toddlering yourself is like super helpful even when not little like, today i couldn’t sleep and was anxious, and i thought, if my kid couldn’t sleep what would i do? so i got myself a proper dinner (for some reason i always forget to have dinner, this is a pre bed snack in my culture fyi) and warm chamomile milk, a comfort tv show and a story and im calm and ready for bed
update: i have been doing this for the past few days, i have slept like a baby👍🏻 10/10 would recommend

★ You regress to cope with stress. ★ Regression is a coping mechanism for trauma. ★ Being little is the only way you feel safe. ★ You're an adult and prefer children's coloring books. ★ You're a teenager who likes to read picture books. ★ You find it comforting to be cared for like a child or toddler. ★ It is relaxing to drink from a baby bottle. ★ It soothes you to use a pacifier/pacy ★ You sleep with stuffed animals/stuffies. ★ You prefer watching kids' movies and shows to adult ones. ★ Kids' music calms you down. ★ You have a favorite item that you carry everywhere to comfort you. ★ You talk in a small, baby voice when regressed. ★ Want or don't want attention when regressed. ★ You like wearing pajamas with cartoon characters on them. ★ You need a nightlight to keep all of the monsters away. ★ You are a non-binary regressor. ★ You are a small, or big regressor. ★ You are clingy with one or more people when regressed. ★ All you want is to be loved like a child when being loved like an adult makes you unhappy.
It is okay if you apply to any or all of those things and more. If being little makes you feel safe and loved, it is okay if what you like is different from another person your age. Everyone regresses differently, and your way is always going to be okay! 🤗

agere hangover; things we don’t talk about enough
so i’ve noticed that there’s this thing after you regress, i call it little/agere hangover
basically after regressing (especially at night, going to bed after and waking up big typa thing) you get this feeling, kind of like a residue of regression
after positive regression i feel happy and the world is bright and pretty
after negative regression i feel EXHAUSTED, like calmed down because that’s how i manage my feelings but really tired, because littlespace intensifies every emotion
after any kind of regression i also feel very sensitive, to noise and light but also to people, i’ve noticed that if i’m with regression hangover and there’s like idk a conflict on the outside world (eg. discussion w friends, parents, etc.) i feel really sensitive, more than usual
does anyone else get this or is it just me?

★ Make a routine that you follow every day to help you feel secure.
★ Do things that make you happy and/or comfort you.
★ Make your well-being and mental health number one!
★ Say yes for what you do want, and no for what you do not want to keep you safe, happy, and comfortable.
★ Try out different ways to deal with stress, anxiety, or other no-no feelings.
★ Be creative (Color, draw, play, or write)!
★ Take time to read to calm you down whenever you feel upset.
★ Make playlists of songs that make you feel happy, with kid songs or TV Show/Movie songs that comfort you or that you love!
★ Play your favorite video games that you like, or find new ones!
★ Try out different hobbies so you can find a new one you like!
★ If you are more into smart, big kid stuff; try puzzles or board games!
