i just found the spn newsletter that ended only in 2022 and had been going on since 2006, and is still up as a centralized archive of fanworks. like every fourth link u click on is dead but the beautiful angel the wayback machine comes through. even found this fanvid with "i will always return" from the fucking spirit stallion of the cimarron soundtrack, uploaded when s1 was still airing, if not when it was just wrapping up [no timestamp available so i can't be sure].

i would love to upload what else i can find to a yt acct to make these more accessible but i'm already wrapped up with enough shit as it is. its only bc of an automatic data crawler that uploaded it's data to wayback in 2010 that even a crumb of 2006 spn mvs can even be found.

that's a pretty good hack, but it still feels like switching between two equally bad choices, you know? if i pick "show me to people who want to see men", i'll get shown to a lot of straight women who will go Ew What's This, and if i select "show me to people who want to see women", i'm effectively invalidating my own gender identity. i've currently got it set it to the latter, but it really does feel like i'm being forced to subscribe to the "nonbinary is just Woman Lite" philosophy.

#i need to refresh myself on how to write html & css... reviving my old neocities acct will be a good way to do that #the thing about that last point is like. the old sims medieval wiki Has quest guides but. it's a wikia/fandom wiki #and the MAIN sims wiki is moving to miraheze which is cool #but i think the tsm wiki is abandoned much like tsm itself #and im sure somebody else out there has made a tsm guide but #eventually we will lose one of the existing guides to wikia being a fucking trash fire #i need to bring the number of sims medieval quest guides back up to normal when that happens

i find it funny how my main tumblr blog and twitter account feel so different

#my main tumblr may have a suegiku theme but my more well received works have been of au posts #while i'm exclusively a suegiku / hunting dogs acct on twitter #i'll be honest though #i haven't posted on my main in a while compared to twitter because i haven't worked on my au projects #and i feel incredibly guilty everytime i think that #and just in general #my irregular posting definitely impacted how well my posts are received #and that does discourage me a lot more than i like to think #i promise i won't abandon my tumblr ever #if i can get over those two major issues i have #then ill be much happier to post here again
