Would anyone be interested if I post daily headcanons for my OC Natalie Valentine?

I've mentioned this OC before on here if you want to read some more basic information on her. I have also written her in a oneshot before, she is one of my favorite original characters at the moment.

The thing is is that I have SO many headcanons for her that I'd like to share since I don't always have time write oneshots where people can get to know her better.

So would y'all be interested in me writing out headcanons everyday like I do for my daily incorrect quotes?

If plenty of people would like this, then I'll be starting next week :)

Most funny thing about tg is that Aegon has no rights to throne by andal law and andal law doesn't apply to Targs

According to the "andalI law" Jaehaerys is a usurper, so he had no right to appoint Viserys, who is a usurper, and Aenys was also one, because of polygamy… and so on :P If we were guided by this (lack of acceptance of the second wife and the daughter's priority over her uncle), it would turn out that the only rightful ruler according to the "andal law" was Maegor, who won the throne after the death of his brother-usurper :P But no one will probably agree with this, True?

Aegon I -> Aenys = wrong (the Andals did not support polygamy, so according to them, Aegon's legal heir should be Maegor - the firstborn son of his first wife)… but people have no problem. Maegor -> Jaehaerys = wrong (the daughter stands before her uncle, and Aegon should become king after Aenys' death, and his firstborn was Aerea, and her uncle was Jaehaerys)… but people have no problem. Jaehaerys -> Viserys = wrong (again the daughter before uncle rule should apply, so the heir should be Rhaenys, who was passed over in favor of her uncles and then her cousin)… but people have no problem.

Strangely enough, the problem only arises when the "law" is to be bent in favor of the woman.

In fact, since the Targaryens did not come from the Andals and conquered Westeros, they should not be expected to follow such a law. And the fact that the Targaryens tried to adapt to the laws and customs of the place they conquered proves that they are not "terrible colonizers" as some say…

how would the faith of the seven -headcannon wise- have their own catholic vs Protestant differences ideology wise? Or even a sunni vs shia differences?

How does the "Seven are One and the One Seven" work exactly?

Are the gods of other faiths demons, aspects of the Seven, or lesser gods?

Can holy texts be translated and sermons given in people's native tongues or must both be in the original Old Andali dialect?

Can kings appoint members of the Most Devout or only the High Septon?

Is the Starry Sept the undisputed head of the Faith (and if so why when the Vale is where the Andals first landed and the Westerlands the wealthiest?) or merely the first among equals?

What would be considered acceptable and unacceptable deviations when it comes to rites?

Rand, prompt: pain

(CW: Chronic Pain)

Rand peered down into the cup. It was filled with a murky, slightly foul smelling brew, still frothy with crushed herbs and other things Nynaeve had mixed into it. That wasn’t what held him back though- he had taken far worse smelling and tasting droughts from Nynaeve when she had been Wisdom.

"It's Spider's Breath mixed with, Andaly Root and Callum Seed." Nynaeve said over her shoulder. "It should at the least take some of the sting out."

“I don’t think-“ Rand began, trying to make his voice gentle. He did not succeed. There was to little gentleness left in him to put any into his words.

“Don’t you start with me Rand al’Thor.” Nynaeve said without turning around form her scrip of herbs. “If you do we’ll see if you can sit your fancy throne with a sore bottom.” She paused half way to putting a jar full of what looked like tubers back into it’s holster. When she spoke again her voice was soft. “If you can’t even trust your Wisdom to mix cures for you…”

Rand shook his head, eyes widening in shock. “No! No it’s not that! I just….” He put a hand to his side. “I trust you Nynaeve. But I don’t think herbs can ease this.”

Nynaeve turned then to face him and for a long moment they just stared at each other. She knew him better then most, almost as well as his own father. Maybe better in some ways. When you grew up without a mother in the Two Rivers, many of the duties that fell to a mother- from explaining certain facts of life, to teaching the basics herb lore, to matters of manners- fell to the Wisdom instead. She had soothed his fevers, and bandaged his cuts, and taught him which plants never to touch, and which to look for if he needed aid.

She knew when he was in pain, even when no one else did.

“You hide it well.” She said softly. “You bare up that stone mask of yours, never letting it crack, except when your temper flares so hot you can’t help it.” She turned back to her scrip and slipped the bottle into place. “But you are still flesh Rand al’Thor. Flesh and bone and blood. And you can’t keep ignoring that fact. You must care for the flesh, or it will be the death of you.”

Rand felt his mouth thin. “I can’t afford to be flesh Nynaeve. I must be iron. Steel. Cuendillar.” He sighed then forcing his shoulders to slack. “Besides I’ve gotten…used to it.” He reached towards his side with his hand but stopped short of touching the never healing wound. It still felt like it when he had first awoken on Tomon Head: like a hot coal sitting on his skin. It would flare hotter sometimes, with the wrong move or the wrong gesture or even just when he dwelt on it to long. But he had had learned to live with it.

What was one more mark, one burden on his shoulders?

Nynaeve shook her head and pushed the cup forward. “That doesn't mean we shouldn’t try to soothe the pain if we can’t. There is nothing noble in suffering Rand al’Thor. Nothing noble in being in pain when you could have relief.”

Rand shook his head. She didn’t understand. To be a man was suffering, and being strong enough to survive it. But he knew if he said that, she would call it ‘hairy chested drivel’ and force the concoction down his throat anyways.

Nynaeve sighed when he didn’t move to pick up the cup and tugged once on her braid. “For me Rand.” She said, keeping her voice soft even as anger clearly bubbled up beneath. “As a favor, to the woman who was once your Wisdom, and doesn't want to see you hurting.”

There was no way to argue with that, so Rand sighed and raised the cup to his lips. He was right, it tasted just as foul as it smelled, and did nothing for the ache in his side. But he smiled anyways and threw back his shoulders.

“You where right. Better.” He said.

Nynaeve shook her head. She was not fooled. But she said nothing as she turned back to her scrip.

She would learn eventually Rand knew. There was no point dwelling on what could not be mended- and Rand had long ago been broken beyond repair.

Lily - she’s pretty proud of her eyes, they’re one of the few obviously Andali features she inherited from her father, and in her world they’re considered exotic/unique.

In others - does height count? She likes ‘em tall. Otherwise, I think she’s got a particular fondness for hands. Given these vampires have that touch taboo, touching someone’s hands is a little 🔥

Mika - in himself, his ripped arms. In others, b00bs. And a sweet smile doesn’t hurt, either.

Ales - In himself: I don’t think he thinks much about his own appearance. I think he would say his eyes and his smile because he knows it’s what Kit likes. In others, he can find something to like about almost anyone (cuz he’s a ho at heart and mostly just attracted to fucked up damaged people) but I think he’s fond of the neck, for sexy vampire reasons. 😈

Kit - In herself: Uhh, hard to pick, she’s hot as fuck and she knows it. In others: She’s demisexual, so appearance matters less to her than emotional connection. That being said she’s very fond of Ales’s eyes and smile. Probably because she never smiles herself

D - Dirty Secret (Pretty self-explanatory, a dirty secret of theirs)

Lily - her love of smutty novels and rapidly growing collection

Mika - he wants Seras to break him in half

Ales - this man has so many secrets, I don’t even know where to start.

Kit - degradation kink, but only with Ales, and he is extremely confused by it

I - Intimacy (How are they during the moment? The romantic aspect.)

Lily - bit shy at first, but once she warms up, she’s sweet, giggly, cuddly

Mika - chivalrous gentleman, but can’t help letting his horndog side out the minute he thinks he could get away with it

Ales - 100% die-hard romantic, and very, very smooth. His mind-reading ability makes it very easy to know exactly what his partner wants to hear, so he always knows the right thing to say.

Kit - demure, coy. She teases, and tests, and wants to be impressed. If you manage it, she’ll melt in your hands.

T - Toys (Do they own toys? Do they use them? On a partner or themselves?)

Lily - maybe not yet, but she’s open to them. 👀 she already knows she likes light choking and bondage. Y’all know them sheltered, repressed girls always end up the freakiest

Mika - I mean I haven’t thought about it much but I think this man secretly wants to get pegged so yeah I think he’s got some toys

Ales - 100% has them and uses them on his partner, he’s a pleaser and he’ll try anything once as long as it’s not illegal. I don’t think he’d do anything involving pain though, outside of biting he’s pretty averse to it.

The World Of Ice And Fire: The Andals Arrive In Westeros

Warning, Spoilers Ahead…

  The conflicts, and later the truce, between the Rhoynar and the Freehold of the Valyria protected the Andals as they prospered in the Hills of Andalos. The establishment of Volantis at the mouth of the Rhoyne made it clear to the Andals that their time as a free people was running out.

The Andals fled their homeland and landed in Westeros to begin their own forced conquest and subjugation of the current population. With the added bonus of religious zealotry!

The First Men are not happy. Not happy at all! Of course, they may now understand how the Children of the Forest and the giants felt when the First Men showed up centuries ago.

Onto the details…

The Valyrian reigned in the worship of the Seven in Essos but the Andals are in Westeros and running wild!

“Made zealous by the conflict and the flight, the warriors of the Andals carved the seven-pointed star upon their bodies and swore by their blood and the Seven not to rest until they had hewn their kingdoms from the sunset lands. Their success gave Westeros a new name: Rhaesh Andali – the land of the Andals, as the Dothraki now name it.”

Zealous or over-compensating for getting curb-stomped by the Valyrians?

The Septons, singers, and maesters all agree the Andals first landed on the Fingers in the Vale of Arryn. They base this belief due to the abundance of carved rocks and stones displaying the seven-pointed star. A practice that fell out of use as the Andals swept across Westeros.

The Andals first conquered the Vale. The First Men were outmatched due to the Andals superior iron armor and weapons. (The First Men were still in the Bronze Age of weaponry). The Vale war likely lasted decades. Most First Men submitted but there are still a few houses in the Vale (the Redforts, the Royces) that still proudly claim their descent from the First Men.

The legends claim Ser Artys Arryn, an Andal hero, rode a falcon to slay the Griffon King at the Giant’s Lance, founding the “kingly line of House Arryn”.  Yandel’s a fuddy-duddy and states it’s nonsense and a corruption of the Arryns’ true history with legends from the Age of Heroes. In truth, the Arryn Kings “supplanted the High Kings of House Royce”.  Why can’t it be both?

The clans of the Mountains of the Moon are descendants of the First Men who refused to bend the knee and were driven into the mountains. Yandel notes the similarities between the mountain clans and wildings: bride-stealing, “a stubborn desire to rule themselves”, etc. Yandel maintains the wildings are also descendants of the First Men.

Once the Vale was secured, the Andals poured out of the Bloody Gate to conquer the rest of Westeros. Fighting each other as often as they fought the First Men. Many small kingdoms formed in the aftermath of these battles.

In the Trident wars, seven Andal kings joined forces to battle Tristifer the Fourth, the last true King of the Rivers. Tristifer was defeated in his hundredth battle. Tristifer the Fifth was “unable to defend his father’s legacy” and the Andals conquered the Rivers.
