Was just listening to the Taskmaster podcast for this last episode and enjoyed it a lot, but there were a couple things that kind of frustrated me that I may well be alone in, but just felt like talking about it any way

- the consistant tendency to assume that just because some one seems to be doing things quickly/ is doing a lot means they must have done better and then being very surprised when someone seeming to do less beat them ( specifically about Julian doing quite well in some tasks this episode but it happens quite a lot.

- discussing motives or results based on existing assumptions about contestants aka

- assuming that because they've got the idea that Sam is competitive (which I don't see personally?) that the reason he changed who he gave the ball to in the live task was a tactical move, rather than the equally possible chance that he was just helping the person who had less already.

- that because Julian is more low energy and doesn't care much about winning means that they get very shocked at him doing well, and also seem to attribute any successes to fluke rather than skill - which I thought was particularly unfair on the wayne task, and in the golf tee task where they only talk about his comments about the switches and don't even mention that he did pretty well on the balance part.

(Also I accidentally put a poll on this post and don't know how to delete it so I just put it under a cut)

You know I haven’t actually read batman comics in a while but I’m trying to remember if they like reboot and start from the beginning again or they just go: shiny thing.

Cause I’ll be honest that’s dumb.

They SHOULD do a full reboot and start all the way at the beginning to redo a lot of the WTF moments and to make things a bit smoother. Some plot lines should be dropped and some things should be changed.

I'm going to sound like a broken record, but the thing I want to see THE MOST is a recognition of Kiara's Kook Year. I want to hear more about it, I want to know more about how she made up with the boys and how it affected their relationships, and I also want to know more about what the boys did while she was gone. I personally think they would have fallen apart a little bit without Kiara around (like Jordan says, she's mostly in charge of their singular brain cell) but I want to know more of the show's take on that.

I think in terms of my dream scene... oh god. I really want Kiara to have a "do you know how special your son is" moment in front of JJ. Like, not with Luke, obviously, but that same type of sentiment. she thinks so highly of JJ and he just has no fucking idea. I want to see a scene where she's talking to someone (or even JJ himself) and he realizes that she thinks the world of him. and also, i just need her to tell that poor boy that he's destined for more than a jail cell. please. PLEASE. it's set up so well in s2 and i think they could nail a scene like that in s3.
