Mi obsesión por Draco Malfoy

En cada fandom tengo a un personaje favorito, no solo me encanta leer las cosas que le pasan sino que adoro estar dentro de su cabeza, saber sus pensamientos y disfrutar un poco de ellos en diferentes escenarios.

En el fandom de Harry Potter, Draco Malfoy es mi favorito. Y he tardado bastante en aprender por qué. Empecé a shipear Drarry principalmente por su dinámica y de hecho Draco me parecía indiferente al inicio, porque despues de todo empecé en el fandom gracias a las peliculas y siendo serios no hay mucho de él en ellas. Cuando leí los libros yo ya tenía una idea de él, así que no me cambiaron demasiado al Draco mental que tenía... pero los fanfics, joder, lo hicieron mi puto mundo.

Unos fics tan bien hechos que no solo hicieron que me gustara más el mundo y sus personajes, además, impulso a Draco para ser mi favorito de los favoritos.

Es fascinante, y hoy leyendo un fanfic pensé: es porque es un culero. He llegado a amarlo porque he visto el ser imperfecto que es aunque las películas hayan diluido sus malas acciones en algunos puntos de la trama, siguen ahí y su conflicto principal está presente. Y es mi favorito porque él puede cambiar, porque se redime, porque lucha pero no deja de ser él mismo.

En los fanfics puede ser sarcastico, grosero, egoísta y muchas veces un pinche culero. Pero... no es una mala persona.

Intenta redimirse del pasado, intenta superar sus traumas, su educación pasada y sus malas acciones.

Es un ser dispuesto a cambiar.

Por eso es mi favorito, su sufrimiento no es el de un ser perfecto al que le suceden cosas. Es el de un ser humano, perfecto en su imperfección, y por ello cala más hondo, y duele hasta el fondo de mi corazón.

Silly details I‘m not sure whether or not I brought this up in the code Phil au, but my thoughts are there rn so I‘ll do a quick post about it :D

On a couple of doodles I‘ve made of younger Phil, he‘s either indirectly or directly referred to as ' AE-DA ' in the standard galactic alphabet. This is sometimes paired up with the numbers 01, though not often.

AE-DA 01 stands for Antarctic Empire - Death Angel 01.

As you can guess, the Antarctic Empire doesn‘t directly exist in the way we know it and in this context it is referred to as another location of a building the Federation has. The name is mostly a cover up for Phils memories.

The usage of the Antarctic Empire memories we know was planned and conditioned from the beginning. They mainly started it by giving Phil anything that would be included in said memories with a positive light, such as the usage of the blue capes, introducing him to the snowy wastelands, etc.

This process was changed up as he grew older to fit with the later on other chosen islanders, such as his shared memories with Fit.

Death Angel is a nickname that is based on Phils wings having been chosen as this deep black color, while 01 stands for him being the 'first' experiment of the AE location. My original idea had also included another experiment, being one of Phils closest friends originally in this au- Techno. To this day though it would be highly classified information on what happened to him.

Phil when he was younger and still under care was easily excitable & very curious. He was treated fairly well most of the time as Phil loved to learn, so when he was given anything to figure out - from puzzles to toys to weapons - it made him light up instantly.

This trait of curiosity for new things was used to shape him the way the Federation wanted him to be from very early on, until deciding that they needed to separate Phil & Techno for further experimentation, which lead to Phil being relocated and later on put on the island.

However as Phil grew older, they noticed these oddities in him. This suggested the failure at integrating the failed codes properly, which later on in the au starts with the fixings I‘ve talked about quite a bit. While it seems like the fixings only started then, a while after Phil had been on the island, they have been going on for a while already - it was a big back and forth of consistent experiments & observations to eventually fix him up.

This is all I can think of rn I think, so :D
