I finally updated my fursona/mascot's ref sheet since Art Fight is going to be in a month! It's funny since he's last ref sheet I made for him was from 2019!!
Anyways, here's info/notes about him and NeonBrite (the series/project that he's the main character of) (all underneath the read more)!
The character of main focus is a brightly colored river otter by the name of Wispy Brighton. He is a 25-year-old convenience store clerk and overall stoner slacker and professional asshole. He lives in a giant metropolitan area called Bright Light City, known for its incredible nightlife, neon signs, clubs, bars, and many many entertainment districts, shopping centers, and whatever else that you can ever think of to do in a giant city.
He happens to work the same shift as his roommate and friend Dave Fitzgerald, a 23-year-old deadpan and reserved goat-rabbit hybrid who finds Wispy to be a loud asshole but he doesn't really care about much anyway so he puts up with him.
Wispy, strangely enough, has the ability to use interdimensional travel whenever he so desires, thus has been questioned to have ancestry of extradimensional or galactic origin but he's never cared to look further.
As known by most who know him (especially Dave and his best friend Emmett Thornton, a 25-year-old skater weasel), He goes on his interdimensional adventures more than he does his job or even more than he pays rent so he's only home a few days a week though he spends plenty of time in his home dimension wandering around the city as well.
This series/project (NeonBrite) follows Wispy as he embarks the adventure that is his life
Notes:
Due to his strange ancestry, he has a Toon Force body/abilities. This means he's able to be hurt/injured to the point of dismemberment and will be fine in a matter of seconds to a mere couple of hours and other such known cartoon logic
The convenience store that Wispy and Dave work in is called The Millenni-Yum, a basic combo of 7/11, AMPM, and the convenience store from Clerks
One of his favorite places to eat in Bright Light City is Lime Ricky's Pizza and Soda Bar and is very buddy-buddy with owner and thus gets lots of discounts/free food from there
One of Wispy's biggest crushes is Ivy Buckingham, a plant skunk who owns a flower/plant shop that's set up across the street from Wispy and Dave's apartment building. Due to his overall chaotic personality, he comes off as more crass, abrasive and immature than he would like to her. As a result he sometimes tries way too hard to impress her

The Post-Covid bride seems to be hitting the panic button with wedding functions slated to happen in July and September. However, designer stores both in Delhi and Mumbai are approaching customers with caution. Designer Falguni Shane Peacock whose stores opened in both cities observe that their staff has been seeing clients mostly on an appointment basis. “We are not allowing trials at the store. We see two walk-ins each day into our stores. Brides along with their family have been coming in, but major buying isn’t happening,” says Falguni, who’s offering 10 to 15 per cent discount on ready-to-wear pieces like the anarkalis.
Designer Rahul Mishra has been able to offer some discount on the pieces. “Currently, only our New Delhi flagship store is open, in a partial capacity where our retail team is available for virtual and personal appointments. We’ve been observing a large influx of queries from different parts of the world,” says Rahul who observes that after the lockdown has been eased up, the sales have begun to pick up.
Designer Rimple Narula whose store in Defence Colony opened a week ago has been addressing bridal queries through virtual appointments of her local and NRI clients. “Brides are worried about their weddings in the coming months. They have become bridezillas. Wedding function has been edited to a group of 40 and people are likely to do big functions once the vaccination is out. I allow two clients at a time in different areas of the store,” shares Rimple.
Designer Payal Singhal is offering 30% discount at her store in Mumbai
In Mumbai, designer Payal Singhal’s Altamount Road and Khar stores opened on Friday last week. “I’m offering a discount of 30% and a free washable reversible mask and matching pouch free with any garment purchase,” says she.

Designer Namrata Joshipura who’s currently focusing on e-commerce is also offering discounts. “In any case brands go on sale in June but since stores were closed, there’s a discount on fresh stock too as opposed to End of Season Sale (EOSS),” says Namrata, who’s been shipping merchandise to customers in Pune and Gurgaon as borders are now opened.
Designer Amit Aggarwal too is currently welcoming clients only by appointments.”Brides are enquiring for lightweight but still grand-looking skirt-lehengas and saris for more intimate weddings,” says he.
Designer Priyanka Modi of AMPM observes that post lockdown there has been a staggering 90% drop in walk-ins. “In our conventionally busiest store at Khan Market, we’re seeing a couple of customers come in everyday. In the upcoming weeks, we are going to be selling select pieces from our previous collections at special prices,” shares Priyanka.
Palak Shah, CEO and Founder, Ekaya Banaras shares that they have been receiving many queries, mostly for saris, and there have been store walk-ins, two to three per day. “At the moment Delhi is seeing more walk-ins, but of course we receive daily updates from all stores,” says Shah.
Good Earth is currently offering free shipping on all domestic orders on their web boutique as well as in stores. “Customers are walking in and we are taking all the necessary precautions for their safety as well as of our teams,” shares a brand spokesperson.

Bitcoin ATM Firm Expands To New Locations In The US
LibertyX, the company responsible for placing the first Bitcoin (BTC) ATM in the US,
will expand its operation by adding 90 new machines to its network. The announcement comes as a part of a partnership with DesertATM, an independent ATM operator. According to the announcement, LibertyX’s software works on traditional, cash-dispensing ATM machines, especially those manufactured by Genmega. Once the software is successfully loaded onto the machine, users can purchase Bitcoin (BTC) using a debit card or withdraw cash. As of today, Desert ATM has 250 ATMs machines throughout Arizona and Nevada, growing its current offer to 340 machines. New locations will include AMPM, ARCO and Chevron gas stations and Family Dollar retail stores. According to Dan Laitala,
owner of Desert ATM:
I download the software from the Genmega website and go around to my machines and upload the latest version… Not all Genmegas have LibertyX. We do some extra programming, so the machine can talk to the banks and the transactions go through.
LibertyX and Genmega teamed up back in November 2018, and began on-boarding ATM operations in 2019. This alliance had as a primary goal to enable consumers to use their debit cards to purchase Bitcoin (BTC) at any enabled ATM, with the simplicity that any current owner of a Genmega machine could simply update the software to add the feature to their device without any upfront cost or new hardware. Had someone ask if I knew of a theme or way to add timestamps to posts.
Well yes - but it took some digging and some basic HTML editing.
If you go to my blog now - the full blog http://sarcasmsuitsme.tumblr.com you can see each and every post has a timestamp. I used military time 24 hour clock with minutes for mine.
I can give you that info here:
To do this go to your full blog (yoururl.tumblr.com) - EDIT THEME In the upper right corner
Edit HTML - in my case it’s under Custom Theme
This will open the Edit HTML window.
From here you can do CTRL+F to open the find & replace window or use the gear at the top left to get to the same feature in a drop down option.
To add date & time stamp - using military time - like I have on mine - in the FIND box type: {PostID}
This will bring you to the first instance of this.
*which will look like this: <article class="post-photo" id="{PostID}">
Hit enter and then paste in this code:
{block:Date} {MonthNumberWithZero} / {DayOfMonthWithZero} / {ShortYear} --- {24HourWithZero}:{Minutes} {/block:Date}
Click the down arrow on the find box to find the next instance:
