them personify inanimate objects, but also because in their mind it was 'fun to act like they were real'. like an adult going to Disneyland and getting so lost in the magic that they forget the characters are just actors.
and... i don't want to spoil too much of the story yet teehee so ill end it there
thank u for letting me ramble! even though i kinda went overboard lol :]

I made my peace with the and that's what you really missed on Glee podcast.
I wish the recaps would be less chaotic, they would cover all storylines and have a little more bts stories, but I have accepted that this won't happen.
I made my peace with the fact that Kevin and Jenna are more interested in their own stuff, but I'm okay with it when it comes with little bts stories.
I made my peace with the fact that Kevin is a big fan of Santana/Brittana and talks a lot (too much) about them. I have the feeling he likes Santana, Brittany and now Sugar, because he's friends with Naya, Heather and Vanessa.
I made my peace with the fact that they don't talk about the characters I'm interested in (Blaine, Klaine). At least Kevin is a little bit more open to it. Jenna admitted she hated the Warblers and so far I don't think she likes Blaine. Maybe that will change when they share a storyline.
What I didn't make peace with is Jenna's negativity. She seems to hate almost everything about Glee. I get it. They had long hours, they were exhausted. Tina didn't get the storylines/songs/attention Jenna wanted. I guess Tina/Jenna didn't have a big enough fan base to push the character. (I didn't have internet back then, so I'm blissfully unaware about most of the drama around Glee.)
There was a lot of stuff Jenna felt uncomfortable with. I didn't notice there were so many asian jokes and I didn't realize they were offensive. (Jenna made me aware that the way german people are portrayed in american TV shows is really offensive. I get how she feels. And it's much worse for her, because it happened on a show she was in.)
But Glee ended more than eight years ago. It's time to let it go and focus on the positive stuff. It would be healthier for her.
They were in a successful TV show. This is like winning the lottery for unknown actors. They had a steady income and made a lot of money. They are still making money out of it.
They got life-long friendships out of Glee.
They had unique experiences. A sold-out arena tour? Who is successful enough to pull that of?
They went to events they wouldn't have went without Glee. They met people (actors, musicians) they wouldn't have met without Glee. They sang for Obama!
Glee put them on the map and made it easier to get work as an actor. And they didn't need a lot of screentime for that.
Harry was mainly used as a dancer and he is working pretty steady as an actor.
Grant had just a guest role and became the Flash.
Chris was a main character, but he isn't working that much as an actor. He is successful with his books. Who knows if that would have happened without Glee.
I could go on, but there were to many of them.
Fazit: I will keep listening to the podcast, because I made my peace with it. I just wish Jenna would make her peace with Glee and let go of all her negative feelings.

The new duet of “This Christmas” weaves together stunning new vocals recorded with instrumentation by Lalah, with previously unheard vocals from an unreleased demo Donny made of the song in 1970. In the video, Donny plays acoustic piano instead of the familiar electric heard on the original. Lalah sits in with her father as they trade verses and harmonize flawlessly.

Vanessa Williams - Legs (Keep Dancing) [Official Music Video]  First Listen: Vanessa Williams launches label with new single#VanessaWilliams, the legendary star of stage, screen, and the music scene, is dancing into the next phase of her dazzling career with a series of professional high kicks. She’s formed her own recording label, Mellian Music, set up her first publishing entities,  and signed a joint venture agreement  with Mod Squad, LLC, which is distributed by GoDigiPath, LLC, in association with  ADA Worldwide,  Warner Music Group’s independent label and artist services arm. Steven C. Beer,  who’s worked with Lady Gaga and Britney Spears, has come on board as Williams’ strategic lawyer/management consultant.“What a joy it is to be making new music behind the mike again with old friends,”  Williams adds. “There’s a certain comfort in creating new works in the studio while reminiscing about how so many years in this business have brought successes, excitement, and lasting memories. Always moving forward is what drives me. Every challenge is exciting. And more new music to share with my fans is the fuel that lights my fire.”Williams is putting the final touches on her first non-seasonal album  in 15 years. It releases later this year. The project was executive produced by Mellian Music, Mod Squad, LLC, and Christopher Todd Hall. “This is an album that surrounds Vanessa’s vocal gifts and performances with stellar acoustic and electronic performances by real musicians, real writers, real producers; a real music album,” says Mod Squad CEO, Tony Prendatt. “This album is for all genres. It  will touch on all of Vanessa’s experiences in the Pop, R&B, Latin, Jazz, and Dance genres. Vanessa is re-introducing herself by her design; we’re all committed and excited to be a part of it.”The first single, “Legs (Keep Dancing),” was co-written by Disney songwriter/producer Chantry Johnson; songwriter Kjersti Long; and songwriter/producer Kipper Jones who co-penned Williams’ early classics, “The Comfort Zone” and “The Right Stuff.”  Music isn’t the only thing on Williams’ mind. She’s currently in rehearsals to star as the fictional fashion queen Miranda Priestlyin London, England’s West End stage production of The Devil Wears Prada. There are preview performances at the Theatre Royal Plymouth July 6- August 21st. The official opening takes place on October 24th at the city’s Dominion Theatre.  The musical features an original score by  Sir Elton John and lyrics by Shania Taub. The book is by Kate Wetherhead. It’s directed and choreographed by 3-time Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell (Hairspray, Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde, Pretty Woman). In the past, Williams has served as executive producer for various projects such as the telefilm, The Courage to Love, and her own televised Christmas specials.  She’s continuing that enterprising practice as part of the producer team for  A Wonderful World: The Louis Armstrong Musical, a play about the life of the iconic jazz trumpeter known as Satchmo, that will make its Broadway debut this fall at the Roundabout Theatre’s Studio 54 in New York City. The production will star James Monroe Inglehart who is best-known for his Tony Award winning role as Genie in the original Broadway production of Aladdin.“You can call it a comeback, a full circle moment, or just plain serendipity,” says songwriter Kipper Jones who’s history with Williams dates to her The Right Stuff album debut in 1988. “But I call it a blessing to be creating more history with the iconic force of nature that is Vanessa Williams. If past is indeed prologue, we’re about to give ‘em hell again!”

Online Poker Tournament - Strategies For Winning One
Distraction: It is important to focus on your game if you want to win a game of poker. Your success is dependent on your ability to pay attention to your game. Online poker requires that you turn off your TV, phone, and radio when playing at home. This will ensure that you are not distracted by distractions. Keep your concentration high and avoid distractions so you don't lose track of your game. If you leave your game up to luck, that's where it will cost you. If you are new to online gambling, it is a good idea to play three to four games at once. That way you can focus on your game without making mistakes. Some players will fold their hand during each round of betting. This is because the betting is too high for their hand strength or they are unable to hit the cards required to make a strong hand. Any player who is left in the hand at showdown would turn over their cards to reveal their hand. The pot is won if the best 5 card poker hand is made (which would be a combination of all bets, blinds, and all bets). Texas Hold'em, the party favorite, has the highest traffic both online and in-person. It is featured in most major poker tournaments and televised money games. Mansour Mateloubi becomes a first non-American Main Event Winner in 1990 before final tabling again for 1993. Jim Bechel, the eventual winner, eliminated him in fourth place, depriving poker fans of another two-time champion. Erick Lindgren, last year's WSOP Player Of The Year, final tabled three events, but chose the most difficult to win his first bracelet. He had to dodge around Justin Bonomo's, Andrew Robl's and Roland de Wolfe's opponents to get the $5,000 Mixed Hold'em trophy. Easy. There's also the one where he calls him an idiot or the time he accuses his fellow player of not being competent enough to spell poker, let alone play it. winning poker game WPT Magazine has gathered too many nuggets and grouped them together in one collective group. Good work, Phil. Nemad Medic. David Singer. Erick Lindgren. Mike Matusow. Vanessa Selbst. Daniel Negreanu. Max Pescatori. Kenny Tran. Barry Greenstein. Phil Galfond. John Phan. Rob Hollink. Dario Minieri. Layne Flack. David Benyamine. Scotty Nguyen. JC Tran. Marty Smyth. All bracelet winners. Enough said. Podcasting Poker - There are a few big Internet Radio stations that specialize on poker. They often have weekly podcasts available for download. This is a great place to get advice straight from the top players, or people who are adept at explaining the nuances of poker topics that can be confusing when you discuss them on forums. You can search iTunes, Poker Road and Bluff online to get started. click here whether you play Stud, Holdem, Razz or Omaha there are podcasts discussing strategy. These podcasts are great for learning and entertaining while you drive or walk to work.

The Play that I Wrote, review: Tom Hiddleston sends himself up a treat in this hilarious revival | The Telegraph
Tumblr media
A surprise outbreak of Hiddleston-mania occurred in Birmingham at the weekend and last night, with the opening of The Play What I Wrote, one of the daftest and most delightful stage comedy shows of the 21st century, re-minted for a new generation. Twenty years ago, it was the cameo presence of Ralph Fiennes that galvanised the press night at Wyndham’s Theatre. This time round, Rep artistic director Sean Foley – one half of erstwhile comedy duo the Right Size, who penned and first performed this arch tribute to Morecambe and Wise – had recruited another Hollywood name to guest-star: Tom Hiddleston, who proved sweetly game for a laugh. (Other big names will appear as the run proceeds.) He suffered himself to be ignored, misnamed, attired in a hideous crinoline, required to dance like a prat and send himself up something rotten. How so? As fans of the light-entertainment giants will recall, “the play what I wrote” was the lamentable exercise in playwriting that Wise would inflict on both Morecambe and viewers, dragooning famous faces to take part. It was such an institution that it became a who’s who of actors and celebrities seeking to flaunt a sense of humour, among them Glenda Jackson, Vanessa Redgrave and John Mills. The fool but hardy idea of Foley and fellow Right Sizer Hamish McColl was to hold onto the notion of a play within a play as a way into their homage, and then apply a circuitous route to it. In the Olivier-winning original production, directed by Kenneth Branagh, they offered versions of themselves: a double-act on the point of splitting up, a despondent McColl obsessed with being a playwright, Foley running along with the idea but slyly signing up his comedy partner to take part in a M&W tribute in a bid to keep them together. In this fresh incarnation, the present-day double-act are played by kindred spirits but not actual comedy partners: the actor Dennis Herdman and the sketch comic Thom Tuck. Confused? You won’t be. A longstanding fan of Eric and Ernie? You needn’t be either. The show, which was written in conjunction with the stars’ scriptwriter Eddie Braben, and has been tweaked here and there to keep it up to date, achieves the near-impossible. It weaves in all kinds of nods to the comedy legends but cleaves to the basic conceit that it’s all happening on its own terms. Sustained impersonation isn’t attempted, instead we get a flavour of what the duo embodied – the squabbling familiarity of a married couple and a nicely contrasting playfulness.
Tumblr media
Herdman, 6ft 2in, blessed with an Eric-esque physicality and quickness, and Tuck, who possesses an Ernie-like pensiveness and dreaminess, are first seen (not lying but standing upright) in a flimsily suggested bed singing a riddling ditty. Dennis swiftly announces his impending French Revolution-set playlet – A Tight Squeeze for the Scarlet Pimple. One snag is that the designated celebrity, Ian McKellen, isn’t available (he’s in panto, or the pub) and snag two is that there’s anger in the stalls from the “militant wing” of the M&W appreciation society (a multi-tasking Mitesh Soni), demanding a more overt tribute. By the time we get to the second half, and the frisson-inducing arrival of le Hiddleston, we’ve had a welter of old-fashioned gags, verbal and visual, timed to perfection. But the best material lies in the VIP lounge area of the evening. “I did The Night Manager”, explains the bemused-acting intruder, forced to identify himself. “Really?” comes the retort. “Did his wife know?” “I am a forlorn Conte”, Hiddleston later deadpans. To which: “Hold it there, son…. Can he say that?” This perhaps isn’t, then, the perfect family Christmas outing. But it is the ideal winter warmer for those in search of sophisticated nostalgia. “Bring me sunshine”, they sing at the end – complete with signature springing steps. They did then; they do now. You’ll laugh your head off. You may shed a little tear too.

Both moon and sun are contortionists, and can bend there body any way. Moon uses it to creep kids.
Freddy and chica grieved after Bonnie was destroyed and keeps a bowling ball in there room so they can remember him by. Roxy doesn’t like to speak on the matter of Bonnie but she definitely misses him.
roxy Monty like to get there nails done and get acrylics together. Montys gets longer nails every time.
Chica smells like shit because of all the garbage she eats. Chica once drank spoiled milk and she was unbearable to be around.
Sun and moon sometimes get into fist fights and kids will bet there faz tickets on who will win
Roxy listens to ayesha erotica
Freddy gives free faz tickets if your nice to him or you say he’s your favorite

Being Adopted by Johnny and Vanessa (Johnny Depp x daughter!reader)
for @kittenlittle24   @evelynrosestuff
WARNINGS: mentions of racism, adoption, teen pregnancy
It’s not fair, not in the slightest, and you couldn’t figure out why. You’re part of a very talented and successful girl group that’s sold millions of records and you’re never involved in any kind of drama, you don’t even have screenshots of you floating around of you being homophobic, transphobic or anything like that. For the most part, you’re unproblematic, so why the hell are your comment and reply section always filled with hate messages? And the worst part, the people who sent them had pictures of your sister as their profile.
When you made a birthday post for your mom, people left unnecessary comments ranging from: lmaoo, she’s not ur mom to why are you posting someone else’s mom? Of course not every comment is like that but it still hurt. You threw your phone down on the couch and huffed, angrily biting into your sandwich. “What’s the matter Sugar Plum?” asked your dad, sitting next to you on the couch. “Everything!”
You proceeded to tell him, about the racist comments people make toward you, the slurs directed at you and it made you cry. Since your family is white, they couldn’t understand the racism you face in the music industry, your every day life, but they did their best to sympathize. “Lily gets to wear revealing clothes and she’s called a trendsetter and fashion forward. I wear a custom Louis Vuitton dress and I get called cheap looking!” of course, your anger isn’t directed towards Lily, it’s not her fault and she always looks amazing, but the double standards between the two of you are so clear, even Stevie Wonder can see it, and for you, the goal posts were always moving. Your dad pulled you into his lap like he did when you were little and just held you against his chest.
“And... and then they tell me I’m not your child the way Lily and Jack are.” Your dad gasped and stopped rocking you from side to side. “Y/N! You don’t believe that do you? Because you know that’s not true, not of it!” You really don’t believe it, but you would be lying if you said it didn’t get to you. “Y/N, listen to me. Your mother and I love you very much, and so do your brother and sister, and you ARE one hundred percent our child.”
A few months after your birth, you were adopted by Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis. They already had two kids but they wanted a third one badly, so they decided to adopt. You had spend your first few months of life in the foster care system; your bio mom was a teenager when she had you while dad was a high school drop-out working at an Italian restaurant and your mom was a ballerina for a major dance company, and in order to keep her spot, she had to give you up, and since your dad was pretty much absent during the pregnancy, it was a win-win. Everyone always said it was a possibility on why you were drawn to ballet, you trained for years professionally before deciding to pursue music, although you do train occasionally to keep up the skill, sometimes posting videos to social media. “I understand that using social media is part of your job and a way to connect with fans, but I want you stop reading the comments okay? Turn your accounts over to your manager if you have to.”
You nodded that you understood everything he was telling you. “Good. Now how about you finish eating and you can show me that song you were working on all last night?” “Sounds like a plan.”

Won’t Let Go - Chapter 6
Chapter 6 Several weeks had passed since Jay had made it official with Sophia. He couldn't have been happier. The couple had fallen into a routine that they both were happy with. The nights Sophia worked at the bar, Jay would come hang out until she was done for the evening. If she had a late night and Jay had to work early the next morning, he would go up to her apartment to sleep until she had gotten in. On the nights that Sophia had off, they would go on various dates, and during the day when Jay was at work, she would often stop by with lunch for them. Since the summer days were close to ending, they had decided to take a couple days off to head to a cabin to get away from Chicago for four days, before arriving back for the annual Chicago Fire and Chicago PD cook-out. Jay had enjoyed his time at the cabin with the dark haired woman. During the day the would lounge around on the beach, swam around in the lake, then once the sun had started to set, they would sit on the small dock near their cabin to watch the sunset, and then Jay would whisk her away into the cabin to make love. On the final night they were there, Jay and Sophia had cooked dinner together. Sophia had been wearing nothing but Jay's t-shirt, while Jay had nothing but a pair of black briefs on. They had just finished making love, and Sophia had declared that she was hungry. Jay was standing at the stove, while Sophia was sitting on the counter, her face was free of make-up, the suntan illuminating her skin, and her dark hair was in a messy bun on her head. He had walked to stand between her legs, his hands on her hips as she wrapped her delicate hands around his neck. " I love you..." Jay had let the words slip from his mouth slow and quietly, knowing that he in fact loved the woman in front of him. He had almost gulped realizing that he had said those three words out loud but knew that he couldn't take them back, even if he wanted to. His blue eyes found hers and she was looking back at him, almost into his soul and repeated the words with a kind smile on her face. "Earth to Halstead..." Jay blinked his eyes a few times from the picnic table he was sitting at to see Adam Ruzek sitting across from him, "I said how was your guys trip to the cabin?" Adam questioned again with a chuckle. "It was good." Jay let out a breathy laugh, "It was really good." Jay reached for his water to take a drink, noticing that Sophia was sitting in the grass on a large blanket with her little sister reading a book. "Man you've got it bad." Adam turned to look over his shoulder seeing that Jay was staring lovingly at his girlfriend. "Okay, listen up..." Chief Boden's deep voice caused Jay and Adam to look towards the older man, "Every year we hold a volleyball tournament, PD verus fire." Chief started out causing the police department and firehouse to begin to cheer since it had been a fun rival between the two departments, "This is how it will go, PD and fire will pick two teams each. Each department will play one game, whoever wins advances until there are two teams left. Whoever wins gets bragging rights until next years tournament." Chief explained, "Now keep it friendly, and keep it fun. We will be starting in twenty minutes." Jay and Adam pushed themselves up from the picnic table and headed towards where PD was starting to gather around. Jay had noticed Sophia smiling at him and he had shot her a wink. Halstead knew that one team would consist of him, Ruzek, Atwater, Kim, Antonio, and Vanessa. So he had just stood around listening to who would be on the second team. Sophia watched as her mother had called for Annabelle since the volleyball games were getting started, so the oldest Herrmann child moved towards the edge of the beach to sit and watch the games. As she sat down, Jay had jogged over to her, resting his hands on her knees. "You're gonna cheer for me, right?" Jay questioned with a boyish smile. "I don't know about it." Sophia smiled back, "You're going against my dad and friends..." Sophia added causing Jay to put a hand over his heart playfully pretending to be hurt. "Halstead, let's go!" Christopher Herrmann yelled for the detective causing Sophia to grin. "Love you..." Jay ducked his lips down to kiss hers before running back to the sand to start to game. . . Later that evening Sophia was sitting in Mollys next to Jay as he nursed a beer in one hand, while his other arm was laced around her shoulders, hearing Firehouse 51 brag about winning the volleyball game. Sophia chuckled as Jay leaned towards her to kiss her temple, "If you would have been my cheerleader, we would have won." Jay spoke causing the table to laugh as they drank their beers. "I doubt that. You ate more sand than you hit the ball." Sophia teased causing a round of laughter. "I kept tripping because I'm use to running on pavement, not in sand." Jay stated with a playfully stern tone causing Sophia to roll her eyebrows. Sophia was enjoying her night off with Jay and all of her friends, listening to the banter between her father, Chief Boden Jay Halstead and Adam Ruzek. She was about to get up from the table to get another beer when Stella Kidd approached. "Hey Soph..." Stella grabbed her arm gently and leaned into her ear, "Noah is here looking for you." Stella spoke quietly into her ear causing her to furrow her eyebrows within seconds. "What?" Sophia questioned quietly glancing to Jay to see him speaking to her father and then back to Stella, "You sure it's him?" Sophia questioned and watched her friend nod. "Yeah. He said that he needed to speak with you, that he would be outside because he did not want to interrupt." Stella explained. Sophia was internally groaning because she had yet to find the right time to tell Jay about her past with Noah. It had never came up, but now that Noah was in Chicago, she wasn't sure where to even begin with that entire conversation. "I'll be back..." Sophia commented to Jay, moving from the bar table and heading towards the front door after giving Stella a knowing look. Walking out into the chilly air, Sophia's dark blue eyes scanned the area for the familiar face. She was able to easily make out his dark suit, his large frame leaning against a black vehicle across the street. His arms crossed over his chest as he looked down the road. "Noah." Sophia approached him, "What are you doing here?" Sophia questioned. "Good to see you darlin..." Noah moved to hug her, Sophia froze for a moment as the man wrapped his arms around her and then pulled back, causing him to chuckle, "I know we didn't end things on the best note, but I wanted to be respectful enough to let you know that I'll be in town for a couple of months." Noah explained. "Oh..." Sophia hummed, not entirely sure why he had wanted her to know. "I have a couple of people who are interested in your artwork." Noah explained, "A couple of business men's wives are wanting to get in touch with you about some of your paintings." Noah added. Sophia took a breath and looked up to the tall man, "I don't really need the money, I'm pretty well set from the paintings I sold before I came back." Sophia stated, knowing that Noah was wanting to make sure that she was financially okay. Noah let out a laugh, "I'm aware of that. These women are wanting to pay ten thousand for your paintings, if not more." Sophia's eyes nearly bugged out of her head causing Noah to chuckle lightly, "Look, there's no funny business as you like to call it." Noah started, "They were in the apartment I'm staying at while I'm  here and saw the artwork of yours I have displayed and fell in love, asked me to reach out." Noah explained. Sophia knew that Noah was always a fan of her art and tried like hell to help her spread her work around to different people they had came across. Sophia found herself nodding her head, "Yeah, okay..." Sophia knew that the extra money would help her to find an actual home to buy so she could settle down in Chicago finally. "Soph?" Sophia heard her boyfriend's voice, and she turned to look over her shoulder to see Jay Halstead standing outside Molly's with his eyebrows furrowed. "I'll be in touch." Jay Halstead watched as the dark haired man in a suit leaned down to kiss Sophia's cheek before getting into his car and driving away. Jay watched as Sophia's shoulders dropped before she headed towards him. "Who was that?" He found himself questioning.

Snatcher
Snatcher is quite possibly one of the most interesting characters I have come across. Because snatcher is so... Gray.
He's not necessarily good or bad, black or white, hes gray. And I know some people would argue this with me but I'm being serious.
Hes a character that actually has a hella ton of depth, when you look at everything.
A fairytale story gone wrong, a tortured soul that quite literally decided he wanted to be the villain.
And i think about this so much.
To start from the beginning- the prince, from what we can tell based on Vanessa's chapter and the time rifts based on subcon, was a sweet guy who loved his Princess and went to law school to do what he had wanted. He was loyal and loving towards her, to a fault.
And personally, I think its great because its like. The exact opposite to snatcher.
And it's understandable! I mean, their tale is tragic. It truly is.
A man too blinded by his own love and loyalty, which ultimately led to his end.
Now, leading more into the snatcher part I want to ramble about, this makes a very.. Interesting perspective on him.
For one thing it makes their actions, to a degree, more understandable. Their emphasis on things belonging to HIM. The fact that theyre cold (ahaha-) towards other people, and have a pretty big temper.
The fact that they are as far from being how the prince was at possible just.. Interests me.
I know ive seen a lot of fan content where snatcher is depicted as hating his old self, going so far as to detach and refer to it as a whole different person.
And in a way, I agree! I mean
Imagine youre this ghost, and you finally escape what is.. Basically your own hell.
You escape. You get stronger. You learn more and more as the years go by and you realize.. How much was wrong before. How bad it actually was.
Maybe you weep for yourself. Maybe you feel lost for a long while Maybe you just get angry. It makes total sense for you to start hating what you used to be.
But here's what fascinates me about snatcher. As I said before, hes not.. Black or white. Hes a gray.
Does he do evil acts? Absolutely yes. He is a villain, without a doubt.
However, he's not a monster. For one thing, they rule the forest, and do 'take care of it' (granted, by making other people do stuff for him, but still). He also gets mail to his minions and such, even if its just so 'its almost like someone cares about them'.
And the two scenes id like to point out that particularly stick with me-
His boss battle and his options in chapter 5 (aka mu's boss fight aka i cant remember the name)
In the actual story of the game, I find the fact that snatcher even gives the option of a fight interesting. And yeah I know this is a game and all but hear me out.
Snatcher kills his contractors. He says so himself. However, the fact that he has a fight at all means he gives them at least a fighting chance. Does he ever expect them to win? Of course not! But they at least have some semblance of a chance, even if the odds are basically zero to none.
Which makes hat kids victory so... Interesting?
Like i was talking to my gf about this the other day, and yknow, I bet he's never been beat before. His whole ending scene, he sounds almost.. Desperate. Winded.
Like-
"Sorry kiddo, blue doesn't suit me, so i guess that makes me invincible huh? That's too bad!~"
"This can't count, right?! Surely this doesn't count!?"
How much you wanna bet he was actually surprised that hat kid found a loophole to hit him with. She beat him. Because she found a loophole.
Most likely unlike anyone else they've 'fought' (if you can even call it a fight, I bet), Hat kid actually beat him. So it'd make sense, if thats the case, that theyre... Probably a fair but desperate to make the kid leave.
And I dunno, the whole mood of his defeat just interests me so much. It goes from winded, to annoyed to desperate and then to just
Tired.
Snatcher realizes he can't win, and they cute their losses and give hat kid the time piece.
And then this leads me towards the final chapter, specifically when you talk to him on the stair case.
Even more specifically, a line he says.
"I want you to go up there, and hit them. I don't usually advocate for that kind of thing, but this is pretty authoritarian."
I don't know why but that sticks with me. Its almost laughable, when you think about it. Of all the characters in ahit, youd imagine Snatcher would be the one most.. I dunno, open for to hitting? Xgxgigci
And when you think about it, he only really hits you one time, and thats in his boss fight when you have to figure out which ones actually him.
Everything else is either magic or something else.
Which.. Granted again this could all be just a kind of throwaway thing, but I always come back to think about it cause that means Snatcher found a loophole for themself igficgdtu
But basically yeah. Snatcher fascinates me because hes a more morally ambiguous character, and you could spend literal hours going over him. From their design to their story to their actions. And one of the things that i actually love that gears for breakfast did, intentional or not, was that they didn't give the whole story. There's still enough mystery to keep you coming back, and theorizing, and making your own assumptions and stories based off whats there.
...plus its good ramble fuel lol
