Never been so disrespected in my life. I was chilling in my dirt house because I got stuck outside and an Enderman straight up stole my wall. He took my dirt and there were skeletons out there! They turned my ass into a pincushion and now all my shit is down in a canyon.

Anyway, shoutout to TCH for committing to having the mortal world change by 15 years when MC was away somewhere time moves differently, as bittersweet as that scene was to play. I know Blades wasn't brave enough to do that more long-term after MC spent a considerable part of book 2 realm-hopping to close the rifts.

And I know it's much easier for TCH to do because the story ended there anyway and it's not like MC was going to stay there anyway, but I keep thinking about the theories for Blades 2 in which MC was gonna come back from closing the rifts and see that a long time had passed and maybe the king wasn't even alive anymore and how the story didn't even try to say that no time had passed because MC was getting better at realmwalking or anything and that just makes me more impressed with the TCH ending.

#only reason I'm glad Blades 2 didn't do that is because I didn't want Kade to grow old without MC #but then again if I'd had it my way he would've been with the party instead of left behind #playchoices #the cursed heart #choices tch #blades of light and shadow

finished my crochet cup holder and sewed up lunas ears, head and sewed them together and have started on crocheting a cactus which is pretty damn good considering i spent nearly all of saturday sleeping to recover from work and the family emergency happening rn

#im okay my grandad is being taken to hospital rn #theyve been working on his heart (hes had a triple bypass and a stent that failed ((think the surgery was botched)) but yeah doctors keeping #and eye on him and found his heart tried to fail twice this week and only the meds stopped it) so hes being taken the the hospital #they live on the other island so my uncle is driving 2 hrs in to look after my grandmother (who is who i actually assumed was sick when the #call came through because shes got a whole heap of problems like alzheimers and parkinsons)#but yeah my dad is gonna have to organize a flight down and i know that despite being short of breath my grandad was able #to give dad a call and let him know what was happening so hes not in a really bad state #but. yeah this is stressful! stressful thing to happen on whats supposed to be a holiday and i hope he just needs to stay overnight #because im coming down next month and i want him to be there. i want to see him. i want to see both of them and sleep in the side room #in the spare bed thats tucked just the way my grandma makes it #and have mashed potatoes and play board games and just. be around them #i know they dont have long left and i havent had to grieve a family member in my life before #i want them around just a bit more. just a little longer

honest to god looking at people talk about the ganondorf fight im surprised i did so well as someone who could not Flurry Rush or Perfect Parry for shit

#totk spoilers #esp in the notes as i continue to ramble ->#idk if anyways still looking for tips for the fight but BASICALLY what i had going on was #going in i had 15 hearts and 3 of them were gloom locked bc alas i was not perfect at the prefight #and 4 gloom recovery foods (one 9 recov. two 6s and one 3) and i had to basically make it work off that bc i couldnt head out to make more #honest 2 god i would make more to brute force it easier #round 1 i basically forced myself to learn the timing to perfect parry the sword (never got the spear or bat down well) so i could get in #damage that way and then shoot his ass in the head with gidbo fused arrows (i had about 30 left from the quest) you wanna use as little #gidbos in this phase so u can use them to rush thru phase 2 where i just unloaded them all into him #next phase u can hit back all his attacks which is great because good lird i could not slash him if i wanted to #it would usually go he attacks with his sword -> he attacks with the mega gloom that actually steals hearts instead of locking them. knock #back these -> he attacks u with his sword -> repeat #ive heard people say they went through like 5 shields in this part i made it through using only 2 #UM. try to get through phase 1 without using any of ur gloom food but if u make a shit ton then u should be good i had to work w/ what i ha #good game! they stole my fuckin clothes at the end again <- i know this is so u can see links arm no matter what u were wearing into the #fight but I WAS WEARING THE CLIMBING GEAR IT WAS ALREADY AN ARMS OUT KINDA LOOK !!#ashen.rambles

#also: finally got a confirmation that Inga is in fact dyslexic #and that all this shit happened when Sasha finally found a book that was suitable for her #in his own words that's what best friends do: help each other and find ways to enjoy things for one another #and I'm crying T-T because they didn't deserve this shit. they deserved to just live and go to mcdonalds and libraries and stuff.#and the fact that a huge amount of guilt Sasha has is connected to what happened to his bff Inga because of him???#like he legitimately wanted to end his life after that happened but he had 'a reason' to stay #and that reason is heavily implied to be Inga #AND NOW I FEEL THINGS-#and like- he has a LOT of reasons to feel guilty about it!#1) Inga had to endure the ink poisoning process because of him #2) Inga had risk her life and bind herself to what I can only call a 'magic trauma university'#(or otherwise 'pretty accurate depiction of what philology students in russian universities go through')#3) Inga had to be tested (like him) by the shitty council AND IT WAS NOT A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE #4) When Sasha got fed up with the council's lies and basically fell in love with a book character he started keeping things away from Inga #and even left her alone on the New Year's Eve that they were supposed to spend together #(action that arguably broke Inga's heart because we see everyone celebrating NY with their friends/families/lovers except for her:#she walks alone in the cold looking into her phone and crying - THAT WAS MESSED UP)#which caused her to wonder why her best friend started behaving like this because he never tried to do sth that will hurt her feelings #(and considering to what lengths he went just to find that damn book it's no wonder why she loves him so much)#and she got worried. and everyone judged her for trying to find him.#except for one person. that person happened to be the one who helped her find Sasha.#and this person also died in the process because went there. now imagine if Inga decided to go to that place instead of him.#imagine amount of guilt Sasha felt after that. yes he feels guilty enough because his friend died.#but imagine how much worse it would be if it was his best friend Inga who was just worried for him!#actually that's the worst thing that happened to them.#and the worst thing about it is that Sasha still can't accept Inga's unconditional love for him because he feels like he doesn't deserve it #but she continues to express her love anyway #and that's the reason why their emotional moments are while rare are still the most earnest raw and personal #sorry it turned into a rant #I am emotional today

I unpacked A Box. I'm trying out this new thing called unpacking One Box per day. So that I can finally get all this shit unpacked. I moved here a YEAR ago and im only making an effort to unpack now.

#body horror tw #i NEED to sprint into the first final dungeon expedition this instant i need to see the shuffling horror. it has been years since i fought--#--it and i want 2 see if there is anything said abt it being a shambler which has the Meat of the ancestral home growing upon--#--it like an infection. like a rogue animal of the void which has been captured and twisted up by the hearts worshippers #i just love love the wandering bosses so much like they are all such a perfect marriage of character design and gameplay. mwah mwah <3 #second image of a shambler tentacle. it spawns two of those upon encountering it and throughout the fight and they have a single--#--move called 'clapperclaw' (will admit that i usually just call them clapperclaws rather than shambler tentacles lol) that gives it huge--#--buffs which stack up w each successful hit so they turn into a very godawful problem if u do not deal w them right away. the real menaces-#--of the shambler fight #OHH i mentioned the shuffling horror now i need to talk abt ingame nesdin again. brought him along to my first real attempt at the first--#--final dunegon expedition years ago and ended up having 2 retreat during the boss fight bc my arbalest got killed real early into it and--#--my vestal died of a heart attack (due to a crit? i think) so the only guys i had left were nesdin (was virtuous i think?) and--#--mortemer the leper and it was mortemer who died on the expedition retreat. it was very dramatic and also the moment that solidified--#--nesdin as a real Character in my head. hed been a very solid guy to take on expeditions beforehand but i started spinning him around--#--in my head after that lol #^ i remember very clearly going oh FUCK and retreating the instant nesdin hit deaths door after the vestals death. maybe mortemer was--#--virtuous as well ? i remember having this incredibly impossible belief that they could tough it out together bc nesdin had the virtue--#--that had him occasionally heal himself and mortemer had his own self heal but i think the first deaths door check on him had me--#--freak out and retreat. sat at my desk w my eyes closed for like a minute b4 abandoning the expedition all together begging 4--#--nesdin to be the one to survive lol

I love Buffalo. I'm sorry to see my city make international news because of domestic, racially-motivated terrorism. I'm sad that this happened here. I can't stand that this happens *anywhere*.

this domestic terrorist attack reflects so much endemic to our country today (white supremacy, guns, Internet radicalization, the increasing rural/city divide, segregation in our cities...)-

it overwhelms

bisan's live video on her 2nd acc is piercing my heart

she started off expressing (in arabic) how sick she is of the constant sharing, photographing, capturing, having to speak english and how she wants to speak in her native tongue instead.

she explained that the leaflets that were dropped again are ordering evacuation to rafah so they are forced into the sinai, and how impossible it is for over 2 million people to go to an area that's only 151 square km, so many have no choice but to stay in khan younis. they are trapped and have no international passports. rafah is the southernmost point of palestine after khan younis and she said - this part in english - "after rafah there is no more palestine. if we are forced into rafah there is no more palestine."

someone asked her if she has eaten and whether they have any food, her response was no, not at all; one loaf of bread has to be divided between everyone in her tent.

the video kept freezing because of how bad the internet service is in gaza right now so i lost bits and pieces, but at some point an older woman joined the live, a journalist outside of the country. it's unclear whether they knew each other previously, but a lot of warmth was exchanged. the woman got tears out of bisan when she told her "dont listen to people who tell you to be strong, i don't want you to be strong, i want you to be you. if you are sad i want to know, if you are happy i want to know." she explained that she tried entering rafah but the occupation refuses to let any foreign journalists in anymore.

after the woman left, bisan talked about her life before october. she said her life was beautiful and fruitful and any source of strife was solely on israeli hands; namely her inability to travel or pursue placements for her education outside of palestine. other than that she had nothing to complain about. if im able to watch the video after it ends, i will add any pieces i missed

I had like such a good day until about 7 o'clock and the anxiety hit me like a freight train

#im also so close to going back to the hospital money be damned #because im like ao sure theres something wrong with my heart or lungs #like the bulk of it is anxiety and the throat issue but all of it??#every so often ill get a pain in my chest sometimes on one side sometimes the other #its not horrofoc but its noticeable like a prick #sometimes when i breath deeply sometimes just random #im at my wits end im so tired im so scared im so stressed i dont have #any more sick or vacation days and its starting to affect my work #im so lethargic i cant eat food normally the only food i can sometimes bring myself to eat keeps making me sick #and i keep having panic attacks so bad i have to leave the floor to compose myself. weekends are so stressful because thats extra time im #just home by myself im so scared and so stressed and so mad #but at the same time im so emotionless. how can you be terriefied but apathetic at the same time #i took a three hour drive earlier and the only thing that got me back home #was i started to feel groggy and thats not safe #the other day i left work early in a panic and went for a drive but had to stop in a parking lot and take a nap #because i very nearly ran off the road not an exaggeration those bumps on the side of the road there for a reason #theres also the change the bulk of it is gastro related and if so idk if i can make it another 2 weeks for my appt

This is inspiration from a mini series i read a few days ago by user @fumekara. It was so good, I love me some angst to hurt/comfort.

But i also wrote this from personal experience too, my bad yall i treat this like my own personal diary

Anyway, enjoy!

Satoru Gojo

He was pissed. He doesn’t typically show it much, but when he does, he gets kind of scary. He’s more quiet, his voice gets deeper, and his whole body language just shifts. So when the higher-ups piss him off after a very long meeting, the last thing he needs is someone to pounce on him. He usually loves it when you greet him at the door when you’re home for work. But today, he just wanted to strip off his clothes and hop into bed.

Gojo huffs as he leaves the elevator of your shared apartment and grabs his keys from his pocket to unlock the door. As he opens the door, he sees you in the kitchen grabbing ingredients for dinner. “Hi baby,” You softly greeted him. “Hey.” was all he said back. It confused you for a second because he’s never greeted you like that before.

“Is everything okay?” You walk up to him to try to kiss him on his cheek. “God- Y/n, please.” He grumbled, walking right past you and placing his briefcase on the table. “I’m just trying to help,” you defended, walking up to take his coat off for him. “At least let me take your coat-” That’s when he snapped. Something he’s never done to you before. “Y/n, I fuckin’ got it! Geez, you’re so fucking clingy!” He aggressively shrugged your hands off his shoulder. It scared you a bit, to see him so angry at you. You were confused, all you wanted to do was make him feel better. Were you really that clingy?

“I-I’m sorry.” your voice came out shaky and defeated. Hearing how small your voice sounded in response to him lashing out made Satoru’s heart shatter into thousands of pieces. He wanted to turn around and apologize, but the words weren’t coming out. By the time he turned to face you, Your back was already facing him, preparing dinner for the both of you as tears rolled down your face.

Suguru Geto

It was 2 weeks after Suguru deflected. 2 weeks since he committed mass murder in that village. 2 weeks since he left Satoru, Shoko, and the others. It was weighing on him and you could tell. Nothing but him, his two adopted girls, a few people who believed in his cause, and you.

You promised him you would go wherever he would go, and he was so grateful for it. He loves you deeply and would do anything for you. But some days just threw everything on him at one time, today was one of those days. Monkeys non-sorcerers begging him to exercise curses left and right, Nanako and Mimiko begging him to take them shopping, missing payments from those begging for his service. It was all too much. And the guilt was eating away at him.

He genuinely wasn’t paying attention to what you were saying and it annoyed him how much talking you were doing in his ear at that moment. You were both sitting outside watching the two girls play in the yard. “Y/n,” He interrupted you. “Don’t you have something better to do than to just bother me?” He sighed sounding so condescending. “What do you mean?”

“Must you always cling to me? Isn’t there something else you can do besides following me everywhere I go, at all times of the day?!” His voice raised a bit as if he was talking to a non-sorcerer. “I didn’t realize I was. I was only trying to tell you about what me and the girls did today,” You defended. “You’re always so busy, I rarely get to see you anymore.”

“Yeah, because you’re always underneath me. Sometimes-” He stopped mid-sentence because of the saddened look on your face. His eyes softened a bit. “Sometimes I just need my space.” He sighed. You only nodded and started to walk back inside. “Ok, I understand.” Your voice cracked. Leaving Suguru alone to think about what he had just said to you. As if he didn’t feel guilt then, he definitely feels guilt now.

Toji Fushiguro

Toji was a bit frustrated today. He was cheated out of his money after doing a side job, the bet he placed on the race he kept constantly telling you about fell through, leaving him with zero, and to top it all off, the child support payment was coming up. You being an empath and knowing your boyfriend so well, you wanted to help him any way you could.

He was sitting in the chair by the island in the kitchen with his fingers combing through his hair. He was on the phone with multiple people at once, trying to solve his money issues. “Shiu, you guaranteed me way more money than this! How am I supposed to cover this months child support with this amount?!” You walked up to where he was, wondering what all the commotion was about. “Baby?” You softly called out. You could hear Shiu on the other line trying to calm him down and explain the situation.

“That sounds like a bunch of bull and you know it Shiu, you better have my money by next week thursday or else I’m taking it myself.” He grumbled and hung up the phone. “Baby,” You gently placed a hand on his broad shoulder.

“What, Y/n.” He sternly said. You merely blinked a few times. “I was just checking to see if you were okay. What’s with the attitude?”

“I’m fuckin’ frustrated okay? Please leave. You aren’t helping right now.” He waved you off.

“I barely did anything, I just wanted to know if you needed help with anything-”

“Jesus, I said enough! I don’t need your help. Fuck, you’re so clingy.” His voice booming caused you to remove your hand from his shoulder in fear. Seeing your reaction caused him to think about what he said and how he said it. The last think he wanted to do was scare you. He wanted you to feel safe around him. But with the way you jumped at how he raised his voice, it saddened him a bit.

“Y/n, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean-” He was cut off by the sound of his child wailing in the background. “I’ll take care of it.” You said in the smallest voice, not even leaving him time to protest against it and apologize.
