When handed the cup of hot cocoa, Mingi looks at it, curious because nobody has made him a drink of hot chocolate in a long time. "Thank you," he says with a soft smile before taking a sip, eyes lighting up because it's been so long since he had something so sweet.

He offers Nayeon a seat, turns on the TV and finds something for them to watch while they have their drinks. Mingi sips in silence before turning to Nayeon, "the last time I drank hot cocoa with a friend was... I think I was 8." He shares, nothing too deep but also a little insight into the boy he was before this. "But I don't remember it being as good as this."

All of those things run through my mind and it's exhausting every time I look at the tape."

She chokes up, putting the tape down and grabbing a red fedora that was also in the box. "Then once I discovered what he did, I killed him too." She feels the tears running down her face. "It wasnt my choice, when witches go through an emotionally taxing experience where they could be put at risk, coupled with the fact that he was abusing me, my magic got tired of it and a force equivalent to the sun was blasted at him at full force." At this point she was sobbing, putting the fedora down and grabbing a little teddy bear that was in the box. "The building burned at my doing and it hurts to remember. My mom's body still inside and I thought my husband got out when I later found out I killed him. I felt like a monster and I couldn't shake the feeling even if everything wasnt my fault. Or at least I like to tell myself that. So I locked myself in my house for awhile out of fear that I would hurt someone."

What are some challenges you face? Is there anything that you want in life? Do you have any insecurities that you don’t want people to know? Sorry 😅 one last one, is there something you would like to change about yourself?

Oh, these are a lot... challenges, I think I deal with the same type of challenges everyone faces. Navigating friendships and relationships, and balancing business and personal, are a lot of the challenges that I face. Keeping up with my duty but also making sure that I have time for those in my life. Do I have any insecurities... I do, I have a lot. You don't live for thousands of years and not pick up an insecurity or two, however, I won't share them as they aren't things I want to be used against me. If I could change something about myself... there are a few things, yes. As much as I believe one should love themself no matter, there are things I wish I could change. Though, I don't think I'm allowed to share one of them~

Her wrists, as well as her ankles, were burning from the tightly tied rope, but the burn was nothing compared to the dryness in her throat and the pain in her stomach. She was indeed famished, being gone for almost half a day, and the food from the man's hand looked tastier than the luxurious dishes from the castle.

She opened her mouth to speak, ready to answer his question, but she closed it immediately, as no words came out due to the aching in her throat. So she only nodded, moving as best as she could to be closer to the bars and let him feed her.

If her father, the King, saw the position she was in, mouth hanging open and eyes pleading for her kidnapper to give her a drop of water and a chunk of bread, he'd disown her right then and there. She was ashamed of her behavior as well, but she couldn't deny her needs. In order to escape, she first needed to be in good condition.

She had to do anything to survive, even if it means lowering herself.

"Please, ..." she whispered slowly, encouraging the man to put the rim of the canister on her dry lips. The princess also made a longer pause at the end, waiting for her kidnapper to say his name and finally reveal his identity.
