So apparently there's this script for a tua season 1 episode that never got made. It's about their 23th birthday.

You guys.

A couple of things that stand out:

- That cross stitch Diego had in the boiler room that was so obviously a gift from Grace was a gift for his 23th birthday.

- Also, Diego went every week to visit his mom. I'm crying

- Klaus was in jail at this time, and he accidentally killed a guy in self defense.

- Allison is there but we just see her struggling not to use her powers on every day issues.

- Also apparently Patrick was her acting coach.

- She needed it.

- Luther was pathetic and I want to cry for him bc I love him so much but God was he dumb. Also the Accident happened the day after his birthday.

- Viktor had a girlfriend, who looked so sweet at first but then he found out she was cheating on him. On his birthday. Ouch.

- Five flirted with a woman named Delores in a 1940s (I think) bar, and it was so sweet and heartbreaking. He got a little kiss for dancing with her. It was great. Get it, old man.

- Five traveled to 2012 for the commission, saw Diego leave the academy, and couldn't stop himself from shouting his brother's name. I am HEARTBROKEN

- The Handler stopped him before Diego could see him, and also we have confirmation that the Handler was fucking creepy. She kissed Five after proclaiming he was hers. Five stands still and closes his eyes. I'm... feeling things. Mostly homicidal rage.

- Viktor visits Klaus in jail, which develops into the best conversation I've ever read.

- They talk about Viktor's book. Klaus is very supportive. Reading the whole script is worth it just to read that conversation JESUS CHRIST:

- Apparently, Grace announced one day at the dinner table that Diego had had his first wet dream.

- Klaus asks Viktor if he had added that lovely little anecdote into the book.

- Viktor responded with an: yeah, I did.

- Christ almighty I know understand why Diego was so fucking angry VIKTOR HARGREEVES YOU HAVE ZERO CHILL.

- Okay seriously overall that conversation is very sweet. Best klaus-viktor interaction. 10/10

- Also I find hilarious that Regginald tried to call them all separately but obviously no one picked up, so his next thought was: "well. Better start planning my own funeral".

- The quip Klaus made in the Void when he asked Reginald "couldn't you just have called?" Is a thousand times funnier knowing that the bastard DID call, but Klaus missed it bc he was in jail.

Happy 74th Birthday founding member of The Average White Band Alan Gorrie, born July 19th 1946 in Perth. AWB was formed in 1971 by Alan and Malcolm "Molly" Duncan, with Onnie McIntyre, Hamish Stuart, Roger Ball and Robbie McIntosh joining them in the original line-up.

The band's breakthrough was a support slot at Eric Clapton's comeback concert in 1973. MCA Records released their debut album, Show Your Hand, which sold poorly. Bruce McCaskill who was Clapton's tour manager liked the band's music and agreed to manage them. He borrowed money to take them to the U.S. and to promote them. McCaskill had many contacts from his days with Clapton and managed to get Atlantic Records to sign them. 

The band relocated to New York, signed to Atlantic and released the follow-up, AWB, better known as "The White Album". This album was the first of many with renowned producer Arif Mardin, and reached number 1 in the U.S. Hot 100 chart and number 6 over here.

Tragedy struck on 23rd September 1974, when Robbie McIntosh died of a heroin overdose. Gorrie also overdosed but Cher kept him conscious until medical help arrived. McIntosh was replaced by Steve Ferrone, becoming the band's only black member.

In 1975, the single "Pick Up The Pieces" from the album AWB also hit number 1 in the U.S. chart. The track is probably their best known today. The band followed up with the LPs Cut the Cake and Soul Searching, both big sellers and yielding further Top 40 singles. Their next LP, Benny & Us, was a collaboration with soul legend Ben E. King.

After several more albums, AWB's audience and sales dwindled. Although a dalliance with disco yielded the 1980 hit Let's Go Round Again, the band split in 1982 and Gore released a solo album in 85, .called Sleepless Nights. Gorrie, Ball and McIntyre reunited in 1989 to record Aftershock, but Ball left the band shortly after its release. Eliot Lewis co-wrote with Gorrie on this album and joined the band replacing lead singer Hamish Stuart.

Average White Band have continued recording, although to no commercial success, they tour across North America with appearances in the Europe, Japan, South Africa and elsewhere. Alan Gorrie and Onnie McIntyre are the only two original members. Original sax player Molly Duncan died on 8 October 2019, shortly after it had been announced that he had been diagnosed with terminal cancer.

A wee trivia fact about The Average White Band is they are the 15th most sampled band in music history!

 Background: Well this is a tell as old as time really. In some odd way. Okay no not really. You see Tetrax Shard met Ira Whilhem under strange circumstances. Tetrax was look for a bounty on earth so he decided to lay low. Also with his advanced tech he could blend right in with the life forms of the planet. One fateful day he was at a bar when, he heard a commotion. A woman was being harassed by a couple of guys. Tetrax knowing he shouldn't get involved did so anyway. Curse his morales am I right? Anyway he ended up saving the woman and, getting her a drink. Now most human drinks don't have affects on alien life forms. Depending on the species mind you. Yet for Tetrax he was doing fine. The woman on the other had wasn't she had 4 shots of whiskey. Tetrax decided to stop her after she tried to drink another shot. She failed and spilled the whiskey on him. Which annoyed him but, made her laugh. Tetrax would get her home. She was too drunk to realize she was on a hover board. Before he left he got two things that night. A kiss on the cheek and the woman's name. Her name was Ira Whilhem. After that night they would bump into each other for odd reasons. They continued to chat and, grew closer. Tetrax while cautious about this was slowly falling for this earth woman. Ira was a part time singer and, vocal coach. The more Tetrax was getting closer too Ira, the more he realized what it all meant. Especially since he was closing in on his bounty. They had been talking for 6 months. They had grown very close. One the days away from their final goodbyes, Tetrax decided to be honest with Ira. He rented a hotel room for the two of them and, once in the room told her everything. Now she did what every woman would do in this situation. She passed out. After awhile once she calmed down everything was explained. Ira while a bit scared still felt love in her heart for the alien. So long story short, yes they did the nasty. Three days later, Tetrax had to leave. He captured his bounty. They parted ways but, since then their love for each other still stays strong. Dion was born a few years later.

 Personality: Dion is a tad stubborn. Not willing to move on a position or choice unless he must. This trait is both good and bad in combat. For his allies it can help them or harm them. For his enemies they can be in trouble or get him in the trap they set. Under his soft Dion under his stern exterior is a softie when it comes to younger kids. Becoming like a big brother or guardian for anyone he comes close to. Known to become reckless and very violent if anyone he deems close is in danger. Even being selfless and getting in harms way. Causing himself severe injuries. Loves anime mainly Digimon, Bleach, One Piece, and Gundam. Which sadly pops up in battle where he names his attacks. Also shitty puns and jokes. He loves them, especially dad jokes. 

 Appearance: His human form is dark skinned and a lean muscular. Keeping his hair in a ponytail so it doesn't get in the way. Along with some facial hair that he keeps in three lines on his chin. His training clothes are might of a durable matrial able to take a hit and able to handle his change of form. Black and grey are the primary colors. Black jogging pants with dark grey knee pads. Black and grey combat boots. Though not needed he wears a belt on his waist. A purple colored plumbers badge. Grey wrist bands. His Petrosapien form is a bit bigger. Normally he rather not wear a shirt but, if he must then it has stupid pun.

 Accessories: Other than his wristbands his grandmother gave him a silver cross necklace. He doesn't wear it unless he has an off day or going into a high risk combat situation. Markings (birthmarks, scars, etc): - Scar under his right eye caused by Drake when he spoke out against him in a heated argument. This was before Dion's hardened skin set in.

 - Blast mark on the center his chest caused by an intense laser beam.

 - Birthmark is near his junk on the inner right thigh. It looks like a the state of Florida. Relationships: He has his mother and father. Both teach their son different things. While Monica teaches her son culture and normal every day life. Tetrax teaches him combat and other methods of his trade. He tends to bump heads with them when they want him to join hero life.

 Ben Tennyson stops by to talk with him everyonce in awhile. Using Ben to vent when he feels down about making the choice or when he is forced to be a hero in some way. His connection with his grandma is much deeper. Selena just spoils him a lot. Yet also acts as a morale guide. 

 The only friends he has are Kingsley and Renne. Both who he made completely by accident. Having discovered their secret relationship early on they basically begged him to make sure he doesn't tell. Later on though they found out they have small things in common. So a friendship just kinda grew. Drake and Dion bump heads due to being polite opposites. Dion think Drake is just jealous that he has more freedom than the young head villain.

 "Look being a hero is nice but, I rather do things my way okay? I'm not fond of hero rules." Dion would explain as he put the weight down and sat up to look at his friend.

 "What do you want lizard lips?" Dion would snort looking at Drake. 

Drake would laugh a bit.

 "What by a year? Speak quick or I break your nose again and, aim to break your damn jaw."

 He snarks glaring at Drake who gave his a level look. This would turn ugly quick if Drake didn't speak quickly.

Scozzie wins Gold at AIS Silver with over 50% of the winners on Veterans Day weekend

Veterans Day arrived and for the second successive weekend in PA, a US Squash sanctioned Silver arrived in town, with AIS hosting in Bryn Mawr. Last week, MVP of the week was Nick Parente for his victory in the Bu19’s  and the question this time around was, who could succeed Nick and bring home the next Silver title. After close to 20 hours of action, Scozzie amazingly had 4 of 7 divisional champions… read on to hear who our heroes were on a memorable Veterans Day weekend.

Titles, titles and… more titles

Last weekend, we had finalists in every age bracket and by Sunday afternoon, there was some eery comparisons. Ethan L once again reached the BU13 final and again faced the #1 seed in the final. He gained valuable learning experience from last weekend’s loss and looked a more composed and confident outfit for his second opportunity at Silver success. After losing a nervy first game 11/7, Ethan never looked back. A subtle change in tactics and Ethan suddenly found his finest form of the season. He raced through through games 2 and 3 before clinching his first title of the season with a 11/9 comeback victory in Game 4.

Starting 1/1 was a huge boost for Scozzie confidence after starting 0 for 3 last weekend before Nick sealed the Bu19’s. Immediately up on court 1 was the GU13 final and we had another finalist in Anika! She had already had a successful event after gaining revenge in the quarter final against an opponent who had beaten her at the recent Regionals and then backed it up with a solid 3/1 victory in the semi’s. In the final she faced an EA classmate with an identical rating, it was a match up to close to call. Just like Ethan, Anika overcame a slow start to finally start producing her best squash in Game 3 at 1-1. Her retrieving and reflexes were at a whole new level and fought through to win 3/1 and complete the U13 clean sweep! Huge congratulations to Ethan and Anika for the victories and producing their best squash of the season in the big moments of their respective finals. Clutch closing at its finest!

2 for 2 and it couldn’t get much easier, with back to back All Scozzie finals in the BU15 and BU17 finals! Finally the coaches could put their feet up and leave the coaching to mom and dad! First up was Albert vs Matt K in the 15’s. Albert celebrated his 13 birthday at Scozzie mid week and had a great revenge victory over a tough semi final opponent who had beaten him at the end of summer. Matt K is just back from injury and played phenomenally to blow past his semi final opponent, looking at his devastating best! It was the final everyone wanted to see and the boys didn’t disappoint. Matt had a big lead in G1 before Albert comeback to sneak it 11/9. Game 2 was all Albert and at 10/6 match ball, it looked to be a 3/0 win for the birthday boy. One thing you can never underestimate with Matt, is his resilience and never say die attitude. He won the next 5 points and saved numerous match balls, only to eventual go down in 13/11 in overtime. A great weekend for both boys and gaining valuable points as they begin the early quest in U15’s after both aging up in Fall.

3/3 and then 4/4 as Tom and Nikhil concluded our Super Sunday menu match up of consecutive finals on Court 1! Boy, was it a cracking match to cap off the weekend. 5 games, great squash from both at times, scrappy squash at others… but undeniably, it was a grueling contest between two good friends and school matches putting everything on the line. Nikhil struck first, Tom bounced back to lead 2/1, Nikhil struck back. Game 5 was anyone’s guess… but just as he has done on so many prior occasions, turbulent Tom steadies the ship when it matters most! The energizer bunny finds extra gears when you least expect and after 45 mins of grueling exertion, Tom raised the energy and effort to another level in the decider. An extremely impressive performance and a well earned Silver title for young man who appears to be finding his peak form at the perfect time.

The 5th final was the biggest of the day and it was the final match concluding the AIS Silver after all the regular matches had concluded . However, there was a twist… it was tennis, not squash…. and it was doubles, not singles! The match up – recently crowned champion Anika paired with coach Lyall vs Nikhil and his Mom! By far the best match of the day, maybe the whole season, maybe even the greatest ever… Anika and Lyall came through 2-1 and were they were crowned Mixed Doubles Champions of the World (p.s thanks for carrying me Anika, your net play saved us!)

A massive well done to Tom, Albert, Anika and Ethan for winning 4 of 7 total brackets and cementing another Scozzie success story. Also to our All Scozzie finalists, who can be just as proud. Losing is never easy, especially when it comes to finals. But, the best learning experiences are gained from such scenarios and y’all will be better squash players as a result. Chins up, a huge season ahead which is only just really starting and with the winter months approaching, now is the time to shine!

5 Top 5

On top of our finalists, we had another host of Scozzie’s who achieved season best results and made their mark with top 5 finishes. Ben, Lindsay and Neil all reached semi finals, the latter was a Sunday hero with a 3/4 play off victory in one of the matches of the weekend – 5 game thriller which ended with a sublime 5th from Neil to seal it. Grant gained valuable experience from the strong U11 division and fought hard on route to 5th place. Austin completed the 5 top 5’s, with an extremely impressive victory in the U13 Consols. He lost out to Matt K in R2, but then defeated fellow Scozzie’s Omar and Sam on a destructive run to the consol championship title. Phil won 6th place and was a whisker away from 5th, losing in Consolation Final in 4 close games.

Scozzie of the Week – MVP

Albert Chen! Went into the weekend as an undefeated 13 year old after aging up on Wednesday and started his U15 career in devastating fashion. One of the countries most improved players, he climbed over 100 spots from 130+ in the ranking to 23 within 6 months!! One of the most incredible stats you’ll see, Albert is now shooting for a return back to the top 32 asap. In his current form, it’s not a question of if, but just, how quickly!!

What a weekend and another memorable chapter to remember from Scozzie Season 7. Four winners, 11 top 5 finishes and a thousand of learning lessons to take back to Scozzie and improve from. The next PA Silver will be Scozzie’s home event on December 2nd, get your entries in early and let’s perfect the preparation plans leading up to it. Between now and then, it’s JcT #3 in Boston, followed by our annual Thanksgiving Turkey Bowl on Thursday 23rd where we have over 20 Alums returning from their respective colleges to take on Scozzie’s current crop of high schoolers and coaches! A match up not to be missed, what excitement to come in the next few weeks. Stay tuned….
