Hey there! Firstly, big big fan of your art and headcanons, ty for your cool and awesome big brain ❤️ Now that you’ve seen the movie, I’m wondering what your thoughts are on Shimo??? I’ve just seen impressions of her so scattered. (I saw your post on how she will NOT be treated as a pet, and I so appreciate that.)
I will say, for me the ‘old gal’ vibes are so strong and I’m here for it. Like when Goji blasts his atomic breath into the sky at the end and she’s looking at it with such awe and her cute super gummy smile, it reminds me of when a grandma gets shown some common piece of technology that the rest of us are used to, but she just can’t heckin believe it because she lives in a damn cave??? I loved that.
hi hi! omg u think i have a big brain...... compliment of the century.... i must have ppl fooled bcuz i am viscerally dumb most of the time
anywAYS. gxk spoilers below (and a lot of ranting)
shimo my beloved💙 i appreciate most interpretations of her, besides people who are just straight up caling her a dog. and like, not in the way i’d compare goji to a cat? for me it's more mannerisms based, so for goji my main expression/mannerism inspirations are cats, wolves, and komodo dragons (obviously), and for mosu it's owls and cats, with a crumb of horses because of their 'ear' communication so i use that with her antennae.
sorry for tangent but anyways. i dont need someone barking at me that i call goji a cat/draw him acting like a cat so calling shimo ‘kong’s pet dog’ is fine. i think its the difference between goji having the personality i characterize him with + mannerisms inspired by other animals, vs. him having no personality besides Being A Cat. like, he’s a dumbfuck but he’s clearly an intelligent creature capable of communication and understanding. i make a lot of shitposts but truly in my personal hc i’d never reduce him to ‘pet level intelligence’
i think i’m extra touchy about people calling her ‘kong’s pet’ because like. dawg. did you watch the movie? she was JUST freed from being skar’s slave/beast of burden/abused pet whatever you wanna call it. why would you want her to become another creature’s pet again?(obviously minus the abuse) idk mannn it just feels…. reductive somehow. she clearly shows intelligence and understanding when she realizes what’s happening during the fight and helps to kill skar. i just refuse to reduce her entire character to kong’s pet status bcuz that makes me uncomfortable asf.
as a disclaimer, you’re welcome to have whatever hc you enjoy. me expressing my personal thoughts on the matter isn’t an attack on anyone who characterizes her that way, i’m just not interested in engaging with it in the slightest.
DOUBLE ANYWAYS i just needed to get that outta my system. TIME FOR CUTE FUN IDEAS YAHOOO
i’m seeing mixed info about her age so idk where she actually sits there?? i remember seeing something like she’s the First Titan but i also think the novelization of the movie said she’s only 3 million years old?? when im p sure they’ve said goji is 250+ million years old so…. i have no clue there lol. personally she feels less jaded and grumpy than goji does to me so my brain automatically sees her as similar or younger bcuz of my Grumpy Old Man bias.
i’m still workin out my ideas for her but based on how the movie ends i like to think she helps kong with relocating the apes to a better home, and they mostly live in HE. her n kong venture up for surface dates bcuz she gets what she fucking deserves 💙
goji nearly has an aneurysm the first time they come up, since mosu literally takes them for a lil tour of monster island. bro standing there clenching his fist like the arthur meme, he begrudgingly knows she’s right and eventually he gets used to it
i got more ideas cookin for her but this post is already too damn long cuz of my ranting time to stfu
SHIMO BEST GIRL 10/10

I know how you’ve talked about, or at least shown, that Vionn, Lavender, Mauve, Sun, Ren and Ironwood (I think?) are trans/genderqueer, but are there other genderqueer characters in AZRE?
Yes, there's a few more actually!
Yang is actually nonbinary, and goes by she/her or they/them.
Professor Cassandra Melina, the Law Professor in Beacon, is genderfluid and goes entirely by they/them.
Chau Nguyen, Giang and Harriet's spouse, is nonbinary and goes exclusively by they/them.
Jacob Reed, Eirian's uncle on her mother's side, is a trans man who goes by he/him.
May Marigold is kept in AZRE as Robyn's wife, and is still a trans woman who goes by she/her.
Tyrian Callows is nonbinary who goes by they/them.
Ozma as a living person was agender who went by any pronouns.
For the next generation, we have:
Liserian (Tyrian clone/Nuts&Volts) who's nonbinary (they/them or he/him)
Sun Guiying (Strawbana), who's genderfluid (any pronouns)
Mosu Nemeós (Adam/Zanthus) is cis but very much GNC.
Xiaolong Yinyue (Golden Fleece), is a trans man (he/him or they/them).
That's all the solid ones right now. There might be more in the future with developing later characters!

i Love gord having to explain his living situation when ben is his house
im imagining the other borrower as like.. darnld, bc hes so easily spooked. or maybe tmmy.
one way it could happen is: gord and other borrower are out scavenging together. gord hasn't told Ben about the new guy. Ben, being nocturnal, wanders into the kitchen, calling out for his mouseman. The other borrower spooks and hides, but gord doesn't, he's too used to ben and his instincts don't take over. So the other borrower sees it when Ben starts talking to gord like they know each other.
Ben asks if gord wants to "come inside". Gord figures the other borrower has run away at this point, so he sighs and says yes, crawling into bens hand. Queue other borrower seeing gord willingly crawl into bens shark tooth maw and be swallowed alive.
At this point, one of two things happen: they either run, desperately trying to get away and attracting bens attention, or they jump out of hiding to confront ben, demanding he spit gord out, not ready to see their new friend die.
Expect Ben just figures, "oh, another mouseman? gord should talk to him." And snatches up the other borrower to swallow them.
Gord has to calm down his new friend, who's terrified out of their mind, babbling with panic. Meanwhile, Ben, feeling pleasantly full, flops down for a nap, leaving the two of them stuck in there until he wakes up.
i was thinkin' about this last night, usually picturing potion man, yeah! i like the idea of the two canon regular human characters being the borrowers in this, heh. i figure benb would catch the movement out the corner of his eye and just instinctively grab drnld, and then "oh shit you're not a mouse, you're a mosueman." and then gord's like "What's happening?" "saw movement. grabbed it. it's another lil' dude like you. darker complexion though." "Oh fuck- that's Drnld! Lemme out so I can talk to him!" "'kay." potion boy is obvs absolutely terrified when he's grabbed... but then he's just excuse me but the fuck is happening when this bean that is now clearly NOT a bean opens its hellmouth and... the other borrower he just swallowed is crawling out of it and trying to talk to him. acting like there's nothing wrong or weird at all about the fact that he just came out of a massive predator's mouth.

haemosu hummed and chuckled softly. "really can't say no to you ever." he teased before pulling away to bring korain's bags to the bedroom and hung up the stuff in the closet. "you promise to be a good boy and not distract me?" he asked with a hum as he wrapped his arms around korain's waist to pull him close.
“i know” korain snickered softly as he followed after his boyfriend, his laugh sounding out as he watched mosu start to unpack. “i can do that.” he teased, though really it wasn’t much of a two man job, and mosu already had it covered. “only when you’re working.” ko said with a grin as he wrapped around mosu and let his head fall to rest on the others shoulder. “depending on how long you’re working.” he added on though he was joking. he did pretty well as long as he was near the god, it was distance that he hates. “do you do anything today or do you have the night?”

my neighbor torino
Notes: My Neighbor Totoro/Princess Mononoke AU? Fusion? It’s one of those. Loosely incorporates Shintoism. Tengu!Sorahiko, except it’s a loose interpretation of tengu (rather than a basic winged demon, I decided 天狗 should be taken literally. So. Winged wolf tengu. [I was talked down from winged puppy, a la The Last Guardian design]).
*Because Nana has no Sorahiko to help balance the work and give her perspective, Nana is swayed by Toshinori to keep Kotarou.
**Kotarou refers to Sorahiko as Puppy-san at first because he’s still babey and hasn’t determined the difference between wolf and puppy yet.
Word count: 1,440
//
The first time Shimura Kotarou runs off into Mount Torinomune’s surrounding forest, his solo expedition leads him to bump into a big fluffy tail, lazily stirring the forest floor. It is like moonlight, silver and pretty.
After a long week of tidying their new home, Toshi-nii had agreed to let Kotarou explore Mosu Village alone. Toshi-nii is very tired and wants to nap. Kotarou understands, and is generously taking himself out of the house so he doesn’t annoy Toshi-nii. Mosu Village is small and safe; it sits on the side of Mount Torinomune, just off the highway. Unlike Musutafu, the only things surrounding Mosu are the woods: giant, mossy, and inviting.
The meadow is easy to run through; the scattered boundary of the forest less so. Even though the trees at the edge are thinner, their roots breach the surface of the soil like stumbling blocks.
He doesn’t mean to move beyond sight of Mosu Village, but this makes it all worth it.
The tail is soft to the touch, and it flicks upward into Kotarou’s face when he buries his hands in it, giggling to himself.
When Kotarou looks up, in addition to more fluffy fur, he sees a mass of pale brown feathers. Wings, tucked close, not a crooked feather out of place. Kotarou considers his options and scrambles to climb in-between the wings; he’s careful not to step on the tail.
There is a space for him. He crawls to it, belly flat, and settles there, arms cushioning his chin. Kotarou rises and falls in a steady fashion. The sleeping animal radiates warmth, like it’s been absorbing sunlight all day. Abruptly, Kotarou yawns.
Two things move. Upon squinting, Kotarou understands that they are triangular ears.
“Cat?” he wonders out loud, still sleepy.
The ears prick upright. Slowly, with great care, there is movement at the front. And Kotarou sees the pointed muzzle, the square black nose, the piercing pale brown eye of a—
“Dog!” Kotarou squeaks, propping himself up on his elbows. “Puppy!”
Kaa-chan always said they couldn’t have a puppy. The apartment was too small, and Kotarou was too big. Where would the puppy play, she had asked Kotarou lightly. Puppies needed big outdoor spaces.
This was a big outdoor space. Toshi-nii said it himself!
The puppy’s shoulders roll as it stands; Kotarou clings to handfuls of fur, gleeful. The ears flatten back, and the puppy keeps trying to turn its head to look at him. Oh, but he has to be polite! Whenever kaa-chan took him to the dog park, he had to be very quiet and politely introduce himself to the dogs.
“Oh no,” he says, almost to himself. Then, a little louder, Kotarou says, meekly, “Puppy-san, I am very sorry to bother you. May I please come down?”
The puppy freezes. But it actually lowers itself down and rolls its shoulders again, and Kotarou slides to the ground.
Then the puppy turns, wicked fast, and Kotarou is staring at the biggest puppy in his life. He wants so badly to play with it.
“Hello!” he yells, too excited at first. Seeing the ears flick back again, Kotarou winces and tries in a softer tone, “Hi! My name is Shimura Kotarou, and I would like to play with you!”
Kotarou sticks out his hands, palms up, and he stares beseechingly up.
“Please play,” he begs under his breath.
The pause is enough to worry Kotarou; the puppy is unblinking, staring at his outstretched hands like it doesn’t know what to do with them. Usually, the dogs sniffed his hands and maybe even licked them. He wonders how big this dog’s tongue would be.
Then there is a soft rumble, like the mountain’s pebbles vibrate in harmony. Very delicately, the puppy bends its head and presses a cold damp nose against Kotarou’s shirt. It pushes him back a step, then pulls away, watching.
He thinks that means yes. The other dogs barked and showed their teeth at him if they didn’t like him. But Kotarou doesn’t know if he can play fetch with a giant puppy; he doesn’t have super-strength.
Some dogs liked to keep walking. Maybe he could talk and walk with the puppy all the way back home.
The puppy rumbles again. Kotarou realizes he’s just said his thoughts aloud, and beams at this success in communication.
“Let’s go then!” he chirps brightly. “Um, um…” Kotarou spins in a circle; all the trees look the same. Which way is home?
There is a sound like a great big sigh. He’s amazed to find the source of it from the puppy, who is gazing at the sky like he wants to howl.
“I live in Mosu Village with my Toshi-nii,” Kotarou informs the puppy. “He said that he’ll always find me if I call out. Oh! I can call out!”
He inhales deep, like Toshi-nii taught him.
Rather hurriedly, the puppy bumps his nose against Kotarou’s chest. Kotarou is startled out of the scream, and then he’s trying to keep his footing as the puppy continues to shove him in one direction.
“You know where Mosu Village is?” he asks, delighted.
The puppy grunts.
“You understand me!”
It grunts again. Kotarou gets the message, and starts walking of his volition to the way home. He also continues chattering.
“Kaa-chan said that animals have different languages, and that they don’t really understand our language, they just learn to connect sounds with actions, but I think that’s just how I learned Japanese, so why wouldn’t they know what I’m saying?”
The puppy nudges him away from a stretch of green, the leaves bundled in threes.
“Do you fly, puppy-san? I’ve never seen wings on a puppy before! Wow! They’re so pretty, puppy-san! Kaa-chan can fly too, but that’s just part of her Quirk. Are your wings part of your Quirk? A Quirk makes you very special! Toshi-nii says that Quirks have many uses, but that our hearts are the most powerful things around…”
When the puppy huffs, Kotarou frowns.
“Toshi-nii is right!” he says loyally. “He says when we believe with our whole heart, miracles happen! And I believed with my whole heart, puppy-san, and now I’m finding my way home!”
There’s another huff.
“Do I talk too much? Kaa-chan says that a fast talker like me means I’m born to be a, um,” he can’t really remember what kaa-chan had said, but she was laughing when she said it, so it must be good, “a man in a suit!”
Kotarou gets another nudge, this time urging him to climb a huge root. He gamely gives it his best, stretching his arms up to no avail, but then—Kotarou shrieks with delight as the puppy shoves him to the top of the root, a quick burst of movement that has Kotarou scrambling to his feet again.
“Wow!” he chirps. “Wow, wow, puppy-san! Thank you so much!” He claps his hands together and bows, like Toshi-nii taught him to at the local shrine.
Then Kotarou sees something skittering across the length of the root, diving for a knot in the wood, except it’s not a knot, it’s an opening. He gives chase, confident in the wideness of the surface.
“Puppy-san, a lizard!”
The puppy makes a noise, a noise that sounds awfully like Toshi-nii when he catches Kotarou doing a dangerous thing (he looks both ways on the street, okay, he knows when there are no cars coming). When Kotarou’s shoes slip on the moss, he yelps and flails his limbs—and then he’s dangling in the air, his sleeves pulling uncomfortably under his arms.
“Puppy-san?” His voice quivers.
There is a distinct rumble, and it sounds a lot like a growl. But the puppy is carefully climbing over the root and delicately moving Kotarou so he doesn’t smack into any leaves or branches. And then Kotarou is deposited on the ground, stunned into being quiet until the puppy lays down on its belly and impatiently, but most definitely, woofs.
It is a very bad woof. Like the puppy has never heard what a woof sounds like, but is trying its best to imitate it.
Kotarou gets up. He asks, “Do you want me to ride your back?”
Instead of another terrible woof, the puppy jerks its head towards its wings. Kotarou beams and scrambles to obey.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you,” he chants, finding handholds in the long silver fur. Eventually he scoots his way to the thick ruff, where the fur is heavy enough that he can bury his legs and hands in it.
The puppy rises, slow. And then it begins to move.

Wut da Fuq?!?!
I love Noda. I love Ookuma Hakkou. I love Noda’s wife.
I love the magazine GK. I love the volume GK. They’re all canon.
The meeting of Oy-kun and the Anpanman
Magazine ED: Koito’s memories through rose-tinted glasses
Volume ED: Tsurumi’s opium dream of what really happened. Or maybe it’s still Koito’s version but with a second retelling of the same story so...a high drama version and more accurate and less filterd by the boya’s crush.
Cursed Limited Edition: Koito Heiji’s Mosu version where all the description is just mosu mosu. And mosu.
....
Koito’s Rose-filter Memory:-
Tumblr media
...
Reality:-
It’s a very {bratty samurai son} x {principled commoner/ronin} love story-esque version.
I can’t remember but I know I’ve either read or watched some ol’ book or movie where the young hime-san or botchan was swept off their feet by the strict and principled adult.
...
Tumblr media
Koito: Pay attention goddamn moron. Wanna die or what?
(Bakayarou...he called Tsurumi bakayoarou!!)
Tumblr media
Tsurumi: Stop right there!         [he’s being real polite as a traffic cop a’right]
Koito: Kieeee (*monkey screech*)
Koito: Wha~ sorta joke is dis~!!
[I’m not entirely sure. Nai is what and Waya is pranking / teasing / practical joke in kagoshima-ben]
Koito: I am the son of Imperial Navy Commander Koito Heiji!! Those of the Koito family won’t settle for this kind of behaviour mildly, ok?!
[Roughly. I might be perfectly wrong his kagoshima ben is tough to go by but me thinks kogena is upposed to be konna, etc]
Tumblr media
Tsurumi: If you want to fight, you should do it with your own name.
Koito: You! Old man. Lend me your cane!!
Old passerby: Ok, Bottchan. *scoots*
Tumblr media
Koito: *Battle screech*
Tumblr media
sfx 1- *snap*
sfx 2- *slap
Tumblr media
Tsurumi: The tachi is rather elegant when straight...
[Tachi= long sword like a nodachi; Straight is upright or in line-form and also frank/honest...no bad innuendos I swear]
Koito: .....!!
Tsurumi: What happened, you’ve gone quiet all of a sudden? Is it because I stopped your Jigenryuu barehanded?
Tsurumi: Or is it the first time an adult has laid hands on you?
[literally just, Tsurumi says “slapped your face”]
Tumblr media
Koito: Yeah, thats all it is.
Tsurumi: *smirk*

Hmmmm. . . Well, that I haven't thought of before. Also,, I don't know Gamera well so bear with me as a bullshit my way through this. Also, it was pretty late when I waa writing this but meh.
Since Gamera is a man-made Titan that's made of mana and is biomechanical, he's probably an android or a cyborg though, it's not obvious unless he flies or uses his powers. He was made when a species called the Gyaos were being a bunch of nuisance and dangers that even the Titans can't handle and it doesn't help that they don't listen to Dagon. They didn't contest his position or anything, just outright disrespected him. So, the humans made Gamera to assist the Titans and yeah, he's very effective against Gyaos and made things easier for everyone.
Despite this, Gamera is a. . . Complicated issue among the titans. Yeah, they're impressed that the humans can do that and grateful for the help but also horrified like 'Wait, they can do that???'. Some ingrates are also kinda tempted to destroy him for simply existing. Some don't trust him and simply avoid him. Some wanna befriend him, really but are hesitant about it since they're not sure on what he can do, how strong he is or what his limitations are. Basically, how everyone would react if the elephants at the zoo suddenly made a living, breathing human out of random stuff that they have on them.
So yeah, Gamera mostly hangs out with humans since he's more or less an outcast among the titans. He's a friend to all children and babysits in his spare time. If there's trouble, Gamera usuallyprioritizes the kids first then eberyone else. He's also kinda the local mediator when it comes to human drama, something Mosu and Goji appreciate because that's less problems for them. Despite being a hit among humans, Gamera still feels pretty lonely since he still wants to fit in with the rest of the titans but he's also scared of the possible rejection and even attack.
Dagon usually keeps a close eye on Gamera, makes sure he doesn't do anything suspicious or dangerous. He knows he's a good guy, hell, Dagon kinda wants to take him in but you can never be too sure. He sometimes sends Rodan to spy on him and report back on what he's up to. His interactions with Gamera are polite but brief, mostly to check on him and such. He also defends Gamera if anyone is being a dick to him. Gamera tends to be more formal towards to the Alpha because, yeah, Alpha but he's also kinda scared of him cuz this guy can kill him for any reason, even without a reason. He's usually ready to defend himself if the time comes.
Based on his spying missions, Rodan finds Gamera interesting, almost as interesting as the Ghidorah Triplets, really. He also kinda likes him but definitely has a lot of respect for the guy. Anyone who is a friend to all kids and is a formidable fighter is someone Rodan can respect. Though, despite that, Rodan wants to approach Gamera but is either too busy to or Gamera is busy or he just ends up not following through. A pretty annoying thing but one of these days, he's gonna approach the guy and have an actual conversation with him. He swears on his mum. Meanwhile, Gamera knows Rodan but only the basics like Alpha's son, fastest flying titan, controls fire and lava and a walking disaster. He's pretty weary of him as Rodan has demonstated how chaotic he can be but since Rodan is also a pretty decent guy, Gamera doesn't exactly dislike him. Just finds him annoying but intimidating at times. Does wanna befriend him but he doesn't wanna get rejected or get in trouble.
Goji is pretty neutral about Gamera. Guy isn't a troublemaker, hell, he's a problem solver, really. He's a mediator, too, albeit with human issues. He's also a pretty decent dude judging by Gojira's own observations, especially judging by Gamera's interactions with the humans, Mothra and Dagon. However, Goji is a pretty distant guy, the kind who prefers people approach him than the other way around. Even then, he doesn't fully trust Gamera, always watching him as if waiting for him to do something dangerous, which never happens but still. You can never be too careful, though. Gamera finds him intimidating, especially when he catches Goji watching him. He's kinda antsy around the guy, especially when has his katana on him. Prefers avoiding him, really.
Mothra pities him. I mean, being created to fight a pest species and then getting ostracized for it? That pisses her off. How can everyone be so ungrateful and mean? It's not like Gamera asked to be made that way. She's probably one of the few if not the only one who approaches and talks to Gamera. She's friendly and polite to him, makes sure he's alright and sometimes even gives him snacks. She wants to invite himto her friend group but he always declines. Gamera likes Mosu. She's the closest he's ever gotten to having a friend.
The Ghidorah Triplets have different opinions on him. Ichi is mostly neutral about him but mostly wants nothing to do with him, Ni doesn't trust him and San finds him interesting and wants to interact with him but his older brothers keep on preventing him from doing so. Collectively, they kinda sympathize in Gamera's situation, in being an anomaly but Ghidorah was luckier and was mostly accepted by the other titans. Also, they're not exactly man-made titans as far as they know. Though, mostly they either tag along with Rodan during his spying missions or join Goji in watching the guy, especially when Mothra or Dagon talk to him. Gamera just finds them intimidating, even more so than Goji. They're triplets with the weird triplet hivemind thing, they're unpredictable, have scary resting bitch faces and they're pretty ruthless in terms of combat. So yeah, Gamera wants nothing to do with them.
During Ghidorah's attack on Atlantis, Gamera prioritized on helping the people evacuate as Ghids attacked during the evacuation. Gamera tried his best in helping Mothra, Gojira and Anguirus in fighting off the triplets but he ended up getting sealed away. He was released during the 21st century.
Okay, will post more Gamera if I have more ideas or changed my mind on things. Also, I am so sorry if I screwed up on stuff, especially Gamera.

Golden Kamuy chapter 196.  Get Ogata to a Russian hospital!  And Ariko is becoming more interesting . . .
After the few weeks of break, chapter 196 is back.  As many fans have been waiting for some Ogata related plot, Noda finally delivers again.  There is also more cultural education in this chapter with the Nivkh people making various clothing items out of fish skins and some fishy desserts.  There also seems to be more to Ariko as shown through his meeting with Kikuta.
Tumblr media
The chapter starts off with Asirpa and Sugimoto out and about with Shiraishi doing some cultural education and some fine hat purchasing.  I like how even though this is no longer Kiro’s cultural tour of Karafuto/Sakhalin, Asirpa is starting to fill in that role as she observes and connects the commonalities between the different groups of indigenous peoples.  Wilk may not have been the best father but she definitely has his curiosity and intelligence for understanding those around her and the commonalities of the various groups.
They return to the house that they are staying in and their hosts give them some treats.  Shiraishi and Sugimoto are immediately game to try them since they are the boys of the foodie trio.  Interestingly, we don’t get Asirpa’s opinion on this . .. instead Koito has a tie to the dish.  It is the name of the dish in Nivkh, “mos”, which is almost the same as the phrase his Satsuma-ben speaking father says, “mosu”.  I think this entire trip has clearly been incredibly stressful for Koito.
Tumblr media
It is clear that he is feeling insecure and homesick and this food makes him think of his father, whom he is so desperately trying to impress and make proud with his leadership skills.  it is rare to see that soft and nostalgic smile on his character . . .
Koito also looks overjoyed at Tsukishima’s statement that Koito’s father will be proud of him at the “success” of their mission to rescue Asirpa as well as Tsurumi.  But seeing the fact that they haven’t gotten Asirpa back to Tsurumi, Koito really shouldn’t be that happy since they still have to deal with Sugimoto (who has already told Asirpa that he’s not going along with them).  Koito is elated at Tsukishima’s compliment, Koito feels the need to feed Tsukishima so he too can enjoy the treat!  Koito is blushing as he tries to slide the dessert into Tsukishima’s mouth and. . . .
Tumblr media
it face plants on poor Tsukishima.  Ah Koito your heart is in the right place but next time cut off a piece and spoon feed him.  Please.  I know he’s a tough guy, but it would save him from the awkwardness.  Tsukishima is likely regretting making that statement now that he has the food stuck on his face. . .  as all the youngsters say these days, Tsuki is mood. . . .
But the tenor of their sweets enjoying levity takes a turn for the worse and the Nivkh woman is making an herbal salve but explains it is not enough to help with Ogata’s wound.  Ogata is no longer sweating but his cheek is clearly swollen and bruised from the removal of the poisoned eyeball.  Sugimoto is taking Ogata’s wound very seriously, as he’s going to make sure that Ogata does not die for the sake of Asirpa’s purity/innocence.
Tumblr media
Also, could someone please get Ogata some chapstick or moisturizer for his lips?  Some of the bruising could be from the brute force of Sugimoto holding Ogata’s head in place as he was passed out, but the roundness to me indicates infection.  I have a feeling Sugimoto wasn’t keen enough to cauterize Ogata’s wound after removing the eyeball.
This then leads to Sugimoto taking the leadership role in the group again going against Koito’s wishes.  He wants a doctor to look at Ogata and Koito is against this idea, but Sugimoto knows how obviously Koito cares about Tsukishima that he uses that as an excuse to get him to relent.
Tumblr media
But at the end of the day, Koito won’t argue about getting help for Tsukishima, as his pouty face also shows a sweat drop where he’s likely upset but worried about Tsukishima.  Koito is trying to maintain a command that he never truly had - I wonder if he in part knows he’s not leading the way he wants b/c he doesn’t seem to be fighting Sugimoto like they did earlier. . .
Sugimoto’s plan is to use his newly purchased Nivkh hat to blend in with the locals and he goes to the doctor with Enonoka, her grandfather and the Nivkh man from the eyeball ass river demon story.  Sugimoto is hanging back and as he doesn’t want the Russian doctor to realize he’s in the country illegally.  I had previously assumed that Tsukishima’s group entered the border legally since we know that Tsurumi tipped off the Russian border guards to Kiro’s movements, but apparently not.  Perhaps that would have raised too many flags at the border that either central would notice or the Russian border guards notice?  Why did you send them illegally Tsurumi?  What is your game plan?
Either way, the Russian doctor says he’s unable to help due to being full or too many patients etc. First, Sugimoto is willing to bribe the doctor with Koito’s money which is all kinds of complicated.  This chapter is really giving me some things to think about in regards to Sugimoto - I shall come back to them in the future. . . .
The look of shock and horror on Sugimoto’s face is striking, his pupils are dilated so small in shock, and the dark shadow over his eyes indicates his almost panic with a sweat drop!  It is very interesting this chapter that not once, or twice but three times his eyes are either shaded completely black or covered by his military cap.  As @goldenkamuyhunting has already pointed out, eyes shaded black don’t imply dark or mean intent from a character - it means that something about them is hidden or unclear.  Noda is keeping the reader from knowing how Sugimoto feels about this - what is clear is he is fighting some sort of internal battle to do what he thinks is “the right thing”.  I’ve begun to wonder if in this instance this is Sugimoto’s attempt to stay calm and keep his feelings hidden about the matter and just go through the motions.
The doctor’s response forces him to “reveal” himself and we see his face clearly now and those stress lines under his eyes are intense! Suigmoto is not taking “No” for an answer and threatens the doctor with his rifle at gunpoint.
Tumblr media
Ok, I get that you are desperate Sugimoto, but must you always resort to bullying and the threat of violence to get people to cooperate with you in tight situations?  And this all for Asirpa?  Do you think Asirpa wants you pointing a gun at a man to save Ogata? Oh the irony.
Thankfully, the doctor checks out Tsukishima, who is recovering nicely and is able to act as their translator.  Unfortunately for them, he immediately realizes that Ogata is in rough shape, his aid as a visiting doctor isn’t enough and he stares very intensely at Ogata for a bit before he tells them that he needs to go to a hospital for sterile treatment facilities.  Sounds like Ogata is gonna get the eye socket drained of all of the pus and likely cauterized too and some additional surgery on his face.  Tsukishima tells him that their mission to rescue Asirpa is complete and they will return without making a fuss.   Tsukishima’s expression is very interesting as he translates his almost rhetorical question if they want to save Ogata or not. The doctor insists on getting him treatment and asks them if they want to save him (as he is likely assuming Ogata is one of their team members potentially based on his statement) and Koito is against this.  He gets overridden by Sugimoto who is all for “whatever it takes” to “save” Ogata.  Koito is immediately upset by this reply by Sugimoto.
Tumblr media
Sugimoto’s expression is super intense here, his eyes are llght, and he’s got unstable looking screen tones behind/around him.  He says he’s got too much to ask Ogata to let him die just yet.  Koito doesn’t respond but has a sweat drop indicating he’s likely torn on this issues.  The doctor then adds in via Tsukishima’s translation that they don’t want his help to go to waste if he reports them to the Russian authorities.
So off to the hospital they go.  It appears that the doctor is tying Ogata to the dogsled here and Asirpa is in front of Sugimoto on the sled. Shiraishi and Koito are there as well.  Everyone is wearing non-Japanese looking hats so that they can blend in better.  Though Koito’s tanned complexion . . .  a northerner with that skin tone .  .  .  . let’s hope no one really notices Koito’s glowing tan.
Tumblr media
Koito seems to be under the indication that he thinks Sugimoto will expect or is anticipating that Ogata will be a changed man b/c he saved him.  I wonder how much of a liar Koito thinks Ogata is?  Sugimoto has lied many more times than Ogata and for the most part Ogata really sucks at it.  So why the idea that Ogata has been lying to everyone the entire time?  That he’s a scammer and a wildcat but only on the basis of the rumors.  Ogata’s behavior for the most part does not indicate deception, generally a statement of an obvious fact in a less than ideal way perhaps. . . .
Sugimoto of course falls back on the idea that he’s doing this to “save” Asirpa but not Ogata.  A few things that are interesting are 1.) Asirpa’s blank but forward look.  For Sugimoto doing this for her seems quite disengaged.  2.) Shiraishi has stress lines under his left eye and he has more of a look of surprise at Koito’s statement.  Does Shiraishi suspect that there might be more to Ogata than Koito is assuming about him?  He has traveled with him a long way with Kiro and Asirpa. . . he may think he saw some sort of change in Ogata. or maybe Shiraishi understands Ogata a bit more?
The chapter then ends with Sugimoto saying he’s saving Asirpa. And the final panel shows Ogata on the sled smirking.
Tumblr media
So Ogata is likely conscious at this point and has been listening to everyone.  I’ll come back to this in a bit.
I’m going to jump back to Kikuta and Ariko in the middle of the chapter still at Noboribetsu.  A quick conversation between Usami and Nikaido back a the onsen recovering.  Then Usami panics about Tsurumi coming there soon.  Again, it is clear that Tsurumi is no longer code breaking and on the move again in Hokkaido.  So we will likely see Tsurumi soon.
They then state that Ariko has gone missing and likely died on the mountain.  Instead, he’s at his kotan and Kikuta comes to find him.  It looks like the woman from the previous chapter is his mother (thanks for noting the matching eyebrows lulapinn!) and she’s got a decent sized tattoo indicating she is of some significance in the kotan.  She looks a bit nervous as Kikuta comes and she calls Ariko by his Ainu name Ipopte.
Tumblr media
He’s not stressed and clearly expecting Kikuta to show up.  As Kikuta enters, the woman still looks nervous but Ariko seems chill.
Tumblr media
There is a skin being stretched to dry on the floor.  Already many people have noticed that none of these kanji match the two that are known to be on Toni, rain and death.
Tumblr media
So this is a fake skin.  Before encountering Toni at the hot spring Ariko had no idea what the skin looked like.  So he had to see Toni’s for a reference to make the fake one.  Ariko explains that he had to skin the body on the spot since it would be hard to carry the body down the mountain.  This is valid as Sugimoto has done this frequently.  Kikuta is a greedy man and inquires about what happened to his gun, since he likes to have a trophy from those he beats in battle.  Ariko is ready for this question and instead gives him his bandanna/scarf instead.  This action makes it look like Ariko tried really hard to retrieve something for Kikuta and not look too suspicious.  I do find it interesting he doesn’t quite make eye contact when he hands the scarf over but as a subordinate that would be pretty normal.  A good way to also hide if he’s lying.
Tumblr media
Clearly a bit twisted, like the rest of the 27th, Kikuta puts on the scarf instead.  There are a few potential outcomes here; 1.) Toni is dead and Ariko used his body to supply the fake.  2.) Toni is alive and Ariko rescued him and then used him to model his fake skin.
It is far to early to figure out who Ariko is working with and how he is tied to the skins.  He could be working with Hijikata, but right now I don’t think so, it is clear he never knew what a tattoo looked and he had to be told by his mother.  She has a large tattoo indicating she carries some weight in the kotan.  Was she married to one of the murdered men or one of the Ainu leaders involved in the gold?  Is he the son of one of the murdered men or someone who was against using the gold?
Is Ariko working with another faction working to hide the gold?  Does he have an opinion like Asirpa’s uncle who believes the gold should be left alone?  Could he be a part of the partisan faction that Kiro was in with Wilk? Likely not, since they were a tight knit group and I still can’t get over his more Japanese mannerisms and body language.  Is he a spy for central, like Tsukishima accused Ogata of being in Yubari?  The fact he’s been kept away from the rest of the 27th and they didn’t know he was Ainu is suspicious.  Does Tsurumi know he’s related to one of the dead Ainu?  Is Tsurumi afraid of him going out for revenge?
Whatever the case - even though he’s a partner to Kikuta, he just deceived him with a skin that Tsurumi already has a copy of.  Or did he supply this to Kikuta for him to take a fall when he gets it to Tsurumi?  It was unclear that Tsurumi knew that one of the copies was Toni Anji’s he may not know who it matched to . . . we don’t know of Sugimoto told him which ones were which but I’m sure Tsurumi made him explain them.
No matter what, we will have to see how Ariko’s role unfolds in this. . .
There are two more things that I want to touch on in this chapter.  The first is in regards to Asirpa.
Many of us have been discussing that since Asirpa shot Ogata, she and Sugimoto have not really talked much.  They also tried to do the eyes on the bare bum joke on Shiraishi, but it felt empty.  Asirpa knows the code and she hasn’t told Sugimoto that she thinks she knows it.  She almost killed Ogata and she watched Kiroranke who was as almost an uncle to her die from his fight with Tanigaki, Tsukishima and Koito.  Ever since she shot Ogata she’s been a bit off.  She’s likely in shock and no one is talking to her about what happened.  Instead, Sugimoto is thinking he can fix it by making sure Ogata doesn’t die yet.  Then he can question him and potentially kill him later.
@goldenkamuyhunting and I have been discussing Asirpa’s reaction for some time.  Please compare our analyses!  We always write them separately and then read each others only when done.
Currently, I believe that Asirpa has started on the path to become like Ogata.  He didn’t start out as someone who could kill someone by pushing all of his feelings deep down, but that is his coping mechanism.  He tried to get her to kill him so that he could win his own argument with himself and also get her to recognize what she was being trained for by her father.
Noda frequently refers back to previous things in this manga to make a connection.  So first let’s look at the panel when Sugimoto says that they need to get Ogata to a doctor but at no risk to themselves here.  Asirpa is sitting right next to Sugimoto.  She does not reply and instead her text is “ . . .”
Tumblr media
Her eyes don’t have their normal sparkle either.  There is still some but it is reduced.  She is also looking off at something distant or staring at nothing in particular.  Her face body language really immediately reminded me of this panel: Ogata in the tankoban version of chapter 103.  We already saw Asirpa like this on the ice when she collapsed and Sugimoto cut the eye out.
Tumblr media
But that bottom panel of Ogata, The face angle, the fact that they both have their hands on their lap staring off into the distance.  He doesn’t respond to what is happening, he stares off trying to push things away or ignore them.  Ogata doesn’t feel the result of his actions.
You may be thinking that I’ve staring too much at Asirpa’s eyes and connecting her to Ogata but here is what she looked like earlier in the chapter.  Asirpa is out with Sugimoto and Shiraishi and her eyes look much more normal as she’s learning about fish skin applications of the Nivkh people.
Tumblr media
And to put this in perspective it isn’t that this panel is one where her head is larger than in the panel where she’s distant.  These were screen capped at the same magnification so the eyes are equivalent.  In the one where Sugimoto says they need to get Ogata medical help her eyes are closed a bit more and she’s focused on looking somewhere - with less sparkle in her eyes.  Noda chose to make her look like that.
So what does this mean?  Asirpa is on the path to begin to try to push her emotions and feelings back down.  Just like she had to an extent before meeting Sugimoto.  Her uncle told him how she was happier spending time with him and opening up here.  She was able to spend time in the mountains and be like she once was with her father and Retar.  Recall that when the two of them met, she had predominantly been in the mountains and every time Kiro tried to visit her,  she was always “hiding’ in the mountains.
Tumblr media
Further evidence of Asirpa burying things so deep to avoid facing them is in regards to the code itself.  She only realized the pain associated with it after Sofia gave her the nudge to get her to pull it back up.  And she was very upset when she realized it.  One must be very distressed to bring a hand up to one’s face and she does this here as she’s sweating and her eyes begin to look teary.
Tumblr media
Asirpa is shocked she forget this important secret from her father.
But even more she knows why she “forgot” it.
Tumblr media
Wilk telling her the code, lead him departing for the gold plot. She then lost Retar.  She is in the forefront of the bottom right panel shaded against the snow and ice.  Alone.  As she cries she admits the truth, she tried so hard to not think about it that she almost pushed it out of her mind.  Asirpa’s coping mechanism is clearly similar to Ogata’s - bury that shit down and keep it down no matter the cost.  The problem that cost is their own mental health.
There are many more parallels between their characters;
1.) use a distance weapon. 2) wear white cloaks 3.) observant of their surroundings 4.) respect hard work 5.) terrible fathers 6.) absent mothers 7.) loving grandmas 8.) outcasts and many other things  . . .
I hypothesize that in the next little bit of the manga, Asirpa is going to remain distant and try to push things away.  She is likely in shock from all events, and the last time this happened to her, she pushed things into the back of her mind.  Her lack of dialogue with Sugimoto really shows that she’s likely back to trying to cope by not dealing with things.  On top of that, Sugimoto essentially sold her out to Tsurumi, so she can’t quite trust things either.  The worst part is Sugimoto is so bent of saving Ogata, he’s ignoring her role in all of this.  They need to talk about this, but it doesn’t look like it is happening soon.  She has the same distant look on the dogsled on their way to the hospital.  The goal hopefully is that she will not go down the Ogata path  . . . but someone needs to recognize that she is in pain and she needs to be validated.
I think the other person who could be there for Asirpa is Shiraishi, but he’s likely also hurting just as much as she is with Kiro’s death.  There are three very lonely and isolated people in the group currently; Asirpa, Shiraishi and Ogata.
So last back to the smirking cat Ogata.
At the end of the chapter Ogata when from a slight frown to a smirk - what does this mean?
First off, Ogata must be awake and somewhat aware of his situation.  He’s getting moved to a hospital where he’s likely going to have an unpleasant time with this eye socket getting cleaned out and cauterized.  What could cause him to change expression?  It is the doctor who is leaning over Ogata, tying him onto the dogsled.  Likely the doctor has said something to him . .. he’s leaning right over him.  What could he have said?  Is he speaking to him in Russian or Japanese?  The doctor barely even sees Ogata before insisting on having him moved to the hospital.
So now it is time for some crazy spitballing theories.
1.) I believe Ogata may know some Russian.  Why?  Ogata teamed up with Kiro.  @goldenkamuyhunting has wondered if they teamed up before the start of the story as how could Ogata have pulled himself out of the stream with his injuries?  I think that the person who pulled Ogata out was Kiro.  He was trying to track down Asirpa to find her - Ogata found her and Kiro was likely right on her tail.  But why would Ogata know Russian?  The entire time on Karafuto/Sakhalin Ogata has to rely on Kiro for the logistics and there is a huge power imbalance.  It is clear at the Karafuto fox farm that Kiro did not reveal his full plan to Ogata but he had to have shared some information with him to convince him to join Kiro.  Ogata is a super cautious guy - he wouldn’t get into a situation without some sort of fall back.  He would have to be prepared for something to happen and he’d get trapped in Russia without Kiro’s help (which has totally happened).  Knowing Russian would be one part of that.
Before Ogata and Vasily’s sniper battle he states that they will have to get the answer from them as to why they were attacked.  Ogata already knows that they were attacked likely b/c of Kiro’s partisan past.  Kiro looks a little concerned here and Asirpa looks curious.
Tumblr media
How could Ogata get the answers directly from them?  By speaking to them - is he hoping Vasily knows enough Japanese that he’d be able to talk to him?  Hard to tell.  The vol 17 tankoban gives more information about the results of the sniper battle.  Ogata was unable to land a lethal blow on Vasily, but there is no way he’s talking with Ogata.  But Ogata can still ask him questions - and if that is the case they would likely have to be in Russian.
2.) Ogata is partially a member of the partisans.  When Ogata decides he wants Asirpa to give him the code it was an instance of him deciding he wanted her acceptance and trust and not his role with Kiro and Sofia.  This doesn’t mean that before he had his emotional melt down that he was anti-partisan.  Instead, he’s panicking b/c he knows Sugimoto and Tanigaki are nearby.  Ogata’s emotional needs surpassed his logicstical needs with Asirpa.  I’ve already talked about this at length, the point is, Ogata being a partisan or sympathizer is not out of the question.
If Ogata was accepted by the partisans what would this mean?  He’d have access to their network - he seemed to know about Kiro before Hijikata revealed that Wilk had a collaborator who is also a partisan hiding in the Ainu in Hokkaido.  But if Ogata and Kiro are already working they know that.
When Hijikata shows up at Edogai’s house, and Sugimoto gets ready to fight him, Ogata and Kiro both glance at each other.  There is even a little nod between them.  Ogata’s nod is obvious as he frowns but Kiro’s is super subtle.
Tumblr media
When Inkarmat tries to get the group riled up on the beach, Ogata points his rifle at her ready to shoot as he knows she’s linked to Tsurumi.  But Kiro begins to de-escalate the situation and by time Ogata is shown again, his rifle is at ease but still out.
Tumblr media
I believe how Ogata defers to Kiro before Karafuto indicates that he has been working with him for some time and that the cat alliance formed early, likely before the first chapter of the manga.
By the time they are on Karafuto/Sakhalin they are still working together.  For example, when they found Gansoku, they were out gathering information.  They left Shiraishi and Asirpa to get some tea at the Russian tea house/cafe.
Tumblr media
So perhaps they are gathering information - or are they making contact with other partisans?  Is Ogata accepted by them through Kiro’s endorsement?  Is Ogata relying on Kiro to do all the Russian translation?  If Ogata were to align himself with the partisans maybe not for their cause per se but their network would they accept a guy who can only speak Japanese?  Likely not - the partisans are comprised of many of the different local ethnic groups and Russians.  Therefore, their de facto language of operation has to be Russian - not everyone is as linguistically skilled as Wilk and Kiro and even Sofia (recall she knows French being an elite).  It is unclear who else Kiro is in touch with during their journey and if Ogata knows them as well.
The unnamed Russian doctor could be a partisan or sympathizer,  if he either remembers him or recognizes him, he is an ally for Ogata.  My personal joke is when he leans over him he says something like “greetings comrade” or something indicating their ties.
This then comes back to one of the panels that I am stuck on.  Kiro is explaining the history of Wilk’s village to Asirpa at the now fox farm.  Ogata is shaded completely in the dark and is the backdrop of how Japan and Russia kept changing the dynamics of this region.
Tumblr media
This strongly links Ogata to this and that he has some role or tie to all of in this.  @goldenkamuyhunting and I have both wondered if Ogata is mixed race.  Still unclear how that would be the case, but everyone always comments on how pale he is - and he is outside a fair bit so it seems to indicate that Ogata doesn’t tan as dark as others.
The partisans have a lot of mixed race members - could this be a tie in?  It is hard to tell since his father is definitely Japanese, it would have to be in relation to his mother - we know his grandparents represent the losing samurai side during the Meiji revolution - was his grandfather up in Hokkaido and a part of the brief Republic of Ezo?  He could have met an Ainu woman then and brought his mother back then?  Twitter user Sei Kobiyama had a tweet recently about how Japanese men saw Ainu women as beautiful and exotic and were sexually assaulted for generations.
Tumblr media
But this is still a bit of a reach for a theory.  Plus if that were the case grandma Ogata is an amazing mom for raising his mother . . . unless she was the child they couldn’t have and she was very precious to her so even if she wasn’t genetically her daughter she was still her daughter.  Ogata really does seem to have a feeling that he owes a debt to his grandma in my opinion.
The major question still for most of the Japanese characters is why Ogata teamed up with Kiro?  He never reveals much of himself to anyone, we only know his backstory through his memory of his encounter with his father in 103 and his role in Yuusaku’s death in 164-165.  The reader knows this information but none of the characters know (except for Tsurumi in regards to Hanazawa’s murder and likely Yuusaku’s to an extent).  It is clear that his mother was an attractive woman, that would explain why she was sent out to work as a geisha.  Everyone seems to think Ogata isn’t the type of person to do that.
Tumblr media
Tanigaki throughout the series has always doubted Ogata in his interaction with the Ainu even though he has never harmed any of them in all of their tight situations.  But here he is - the chose to work with Kiroranke.  Whatever his level of dedication to the partisan cause is or was, there was at least something there . . .  more than Tanigaki.
3.) The last reason I think Ogata may be smirking is a much more simple thing.  The doctor may have said something to him and Ogata has a game plan.  He could request asylum from the Russians once he’s in the hospital.  He could explain that he deserted the Japanese army and to escape this was his only option.  This would keep him separate from the rest of the group and the would be unable to take him back if he got the local government involved.  It could go down like this, he requests asylum and the rest are forced to return to Hokkaido without him.  Or it gets worse for the others - he gets protection and the rest of them get detained by the Russian authorities for illegally crossing the border and now he’s in a potential position of power.  He could even say that they were pursuing him and that is how he got injured as a result.  That would be a total dick move, but really he’s in a cornered position.
4.) The last potential explanation is that Ogata is a spy.  I’m less thrilled with this idea since he’s a terrible liar and I can’t seem him tying himself to an imperial government Japanese or Russian.  But I don’t want to rule that out.  It seems too fishy to me that Tsukishima called Ogata out as being a spy for central - obviously on Tsurumi’s orders/information.
Well that is all I have for you guys right now.  This turned out to be a lot longer than i expected.

SW OC List
Heya! Since some of you guys wanted to know more about my SW characters, I decided to start off with a list of my characters and some facts and info about each one! So let’s get started!
Telusa Po’Delkiv
-As my first SW oc, Telusa holds a special place in my heart. She was a part of an original race of mine called the Temarnii, but I switched her over to being a regular Lurmen.
-Telusa is as much of a trickster as one would think a monkey based character would be. Her antics are what landed her with Plo Koon as a master. It was hoped that through the Council Member, she would mature and develop as a Jedi.
-Her diet is almost completely fruit based, which can make prolonged trips to the Outer Rim difficult. The lack of a constant supply of fruit can really mess up her stomach, and sometimes it can put her out of commission.
-She incorporates her small size into her fighting, giving her a distinct advantage over larger opponents. Paired with her two lightsabers, she is a bouncing bundle of destruction on the battlefield.
-Both her lightsabers are green, symbolizing Telusa as a Jedi Consular, so despite her combat abilities and sarcastic nature, she prefers negotiation to outright battle. Her force abilities are also really strong, and has developed into an affinity for Force Visions
Vahan
-Vahan is a pale orange Nautolan, whom has been hired by the Republic as a Navigator. Basically, his job is to guide troops through smuggling routes to avoid Separatist detection.
-He has a tendency to get close to those he works with, and is a favorite of the clones. Most tend to get along with him quite easily.
-He is rather easygoing, but his smile hides his skill. He may be calm and kind, but his long-range sniper abilities are nothing to scoff at. He has trained since a young age to survive in many environments, so he is an ideal person to have on hand in a survival scenario.
Veld Kran
-Veld is a Togruta Jedi Knight with a serious demeanor. He is the master of Umanii Chalna, and to outsiders he seems to be a strict and cold man.
-He holds people to high standards, but he does have a soft spot for Umanii. Still, he works her hard and pushes her to be the best Jedi she can be.
-He isn’t good with expressing his feelings, so he gets a bit flustered when forced into casual conversation. He is basically a man who excels at his job but has a shitty personal life.
-His lightsaber is Blue, signaling his rank as a Jedi Guardian. Not the best negotiator due to his stiff nature, and is thus much better at speaking through action
Umanii Chalna
-The Pantoran Padawan of Veld Kran. She is shy and soft spoken, so her master is not quite sure how to manage her. She is a favorite among the clones for her good listening skills.
-She has a high tolerance to the cold, and her troops have heart attacks when she doesn’t wear much winter gear on cold planets.
-May or may not hoard pretty stones. She may or may not have a huge collection of gems and stones from the various planets she has visited. A total geography nerd.
-Her lightsaber is blue like her master, also signaling her as a Jedi Guardian.
Kassia Solbest
-A new Jedi Knight and an accomplished Force Healer. Her clone regiment specializes in medical rescue and assistance missions, so she and her men can usually be found in the vicinity of Republic Medical Stations.
-She has several tattoos and scars, and she wears them like a queen.
-Kassia goes by “Kas”, and even forces her men to call her that. She tends to pout when they refer to her as General. Kas is the mama bear of the 510th Legion, and can and will fight if you threaten her men.
-Her lightsaber is grey, a rare color of crystal associated with clarity and a focus on the Living Force.
Raz Munja
-A Togruta Padawan of the Jedi order. At the start of the Clone Wars, her master (Saljaku Voldern, currently in development) was killed by General Grievous. She is currently under the temporary tutelage of Shaak Ti, and assist in the training of Cadets on Kamino.
-The big sister of the Cadets, she works them hard and wants them to live to see the end of the war so they can be free to make their own choices.
-Extremely skilled in hand-to-hand combat, and she often uses this to her advantage to throw her Cadets off guard during training.
-Her lightsaber is purple, befitting of her aggressive style that borders on accepting the use of “Dark Sided” techniques.
Mosu Varoj
-Zabrak Padawan of Eeth Koth. Her name sounds similar to “mouse” in some dialects, and as such her master and others call her “little mouse”. She acts like it bothers her but really, she digs it.
-A Chaotic Dumbass. Her streets smarts are amazing and she handles dealing with the nitty-gritty underbelly of society well. However, her common sense is abysmal. Is the kind of person to lock herself into a closet, or go to a meeting without her documents. But place her as a plant for a drug deal, and she blends right in.
-Has a strange fascination with ancient literature, which seems to conflict with her usual demeanor. Many people are surprised that she studies ancient languages, but that is because she was in trouble so much at the temple as a youngling, she was often stuck helping in the archives. She picked up a basic understanding of ancient language interpretation from there. It throws people for a loop when she can communicate with a strange tribe using a dead language.
-Her lightsaber is yellow, signaling her as a Jedi Sentinel. She street abilities and language comprehension skills aide her in espionage missions.

Okay, that is a wrap for now! If you have questions about a specific character, send them on in! I will be happy to answer them when I can!

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4
Tumblr media

My Hero Academia One's Justice 2
Tumblr media

One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows
Tumblr media
