General Angela Shepard Hc's:

° It is already canon that Angela is incredibly beautiful and extremely popular. She’s loud and talks big, but there’s also a sweeter side to her under her more guarded walls. Not many people get to see her vulnerability because she doesn’t want to get hurt.

° The kinder part of her is why her brothers call her Angel sometimes, though Byron in the book notes that she’s anything but that.

° It’s also canon that in ‘That Was Then, This Is Now’, that the Shepard household is extremely volatile so I imagine that Angela doesn’t always enjoy coming back home. She’d rather much stay at a friend’s home, not liking to disclose the reasons why.

° She’s had a huge crush on Ponyboy Curtis for as long as she can remember, but since Ponyboy hasn’t really been into girls all that much, he’s not exactly taken much notice of her.

° To cause some mischief I know that Angela puts makeup on her brothers faces whenever they’ve pissed her off a lot. They hate it but lmaoo it’s funny when Tim doesn’t check his face in the mirror and arrives at work to people laughing at him.

° She doesn’t have to worry about anyone picking on her because Tim, Curly and her brother’s gang will settle any score for her. She’s always kept safe and no one is dumb enough to cross Tim Shepard since he’s so rough.

° Angela has very tumultuous relationships, but craves to have closeness with people. She struggles with understanding her own identity and will often fall from relationship to relationship.

° She’s never been to juvie and although Tim was excited when Curly went, he’d be mad as hell if Angela ever went to prison or got into shit with the law.

° She’s still stolen and broken rules/the law, just not gotten caught for them, especially by Tim. He has a sneaking suspicion as people talk, but since there’s no proof - he pretends like she’s just an angel.

° She has a habit of blaming everything on Curly, but he does it to her as well and it’s usually over petty things that range up to more serious things. It’s a sibling thing they do, but neither would ever dare to do the same towards Tim.

° Like come on Angela! Tim knows it wasn’t Curly that got lipstick on his new shirt that he was certain you stole to dye your friends hair!

° Angela always wanted to be a cheerleader but never made the cut due to the head cheerleader being jealous of her, and thus sabotaging her ability to get onto the team.

° She was a bad bitch and ruined her life because she's brutal. The girl never recovered from the rumors she spread and had to move somewhere else.

° Angela is fiery as hell. Do not cross her because she can make anyone’s life a living hell.

° Dally - when he was alive - never paid her any attention because she was just a dumb kid in his eyes, but he never told Tim that. One late afternoon he came through for her when she was stupidly walking home from a friend’s house. He had intervened before she could get jumped by two sick Soc’s. He skipped the lecture and although he was a little pushy, as she looks back on it now, she knew Dal had been worried for her when he asked her where her brothers were.

° “I won’t tell ‘em jackshit, but you better promise me you won’t pull some dumb stunt like that again, kid.” He’d barked at her.

° After that, Angela really liked Dally, often happy whenever she’d see him. Tim and Curly thought she had a crush on him, but that wasn’t the case.

° In the fifth grade, she had an accident on her friend’s bicycle. She went sailing down a hill and straight into a tree. The medical bills weren’t cheap and Angela cried the entire time.

° She has one true friend who’s always joint at the hip with her. They’re dubbed the Long Lost Shepard Sibling.

° She can fight alright! Genuinely could knock somebody out twice her size and barely break a sweat. Don’t ever make her jealous, that’s for sure!

° She has this habit of chewing the ends of her pencils. Some of her friends tease her about it because it’s “gross”, but she does it without realizing and it makes her self-conscious when it’s brought up.

° Her favorite flavor of ice cream is raspberry swirl. She never gets ice cream often, but she’s one of those people that’ll eat it regardless of the weather.

° She fainted in biology class when they had to dissect a dead frog. But luckily for her, so did five other people! So everyone got over making fun of her for it pretty quickly.

° Her hair is her most prized possession as it’s so long, black and silky. She only gets it cut once in a while and takes such amazing care of it.
