What Imperials would name their children (SWR edition)

(I'm going to be including some Imperials from the OG Trilogy too, so...yeah this list is going to be separated into probably two parts. Also, these are just my preferred names, so if you think that they'd name their children something different....good for you.)

Captain Slavin

A father of two. A rambunctious eleven year old boy named Viktor, and a seven year old girl named Raven.

Yogar Lyste

He currently only has a five year old daughter. Because he and his wife couldn't decide on what to name her, they decided to name her Lavender because the color of the bundle she was wrapped in was....lavender purple.

Cumberlayne Aresko

In Aresko's case, he has three kids. Twin boys named Kellan and Lycan who are both 16 (with Kellan being the oldest by 4 minutes), and a 5 year old daughter named Luna. His sons take pride at being in their words a lot cooler than their old man, and will gladly nuke anyone's existance if someone made their baby sister cry. They're the reason he's worn out most of the time, but he loves them.

Myles Grint

A six-and-and-a-half son named Jaune, who is often seen following Viktor, Raven, Luna and Lavender around. A bit tall for his age, he took to sports kind of early. His first sport was field hockey.

Maketh Tua

She is also the proud mama of twins. A boy named Orion and a girl named Artemis. Artemis is smart yet shy, while Orion is smart and more open-minded. She takes absolute pride that her kids inherited her wit and intelligence.

Thrawn

Okay...so Thrawn has always been too busy to think about having children of his own. So instead, he's raising his nine year old neice Areyn. His brother just kinda dropped her off one day, with a note explaining that he needed Thrawn to keep her safe until things in the Unknown Regions have calmed down. Which, fair enough. Thrawn adores, and cherishes his neice more than life itself. He has taken a lot of holopics and videos of her and happily shows them to anyone, weither they want to see them or not.

Konstantine

He has a son he named Fennec. Fennec...well he doesn't like his dad. At all. Konstantine doesn't understand why, but one contributing factor could be that the man forced Fennec into a lot of extra-curricular activities. All of which happened at the same time. Because of this, Fennec hasn't had to form any relationships, or keep friendships because he's always too busy!

The Inquisitor

Surprise, surprise, he has a child. Though she's more like his adopted daughter, but still his either way. Her name is simply Emil. A pre-teen, force sensitive girl who mostly keeps to herself and doesn't like confrontations.

Governor Pryce

A son named Keith. Keith doesn't really see eye-to-eye with his mom on most things. Mostly this whole war with the Rebellion and whatnot. A star student at the Imperial Academy, he also keeps to himself. As a way of rebelling against his mom, he's something of a delinquent...if you can even call him that.

Brom Titus

Now Titus' son Benny is a delinquent. The boy gets into fights, and is incredibly off-standish. This is because he has been bullied a lot because of his name, and because of his dad often getting demoted. If he sees anyone bullying anyone, he will immediately go over and put an end to it. This has caused him to gain a bit of a following from kids younger than him, for he's always seen walking with an entourage following after him..

‘Star Wars Rebels’ S4 E3/4 Recap: ‘In the Name of the Rebellion’

The rebel extremist of “Rogue One” returns.

The Gauntlet fighter blasts out of hyperspace over Yavin IV, where the survivors of the Phoenix group rebel cell moved after being defeated by the Empire on Atollon.

Blind Jedi Kanan Jarrus (Freddie Prinze Jr.), his Padawan Ezra Bridger (Taylor Gray) and Sabine Wren (Tiya Sircar) discuss how this cell is better equipped than they ever were.

When they land among the familiar Massassi Temples originally seen in “A New Hope,” Zeb (Steve Blum) gives them the tour and notes that cells have gathered from all over the galaxy — but they still haven’t got a big enough force to take on the Empire.

‘Star Wars Rebels’ S4 Premiere recap: ‘Heroes of Mandalore’

As Ezra muses about liberating his homeworld, Lothal, Clone Commander Rex (Dee Bradley Baker) rushes out at the sound of a warning klaxon. It would seem that Captain Hera Syndulla (Vanessa Marshall) and her squadron are coming in fast.

Three smoking Y-Wings, one of which is piloted by Wedge Antilles (Nathan Kress), blast through the sky above them and dump their fuel as they eject what remains of their fuel. Hera lowers her landing gear and scrapes along the runway, grinding to a halt near her rebel allies.

We don’t see the others land, but it’s soon clear that they made it down okay. Hera is clearly a little shaken by her hard landing and Wedge starts to apologize the mission going bad, but she cuts him off and blames bad intel.

��If you hadn’t handled yourself so courageously, we would have lost everybody,” she says, before realizing that the rest of the Ghost crew have returned from their mission to Mandalore.

‘Star Wars Rebels’ exec producer confirms Season 4’s arch villain

The reunion continues with the arrival of Imperial defector Alexsandr Kallus (David Oyelowo), sporting a new look. Fans will know that this style, which better suits his new status as a member of the Rebel Alliance, has spawned the #HotKallus trend among fans on Twitter.

Kallus brings the Ghost crew to meet Rebel Alliance leaders Mon Mothma (Genevieve O’Reilly) Gen. Jan Dodonna (Michael Bell) and Bail Organa (Phil LaMarr), who joins them as a holographic projection and says his Senate sources say the Empire has built a new communications relay in the Jalindi system.

The outpost has given the Imperials more control in the region and could be directly linked to the failure of Hera’s mission. Dodonna notes that they had previously heard rumors of this relay from Saw Gerrera (Forest Whitaker), prompting Rex to wonder how the rebel extremist has better intel than the Alliance proper.

“Because Gerrera has absolutely no qualms about how he acquires it,” says a disgusted Kallus.

Ezra wonders why Saw’s methods are a problem, but Mon Mothma has a sharp response.

“We do not mistreat our prisoners,” she says firmly.

Kallus suggests that they hack into the relay, so that they can monitor Imperial fleet movements and simply avoid them. Hera volunteers the Ghost crew for the job, but Ezra wonders aloud when they’re going to liberate Lothal if they continue to undertake smaller missions like this.

Mon Mothma takes the teen aside and shows him a map showing the thousands of worlds suffering under Imperial rule. She cites their defeat on Atollon as proof that they aren’t ready for open war.

Leaving the rebel leaders, Ezra is still troubled when he sits down to meditate with Kanan and fails to notice the mysterious astromech droid rolling behind him. The apprentice bemoans all the politics of the rebellion, recalling their time with Saw on Geonosis and the fact that “he just fights.”

Clone Commander Rex and some rebels rush out to see their allies returning from a mission.

At this point, Saw’s holographic image springs to life from the new droid projector and rebels gather around to watch.

He mocks the Alliance leaders’ refusal to take decisive action as Mon Mothma arrives. The charismatic pair debate about their methods, having both been branded “criminals” by the Empire.

“You target civilians, kill those who surrender, break every rule of engagement,” says a passionate Mon Mothma. “If we degrade ourselves to the Empire’s level, what will we become?”

‘Star Wars: From a Certain Point of View’ offers new perspectives

Saw is delighted to finally see “that fire, that passion,” and wonders where Mon Mothma has been hiding it. However, she has had enough and orders one of the rebel troops to cut the transmission.

O’Reilly and Whitaker both put in excellent performances in this scene; it’s cool that “Rebels” is taking the time to showcase different philosophies in the face of Imperial tyranny.

We jump to the Ghost as it travels through hyperspace and Hera goes over the plan. Ezra, Sabine and Chopper will rocket-jump from the ship down to the communications dish, which is at the top of one of Jalindi’s natural stone towers.

The rebel trio must wait to slow their fall until the last second, to avoid activating the Empire’s sensors. After they hack into the relay, they will plant a spike and jump down to the Ghost as it hovers below sensor range.

Of course, we know it won’t be that simple!

No doubt reacting to Saw’s words, Ezra highlights the fact that hacking the relay will only make it easier for the rebels to sneak around. Hera argues that destroying it will just result in the Imperials building another and they’ll be right back where they started.

In the cockpit, Hera and Kanan have a private moment. She admits that Ezra is right, and that she wants to hurt the Empire after the attack on her squadron.

“That’s Gerrera talking, not you,” the Jedi says. “You’re doing the right thing.”

However, the Twi’lek notes that she isn’t sure what the right thing is any more — highlighting how the war has made her question her sense of morality.

They arrive over the planet and fly through the clouds to reach the relay, where Ezra, Sabine and Chopper leap out of the Ghost (a strategy the crew have used before).

They dive straight down towards the installation, waiting until the last moment to activate their jetpacks and slow their fall. Sabine and Ezra slide down the dish, managing to stop relatively smoothly, but Chopper comes to a more abrupt stop when he slams into a structure.

In the relay station itself, an Imperial tech only notices a slight blip on his sensors — apparently they’ve maintained cover. However, the mission soon has a new threat in the form of an arriving Imperial cruiser.

Sabine and Chopper manage to install the spike, but accidentally patch into the comm system. Ezra insists on talking to the cruiser and tries to send them away, claiming to be Commander Brom Titus … but is rebuked by the real Titus (Derek Partridge), who is in charge of the ship.

Fans will remember Titus as the former admiral who lost an Interdictor and Reklam Station, as well as his rank, during humiliating encounters with the Ghost crew.

Titus demands an explanation, but Ezra’s answer is cut short when the Imperial tech in the communication relay realigns the dish. This sends Sabine and Ezra sliding dangerously to the edge, while Chopper remains attached to a port.

Now in visual range, Ezra waves cheekily at Titus. Sabine realizes that they’ve been caught, so she prepares to blow up the relay and calls for a pickup.

“Way to go ‘Brom Titus’ ” she shouts at Ezra.

Titus unleashes a pair of deadly TIE Defenders on the Ghost and opens fire with the cruiser’s turrets, forcing Hera to take evasive action.

Kanan tells Hera to fly down into the fog that surrounds the planet’s stone towers and uses the Force to guide her through a series of precise moves in a thrilling scene. They manage to out-fly the TIEs, which crash into the towers.

On the relay’s surface, stormtroopers arrive and start shooting. Chopper tilts the dish and sends everyone sliding again. Sabine and Ezra manage to stop themselves from falling, but several troops fall screaming to their deaths.

Suddenly, a mysterious rebel B-Wing blasts through the clouds and opens fire on the cruiser. It stops near Ezra and Sabine, before Saw Gerrera opens the cargo hatch to offer them a ride.

A new Imperial communication relay forces the rebels to take action.

The extremist rebel also flings three large explosive charges onto the dish and the B-Wing flies to safety once Chopper joins them.

The Imperial installation explodes spectacularly, consuming the Imperial cruiser and bringing Titus’ sad career to an end.

“Now that’s how you deal with the Empire,” says a satisfied Saw.

Hera prepares to collect her crew members from the extremist, but a Star Destroyer blasts out of hyperspace and he escapes. Hera expresses her concern about the Saw’s influence on the teens as Part One comes to an end.

Part Two begins as we rejoin the B-Wing in lightspeed, with Saw telling his young allies about a mysterious Imperial cargo being loaded onto civilian freighter at Fayos Station.

He reminds them about how the Empire wiped out the population of Geonosis to keep some new project under wraps, but he has continued to investigate and has been led to this cargo ship. Of course, we know that this project is the Death Star.

Saw offers the teens a chance “to do something that might actually matter,” instead of simply returning to Mon Mothma. Chopper is against the idea, but Ezra and Sabine decide join Saw on his mission.

In a nice touch, Saw’s appearance is closer to his “Rogue One” look than when we last saw him in “Rebels.” Now he has the distinctive wild gray hair and greenish armor, but has not yet sustained the injuries that cost him his legs and force him to wear a pressure suit to breath.

Since we’re getting close to the movie in the timeline, it would seem that Saw will be wounded shortly before his fateful meeting with Jyn Erso on Jedha. It’s also cool that Edrio Two Tubes (David Acord), who will lead Saw’s forces in Jedha City during the events of “Rogue One,” is his co-pilot here.

They arrive at the space station and Sabine gives Chopper a new paint job — a garish yellow — in order to fit in.

They sneak onto the freighter, which blasts into hyperspace, and Ezra hears something that sounds like “singing.” Checking the cargo, Saw notes that the containers are full of construction materials for Imperial navy ships and insists that they continue their search.

When they are forced to hide from a squad of stormtroopers (an unusual sight on a civilian ship), Sabine starts to agree with Saw’s suspicions.

Chopper logs into the ship’s computer to check the cargo manifest and learns several things: there’s an Imperial shuttle in one of the holds, their destination is the uninhabited Tannis sector and one of the holding bays is restricted.

They immediately head to the bay and deal with the stormtrooper guards — one of whom makes a comedic, high-pitched shriek as he is taken down. The rebels then find a large group of prisoners in one of the containers, but Saw isn’t satisfied that this is all the Empire has to hide.

Tantalizingly, one of the freed group, Mich Matt (David Shaughnessy), recalls overhearing Imperials saying that something on board the freighter came from the Jedha system.

He says the prisoners are all specialists in power generation and energy, but didn’t want to move when the Empire approached them. So, they were kidnapped.

DT-F16 leads a squad of Death Troopers tasked with guarding the Empire’s secret.

The rebels decide to help the prisoners escape by having Chopper place them in the escape pods, so they can simply fly away when the freighter drops out of hyperspace. Saw, Sabine and Ezra then move to sabotage the engine room.

They are side-tracked when Ezra hears the singing sound again, from a nearby room. Sabine hacks in and they find a squad of Death Troopers guarding a large container.

It’s cool to see these elite units again, and since we know that they are assigned to Tarkin Initiative personnel and missions, it’s becoming increasingly apparent what the secret cargo is.

In a slick action scene, Sabine throws smoke bombs and the rebels take down the troops one by one. DT-F16 (Jennifer Hale), the Death Troopers’ commander and first we’ve heard speak clearly, manages to escape. She tells the freighter’s captain to alert Director Krennic and purge the escape pods.

Chopper manages to get the prisoners out of the pods, but they are confused at being led back to the hold.

“Just an observation, but this is not a very good rescue,” says Mich, earning an annoyed bump from the astromech.

The rebels open the container to find a huge kyber crystal, and Ezra recalls hearing the same singing when he found the crystal in his lightsaber. Since the crystals store and amplify energy, Sabine reckons this one is most likely unstable.

Saw concludes that the Empire plans to force the kidnapped techs to weaponize the crystal and says they must allow the freighter to reach its destination so they can find out exactly more. However, he apparently backs down when Sabine insists that they can’t risk the Empire getting their hands on the crystal.

The teens rush to the engine room, where Ezra uses the Force impressively in taking out the guards, but are suddenly hit by stun blasts from Saw.

“I’ve come too far to give up the quest … I must learn the secrets of my enemy,” he says, with a maniacal glint in his eye.

DT-F16 and her new squad of stormtroopers enter a cool formation as they burst into the hold that housed the crystal, before realizing that it’s gone.

Upon waking up, Sabine and Ezra confront an increasingly paranoid Saw, who has brought the crystal into the engine room to keep it away from the Empire.

The freighter drops out of hyperspace and a shadow falls over the vessel, briefly giving the impression that they’ve arrived at the Death Star. We soon see that it’s just a Star Destroyer — under the command of the unpleasant Captain Slavin (Andre Sogliuzzo) — and the rebels realize that the Empire’s secret isn’t there.

Edrio appears in the B-Wing, opening fire and distracting the Destroyer’s crew. Saw moves to rejoin his ally, apparently willing to leave the prisoners behind. Ezra confronts the extremist, who plunges the Padawan’s lightsaber into the crystal and turns it into a bomb before making his escape.

It’s clear that the “Rebels” writers are creating a contrast between Mon Mothma’s considered approach to rebellion, and the harsh, ruthless style adopted by Saw. The former’s example is more in line with Hera and Kanan’s thoughtful “parenting style,” as applied to their young allies. Sabine and Ezra’s decision to follow Saw represents a moment of teen rebellion.

DT-F16 arrives with her troopers, but orders them to abandon ship when she realizes how unstable the crystal is.

Ezra uses his lightsaber to absorb some of the crystal’s energy.

Sabine and Ezra go after the prisoners, while an unwitting Slavin decides to secure the crystal. The Destroyer draws the freighter in using its tractor beam.

Via comm, Ezra frantically orders Chopper to contact Hera for pickup and rushes to a hangar bay containing an Imperial shuttle.

DT-F16 and her squad arrive ahead of them, intent on making their own escape, but the rebels manage to take them down and get the prisoners aboard.

Sabine flies the shuttle to the other side of the Star Destroyer, which is wiped out when the crystal explodes. It’s notable that two recurring Imperial officers — Titus and Slavin — have been killed in as many episodes.

The shockwave hits the shuttle, frying their engine and apparently leaving them stranded.

Salvation comes as the Ghost appears out of hyperspace. A short time later, the prisoners decide to join the rebels and Kanan muses about what the Empire intended to do with the crystal.

“What if Saw is right,” asks Ezra ominously. “And the Empire is already on the verge of winning a war most of the Rebel Alliance doesn’t believe has already begun?”

Imperials as types of Relatives during the holidays Part 1

Mele Kalikimaka everyone! :D

Grand Admiral Thrawn

The mother who just wants this holiday gathering to go off without a hitch. He just wants everyone to get along for one day. That’s all he asks for, is one day. He will mostly stay away from the living room where the usual chaos is unraveling, and just hang by the wine bottles, downing red wine to not lose his mind. It eventually all comes to a head when Konstantine starts aggravating him and he has to be held back by Eli and Lyste before he murders the man with a broken bottle.

Agent Kallus

The sports fanatic uncle who is yelling at the game with Grint, Titus, and Slavin, and knocking stuff down on the floor. While he means well, he normally doesn’t engage in family gatherings unless there’s some type of game on that same day that has his team in it. He will mostly be snapping pictures of the kids playing in the snow, or helping them build forts.

Admiral Konstantine

The aunt who always acts like they’re better than everyone else. He calls Aresko a waste of space when he’s not in the same room, and says that Lyste isn’t going to get anywhere in life whenever the poor boy comes into the kitchen for drinks, thus making him more, and more depressed as the day progresses. Nearly gets attacked by Thrawn for acting like he’s superior and for calling Thrawn a “disgrace, and not even apart of the family.”

Commandant Aresko

The second oldest child who is home for winter break from college. He’s tired, and overworked from finals and just wants to be able to either stay in his room and sleep, or be around the little kids to watch them have a snowball fight in the front yard. Will try to avoid the visiting relatives at all costs, only to be spotted and forced into others disagreements, or forced into bone crushing hugs by aunts that he wants to stay away from because they always treat him like a baby. After the whole ordeal, he can be found asleep on the couch, wearing a knitted sweater that Tua wrestled him into because he didn’t want to wear it.

Yogar Lyste

The cousin who tries hard to be of help, but is often told to leave the area or go play in the snow. He will often be replacing drinks or food that had gotten spilled on the floor by accident, and making sure the dog doesn’t get into any chocolate. He is the one who helps the younger kids with opening the presents, and is also the one who cleans up the ripped wrapping and the occasional broken glass ornament.

Maketh Tua

The aunt who gives everyone a knitted present (even though everyone says that they’re all really uncomfortable and gives them all hives from the type of yarn she used.). She was the one to wrestle a white and blue knitted sweater onto Aresko because he didn’t wear it right away. She tries to keep Pryce away from the liquor cabinet, which doesn’t work.

Governor Pryce

The aunt who doesn’t want to be there. She will often be seen drinking with Thrawn, or trying to get into the liquor cabinet, even though Tua is trying hard to keep her from drinking until she passes out. In the family photo she will have a resting bitch face, and looking extremely uninterested.

Brom Titus (I can’t find a good picture of him on my computer. XD )

The cousin who’s the senior football star at his high school. Like Kallus, he would be yelling at the game, though is more aggressive about it than Kallus and Slavin are. He would be the one with his arm around Lyste in a headlock in the picture while grinning broadly at the camera, while Lyste is trying to get free from his grip.

Captain Slavin

The eldest child who is more of a hockey fanatic than a football fanatic. He gets hyped pretty easily at sports, but is always ready to help out if needed. He’s the first to fall asleep when the day is about to come to an end while the adults are still up and kicking. He can be found with the five year old kids sleeping on either side of him on the floor.
