Once when I was like 14 I was at my friend's place, and his family had a 2 y/o boxer bitch who went bonkers first time I met her.

And my friend asked if I was on my period. My 14 year old self was so freaked out about why this gay boy wanted to know about whether I was on my period, but I wasn't (or so, I thought). He then explained that the dog usually reacts to that sort of thing.

(When I came home I realized my period had just started. I was too embarrassed to ever tell him his dog was correct)

rewatching house led to me infodumping at my mother about ao3 and gen z purity culture and honestly . if she didn't want these things to happen to her she shouldn't have had children with a man so incredibly neurodivergent

I made it eight years suppressing my period by skipping the placebo on my birth control and taking the active pills continuously (doctor said I could), but N���s Hormonal Frequencies are stronger than the synthetic hormones or whatever’s in my pills and my body has decided that, drugs be damned, it WILL have a period when she does

I’m not usually one that cares about ambient noises from the neighbors but I cannot locate the source of this weird alarm/ring tone and it has turned my ready-for-bed brain into a completely awake brain

like it isn’t even loud or anything, it just keeps repeating the same tone with 4 notes over and over again, and I can’t figure out where it’s coming from. it’s like it just exists in my reality with no source.

It's my own personal hc that a Jedi can sense when theyve conceived/become pregnant if they're concentrating enough, not in the "it's a LIFE that has AUTONOMY because it's a PERSON" sense but relying strictly on the scientific understanding of like. It's alive. The same way any Jedi would be able to detect plant life around them if they concentrate or are meditating bc that stuff is alive too. And from sheer proximity I think it would be hard to miss lmao. But obv that wouldnt impact their feelings on being pregnant, whatever they may be, even if they do sense it you know. I think reproductive care is totally accessible within the temple, and I don't think they're torn up about being able to feel and then not being able to feel the zygote/embryo/fetus/what have you after terminating the pregnancy.

So, my sense of smell has been 98% gone since having c*vid back in January. I’m home alone, it is very late, and all the fire alarms in the house just decided to go off simultaneously. I didn’t see anything that might help me figure out what set them off and I can’t smell anything, so that doesn’t help. After about two minutes of searching the house amidst blaring alarms, they all simultaneously stopped… I’m being pranked by an arsonist’s ghost.
