I love how even though Fartooth dislikes commotion she still seems to really respect Wild Mane who's all of the commotion.

Which to be honest feels quite rare in media since the writers usually would rather coin on comedy between 'hates noise' vs 'noisy'.

I guess it might be these differences leading them to sitting farthest from each other during drinking time in the squad.

Yet Fartooth doesn't seem to dislike Wild Mane. According to Wild Mane's file their cooperation is smooth.

Fartooth is polar opposite to Wild Mane. She doesn't talk a lot, and i don't think she complains much even when she feels annoyed? Though i might be wrong ofc. Sitting farther away feels like a simple way to not feel overwhelmed by Wild Mane's energy while enjoying her company just like the others do. It feels like a way to show respect to their differences.

And what i also love is how she actually shows a deeper understanding of Wild Mane as a person.

When Wild Mane complains about hating to eat the healthy food she receives from Justice Knight and how she's not able to refuse it, Fartooth's reaction is honest and friendly. It seems Fartooth can be open towards her.

And when Wild Mane falls asleep on her face, and Ashlock and Flametail note on Wild Mane's heavy training, Fartooth sympathises with Wild Mane's cause.

She joins it on the railing, and together they stand in silence, staring into the distance where they both know Kazimierz lies.

"Do you ever miss it?"

"Miss what?"Greynuty knows exactly what it means.

"Y'know. Life before......all this. Before Rhodes, before Pinus, before...getting infected. Your family's noble too, yeah? Ever miss them?"

"Yeah." Iwona leans their head on the railing with a thunk. "I know they're right bastards for the way they treated us. Threw us under the treads without a second thought. But..." It sighs. "I still hope they're doing ok."

Greynuty rests a hand on their shoulder, saying nothing. Iwona leans into the touch, shivering.

"Well, I hope most of them are doing ok. Gran can get stuffed."

Greynuty chokes back a laugh. "She was that bad, eh?"

"Oh, absolutely. I ever tell you about the time she threw one of my uncles in a swimming pool?"

"Don't think so. You can tell us inside, Sona and Justyna are waiting for us for dinner."

"Aw, shit, why didn't you say something sooner!" Iwona turns from under its partner's arm, darting towards the door. "Foods gotta be cold by now!"
