Sooo 👀, now that the meta-knights found out about their cute little pink thief, how well is Kirby emotionally adjusting to them? Did he pick any favorites from the bunch or are they all lumped as one whole group of walking cuddles to him (aka each one of them turn into a cuddle bug when seeing the marshmallow orb)?

Mmmmm yes, he was a bit shy to start but I don't see Kirby having any issues warming right up to them all! It'd be a bit gradual I think, starting with that first trio - Axe, Mace and Sailor - being the OG walking cuddle sources, before his adorable-ness quickly infects Javelin, Trident (who I hc in this AU as older) and Vul too. Vul would definitely try to act unaffected until he gets caught feeding him all his tea-time sweets and coddling the little guy, after which he throws away all pretenses lol. Their various interactions would be in line with this post :)

I'd like to think that though Kirby loves everyone in his new family a whole lot, MK remains the dad figure and strikes a good balance of spoiling and disciplining Kirby (this is a metadad AU after all jdfkjdk). He'd do the best job anticipating Kirby's needs the best, and the kid would def notice and appreciate that ^_^
